1241  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: July 10, 2017, 10:39:58 PM
Risks everywhere are there, but some types of gambling are based only on luck and there will accordingly be more risks, because no skills will help. But in trade, after all, you can properly analyze the situation for a more stable profit.

Yes, even in skill-based gambling the end results still depend on luck because many times the strong teams have lost against the weak teams. So we can't always guess results based just their past performance. But in trading, if you can wait for the prices to go up and make a profit. I also choose trading is better than skill-based gambling.
It's based on luck but not solely, if you have a skill and your are lucky your chances of winning is really big.
That's why every gambler must learn how to improve their skills and do not rely only in luck if they want to stay longer.
skills in gambling works on certain games only , even it's still doubtful. poker always called as the most reliable game to begin career with and having profit from. i don't believe it. in the end everyone would lost in gambling no matter what.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried medicine to control impulsive gambling? on: July 10, 2017, 09:27:17 PM
I do gambling in 2013 through binary option and I know how risky it is but taking a medicine 💊 for gambling is what I have I don't knowledge.  I don't think for now they is no medicine to control one Emotions and impulsive but you can use Yogi or meditation for Emotional control during gambling.
when you come to a professional in gambling problem solver you might would get some treatment and also several medicine to boost your treatment. it's indeed there's no specific medicine exist/mentioned to completely have a big effect directly to your gambling addiction, i don't know what chemical composition there if exist  Huh  Roll Eyes .
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction. on: July 10, 2017, 09:18:39 PM
Why is someone get addicted to gambling once he gamble ?

They addicted because of money involve.  Once you enter into the gambling world your always looking for it and you were always trying to win more that cause of addiction. Gambling is fun for those people have more money and even they lost they were trying to seek a game.

well probably yes though not all the time. money has a lot to do woth why people get addicted to gambling as it is because of greed that they can't seem to get enough of it even though it's clear that they may lose everything. people's love of money leads them to a lot of bad decisions and gambling is one of them
So you are saying that money is the main reason why gambling becomes bad in some people? Because I really do agree with that, people needs money because if we don't have eat, we cannot buy our basic needs. Main reasons why we are working is because we want to earn for our family so they can give their needs like foods, clothes, and their education. We need to earn big so we can give what they need and also their wants at the same time. But sometimes gambling can also be a problem why many people are buried in debt.
Those person who do think that gambling can solve their money problems I can say that they are too dumb which they do strongly believe that gambling can give it to them, its possible but really on slim chances since it would really depend on luck, in the field on gambling luck is the biggest factor to win and we should never ever think that we do compromise our money to earn money just to cope up with your priorities.

Gambling is a business - and there is no way for an entrepreneur to run a business that he knows will going to lose by the players in the house. That is why casinos are thriving because they will always win more than losing.
not always but indeed in most case, it's like only 1 out of 30 gambling business get bankrupt. so yeah it's a promising business with a sure profit for the casino , where in the other side we are as an ordinary player get fooled as always to keep playing because of its addiction that never easy to deal with. there is a strong desire to win more and more in gambling , that's why.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 08, 2017, 11:23:41 PM
Depends on your view of things and your religion, Regardless of it being a sin or not (IMO depends on what money you are gambling in the first place, since using online earned money doesn't feel that wrong), Regardless, it's a very bad hobby that cost people ALLOT of money...
i think no matter what religion it is gambling would always considered as a bad thing and most of them fully agreed that it was a sin and prohibited. so if you are a religious person then stop it immediately and obey what you believe. otherwise just go ahead and ignore everything around you as long as you get what you want and didn't harm other people.
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin popularity made it vulnerable to governments on: July 08, 2017, 11:12:52 PM
Bitcoin is growing and booming. The governments are watching it, they waited and now they have figured out that it's time to takeover this cryptocurrency. Now they want the masterkey of blockchain but the problem is who really owns the masterkey? Satoshi Nakamato?

I believe that you saw this article written by marketwatch here: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/bitcoin-needs-government-regulation-to-rise-further-morgan-stanley-says-2017-06-13 which mentions the idea of a master key.
Quote
Regulators are looking to have a master key so all transactions are visible to them.

The fact is that, the bitcoin network does not have a master key at all. It is a concept that they just stupidly made up. Even if satoshi wanted hand over control of the bitcoin network, he can't. Because he never had control of the bitcoin network is the first place! The whole point of bitcoin is to combat centralized banking, by implementing a p2p payment processor it means that no government can control your wealth, inflate it etc.

You're suggesting that bitcoin's popularity makes governments want to get a piece of the cake, and this is true. But we really don't have to worry about it. They can make all their demands but ultimately bitcoin will remain a decentralized network, untouched by the government.
i would really understand if the master key word quoted , government don't want to take control over the whole transaction made in blockchain but they want to have full monitoring over every single transaction in every secs which it's could be tracked easily . the problem are on how to make it easier to read/monitored. correct me if i'm wrong.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your maximum win streak? (Dice) on: July 08, 2017, 11:04:24 PM
My biggest winning streak is around 10 with 50% chance. It was a lucky streak indeed because I was already losing and that consecutive wins put my bankroll around .5BTC. Then still I didn't stop and continue to play until it went down to .01BTC. Well its all or nothing for me so I go for broke and eventually lost everything.  I used martingale system and sometimes autobet as well. But that was long ago and I don't usually play dice game anymore. But it was really frustrating because you had a good winning streak but eventually did not win in the end.
i always say that dice are the most dangerous online gaming to gamble , you would get heated quickly no matter how much your bankroll when you have no control over your greedy which most people wouldn't able to do that . even if you have got 20 times winning streak with 50% chance or so , you would ended up with suffering lost . so doesn't really matter right? better to have one time winning and walk away.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 08, 2017, 10:41:24 PM
I normally stop as soon as I have won something substantial. I like to play it safe. I withdraw right away. I also try make extra to pay for withdraw fees.
I sometimes leave bitcoin/credits in the casino balance for later, but that doesn't always work . Wink
lol i think everyone has similar experience as you when you have got profit enough but you want more winning for the sake of paying the withdrawal fees. but you might know already too that sometimes that's didn't goes as planned. instead wi it easily , you lost the whole profit you had just because chasing for a little amount for fee, that moment really could stop you to play but also could make you get stressed.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 08, 2017, 10:27:18 PM
I think on August 1st bitcoin price is are more dump its my personal opinion.

There is a possibility but no one really knows what will happen on August 1. the best thing to do is hoard your coins in a private key wallet just to make sure that whatever happens your coins is safe.

for OP if you have enough money to buy bitcoins that is currently on $2500 then buy it. although there is a possibility that the price will dump after or before August 1 then you can wait for it and wait for the right time to sell it after it get pump. trust bitcoin because it will still stand on it's a ground for many years.
yeah there is a lot of speculation have been made , but only few that reasonable enough to believed. as most of them baseless. but for those people who don't want to think too hard , you might could split your bankroll to buy it now a little and later when the price could be dumped so hard . for the records August 1st aren't that bad to be scared.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is the easiest to wager/win on: July 08, 2017, 10:13:19 PM
there is no easy winner bets , each sport is different and usually easy wins mean low odds whatever the sport you are betting on is
so in order to win you need to know the games and the teams/players that you are betting on , cause in order to profit you need to make good picks with good odds
The edge is much bigger on sorts betting too so that also makes it difficult to choose the pick.
I think cricket is the most loved sport because uncertain events or I should say upsets are least likely to happen in cricket, you wont see a team ranked no. 7 beating a team ranked no. 4 too often. While in sports like tennis you will see that happening more than 50% of times in fact.

1. soccer
2. tennis
3. basketball
4. cricket

that's top 3 sports most watched, bet and popular based on my sources and ranked by a lot of factors. i personally don't know much about how cricket game works and never watch it even for once. so i would pick for the other 3 sports as my easiest sports to win.
1250  Economy / Gambling / Re: INTERTOPS - One of the globe’s largest sites for sports bet *NOW ACCEPT BITCOIN* on: July 08, 2017, 09:52:35 PM
Are you officially representing them, or just posting some offers here and advertising for them? Would be nice to have someone on the forum to contact them with.

I haven't looked into their Terms and Conditions, but do they require KYC if you are a Bitcoin customer? I know some fiat sportsbooks (like bookmaker.eu) accept Bitcoin, but require KYC to withdraw. Looks like a solid book that I might try, but not if I need to provide ID.

a perfect example of the big fish eating the little fish! sure would be nice to find the same trust in a couple of smaller sites! instead of making the big fat boyz even bigger and fatter

Not really. I don't expect them to get a huge share of the Bitcoin sportsbetting world, because some of the current Bitcoin books are very trusted in the bitcoin world and are more knowledgeable about Bitcoin. Bovada and Bookmaker.eu have accepted Bitcoin for a while now, but I don't think either of them have a large market share.
KYC, that is the one who always make bitcoin user annoyed. lack of information but making huge deposit however , when you are trying to make a withdrawal they block it for security reasons and ask you to upload some documents, you can't do that and choose to leave that money there, end of story. so please anyone who have experience with this book elaborate a little bit about this. i'm curious too.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 08, 2017, 09:44:23 PM
I do not even understand what kind of superstition can be when a gambler plays. The fact is that there are many questions as to what game nobody plays. Just have luck or not. There is a strategy or not. Everything else just does not matter.

Just like wearing of colored t-shirts, on what day to gamble. There's a lot of superstitions that are being believed by some gamblers. It's like don't gamble for this day, when you tried to read your horoscope and says that you won't be lucky for the whole day or week. We can't blame those people if they are believing with those types of superstitions.
fully believe on a superstition would never be a good thing to do , but consider it as a fun way to gamble might could really entertain you. sometimes i do counting people around me to decide odds or even to place a bet on roulette. and yeah mostly i just full of superstition when it comes to a game like that, otherwise i don't do it frequently.
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: July 06, 2017, 10:25:29 AM
I don’t think the real usage if bitcoin is in real life right now. Bitcoin is a online currency that people can send to each other for goods or services. It doesn’t matter if it has a long confirmation time, since there is usually no way to revert a transaction which makes the buyer and seller both feel secure. Business have never been easier to grow with bitcoin and it has never been easier to have an idea and then be able to nurture it and grow it with bitcoin. There are heaps of business that are growing due to Bitcoin: gambling, exchanges, online shops and payment processors. And dude, what are you thinking? Can you use gold to buy items in real life, no since gold is an investment option similar to bitcoin, except you can use bitcoin to buy online items. To me, I call bitcoin, “internet gold”.
even basically bitcoin are an online currency it's doesn't mean not fit to real life usage. but yeah for now i think the only thing you can use bitcoin in real life are to buy a cup of coffee as while waiting the transaction confirmed you will still be there. the other merchants might still required a lot of work, as double spend crime could happened when a merchant accept 0 confirmation, not really fit for now.
although bitcoin is an online currency, but i am sure that there are some countries where bitcoin can even use in local shops, local shops are already accepting bitcoin. and very soon this trend will become exceed and people will start using bitcoin in local shops also.
yeah we hope so , a lot of merchants still confused to deal with bitcoin confirmation time , it took too long time and causing some merchants discouraged to adopt bitcoin as one of their payment method, we need to change some rules for the better confirmation system . then a lot of merchants would gladly to accept and apply bitcoin as the payment processor.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: July 06, 2017, 10:12:49 AM
then that's a serious problem , it wouldn't work for a merchants like a supermarket and any other similar merchants where people come and go , transaction based on trust would never be a good thing in the real world . people would feel bitcoin wasn't useful at all. someone have to take care about this , yeah a stakeholder.
There are some bitcoin scaling proposals that might help bitcoin achieve faster transactions. In August 1, one of the said proposal will be implemented and will be chosen based on how many miners/pools are signalling it. After implementing the changes, we might be able to buy something with bitcoin quickly because transactions getting a confirmation might get fast again and might solve the problem of not being able to buy something quickly with bitcoin.
but still there's no guarantee that proposal would fully approved by most miners/pools right? i mean the bitcoin blockchain could possibly splitted and it would just make another problem , instead solve it. and these issues what make people confused and a little bit doubt on bitcoin. 1 August are really a decisive moment for future of bitcoin to have a faster confirmation or to lost people interest.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: July 06, 2017, 09:48:11 AM
I was regularly betting on sports and I usually broke even, but when I started to lose a bit and get emotions to control my betting then I just pulled out and haven't betted in a year or two.

This is amazing, you are able to distance yourself from gambling with not much of an issue. This is definitely not easy for a lot of people out there. They will try to avoid for days or weeks, but within a month or 2, they will still end up coming back to gamble for more. It has already been a habit for them.
that's what most addicted gambler dreaming about , to leave gambling forever to avoid financial problem. but since an addiction always required long time to get recovered and step by step based on a lot of psychiatrist suggestion. it would working effectively . there always an easy way when you have a strong will.

A strong will and determination to quit by thinking of your life and your family. It would also help if the people around you are encouraging you and are helping out. It's extremely hard if you are trying to quit on your own so it's a big thing if you have support from other people around you
yeah then an open talking needed right? so everyone around you could always supporting you , it's indeed a big help when you have a nice family who care and support on whatever decision you make . in this case you want to leave from your gambling addiction problem and of course there would be an easy way opened when you are not thinking alone but together.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: July 06, 2017, 09:23:57 AM
There is no way that the government will shutdown the internet because if they do that, the people will got mad and there will be a big protest and people will against the government. The government will collapse
internet nowadays are part of people primary needs , just like clothes, eat and any other primary things. could you imagine what happened when government decide to ban people to eat? to wear clothes? , it's same thing when op throw his thoughts about shutting down internet , it's a strange thought lol.
Yes, I believe yes the internet now is an essential part of the life such as food clothes and shelter. The internet is playing a high role in running almost all the activities of daily life, for example if you want to deposit some balance into your bank account you need the internet for it or making a police complain is online, if you want some rescue services you can use both the phone and the online application and also most of the government departments are linked with the internet so there is no such option with the government to shutdown internet.
bigger things would happened if internet access disappeared, banned or something like that. the thought are too far away , governments wouldn't get any good benefit by doing that , it's just make the situation heating and worst. that scenario won't happened for sure. especially if governments in the future could cooperate with bitcoin user and even use bitcoin blockchain technology which it's happening now slowly.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 06, 2017, 09:07:44 AM
What keeps me coming back is the never ending crazy chatters in the community. I have made friends there that are very good people even outside the cryptoworld. And of course the possibility to double my money or even more.
Yes because play gambling games we can get the new friends especially the gambling games that use digital coins for makes betting on there, because digital coins are for the people around the world, personality i come back to play gambling is just for fun and entertainment and i don't play gambling every time because i never get the profit from trading every days.
i doubt people come to a casino for entertainment purpose only, mostly would have a target to make profit , to make money right? as there's no money no excitement , entertainment works only for 1 of 1 million player, that's what i think. no have fun at all when you didn't get the money right? simply people coming back to gamble are for money .

You have a point there about the excitement that comes from gambling with money versus to gambling without. But i don't think that few people are gambling inly for fun. Many people go to casinos with friends and are not mainly there for making money. They go for the experience and the fun of being there with their friends.
but still i bet 9 out of 10 player in the end would change their purpose from for the sake of entertainment to for make money , as most people wouldn't resist to handle the desire to get additional money easily through gambling , they are always lured no matter how good their lives it is already. money in gambling are the most important thing , entertainment are the second.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 05, 2017, 11:14:28 AM
I haven't seen gambling websites that use a social media account to log in and store some of your information there, it's like why are you going to do that, especially if you are being anonymous and the gambling site uses bitcoins. I know there are gambling sites that use Steam, and I think that's okay because steam is widely used and technically, you are playing.
I don't usually notice gambling websites doing that type of login system as well. if they begin to use that then I think that they would go out of business since there wouldn't be that many people using the website due to that login thing. Why should they use that when they could use a different website while remaining anon?
i think bitkong offers this feature , so you don't need to put your email there but a social media instead , i just think it's not a good idea unless you log in from a fake account which make it all useless right? there's no good benefit on using social media. i believe people wouldn't want this feature , it's not really necessary.
Yes, that's the only way to save your details/account on bitkong. i think they'll change that in version 2. i find it unnecessary too, i wouldn't want a gambling site to know/have basic information of me.
and AFAIK there's no single bitcoin gambling site anymore require a social media to login/create an account. if then that kind site still exist and survive with its feature i don't think people would comfortable with it and would prefer looking for another site which offering better option and easier way to get started.

Bitcoin transaction may based on trust if you want to do quick transaction but other else , you need put huge fee for high priority if they insist .
As I know bitcoin may be slower to get confirm so for who want to accept bitcoin as their transaction may think twice
then that's a serious problem , it wouldn't work for a merchants like a supermarket and any other similar merchants where people come and go , transaction based on trust would never be a good thing in the real world . people would feel bitcoin wasn't useful at all. someone have to take care about this , yeah a stakeholder.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried medicine to control impulsive gambling? on: July 05, 2017, 09:38:56 AM
Never tried medicine and I think will never do. That is because the kind of medicine who can increase yourself control I am sure will have some other side effects which make your personality even worse that what you think you are. As an example I am taking the medicine used for depression, they don't really cure you , they just turn you from a person to a walking zombie, you don't feel emotions anymore, you don't feel nothing. DO NOT make the worst mistake of your life trying to get these kind of medicines.
yeah actually you could always consume a meth as much possible you might could forget gambling and even the whole memory you have in your head lol. certain medicine could help you out control gambling habit as long as accompanied by a professional, one of my friend do it in his treatment to quit gambling , so far he tell me has a good influence.
