Despite from having bitcoin in its name, this article has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin.
It's basically some self proclaimed "reporter" whining about haw he got scammed with e-gold.
He isn't even bother to inform himself about bitcoin.
The right name for this article would be "How I got scammed with e-gold and now thing every internet thing is a scam"
Really not worth reading (I want my 5 minutes back!)

Hi giantdragon, small question here, any idea why my visitors get this error when clicking on links converted automatically by coinurl script? Fatal error: Call to undefined function dbmainconnect() in /home7/bitlatsl/public_html/coinurl.com/data/userinfo.php on line 130 The script is installed correctly, but they don't get to see the content when I enable it, only a blank page with this error. Thanks Please provide an URL to the page where this script installed and error appears. The other apps are fine. Music, pics, and docs were preserved. Even the Bitcoin Spinner app was there, but the balance showed 0.00000000BTC. Phone is not rooted.
No, what I really meant is if the other apps seemed like they've been installed recently with no personal info or settings. I asked you that for a very good reason, to find out if the upgrade did some wipes to local app storage, as spinner doesn't store the keys in other places. The best thing you can do right now is take out the SIM and find another phone for daily use. Find a guy who know how to deal with rooting the damn thing so he can recover the keys, hope spinner makes some backups like the Shilbach's wallet. |

This is starting to sound more like the society our grand-grandfathers lived in, and I'm seeing it with my own eyes. I could not agree more with this way of solving the issues, feel like having it "programmed" in my genes or something, but we have to tackle the physical presence issue at some point. |

WOW! There's always one like you on any forum. Please note, I'm asking for help recovering my BTC, and not for analysis of how "cut out" for bitcoin one is. How affluent I am, and how I use my funds is is my own personal choice. I'm not independently wealthy but loosing $2200 would not put an idea in my head to destroy the walls in my house. I guess some of us are doing better then others, but then again who am I to say anything. I'm just a guy requesting help ...
BTW: Insensitive comments tend to make people loose faith in community. That coupled with loss of funds might drive not only me but other investors out of the bitcoin realm.
On behalf of the bitcoin community we apologize for Aahzman remarks!  +1 don't mind comments like those. Regarding your issue, have you noted erased settings in other apps? Is your phone rooted? |
