Juventus chance qualifying to next round quite heavy behind 5 points left from PSG and Benfica, actually if win from Benfica and PSG still not guarantee qualifying to next round depending with Benfica vs Maccabi Haifa and PSG vs Maccabi Haifa matches. Juventus can get 9 points maximum if want 2 match later but Benfica can get 11 points although loss from Juventus but can win from Maccabi Haifa in the last match. Juventus really need help from Maccabi Haifa to win at one of two match left between PSG or Benfica. In Group H, PSG and Benfica both have a good chance of qualifying for the next round in my opinion. Juventus' chances are getting smaller to qualify following their poor performance with 1 win and 3 losses in 4 matches. So only a miracle made Juventus qualify because Benfica only needed a draw to secure a ticket in the next 2 matches. In several other groups, the competition between 4 teams to qualify is still very tense, specially in Group D, Group E or Group C. In Group C, Barcelona and Inter will be fighting for 1 ticket while Bayern Munich are already safe to qualify. But regarding the other two groups, all teams still have a chance to qualify if they manage to get 6 points in the next 2 matches. |

The interesting thing is that neither Real Madrid nor Barcelona are allowed to make a mistake. Ajax vs PSG. We certainly know who is the favourite, but anyway I don't know for sure what the result will be. PSG are without Neymar in this match, but Mbappe and Messi are in the line-up which is complemented by Carlos Seler. Ramos is also not in the line-up and on the substitutes list, so that has earned Mukiele a place at centre-back.
PSG have been in excellent form in their last 11 matches without defeat, 29 goals scored and only conceded 5 goals so far. If PSG win today, then it will be their 10th win of the season. Sorry, maybe you meant Ajaccio, of course it wasn't Ajax. PSG won, Messi scored 1 goal and 2 assists for Mbappe. To be honest it was an easy match for PSG, but that's not the case and I just want to say that the collaboration between Messi and Mbappe in this match was great. Without Neymar in fact no problem, PSG appeared without much burden to win 3 points from Ajaccio. Ajaccio is almost without a chance at home because PSG really managed to dominate the match well. Consistent progress at Manchester United and the last seven games resulted in six wins and a draw against Newcastle who do have a strong and solid defense, which makes it difficult for Manchester United to score goals and also a good Newcastle goalkeeper.

It was something you could call a perfect game from Manchester United, tbh they dominated the game from the first whistle till the very last one, i'm pretty sure Erik Ten Hag will be delighted with his boys, Spurs isn't a small team, so to keep all their star players like Kane and Son in check for the entire 90 minutes, and limiting them to little or no chances was excellent from Manchester United's point of view. Conte loves to use the counter attack strategy to hit teams unaware, but he has to come up with something better, especially against the big clubs, because that sytle will fail against clubs that hold possession well and are clinical in front of goal.
Having said that, the win gives Manchester United a lift before their crunch encounter in the weekend away to Chelsea. Chelsea didn't do so well against Brentford, so they'll be looking to bounce back against Manchester United, it would be exciting to watch, i'll predict a win for Manchester United in this one.
Manchester United looked very good in that match, and I think it will be a good boost to expect them to do better in the next match. I'm not always sure about Manchester United's performance, but in an important match like against Tottenham they really managed to keep their record. Good work from Fred and Bruno Fernandez, they both scored goals for Manchester United's victory in that match. Now it's good to look forward to Manchester United against Chelsea at the weekend. Of course I don't think it will be easy for Manchester United and Chelsea, but I hope both can keep me entertained throughout the match. Chelsea certainly won't want to drop points and 3rd place in the table, so we'll see a great match later. |

I am trying to grow good posters, teaching them how to write good posts and rewarding them for their efforts. 50 merit for a good poster are normal and they may not be as happy as a poster trying to improve the quality of post even if it only gets 1 merit. There is a lot of motivation that can be grown through the merit system, I can really see a lot of them starting to care about the quality of their posts, especially when I review the posts reported in your other thread. I think Liverpool's victory was lucky, especially in the last game recently. In addition to Liverpool's efforts and good defense against Manchester City strikers, Liverpool were really lucky with Salah's goal. First, Manchester City scored but cancelled, second Salah was almost substituted but cancelled, and all of that happened before Salah scored. I don't want to defend blue_hurricanger's opinion, but these are my assumptions about the match. If you go back into the match then I think Manchester City were really good the whole match except when Salah got away from the defenders. |
