For Dogie, regarding my issue,
I have power cycled, rebooted, checked connections, reset to defaults, reloaded firmware,, and still cant seem to get these chips to pop up,,
out of the 11 that we have this is the only issue. we have 9 more on the way, should get them today!
RMA time. I also need to RMA an S4 with a dead hash board. What's the quickest, most painless way to RMA? Bitmain China, Bitmain USA? I've spent the weekend troubleshooting it, and it's 100% fucked. I don't feel like screwing around sending emails back and forth with bitmain while they ask me to go through troubleshooting steps which I've already done multiple times. I'm also getting a little pissed that they are ignoring me when it comes to the compensation they owe me, but have already paid others. Emailing Yoshi has been useless, he's also ignoring me.

Thanks for posting all of this. If I can make a suggestion: Plug the 2 extra PCI-e connectors on the S3. I know that they are undervolted + underclocked, and that they don't need them, but you will be delivering current to 24 pins instead of 12. Won't change anything for the PSU wires, but you'll reduce the stress on the 2 plugged PCI-e connectors by half. BTW, that PSU is a total beast. You can run it all out 24/7 in 50c ambient without it breaking a sweat. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=349

We have Qty 48 $400 off coupons for Bitmain S4's expiring on 2014-11-30 22:18:00 that we will probably not use. Anybody interested in these should email admin@planetcrypto.comWe would like to sell these coupons for .25 BTC each. Best regards, PlanetCrypto Of course you'd like to sell your 48 coupons for 12 BTC, but here, on Earth, you can just ask bitmain for coupons and they will add them to your account for free.

Looks like lady luck is paying us a visit.

Got 2 more S4s in today, and both have issues. Will post more details tomorrow.

I'm assuming there is no issue with stacking S4s? Or would running them vertical (PSU intake side up) be preferable?
They have rack mount ears--they are designed to be mounted in a DC horizontally. What I meant was stacking them directly on top of each other, without a cabinet supporting the weight of each unit.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll try it later.
Any luck getting 4.7.0 to work properly?

I haven't, but hope to see some form of extraterrestrial life within my lifetime. I'd be happy with the discovery of bacteria somewhere in our solar system. Here's hoping we explore Europa or Titan someday.

Nice, what clocks for 10 MH/s?

S4 1 has an "x" chip, thus it's lower speed. S4 3 is hotter because it's still in my house, going to bring it out to the garage later.
40C so hot *mumbles* LOL Do you mind If I ask why, it takes at least 6 months of 24x7 mining just to break even.

We sure could use some good luck. Everybody get their good luck charms. Indeed.

Just got my 3rd S4 in, waiting on 2 more. All mining on P2Pool. S4 1 has an "x" chip, thus it's lower speed. S4 3 is hotter because it's still in my house, going to bring it out to the garage later.
