1601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 13, 2022, 07:35:32 PM
It was funny, I didn't expect Manny Pacquiao to be that harsh fighting against a Youtuber. I know DK Yoo has experience as a martial artist but he's really more of a social media personality than a fighter. And Manny Pacquiao was going there as if he's about to face a powerful opponent. It seems Manny still hasn't unlearned his fighting instincts and forgotten for a while that what he's actually into is just an exhibition match for charity. It was good everything remained friendly though.

True, I guess once a warrior always a warrior, Manny seems to be going for a kill here, trying to knockout DK Yoo. So it's hard to unlearn what he has been doing in the ring for more than 20 years. Maybe someone in the corner or in the crowd will have to remind Manny that this is all exhibitions fights and he should not give his 100% to try and knock down a inexperienced boxer. But the good thing is that the referee is there to save DK from the onslaught of Manny and never counts the knockdown. Wonder though was will be the numbers in terms of viewership and how much they raised in this fight.

Manny probably has the same feeling when he's inside the ring wearing his gloves. He will probably feel that strong urge to overpower and punish his opponent. But this one is a different fight. This was all for fun and for charity. We can understand Manny if he's not that relaxed. This is his first exhibition match I think.

I think Manny is guaranteed of at least $5 million. That includes his PPV share. I don't know how much of this will go to charity.

Seems that way, but I know that he's just holding up his strength because his opponent in his 1st exhibition fight was not a boxer. It would be more interesting if he will be facing another retired boxer or at least from MMA who knows a bit of boxing. But a martial artist? Ain't no way that DK Yoo can at least win a single round, and that's indeed what happened.
Just really that a common sense on what would be the result and its clear as day and as an exhibition then it isnt really that surprising anymore on what would be the result.Im just amazed on how
Pacquiao did really hold off his power and speed just to make the show a little bit further or did really finish the remaining rounds. You could really able to see on the big difference
with a real boxer and a non boxer and there's soo much in gap with skills and stamina on which it is really that evident on what would really happen.
In overall it is really just great to see on how these fighters did really do their best on showing us some entertaining fight even if its obvious hehehe.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Ever Reach $100k? on: December 11, 2022, 07:57:01 PM
Currently the price is around $ 17k and if there is a rise of course it will take at least another year to reach $ 100k, as someone who has known bitcoin for a long time of course this is a good opportunity to buy so we can sell at a high price when $ 100k.
Bitcoin managed to reach $68k+ as it all time high but reaching the $100k mark I guess would take more than a year knowing that there's no consistency over market price increase, also that the market price is currently at $17k not to mention that it is having a hard time to recover. If things (which contributed to the downfall of this market this year) would be somehow 'fixed' or covered by new things to come for this industry for the next year or years, then possibility would be higher. Before I even thought that the market value would be able to reach $50k but it did surpass my expectations so maybe it has a chance to break such market price in the future.
Would neither take 5 more years or something like that if we do speak about $100k.Im not really that too hopeful or too optimistic on when we would be breaking out those ceilings or simply with those resistances but

there are really people who are minding that much and becomes too emotional on that part and ending up on messing their investment decision because of sudden shift or switch when it comes to price movement.

Lets just wait up and position ourselves on acquiring and accumulating Bitcoin as much as we could if we do really trust it out but of course you should
really be making yourself wary about those certain risks. When it comes to investment then always bare in mind that there's always that risk in attached.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 11, 2022, 06:43:35 PM

..

Yup, you're actually right about that. There is no doubt that Manny Pacquiao can still give a good fight and give knock out punches on his opponent especially in this case that DK Yoo is not that accustomed to boxing, so we can really say he's way beyond the legend's level. But this time is different because their main goal is to entertain without sacrificing each other's safety. Not possible to see people sleeping on the canvass on this type of fight.
Just like on other exhibition fights where TKO is really that almost impossible to happen considering that both fighters are really that fully aware on how long they would really be putting up a show.

Its part of their script and just as expected with exhibition fights and this is why its not really that something interesting if you do ask me.Fight performance wont really be in 100% scale.
For some reason or just simply with the fun and entertainment which these exhibition fights do really still get significant views and tickets been sold.
People are still rooting and would like to see on how Pacquiao would be fighting even he's already retired.
1604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 10, 2022, 10:34:33 PM
Fake money is used in demo account.  And the demo account is basically a place for a newbie to learn  about trading. This is a good place for newbies to learn trading practically and start trading business with real money in real account. However, there is no connection between the demo account and the real account.  However, the rules for trading in a real account and demo account are the same

I don't see how the rules for trading a real account and demo account are the same because you already saying demo account is fake money and that is correct in the sense that you can't withdraw it. But whether the demo and real account are the same is only on the fact that the technicality like the strategy, indicators but the emotions are not because as a newbie there are panic and fear when trading real account.

Of course, the feeling when trading with money on a demo account and real money will be different. this puts pressure on traders when trading on their real accounts. especially beginners who panic very easily when they see the value of the asset they are trading has decreased.
we can use a demo account to get to know better the exchange we use. available features and there may be differences. although I'm sure almost all exchanges have similar features.
In demo, you do have the unlimited funds which on the time that you had deplete out your balance because of losing trades then you would be easily be able to replenish it and this is what makes you really that

too confident or simply it doesnt really involved any stress or thrill when doing trades since you do know that you cant lose on this way.Unlike when you are making use of your own money then it would be an another story which people would really be on their serious state and being that too mindful in regarding into their actions that they would be making of.
Demo account is only good for familiarizing but not something that you could really make your emotions a bit better but rather the opposite.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 10, 2022, 07:22:20 PM
Manny was the legendary player of boxing world with all types of matches. But DK also the good player with some good strategy towards the game.DK was master of various martial arts and it also includes of boxing. So his game was unique with different techniques. His fight against the legendary fighter Manny had a huge audience to the game of boxing.

I'm not sure though if you have followed DK career, this is boxing not martial arts exhibitions, so in any case he will be at a disadvantage here because this is Manny's bread and butter to speak off.

Unique as in what? they will just stand in front of the ring and throw bombs, you can't used your legs here.

And obviously this is just an exhibition match so fans are going to buy this fight because of Manny Pacquiao.

In short, there's nothing really exciting in this fight apart from the fact that Manny Pacquiao is returning to the limelight in the form of exhibition fights to entertain his audience as well as his fans that wanted to see him again. For me, there's really nothing big to expect on this fight as it's really not possible now that Pacquiao will a good show to give his name another hype because he's not on his professional career anymore.
Wont really be that exciting considering that he wont really be putting up his full fight seriousness considering that he's already retired and also his opponent isnt really a real boxer.
Even this man had already retired but still he would still pack a punch which would really put up DK yoo on  canvass easily but since these two should really be making up some show
time then i wont be surprised that those punches would be held back which is really something that very common to happen. He wont really be tending to finish the fight
on first round only because if he does then that would really bring up lots of complains or negative inputs that it should really bit a little longer to make their ticket purchase worth.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 09, 2022, 11:27:59 PM
Casino security directly depends on how guarded the casino is, they usually place several people to secure the place so that nothing dangerous happens unless the casino is illegal and does not get permission from the local government.
In my place, there are no live casinos that can be visited, but in big cities, there are live gambling places that are operating but are illegal.
They are nowadays preferring online casinos because just lying in bed can open casino sites easily. But hacking online sites will be a problem for every user like phishing sites, malware, etc.
Live or Online Casino has their own advantages and disadvantages and depends on the needs.
We can always go for online or live casinos of our choice but we should always be cautious and even mindful from being scammed or being put into danger especially outside live casinos. Even if we say that live casinos have several guards to keep safe the site, but i think there is more danger outside in physical casinos that you can't even protect yourself once you will be cornered.
On the time that you are out of casinos vicinity or property then you shouldnt really consider yourself to be safe because its out of their premises or border for you to be protect with their security personel.

If you are really that too mindful when it comes into your security then its better to make out actions which would really be basing on that on where trying to avoid those possible scenarios that could happen.

When you do win up big or hit up some good amount then it would really understandable that you would be looking yourself to be safe when you do get home. This is the only thing i do
see a problem when you do go into these physical places which it is really a safety hazard when everyone knows that you do have lots of money.

That's right, even in the parking space. there are still casino security or even outside of the casino's itself. But then again, you know that risk when you go outside by yourself, you need to be self aware of your environment and think that there is someone that is following you then take steps or maybe not go home right away. Perhaps stay inside the casino hotel for good measures before you go home with big money. But then again, with this kind of incident, case that the OP link is separated the individual is looking to hurt other people regardless of the place or venue.
Incidents could really happen anytime and anywhere and its true and basing up on what OP mentioned that it did really happen inside the premises and its not the first time and this is why as an individual then you

should really be that attentive for whatever things that might happen around on your surroundings because on this type of place or kind is really that prone into these kind of incidents.

I could say that it is really that very normal since there are people who are really that too impulsive and really that too emotional when it comes to their bets
specially on their losing side.
1607  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 09, 2022, 10:16:58 PM
I think school falls short, or at least for me and my schoolmates, we were never taught
any financial education. That was reserved for the more academic students.

But it's true, Financial education is so important, everything we do has a financial aspect
or consequence.

Yes, these are valid questions, and they deserve real answers. It should be a requirement, as important as reading and writing. While it can be true that ignorance is bliss, it is also true that financial education can't fix all of life's issues. However, it sure can help us get started on the right foot when it comes to money. And that, I believe, is worth its weight in gold.

Why there are people who cant just appreciate even with these things and trying out to say that they arent really that useful or something that relevant?

If we do look into different angle then it would really be still that needed and relevant for you to learn up, even though it might not or cant really be used most of the time but at least we do already have the idea
and knowledge into different things.
Personal experience would be always that in life which would be giving that never ending learning and we know that having more is much
better rather making yourself look dumb. hehe

1609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 09, 2022, 09:12:32 PM

Now my question is
~why can't we relate demo accounts to real accounts
~why do you think people still start making losses on real accounts after long time trading demo successfully
Demo to real accounts are indeed connected since you are really trying out to test out your skills and trying out to familiarize those indicators and market movement. The only thing that mainly differs them is that you wont really be having any emotions with Demo account since you do know that you cant really lose and you are just trying to make use of fake balance which means that you cant really be that so serious
on each trades that you are making since youve got nothing to lose and this is their main difference. You cant be serious on inputting those strategies unlike when you are dealing with
live account where it would really be giving out that different vibe since you do know that you would lose up money on the time you had made out a bad decision.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: December 08, 2022, 11:14:01 PM
It's fine that Twitch wants to protect its reputation because streamers know why, too.
Streamers will look for other places that can still receive their content so they can still invite their followers to move places too.
Followers will follow wherever the streamer moves because they like the content of that streamer
Yes, i totally agree with this very statement of yours, because in as much as there are many streamers, there are some who does it in a unique way with style that fans wont mind following him or her to any other platforms just to stream his or her content live. And I'm sure if Twitch do not have a rethink about this, they may end up losing more people using their social media, as gambling casinos use to have the most sponsorship on twitch

Well without going too far, in the case of stake.com, with Drake he is an influencer who can go to any platform and I am sure that any of his followers will not mind going where he says, because they are people who already have many followers, fans and twitch is just a platform, it doesn't mean that ´for the platform all the fun and things should continue, it's a shame because I personally like that platform a lot, it's also comfortable and when the internet connection it was slow there was a special buffer function, that's something very comfortable, I'm not the only one who sometimes has a slow internet, so all those functions are what one misses.

Does DLive doesnt have this kind of feature? I havent used Dlive or other streaming platforms other than Twitch which it is really indeed that great but since they do make out such decision then there's nothing we can

do.To those who are solid fans of those streamers then if they do tend to switch up into other platforms then it would really be normal that they would really be following along. In speaking with those competitors of

Twitch which its really that impossible that they wont really be applying other platforms feature and would tend to hook up those previous users specially now
that Twitch had really ban or prohibit gambling streams.
1611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Hit $23,000 in Q1 2023? on: December 08, 2022, 10:52:52 PM
What is special about the $23,000? It is not a resistance level and it is not a turning point in the price. The turning points are 18000, 21000 and 25000. 23000 is just a price barrier at which the price may stop for a while, but it does not represent a point of change in the nature of the price.

Bitcoin can return to that price if:
  • The Russia-Ukraine war ended peacefully and the energy problem was resolved.
  • The Fed started pumping liquidity into the market and declaring inflation control.
  • A decline in the value of the dollar, or an increase in risk appetite.
  • Huge investments from institutional funds.
  • US ETF announcement.

What are the chance of either this scenario will happen in 2023?

So it's really hard to answer that question, but yeah maybe one of them will spark the market to make a run into at least $23k. But we all know that next year, we are in the second half of a bear market so I doubt that we can see the price to that level even if those scenario will happen, just saying.

Might be better if this will happen at the bull run though, because it will be easy for the market to push the price  and maybe we may see 6 digits at that time because that's what we all have been waiting for.

first and foremost, no one can assure the price level of btc at a certain period of time. but we can all speculate on where it will land in your target timeline. so hard to say where exactly we are going as we are just relying on what news are we going to receive in the coming days. we can't also connect the btc price level with the situations happening right now, as there are news that can actually influence the price, like sudden news coming from musk regarding his crypto projects, who knows?
This is why im not really that stressing myself out when it comes to price analysis or point on a particular period of time because it cant really be always that precise or something you should expect on.

This is why its better to make our own analysis and trying out to make those strategy and placing yourself into something which you do seem that it would really be that something give off the chance
for you to make profits.
Hardest thing to deal with is against through volatility which is of course that you cant really assure whether those prediction of yours would turn out to be positive
or negative.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 08, 2022, 09:26:59 PM

I really don't think there is drama here, everything is very clear, Butler is a boxer who doesn't talk much, Inoue is a very focused boxer, I don't know if he really cares about getting more fame or not, I've always seen him in a very calm and somewhat respectful way, this type of boxer are the ones who have the most discipline and the ones who make the most effort to do their job well, and it is for them that they get all my admiration and well, in addition to this it shows in the ring that does everything well, because Casimero wants to go against him, that's like counting the eggs before they are born, this fight will be very interesting.

There's no drama here because it's a complete mismatch. Although Butler is still a champion but compared to Inoue, I don't see him being a threat to Inoue who always wants to finish the fight early. Butler's power is way below the power of Inoue, and in terms of quickness, Inoue still has the edge. Now, if Butler wants to have a shot, he should be smart and find a strategy to beat Inoue.

Inoue is a silent type of fighter. Maybe Butler knows how to do some trash talking but he better stay silent too because he is facing the world's best fighter at the moment.

I also do not know how Butler can beat Inoue. Of course, he should stay smart but the problem is, Inoue is smarter than him, has quicker footwork, faster hand speed, and is gifted with monstrous power in both hands. Inoue also proved his chin is hard since he stayed on his feet after receiving powerful bombs from Donaire in their first encounter.

Trash talk is normal when there's a upcoming match and its just butler do that for marketing purposes, he maybe want to get in the head of Inoue to destroy his focus that's why he do that. But this is so hard for him knowing how difficult to defeat this Japanese monster which is still on his prime. Butler need to focus to solidify his body knowing Inoue have solid punch which can knock out any of his opponent.

Well you can trash talk your way with you are the bigger puncher in the fight. But in this case what will be Butler's advantage? Will he tell that he will beat Inoue or knock him out when no one has done that before?

For me it's better for Butler not to talk trash as it might motivate Inoue more to look for an early knock out to shut his mouth. Just try to give the best out of this fight.
You could really be able to differentiate out boxers when it comes to their behavior specially on what they have done in the past, if ones a trashtalker or really that something a boastful person then you would really be

always having that kind of behavior. If ever Butler would throw up things on how he would beat up Inoue on a harsh way then it is really just right that he should prove it out or else he would really be getting lots of
criticisms if he talk big but cant really finish off the job.

We've seen those talkers in Inoues past opponents but it turns out that ending up on being a disaster.I do agree that Butler shouldnt really be that talkative right now.  Cheesy
1613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: December 08, 2022, 08:14:12 PM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.
People keep doing trading and investing but still don't know how to fix the mistake and make themselves better could be a reason why those traders are not gaining anything from their trading activities. Sure, each person have different time and effort to actually understand the situation of the market and it's not everyone's game but actually with research and listening to other people advice for reference and use it for better condition to you, it could be beneficial for those traders who are seeking to be better at trading. It's really hard of course but some of you could make it.
We cant be perfect
We cant be precise
We cant really be constant on making profits

But what we are targeting and aiming is on which to make out profits in the end of the day and this is why we are really that pursuing on doing trades. We know that trading isnt really that for all
on which there are people who are really be able to withstand and there are people who do easily surrender or give up.
On the time that you had reached up on being profitable or really doing good then i dont see for someone to be discontented with that and trying out to look
for another thing which it is really that somewhat impossible in that case.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: December 07, 2022, 10:16:37 PM
^
Okay just to follow up on this topic after all we are all in this discussion anyway.

Which one would you prefer?
  • Losing money because unintentionally your friend does something like removing it on the black 15
  • Or losing a friend because he bet the amount without consulting you?
Losing money is better than losing friends. But it would be a different story if we could not trust our friend and it would be better to lose him than lose money because of his attitude. But if he accidentally made a mistake, we can forgive him because everyone makes mistakes. And hopefully, after we forgive him, he can be better than before and not make mistakes again. Friendships sometimes do often experience cases like that and this makes us have to be wise in reacting to it.

I agree here that friends are more important than money
just adding a small caveat: make sure your friends are really your friends.
similar to love, it's not always the case that a relationship is mutual
Important than money but not all would really just afford and let his friend would do such thing specially that we are talking about $350k which is something that you cant just let it slip away.

It might not really that a big amount for other people but this is indeed already life changing for some which you cant just let others do mess it up and dont make it happen. Its unrealistic somehow

because once bets had been placed then there's no way that there would be alteration or changes on mid-way which it would really be in their negligence or their fault
in case it did really happen. You could really make out complaints or contest it out if there would be argumentations in  this regard.

it's much easier to decide and see through situations after they happened than predicting it
I think this is one of these cases
we don't know what the people involved in the situation felt or thought while it was happening

tricky
Yes, there are ones who do really say up things when they arent on the situation but on the time that they are on the said situation then pretty sure you wouldnt really know on what or on how you would really act.

Each person does have their own personality and if they do really give out importance that much with money then they could pretty sure trying out to take up some revenge in case they would miss out out getting

that $350,000 because of that stupid change of bets just because of that shitty concern of your friend that you might lose up big or become addicted.
Its not really actually a solid reason.

1615  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: December 07, 2022, 07:43:35 PM
Those who are thinking longer term, those who are seeing the potentials beyond the long bearish season know what is coming and they know that 2023 is a very strategic year for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general and they are getting ready it.

We may see regulations in different countries. We may see 10% to 15% increase in adoption of bitcoin across the world and it is likely that more centralized exchanges may go out of business,

Aside 2023 being a strategic year, their gaze is set on 2024 because which is the year where bitcoin may be valued at $100k and above. A lot of money to be made.
Everything is something that cant be assured since no one really knows on what the future looks like but seeing into its potential then we do know on where it would be heading out. There's only two possible way
which is going upwards or downwards on upcoming years to come.

If you could bare up the risk then its up to someones choice whether they would be waiting for possible bottom price or they would be placing up themselves on the current prices
and believing that it is already the bottom?

There's no way we could tell on what would be happening in next and this is where risk taking would take place.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto would you like to see more in Online Casinos? on: December 07, 2022, 06:30:37 PM
Now, I'm aware that licensed casinos are tied to payment providers, and then they mostly use whichever currency that payment provider offers
I'm sure that almost all the crypto payment providers have bitcoin in default along with some of the major cryptocurrencies like ETH, DOGE, LTC, USDT. If all these are available in any casino, where's the necessity of any other coins & why even some casinos create their own shit token? I see no single reason TBH.
They are really just making those casino based tokens to be used into their own sole platform, just like on what you do said that there's no sense actually on creating those coins. Its true that it turns out that

everything had been offered out specially Bitcoin which is something already in default and its impossible for a certain platform whom wont be considering those top altcoins in the market since its been mainly or been most
been used by gambling community which it is really just right that they would really be that having consideration.

Speaking on what we would like to see on online casinos is that we are really that longing for something unique or havent been seen games in the market
which it would really be that interesting.
1617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: December 07, 2022, 05:17:10 PM
Agreed, Bro according to your point of view capital is the sole difference it's for the long run dear but dear according to my point of view if there is day trading then the capital plays a minor role and trading volume plays a major role as capital is not responsible for the fluctuation but trading is so volume brings the volatility in the market which too important
Having a bigger capital without enough trading knowledge and skills has a bigger risk as well. Yes, capital is important but it is also necessary that we know the risk that we are taking and the ways to deal with it. We should have at least the basic knowledge about the fundamentals and technical analysis because capital alone won't make us successful. Trading has a huge risk and you can't minimize it by having a bigger capital but rather by being fully equipped with skills and knowledge.
Having a bigger capital with less knowledge compared to those who do have small capital would really still make out that difference.Just like on what people been saying that knowledge or skills would be the key

for you to be able to sustain and survive this unpredictable market. It wont really matter on how big your capital is because the number or size of position on each trade is the key.
Also with that risk management factor thing is should be mainly considered.

Even if you do have small amount of capital but you do really know on how to withstand this volatility then you do beat up those fellas who have big capital
with less trading knowledge.

If you are afraid of being robbed in a land-based casino, then:

- Don't bring a lot of money with you (it's better to have a separate card with a small balance)
- Do not come in an expensive car
- Do not dress provocatively (no need to stand out from the crowd)
- If possible, visit land-based casinos in the company of friends
- Carry a gun.
- If you are still afraid that you will be robbed, then play only online casinos.

-You know that less money wont really be that enough.
-Not all does have that expensive car but does really love to boast up their current ones.
-Getting dressed or do really likes to get attention is what most people do try out to achieve
-You cant be friends with anyone
-Not all does have the license on doing so
-If you do have that feeling then this is the wisest thing to do.

I dont see anything risks when you do play but rather see the risks when you do hit big win while you are playing.
This is on the time where eyes would be spotted on you.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX collapse: Good or bad for crypto in the long run? on: December 06, 2022, 10:11:07 PM
In my opinion when FTX Collapse is a bad thing, although they have been proven to manipulate data and use consumer money for pleasure but this will make panic and make investors think that the FTX case will be repeated.
Exchange bankruptcy
Exchange used up their investors/users funds

Is never considered to be a good thing and of course its extremely bad. This do create extreme fud and lost of trust into the market which some people say its temporal but this would really be creating
that permanent damage in speaking about reputation of entire crypto space. New users or investors could impossibly be able to ignore these factors and incidents.
Any exchange hacks and other issues in relation with hacking and other things correlated is never been good and could give that impression
which would slow down up a bit if we do speak about recognition and adoption.
