621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CONFIRMED! Leroy Fodor's stakeminers.com site is a scam! on: August 05, 2015, 07:02:16 PM
Well we know for sure he never experienced the pain of CPU/GPU mining.

Pain? That's when btc mining was fun! And decentralised!

Pain! That's what Leroy Fodor's StakeMiners' investors will feel when they finally realize they've been honestly had, comin' back to this forum cryin' their fuckin' eyes out while seekin' help from fellow monumental asshole dudes currently warnin' them to exit their position because Leroy refuses to offer up one iota of proof of altcoins honestly being staked oppose to his venerable operation honestly being nothing short of a Ponzi scheme.

Well I know he is Staking PayCon and hopefully he doesn't get too angry for this but here is atleast one address when I was giving him some advice on optimal sized Blocks and handling criticism from people (the same things I've been saying here).

622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 05, 2015, 06:35:13 PM
silly people still think scrypt.cc is a scam hihihi...
I am still making profit and i am still buying over 200 khs every 3 days...
I see no problems only that hackers attacked the website and stole btc so we all had to take one more hit after the power trouble...
I see many people or 1 person with many acounts making lots of fud...
I see khs price is cheap so i keep buying more and more...
I will see myself making lots of btc in 2016 with scrypt.cc...
I will see this storm pass by and will be good and happy...
I will see all the haters proven wrong here...
And for all my dear friends at scrypt.cc hope we will speak soon...
And for Marcelo Santos keep up the good work and many blessings...
Ps can you fix the chatbox @ scrypt i miss chatting with everybody...
xxx

lol you have it all backwards, it is lots of real people warning others not to put their money into Ponzi scheme's and just a few people with many fake newly created newbie accounts made solely for the purpose of trying to defend and promote so they can get their money out.

Hey friends  Grin
I must admit: I lie, cheat, insult, abuse, and what about? No one knows. it has been so good, someone mentioned they call it happy trolling and yes, that is what it is and that is what I do Cheesy
This is the most ridicules forum thread with time waisters I have ever seen, I had loads of fun, thanks.
For now I will not use this account anymore as you all know what I do, I will swap to another nicknames.
I hope some of you liked it, and if you did not I loved it.

Take care and see me in another suit.

Paycon is without a doubt one of the top coins out there!!

Vegas

Completely, it's the best of the best.

Currently we have a few projects on the go, I am working on adding Multi-Send backend to replace Stake For Charity, Websites, and some promo stuff. Going to need to replace the twitter as that was managed by el_manager but he has been absent for quite some time now. Is there anyone that would want to manage the twitter? What ideas do you guys have in the most effective way to manage it?
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Exclusive Coin - Cryptsy/Bittrex, CAT bot, Loads of News! on: August 04, 2015, 10:37:25 PM
You guys should update the wallet a bit, maybe slow down the Block times so that the Blockchain doesn't grow so quickly, you should go full POS as well.

If anything you could update and add some new features, decide on a hardfork if needed.

I would like to know the opinion of Spoetnik. He is a legend too.

Yeah, where is Spoetnik? I miss his rants Sad
626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CONFIRMED! Leroy Fodor's stakeminers.com site is a scam! on: August 04, 2015, 01:19:32 PM
I think your Board of Investors is quite a good idea. I like helping out a bit free of charge and giving advice but can't really be a part of the Board of Investors as there would be little way of me being able to make scheduled meetings. Could you please get into the habit of spellchecking every post you make?

Yes, stakeminers was growing and getting so many requests for new coins so fast I wanted a way that we could form a group of us that could give more heads into the thinking process. you know the saying[,] 2 minds and all. Yes[,] In this thread I try my best to go back and edit them for spelling errors. Sorry about that.

I also think this is a great idea. It adds additional level of legitimacy and trust to the entire operation cause now there are several people involved in the entire operation.

In addition to having more than one mind making the decisions[,] I also wanted the BOI to represent a new level of legitimacy for us as well as take our system out of the box and offer investors the ability to not feel so powerless over their investment. It would be hard for me to invest a large amount of BTC if I could not have some kind of input on whats going on. SO[,] I didn't expect others to do it for me. I want StakeMiners to stand up taller than the rest and always try and do things that were never done. We have more plans to go along with this theme.

Translated: I will do my best to have 10 or fewer spelling and grammatical errors in my posts dedicated to espousing how I will try to do my best in making sure such is not the case. That said, trust me in handling any and all your investments in spite of the lies that Bruno has uncovered made my me in the past and no-so-distant past, e.g., my last post above which, by the way, doesn't make a lick of sense if you take the time to analyze it.

Yes because it is good to spellcheck posts so that people can understand you, what meaning do you mean by the saying?
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon™ HI POS - Upgrade - TOR - Themes - Features - 7/15, 2015 on: August 03, 2015, 11:05:42 PM
Regarding the question about staking orphans on the Pi or otherwise.

There are 2 types of staking - fixed block rewards and percentage based block rewards. The lengths can also differ between in perpetuity or for a fixed period. Orphans do seem to matter if you are mining POS of a fixed block reward for a fixed period, meaning that if you lose a block you have lost the coins and when the period expires you have lost out, although your weight seems to stay the same after an orphan meaning the chances are good that you will get a block soon after the orphan.

Based on visual observation orphans do not seem to matter with percentage based POS mining in perpetuity because if you miss one block your weight seem to stay the same and you will get that block reward or close to it with a next block soon after the orphan. Over time the POS reward has to add up to the coin design of a certain % per year. The last example is similar to closing your wallet for a week and opening it again for staking and then getting a large block reward to bring your POS rewards in line with the coin POS reward design. Since PayCon falls in the second category orphans do not really mind as long as you get a few blocks once in a while.

Thank you I will add the PI wallets to the OP, do you have an address I can send you some Coins?
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 03, 2015, 10:54:00 PM

It's not that Marcello is a glorified crack dealer, it's that he is using multiple accounts to keep you guys posting. Who do you think you've been arguing with? investors?

I actually don't believe its him and I'll tell you why: these half-wits had me as a mod in their IRC for a month before I finally left, all the while I was openly stating I felt this was a scam and no mining was taking place. The reason I was a mod? No one else in there could figure out how to set up an IRC with auto-ops, channel flags, set banmasks, etc.

I genuinely believe that some of the investors are so dumb and blind that it is them posting through these accounts. Marcelo knows he has such devout fanboys he doesn't have to do anything. I wish I could adequately surmise the level of ignorance of that group of people - it goes far beyond crypto and basic IT to fundamental lack of understanding of basic investment principles. That group of IRC clowns is the main set of actors behind the "so what you dumb fuck at least I'm getting paid."

I'd be less sad if I thought this was Marcelo himself. But it's his unofficial Kool-Aid drinkers, including one Chief Hero Asshat who, at least at the time, was bragging about using his SCC payouts to pay his bills instead of having an actual job. Of course this was in the "pre-hack" time...

I can't speak for all of the other accounts on here, but I personally am not Marcello. So Fuck you dumb fuck, at least I am getting paid!

Lies, that is totally something Marcello would say on an alt account.

Prove you are not Marcello.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 03, 2015, 06:57:00 PM

There must be an angel talking to your heard, dedicated to safe people from they're own decisions.

Figures that you would bring God into this. A moron using made up religious crap to defend criminal scams. You ever consider a career in politics?

Point #1: Multiple posts here have asked whether this is a safe, legit investment. If myself and a few others don't post the true facts, all that's here is bullshit from people like you who think SCC is an OK thing to have around.

Point #2: Marcelo is a glorified crack dealer. If I were trying to get a real crack dealer out of my neighborhood, it's not because I'm interested in saving crackhead souls. It's because I don't want a scummy ass crack dealer in my neighborhood because its a much nicer place to live without it.

Now go take a nice big hit of KHS and have some more religious hallucinations.

It's not that Marcello is a glorified crack dealer, it's that he is using multiple accounts to keep you guys posting. Who do you think you've been arguing with? investors?

personally i am against creating a new coin (as previously stated).

however i'm not against the idea of legends and hero group reviving a dead coin,. well thats more a win win., even help a few people that have been burnt rather then buring more pumping out new coins.

a cool coin to revive (ok tis not exactly dead), but is a good harmless fun coin that would suit the characters that often make up the legendary/hero pool of people around here; doubloons pirate currency Wink

Why ? So a new crop of bag holders can be had ?

You craptsy schmucks are pathetic.

I dont know what the hell cryptsy did to piss you off so much. But I do find it odd you think some our biggest protestors are our fans

Looking through your feedback history you label 3 people who are generally anti cryptsy as cryptsy shills  Roll Eyes

Whatever it is likely isnt worth trying to correct as you seem pretty set in your ways. If I had to guess your either spoetnik or BBmodBB

And for the record. Kelsey has been a user of cryptsy for a long time. But generally thinks every decision we make is wrong lol

well i've been openly critical of cryptsy on many an occasion, but don't take that personally  Wink guess i'm more vocal when i am not in favor of something then when i am.

hippie tech is not spoetnik, spoetnik is a friend of mine and would not infer that i'm a cryptsy shill.

I have seen Cryptsy do a fair bit of stuff that has cost many users funds for their own personal gain. I think it's going to bite them in the ass for not doing their due diligence on the PayCoin $20 floor, accepting the prime controller key and keeping it listed for fees and stake generated despite all the massive red flags.

Help!
my con wallet is broke, when I start it this comes up

MinGW Runtime Assertion

Assertion failed!

Program:
c:\Users\PayCon-qt-win-2-0-0\PayCon-qt.exe
File:src\kernel.cpp, Line 429

Expression: pindex->pprev || Pindex->GetBlockHash()==
(!fTestNet?hashGenesisBlock:hashGenesisBlockTestNet)

Have you run the wallet before? or had previous versions?

yes, been running CON for ages

I'm not sure the root of it off hand, this is the piece it is referring to as the Stake modifier.

// Get stake modifier checksum
unsigned int GetStakeModifierChecksum(const CBlockIndex* pindex)
{
    assert (pindex->pprev || pindex->GetBlockHash() == (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet));
    // Hash previous checksum with flags, hashProofOfStake and nStakeModifier
    CDataStream ss(SER_GETHASH, 0);
    if (pindex->pprev)
        ss << pindex->pprev->nStakeModifierChecksum;
    ss << pindex->nFlags << pindex->hashProofOfStake << pindex->nStakeModifier;
    uint256 hashChecksum = Hash(ss.begin(), ss.end());
    hashChecksum >>= (256 - 32);
    return hashChecksum.Get64();
}

It will fix the problem to move your wallet out of your roaming folder, delete the Blockchain and resync and then once fully synced, to replace the empty wallet with the one containing your balance. I'll update the bootstrap and full Blockchain downloads when I wake up, is there anything you did differently?
thanks for that.
I was kind of hoping to not have to re-download the blockchain.
The only change I made was to not have Paycon start at login.

Oh well it shouldn't be too bad, I've made a current copy of the Blockchain in a zip file along with a PayCon.conf file containing current .onion nodes, just make sure you add an RPC username and password to the .conf file.

635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 03, 2015, 09:21:43 AM
Most of the newbie accounts defending Scrypt.cc are just admin trolling his own thread talking about how much profit this one or that one made so it keeps everyone engaged and people posting on the thread. If you have 5 or 6 accounts regularly posting and calling people out then you will also get a few people who will start following the mob mentality and invest because they think people are actually making profit off of it but they aren't, atleast 60% of the accounts posting defending Scrypt.cc are one person.

First real truth I've heard from admin yet.

So ur all upset, done my job for the day.
Good night

PS: I never have invested in scrypt, I was just pissing you guys of. All a said I have was also a joke. I do this because it's fun.  Grin

EDIT: and this is just one of my accounts, I have a few more ha ha ha
636  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 03, 2015, 08:41:22 AM
It was not a scam

... says you, in the face of overwhelming evidence in this thread.

Authorities needs to build cases? Cases they do not need to be built: they exist or they do not exist.
Why are you trying to justify authorities having nothing in their hands?!?

A strong case for securities fraud exists with the Paycoin scheme.

Homero Joshua Garza already had a default judgement of $346,746.29 for scamming his power company - Mississippi Power Company v. GAW Miners, LLC

Where am I "trying to justify" that authorities have nothing on their hands ? Quite the contrary. It's right there in this thread if you read from the beginning.

The Federal legal system moves slowly to build cases. See Federal Trade Commission v. BF Labs, Inc. et al for example.

The one thing that keeps sticking in my mind, is what if there was never an SEC investigation. It seemed Josh was always quick to threaten people

that the reason he can't do stuff is the SEC are watching. What if he was just using this to scare people when it was never actually an issue? This

could be possible right?

SEC investigation exists because of the number of credit card chargebacks against his failed cloudmining scheme that promised to always be profitable and when it wasn't and no one received their hardware but instead were forced to receive hashpoints in which they could convert for much less. There is also the charity 9/11 rememberme hashlets, false advertising (claiming direct partnerships), withholding customers funds within PayBase, the $20 floor which was guaranteed (which makes it securities fraud) and then evidence of selling directly into the market while simultaneously encouraging people to buy based on false promises (such as Coinstand). Then you can also count the power company case that was defaulted on, the ongoing lawsuit with more than 500 participants, and another dozen or so smaller scams.

You think a thread with 41,700 replies, 1.3 million views, more than 30 additional threads along with several dozen major news articles has not tipped off the authorities in any way whatsoever?

I get orphans from time to time as well however I turned off notifications for several of my coins so I will not get any notifications and this has helped tremendously not just with con but just about all my coins.I dont know if that is really an issue but It has helped.

Anyone know how to disable them on a PI?

I'm not sure I haven't used a PI but I want to. AngelLox is the guy to talk to, he is super good at building on the PI and has the most experience there.

People still defending this Ponzi scheme I see.

A guy promoting Scam/Paycoin is definitely not in the position for such a statement.

Crawl back into your cave, troll.

It's PayCon [CON], you control your own funds and not put it in the hands of someone else.

It's worth 10 times what it was 6 months ago so much more profitable and being a Blockchain and all, also fully verifiable. I'll keep doing real stuff, and you keep defending a scam site that can't verify it's mining/rewards/payouts and we'll call it a day. I would probably take you atleast a little more seriously if you posted on other threads than just Scrypt.cc saying about how wonderful it is..... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=532019;sa=showPosts
