1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: March 16, 2017, 02:26:36 PM
Gambling in my opinion will help you in life with money (if you win) and that is why most people gamble, because they want to profit and need the extra money to purchase items.
If you think like this, then you are wrong. Gambling will not give you extra money to buy items. It will make you lose your extra money in gambling. And sometimes you will lose your hard work money also. Don't think that gambling will give you profit. It is just a game. And you will get only fun not returns. You need extra money then try to earn with other methods.
i guess everyone know already about the consequence , they know by experienced by themselves gambling always make you broken heart , make you feel so bad. but they are stubborn due the addiction have take control over yourself. not really much you can do , just praying your action to gamble like a mad recently didn't make you got bankrupt and poor, gambling really have no benefit at all when you want to do it in the long run.
1682  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 16, 2017, 02:15:14 PM
Bitcoin cannot easily steal from you and even cannot be deprive from you.
Bitcoin can make your life at ease and safe.
those people who don't know yet about technology , or non computer savvy might would found bitcoin more complicated and not even safe for them. a little example when so far there's a lot of people used third party wallet which basically the company holding your privat key which means they can run with your money anytime. it's simple and basic knowledge actually but still a lot of people don't know yet about this kind things.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: March 16, 2017, 01:59:57 PM
I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol
It means you are strong enough in gambling life
at least you're not asking people how to stop doing that
Wow! that's a huge amount of loses of money.  You had a lot of money where you can afford to lose it, Grin
Isn't called really addicted into gambling? Well, anyway you do it because of addiction that's the bottom line of it, I guess you better do something to stop yourself in it before its too late. Smiley
as long as you can afford to lose on whatever amount you stake in gambling , i think it's shouldn't be a big deal. 1 bitcoin 10 bitcoin even 100 bitcoin or more. not something new if then the most problem that a lot of people got when they committed to gambling but act like an under age who never gamble responsibly.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: March 15, 2017, 11:54:00 PM
After a while musing, I think I will still do gamble even though if I got a bunch of money in my pocket. This is become my hobby nowadays and I can't leave it even for a single day. And for sure, if money won't be a problem in my life, I can get high degree of satisfaction from gambling since I could play it with huge amounts of money.
lol you don't have to take a musing or something as gambling are addictive you would have guaranteed to make a comeback to gamble under any conditions. so you just have to take a look for anticipation whether you would really spend the money while you have no problem earn money? having fun through gambling aren't the best answer , better to pay high for someone who could pull you out from gambling addiction.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 15, 2017, 11:32:45 PM
There is no way one would have been involved in gambling and will not attach some level of superstition to it. Even the luck that we all talk about as a reason for winning in gambling to me is superstition because how do one that is lucky today becomes unlucky tomorrow. How does one determine that? There is no way it wont be attached to something, maybe I woke up right, maybe the person I spoke to, or the the guy that advise me and the likes. One way or the other, superstition is involved.

Yet some people think some reason when they win from gambling. They want to repeat that experience so they think of something what made them lucky on that day. They think that made them lucky and try to repeat it the next day expecting they would win again but they don't realize it won't happen from gambling. I never see a person that wins consecutively in gambling.

I have seen people winning consecutively in gambling specially poker games.  There are rare cases in Dice and slots.  Though this guy never had any ritual before playing, they just do the usual stuff.  So this scenario means, that people wins or loses no matter what they do before they play gambling games.  And I am no fun of superstitious belief.
supertitions/myths are something that you shouldn't rely/believe on. it's actually have no relation and effect to the game outcome. people believe on something like that due they have got stressed enough and looking for justification. they want to keep gambling under that supertition as they feel it's comfortable , well it's fine. just never go for fully believe.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: March 15, 2017, 11:15:33 PM
Definitely recommend you Invest in something before you gamble that same money away. There's many "Safe" investments out there for one to invest in. However, gambling is all luck. At least if you invest, you got a better chance to make something out of that same money.
Aiming for money by doing both will give you a disaster, gambling and investing are two different things and they have different level of risk.
If you are good in gambling then definitely gambling is for you as you can become a professional and make a living in gambling, however it's apparent to us that the success rate in gambling are relatively low, therefore it's better to choose investment for lesser risk and better chance of success.
your investment would be useless when you decide to keep continue gambling. the whole profit you get from investment in the end would be used to gamble right? so , would be better to stay away from gambling , and go for investment just like what warren buffet did, become rich through a small investment at first time when he was younger.
1687  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTS BOOK RANKINGS ~ COMPLETELY USER GENERATED on: March 15, 2017, 11:05:11 PM
Hello everyone, all votes have been updated until this post.
As you can see in the opening post, I've changed things a bit, to make the rankings more accurate.
For a SportsBook to be added to the rankings, they will have to reach at least 5 votes. That number will increase as we get more votes.

For transparency reasons, I used the second post of this thread, to keep only the sportsbooks that are still bellow the minimum number of votes.
how about create a logs in the second post? to make it more transparent  Huh

i vote for directbet 4 , it has the fastest payout , we never worry about not getting paid, but they has very poor lines.
sportsbet.io 2 , i got unsolved problem with them and in the end i decide to leave forever to not play with them anymore.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: March 15, 2017, 10:56:21 PM
But if we consider gambling just a luck game (98% luck game), any strategy will lead us to the bankrrupcy, no?

Martingale or any other method you use to bet, sooner or later you will lose your balance, on long term it's impossible to beat the house. Sometimes one or another gambler claims to win on long term, but I'm not really sure about this.
The fact is you cannot measure your luck and you cannot even determine when it will stay when you feel you are lucky, when luck comes to us we should know that it's only temporary and that is why sometimes we win if we are discipline too. Martingale is a from of bankroll management and like any other forms, it will not help you to win but your ability to select games and predict it right most of the time will.

you don't need to measure your luck to be able to win. you just need to be lucky and have luck on your side.
and in martingale system you can never have luck on your side because you are playing against the house with a house edge and that means the edge is giving your luck to the house instead and makes them win specially in the long run.
i don't get it , what do you mean about the edge is giving your luck to the house? it's clearly luck just an illusion that can't proven it's existence it's just my opinion by the way, and also pretty clear that martingale have been studied would never work with the limited bankroll , it's means there's no way you can get profit with this martingale betting system.
with a huge bankroll and patience to keep it little even you are tempted to try much bigger stake will allow you to extend your chances to earn some profits, but like what many said its luck that will make you a huge one, and most of the time even you really try it hard martingale will still fails you if you dont know when to stop.
huge bankroll still has a limit , so it would still never work to earn profit . at some point you got a losing streaks and that time the whole bankroll you have just gone in a couple seconds, martingale betting system was never ever be a good strategy it's even the worst strategy to sucks your money faster in regret. even you know when to stop , when you do martingale continuously in the next days , it's useless.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 15, 2017, 10:49:00 PM
The diffrerence of bitcoin and money is its trading. In bitcoin you can only trade it onlone or the means of modeen technology. On the other hand money is a physical trading which means you have to bring this certain amount to buy a necessity or needs. It is both the means of giving out an amount but it differs in its process.

Well in bitcoin we can trade it offline if you know the person that you'll trade with your coins. Otherwise, they are the same that way but depending on situation but most of the time bitcoin is being trade by people who doesn't know who they are trading to. And that's the best difference of these two, bitcoin = digital, fiat=physical.

True bitcoin can be exchange anytime any where i have friend who b uy it from me every month he want to stake 0.1 btc in wallet as his ensurance found. I have some local dealers that i know that do the same with some 5% fee, so both are in one way money or mean to pay/purchase some good or something else.

In the way of things but this is good both are good both are used and bitcoin will be future of everything in next several years.
but still there only few merchants accept bitcoin already as their payment processor compared to cash/real money it's indeed far better. but you can't do it of course. real money regulated by the government and it's sucks for those people who want a fully freedom. when bitcoin ruled by you and noone else . it's make bitcoin looks better with this reason.

That's good for those merchants actually they are not just accepting bitcoin for the payments but I'm pretty sure that most of them has an option for accepting fiat. We know that many hates on how the government works and I can say that bitcoin will be the best currency for us that wants to avoid bigger fees and taxation.
bitcoin are a form of next money generation, used globally anywhere , noone rule you out , just you! the money concept of bitcoin are a breakthough a lot of people who know well about technology would of course support bitcoin. the problem are only on a traditional people who so hard to accept a new thing a new technology on financial.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: March 15, 2017, 10:39:41 PM
create income continuously in gambling can indeed make your activity becomes better. in addition, you can also practice how to control themselves from gambling. but, all the risks are inversely proportional to the advantage that you can.

From all my experiences , I can tell that there is no way to get profit no matter how many experience that we have. I have been gambling for years however that doesnt really make me a better gambler. In fact I still lose and sometimes win depends on how my luck goes so everything is still depends on luck
yeah basically gambling can only rely on luck , having a strategy to make money steady in the long run through gambling seems like a tough job. it's a -EV , and you have to make it profitbale , really you can't do it easily. i agree that the only thing can save your ass from losing and get a winning streak are your luck, a lot of knowledge in sportsbetting and tons of experience in poker still wouldn't guarantee you anything.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: March 14, 2017, 11:55:29 PM
Not easy. It takes a lot of discipline, luck and knowledge of the odds.

Why do we need such descipline in a gambling acrivity? All we need is luck and knowledge, discipline is out of it. maybe what you are saying is control, like when to stop and to continue gambling.
yeah i guess he means about to stick to the rules, to the goal you have set . stop whenever you crossed the limit and stop whenever you got a profit target. i just still doubt anyone could make it profitable for long time , even win the discipline, bankroll management etc. i was believe on it before , but now i have got terrible experience gambling in the long run , really doubt someone could always turn it's profitable.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 14, 2017, 11:45:50 PM
Yes, I can probably stop when I want to... most of the time Wink

When you stop, for how long are you able to stay away from it before you come back to gamble? I want to know because it you seem to suggest a short time frame whereby you lose go and come back after perhaps you reload your bankroll or when you feel like trying again.
actually it's all just same thing , when you decide to stop gamble for a while but then continue it later (means you gamble for long term) it won't work makes you profitable . so just leave gambling forever once you got a super big prize , don't make any comeback or you would have full of regret just what i have done in 2016 i have 5 bitcoin profit in my calculation but things gone wild and i got zero profit now in my bankroll.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 14, 2017, 11:33:47 PM
There are many different situations and aspects for bitcpin to die. First one when all bitcoins are mined : Now we all know bitcoin has a supply limit so after all bitcoins are mined people will start selling their coins as price growth will be low and mostly by 2060 it will be over.
Other thing that can happen is countries banning the use of bitcoin or actually holding any coins or in online wallets.

i'm not sure with your statement, even though the whole bitcoin has been mined which estimated in the next 100 years not 50 or 40 years. miner would always needed to proccess the transaction , so it's not the reason bitcoin gonna die, things could make bitcoin die and disappear are when there's no interest in bitcoin due too high fee and too long confirmation proccess for example.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 14, 2017, 11:22:29 PM
Whether you believe if you Continuously Buying The same number, one day you can win the lottery. there i read some stories much people can being rich by using this way.
i tried this already stay in your own group of number for a long time but i still not be rich but sometimes i am hitting 4 and 5 digit which it has few winning price.. but hitting jackpot price still not..
Maybe only few lucky person that actually can hit that jackpot price. that they are stay for too long..
if you are a mathematician , you might would know how low your chance doing that. nearly impossible , it's indeed lottery 100% about luck nothing more. when you do keep sticking on the same number for years it could be the winning number are on the same number too for years , lottery are crazy sometimes make people keep believing on something even non sense.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: china will no longer able to control bitcoin market??? on: March 14, 2017, 11:13:39 PM
Possible or not if bitcoin users increase, china will no longer able to control bitcoin market. i see china market always try to dump the price even other exchange want to the price keep rising

China is no longer relevant

Not that it was relevant before but many people (me included) somehow believed that it had been the case. It was thought that Chinese exchanges with their huge volumes had been setting price reference points for other Bitcoin exchanges out there. The actions of the PBoC have quickly debunked these myths and eliminated such illusions or beliefs if there were any. I suspect that the Central bank of China itself didn't expect Bitcoin to be as resilient and robust as it turned out to be
I think it's not only controled by China markets rules, but other people who trade this cryptocurrency also involved to change the price of it. And we don't know the % value of countries who mostly or less make this value
In fact china is not going to hold and control bitcoin any more, and to me the only reason is that the users of bitcoin are increasing not only in China but in all over the world.
the reason why a lot of people accusing china could manipulate the market are because of the 51% attack , as currently biggest bitcoin mining companies are come from china. just as simple as like that . Antpool , DiscusFish , BTC china pool and BW pool got half of the whole bitcoin mining around the world. no wonder people keep telling china are controlling the market .
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 14, 2017, 11:01:32 PM

Gambling is not wrong. does anyone forces you to gamble? no. you gamble on your own, trying to make some money. greediness is wrong.

Everyone that gamble is greedy . If people are not greedy then there is almost no point to keep on gambling, why bother anyway. Greedy is part of human's nature and there is nothing wrong with that. The fact that everyone wants more salary means that he is greedy enough so I dont see what is wrong with that
If you want more salary work more, why risk your hard earned money to make small profit?
many folks like to gamble not because of greed but for fun, to relax themselves, for passing time.

I agree if those people who gamble wants more salary then why they keep on gambling repetitively. And that is also another thing which is very wrong, when you think that you can get salary in gambling, then that's actually very wrong. We know that it is not a good source of making money then why treat it that way?
If it’s for fun and you do it occasionally then there is not harm about it, but if you do it for an income like some people do then it is wrong, if you do the math of how much they win and how much they lose they will find that they have wasted a lot, a money that they could invest in something useful.

There are proffesional poker player and you know why are they called like that? because they make profit from poker and they are good at it. he thing about gambling is pretty much black and white therefore when we actually know that we cant really win , there will always be someone that is lucky enough to win huge amount
but still those people who keep getting a win in gambling and make it as their income are still few , mostly gone wild lost everything rather than get a win in the long run. so i wouldn't take it as a parameter whether gambling are the right way to make money or even for the sake of having fun. idk , but the truth are people always consider gambling as a wrong thing..
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: March 14, 2017, 10:42:55 PM
Well i don't have any big rule or sign when to stop. I usually stop gambling when i either lost everything  what i deposited, or when i win much. Of course i will always stop when i am bored of gambling for that day. Looks like i don't have any rule, but i don't feel like i am addicted to gambling.
Well i think in your case you gamble for entertainment purpose which is actually good as there is a very less chance of
you getting addicted to gambling. But i feel you should set some sort of goal because if you are actually aiming for profit
then it will help to you stop at the right time.
just because you gamble for entertainment, doesn't mean you won't get addicted. there's no guarantee for anyone would free from that deadly disease. but at least as long as you always in control no matter in what kind situation especially when you get heated want to recover the losses. as it was the most case people start getting an addiction.
Well its just a the same addiction like addicted in cigarette that very hard to stop or quit and if you are trying to not gamble maybe next day it can trigger you to gamble more in the next time you gamble..
Willingness are needed plus psychiatrist that i think it can help you to stop your addiction and vacation is one of the good way to forgot in the short time..
yeah people should have a gamble addiction healing program from the professional to handle this situation, almost impossible for anyone to do quit and stop gamble alone. you need a lot of support as any addiction are actually about mental illness, stop gamble temporarily won't work to avoid you from addiction indeed, it won't provide you a profit in the long run too.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: March 13, 2017, 11:38:28 AM
step dad when i was younger couldnt keep himself out of a casino as soon as he got paid, if you cant control it def a sickness, i work in a casino people gamble just to gamble, to them when they have the chips in there hand its not even money to them anymore its crazy. I gamble but im a very controlled gambler i dont lose my paycheck when i gamble.
lookslike your whole life full of gambling story isn't it? no wonder you know very well how to gamble properly (i hope so) , gambling without have an awareness would lead everyone into something non sense , act crazy while on the table but then full of regret after the game and realize he just did something crazy , the loop between gamble like a mad and regret in the end of the game are sure make gambling turn to a sickness.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 13, 2017, 11:03:26 AM
Maybe I will start trading if I got huge amount of money from gambling. It seems good to do trading because trading considered as a legal and honorable activity. So, if someone asked me, what do you do while online? I can give him a good answer and no need to lie anymore.
Not a bad idea. The more you have the less risky methods you can choose. If I won like 2BTC, I'd invest in a casino, or try my luck in trading. If we're talking about something like 10BTC, I wouldn't even think about investing and focus on doing what I like, maybe look for a better job while my money are working for me. Big money can give you a nice profit from holding and it doesn't take your time nor require special skills.
i have won over 1 bitcoin several times and decide to bring the profit to my trading account , yet i lost half of it trade on dogecoin. trading not always safe and having less risk , especially in cryptocurrency trading , everything are really complicated and hard to predict. based on that experience you should looking for another option , or if you insist to do it an then go ahead and goodluck.

Trading is very risky if you just all in your money on a single crypto currency, Crypto's are well known for the volatility of price so it is nice a good idea if you just focus on a single currency that's why you lose too much, especially you invest on weak coin like doge. If you just spread your investment on different stable crypto like dash, eth, monero and others, you will not suffer great lose but it is another scenario if the price deflation of the currency you invest is affected of bitcoin price surge because all crypto's are affected on that scenario.
that's doesn't makes any sense . when you spread the money you have on a lot of altcoin but then the result just same , most of altcoin you hold are in crisis even scam? i only choose an altcoin that well known like dogecoin, litecoin and dash for example. and it's just my personal experience that trading crypto much more harder and have bigger risk than forex trading , so think twice about it.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 10, 2017, 12:57:05 PM
for my opinion bitcoin is currency very flexible for cross-border transactions in addition to the fee is smaller in the use bitcoin transaction, comparison with western union enormous costs for shipping between countries ..
so in my opinion better than the bitcoin holds cash if it is used for transactions between countries  Smiley
of course bitcoin flexible and inexpensive as in digital form instead of cash. I think there are many other advantages of bitcoin as the form of cash. That's why digital will be prioritized in the future
technology always come to help people's life better and easier , so do in digital money it's help how the transaction form work makes you able to send/receieve money anywhere and anytime really flexible . the problem are only when there some people who don't want even know about bitcoin and makes adoption grow so slow.
