1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: November 13, 2022, 01:31:24 PM
👏
England wins the T20 World Cup 2022!
👏

England won @1.60.

It was a low total from Pakistan, compared to what they should have taken, but still it required England to bat at their best and they delivered even though Buttler did not perform miracles again and their batters weren't having the best of days.

Pakistan picking an injured Afridi was the worst mistake of the entire match. They actually made such good progress up to that point, then England and Ben Stokes took advantage of the momentum swing to finish off strong with a half century! His first ever for T20 and he will remember it for a lifetime!

Congratulations to England and to LFC_Bitcoin for the win. Next up is World Cup (Football!!).

I saw a lot of people talking about betting here, but so few people actually did, duh! So here is my final T20 to make up for so many losses I made lol.

Amazing, I’m really happy England did it. Commiserations to Pakistan, you did your country proud.

Ben Stokes is a true warrior, an absolute legend which reminds me. I’d like to crown you as a Legendary Member for all your high quality posting & great work throughout the whole tournament.

+ 14 Merit

Enjoy !

I lost so much money in the last few months through buying stupid NFT's which are worth almost zero now, having ETH on Celsius which went bankrupt, and now losing the rest of my ETH, SOL on FTX... NEVER AGAIN! This is the day I convert my remaining crypto to Bitcoin!

You're clearly taking the piss

It’s a viral tweet getting C&P.

Let’s be more concerned about contagion & see what happens. I hope the bottom is in but doubt it tbh, more to come imo.

Thanks for that, Steve. A real blockbuster of a weekend of sport. I’m really looking forward to it. My little bet is still on, England to win the cricket AND football World Cups. First leg of that double this Sunday & I really think they are going to do it.

Last games before the World Cup tomorrow. LFC vs Southampton, really hoping we can sign off with 3 points. I am fed up of beating the likes of Man City, Napoli, Spurs but then losing to really awful teams like Leeds & Nottingham Forest. It must be an attitude thing with the players, you can not beat the first 3 teams I mentioned but then lose to the utter dross of the league. The players have got complacent, just hope we can win tomorrow before a good break. Lots of our players are not going to the World Cup so it could be good for us.

Hey guys,

What a night for crypto yesterday! I believe most of you around here keep your BTC or other currencies in your wallets anyway. But what do you think about the impact of this?

-Karl

Yet another lesson to keep your stash in cold storage. It’s sad that people get burnt like this but leaving your stash in the control of a third party is always asking for trouble.

I managed to buy a nice amount at $16,1xx last night. Withdrawn from Coinbase straight away & into a device that only I can access Smiley

Regarding the demise of FTX, it’ll hurt the industry short term but we will recover & see new ATH’s within 3 years. I’ve been heavily involved in bitcoin since 2014, this is nothing we haven’t seen before, just a minor speed bump on the route to global mainstream adoption Smiley

England won @2.04!

Totally deserved from the English teams who managed to keep their starting batters all the way past 100, magnificent Alex Hales getting 7 sixes before Buttler caught up, even the captain put up such a respectable show to make an easy 150 partnership.

That sets up an amazing final showdown between Pakistan and England. I'll post the betting markets here when they are up closer to the match itself on Sunday!

@LFC_Bitcoin you never know!

170/0

Really quite incredible, not a single wicket lost. I just hope they can get over the line now & be one champions. One more win, just one more.

SBF reported missing and presumed to be evading authorities.

Time to pop some corn, gentlemen.

If anybody is in a bad place & needs to talk, feel free to PM me.
Any idea how much lower it may go?

I don’t see us going below $10,000.
Maybe final capitulation wick to $12,000 - $14,000 & then slow recovery to $20,000 within 6 months. Probably track low $20,000’s sideways until the halving then.

No fireworks until 2025, we are in a recession. Average Joe can’t afford to put fuel in his car & food on the table due to the cost of living, recession due to the plandemic fall out.

Still, $150,000+ in late 2025.

HODL

Lots of us gladly buying this dip, sowing seeds for generational profits in 3 or more years. Some here will be in a bad way, having not sold any in 2021 & struggling to pay bills etc due to the current climate.

We all enjoy a good laugh, ‘who gon’ mindrust’ but this is real life. Just keep HODLING, do not sell in panic. We are going to $150,000 or more in 2025. Please don’t panic, lots of us have been in this situation in previous bear markets. It’ll be fine, relax, turn the screen off & get away from charts. Bitcoin will recover & reach new ath’s.

If anybody is in a bad place & needs to talk, feel free to PM me.

Capitulation is close, maybe in the next couple of days.

Looking for the cycle bottom at around $14,000.

Just bought some at $16,1xx

I’m wondering if England are going to do it this time. Something just tells me it might be their year. Maybe I’m just being patriotic or something. I think a bet on an England cricket & England football team, World Cup winners double might make sense Wink

1678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you sell Bitcoin anonymously without getting scammed? on: November 09, 2022, 11:44:32 AM
Why are you so keen to do it anonymously? Is it because of tax avoidance or you live in a country where bitcoin is banned etc?

I understand the two reasons I listed but anything else it’s better to conduct your transactions on a reputable exchange.
1679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 09, 2022, 09:55:58 AM
Got to admit I'm getting a bit sick of these dramas in the "crypto space" and their effect on BTC. FTX may have been wiped out but my concern is Alameda hasn't completely liquidated yet, and then whoever else lent to them and so on. I'm hoping for a bottom and that things have already been cleaned out, but, I will not be surprised if this drama is not over yet.

How anybody could still support anything other than BTC right now is beyond me.

Contagion is yet to play out, you’re right in suggesting a potential domino effect. I have a stack of fiat waiting. I still think this goes lower. Who or what entity is next to get REKT? What odds on it being Saylor?
1680  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 08, 2022, 09:58:10 AM
Looks like we may get to buy cheap bitcoin soon after all. The situation with FTX does not look good at all. It has LUNA written all over it. $20,000 is cheap but we might get the chance to buy cheaper in the next week or so, something to keep an eye on.

It’s all a moot point long term though, it won’t matter if you bought at $15,000 or $50,000. We are going to $100,000+ before 2026.
