Cryptsy trading for XPY has resumed, good time to sell if you have it at 0.0008.
1622  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 13, 2015, 12:05:39 AM
I have traced Paycoin deposits to Cryptsy in the past couple of hours, originating from the usual Shuffle Address Web that Josh has been using all along. So, at the very least , Paycoin deposits are still be accepted by Cryptsy, from at least one person. They might be accepting deposits from everyone, not sure about that.

I don't think it is possible to "not accept deposits".  They would have to stop the blockchain or something.

Sounds right, and Josh most likely does not know how to turn off his shuffle bots to make them stop depositing to the exchanges. Just like he can't figure out how to turn off the Twitter Bot that keeps sending out fake reviews every day on long gone products.

You can keep sending Coins because it's going to an address on the Blockchain, Cryptsy would receive these Coins but won't post the balances for people to trade until they reopen the markets. Maybe they are sending them there still in the expectation that the markets will be reopened so they can sell into the new walls?

Split this off from the other thread...

Meanwhile, PayCon Weelets are performing phenomenally  Smiley

A POS coin that's not possible to mine ? SMH...

I think it's more about eliminating sell pressure, I'll be happy to send you some for free or even sell you 1-2% at like 400-500 Satoshis and that would go towards more development work.

The goal is to show what can be done, and even make a little money as well, for everyone involved.

This week is about automation, all the Weelets, Yanglets, Primelets, and Immortals are one gigantic script that feeds into each other. It has all been written upon time presets and drifting intervals.

It's just like PayCoins shuffle script but probably even more advanced than that.

What is the point of PayCon if I can't mine it ? What incentive do new miners have to become involved with it ?

You mine it with ownership of Coins, when holding a coin it is better not to have pow mining because you have outside influence affecting price negatively, if all mining is from holders then they make returns over time regardless of price.

Edit: Let me elaborate a little more, at a minimum age of 2 days people can receive 30 Coins per Stake and as time goes on it increases the active Coins Staking on the network. To hold onto a Coin you want to receive some returns but with most markets there is a small amount of depth so a high rate of return for Staking eventually leads to all Coins being active in Staking and not all holders are going to sell all their Coins which reduces the amount of actual sell pressure. Price being low or even gaining over time, it provides a lot of opportunity to make ROI on Coins bought as you would receive over and above the actual inflation per year as not all Coins Stake and when moving Coins it also takes those Coins out of circulation. If the price is the same but you have 50% more Coins then it is easier to make some ROI.

Also, if there is deemed to be further improvements we can make that can provide fairer distribution for holders, we can also make that change as everything should be on the table.

So lets see Garza and the rest of his goons get into a squabble over paycoin, prime controllers, etc.  Garza says there is a hack gets trading halted somehow, tells people to move coins into offline wallets.  Now have I missed something or isn't the wallet code broke so you can't use anything but online wallets?  If it's fixed (or hacked around by skipping the error) then you would need to get the updated wallet which he is telling people not to do.  That just leaves mineral.  Is this whole thing just another scam to get people to move their money to mineral to make it look like that great place he's trying to make it out to be?  I've noticed a total lack of it even being mentioned in this whole mess.

I think they don't really know what's going on and all the arguing is causing a huge mess when there doesn't need to be. Only wallet that kinda works is their new one but Josh doesn't want that because he will lose control so you have two parties telling you to do different things but of course no one really knows what to do.
1625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 12, 2015, 10:54:33 PM
I wonder what's going to happen next week when their new wallet is supposed to take over with the Prime Stake rate change? Will it stick? or will the whole chain just seize up?

I've read this whole thread and I don't quite understand what is to happen?  Isn't there a 2.0 wallet already?  What are the pluses of the new wallet?  Does the new wallet exclude Josh?

The only changes of the new wallet was "wait 10 seconds before next getblocks" and the change of Prime Nodes from 350% to 100%. They are making it out like it's the fixes they've been waiting for but aren't addressing some other issues with difficulty. There are a couple new icons, other than that they have 150 commits of fluff, fixing a spelling mistake here and there, just making it look like there is actual work being done. It doesn't inspire confidence when they write new code and misspell something as small a "mandatory" as "manditory" but maybe they are saving that for a future commit.

Trying to solo mine is quite hard. I keep getting ''not providing work fast enough''.

I think the blocks are that fast it is struggling.

Anyone have any tips ?.

Slow down the Block times?

That Joshtard banned me from HT again.
And since there's no other mod than Josh on HT, I can just forget to get my account back.

Goodbye HT, hello BCT Smiley
I think it would make sense if you reveal all information you have. It will help others bite the bullet and leave Josh alone with his dwindling coins.

I'm sure a lot of you are going to question me when I say this, but I would rather wait with making specific things public.
There are people who are more involved than I am, and I believe they should have a fair chance to make things public before me.
(Same goes with that document I only posted the headline of.)

I expect answers like "you know nothing". Well, believe me if you want to.

Don't worry about it, everyone's fairly friendly over here and you don't have to worry too much about getting your posts deleted or banned here. People are going to question everything, it's just the way it is, things are never going to be the same.

ohaaioo!!!wOOoOw  Shocked
i wasn´t here the last days.please can somebody explain me this crazy stake Thing....
i have to do something???or just let my wallet run ???tell me and make me happy Smiley

It's all automatic, you don't need to do anything different. The Stakes will be increased during Stake week and some of the Blocks you may Stake may be 10%, 100%, 350% more or even can some large random Blocks.

Quick answer: Just let your wallet run.

Random - does your weight affect that? So if you don't have many coins you can still get these stakes? Do you still have to wait 2 days? (just wondering as I keep my wallet open, have since the coin launched and never stake much)

No, it's based on time. It sends out Coins as TX Fees at set intervals with a random amount of drift time, it's like a range where there is a minimum amount of time (say 2 minutes) with a random amount of time (1 second to 4 minutes) for an average of 3 minutes. When you Stake during this week, you have a chance to hit some of these Blocks and in order to Stake when you want you could hold back some of Your Stake for the days you want, or let it Stake and manage the sizes of your Blocks to be a bit larger for higher weight in each Block. It is recommended to have Blocks of around 500 Coins each.

Dude, PayCon is terrible, and you should feel terrible for having anything to do with it.

How is it terrible?

The code is quite nice and showing people some neat stuff.

I actually like your little feature of being able to send a portion of your stake to a charity (another address).  Very clever bit of code.

Presstab also helped us out with multi-send, so you can now send multiple's to different people and it's written to the wallet.

Taking each other to court over air?

You know that the Blockchain doesn't even mean too much right? It's just a consensus ledger, but doesn't seem they can come to a consensus without going to court.

Would somebody be kind enough to post the status of SEC investigation if there have been any updates in the past week (was away on vacation)?

Josh got sued for $350,000 for an unpaid power bill last week.

Paycoin.com wallet was "hacked" a few hours ago for 250k XPY and more than 100k was sold into the market.

Well atleast this "IngCr3at1on" guy has some idea of what he's doing but the way they've done their protocol cutoff is a bit strange, I guess we will see in a week whether or not it works but considering the spelling mistakes on words that shouldn't be misspelt, I don't have high hopes. I won't bag Team XPY too hard, seems like they've gotten over their head a bit and I'm glad someone is stepping up to take away the Primes from Josh.
