1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many gambling sites have been hacked? on: July 05, 2017, 09:10:02 AM
Not many of them which is actually surprising, of course allot of 1-2 days old websites using that free and full of exploit script get hacked, but other than that the big websites rarely report hacks, either because they can afford to cover it or because they have good security preventing hacks completely.

Seems like everybody wants to start a gambling website lately using the available scripts.

I keep warning them and would personally never deposit any coins to a site like that. Either they get hacked or they run when they pocket a few bitcoins..
actually we should know about how strong the site security it is before make any huge deposit. bitdice so far has the strongest security in term of protecting user's account to get hacked, don't know about the site vulnerability itself , some experts might could explain a little about this. gambling site with huge bankroll and large community always been targeted to hack , so they might have prepared about that too.
1262  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: July 05, 2017, 08:33:05 AM
Trading is more risky because your money will be trade and invest assured you to have profit.Trading fast way of producing money,it's like a business involves your ability to do work while if in skilled based is on how you learn only.

Indeed mate. It also happens to me I've put most of my investments in trading in which sometimes I gain profit and sometimes not which is for me are riskier than skill based gambling. You really rely on the prediction in trading.
trading would make you feel more risky if then you have no idea what to do , i mean to trade baseless and just guessing the price without do any effort to look at situation around , news, and several charts analysis. in this case there is no difference when you trading based on nothing compared to gambling that basically like to choose high or low, red or black , odd or even etc.

It depends on our interest and our basic knowledge. If we are more fluent at trading than skill-based games, hence trading would be better for us and vice versa. But for sure, the risk will always be there.
you mean when you are skillful in gambling it's better than to go trading randomly? i don't think so , both are same in that case as no matter what skill based games in the end gambling are just gambling where everything are basically random. so the outcome on both wouldn't get affected mathematically. imho it's same risk under certain circumstances.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling affected your life in a good way? on: July 05, 2017, 08:00:37 AM
I cannot say it's purely on a good way. But at least I learn how to calculate probabilities properly Cheesy
And its cheap entertainment if you gamble only with few satoshis. Just watch yourself to not get addicted because then its getting really dangerous.
probability things useful only for those who work on math or love the math, otherwise i think the only good way gambling could affected your life are when you lucky enough to win the lottery ticket or any other huge winning and collect it immediately then to leave gambling forever to enjoy your better life. the rest of it just full of bad things , believe me gambling mostly bring you to a worst situation.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 04, 2017, 09:35:42 AM
If i were to choose i'd go for x5 because if i were lucky ill push it through until times 5, after that ill run away with the winnings i will not be greed as hell to let my winnings be wasted. So x5 is better. But if i gamble a huge amount of money like 0.1 btc, x2 will be good then ill save it
i don't think so , even if you have made your profit 10 times , you would always want more. something more than what you have achieved before , and that's normal as gambling most of the times work like that. drive people to become greedy where there is no end. so basically yeah you would always think to stop when you have nothing to stake, people should accept that real data based on real experiences.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: July 04, 2017, 08:54:43 AM
I have a goal - to collect 100 bitcoins and save them for 5 years. I can not call it entertainment. Most likely this is a serious investment plan for the future
I can not now spend my coins to buy everyday things. It seems to me that in the future the price of bitcoin will be much higher.
considering the current price of bitcoin has been in the highest ever noone will play with that huge money . but when the price of bitcoin below $1 or so long time ago in 2009 , some people might have a purpose for the sake of fun only put their $50 to buy bitcoin and fogot it to collect later. but for now i don't think there's someone still doing that.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is the easiest to wager/win on: July 04, 2017, 08:40:48 AM
There is no one particularly easy, else all gambler's would have moved to it and the odds fell to the ground.
My favorite sports are Tennis and US sports, Considering the number of statistics and details available, it enable the player to make a better prediction generally, but every other sport can be better for these experienced in it.
i think when you have an ability to analyze certain sports event like what you do in tennis it could be easier than to place bet randomly right? at least you have a bigger confidence to win your bet , i can say simply to place a bet on an event that you really like and oftenlt watching it. basically nothing easy to earn profit from gambling even sportsbetting.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your maximum win streak? (Dice) on: July 04, 2017, 08:18:12 AM
Mine is 416... but on 98% luck Cheesy

I made it last year for one of the Primedice bingo competitions. I ended with a decent profit and hitting all the necessary numbers without losing a bet. Then forgot to submit the result. I was so excited Cheesy
oh yeah primedice competition, i often play there long time ago but not recently. feel so lucky there until i decide to take a break playing dice as that game really heating whenever you have got a nice winning you would always want to make another bet as you believe you would get another winning, it's always be a hurry decision without a clear minds, however as far as i remember i have got more than 30 winning streaks on 1.2 multiplier and around 10 times or so on 1.99 multiplier.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: July 04, 2017, 08:05:20 AM
Nothing to lose if you believe right?
But unnecessary belief might strain you when you need to focus on necessary things. I have observed superstition giving people some extra work other than what they need to do routinely.

If superstition 100% will support gambler for profit making then I believe there will be nothing wrong to follow it. But in real cases, superstition  is nothing but how our luck factor is working, full of uncertainity then I don't think it is good to have one more extra work.

It is just for setting the mind to think positively. People who Truly think they will be lucky, most of the time really get lucky. It is for absorbing the positive vibes. I am not saying these beliefs I have is true(scientifically), I am just saying it works for me.

Good for you mate that its work for you and I respect that. But for most of us, its really hard to believed because we really can't see it influencing the outcome. Personally, I don't believed from  it. Just an excuse for someone if they win or lose. I would rather try my luck to see if it goes my way or not. And not rely on belief on superstitions.

Relating superstition with gambling is like gambling on your luck without any skill and that can be very risky and irresponsible. It wouldn't always work and how many of us have free money to let go through gambling like that.
then what do you think about some people who gamble with full of skills and put some superstition stuff/action into their bets? i don't think it has a big difference when you use superstition without skills, as the concept of gamble are about to make a random outcome . so it should be the same right?
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: July 03, 2017, 11:43:28 AM
I was regularly betting on sports and I usually broke even, but when I started to lose a bit and get emotions to control my betting then I just pulled out and haven't betted in a year or two.

This is amazing, you are able to distance yourself from gambling with not much of an issue. This is definitely not easy for a lot of people out there. They will try to avoid for days or weeks, but within a month or 2, they will still end up coming back to gamble for more. It has already been a habit for them.
that's what most addicted gambler dreaming about , to leave gambling forever to avoid financial problem. but since an addiction always required long time to get recovered and step by step based on a lot of psychiatrist suggestion. it would working effectively . there always an easy way when you have a strong will.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: July 03, 2017, 10:54:56 AM
Yes.gambling can give  me a lesson in  both financial and emotional aspect.gambling has a lesson that is so temperate.if i was loose it can make me feel bad.the lesson is that i found out that the  gambling is like a weather it is not permanent but weither i win or maybe  loosed i was always  taking control about my emotion because if our emotion is overflowing  that was a start of loosing everything
the real lesson you can achieve from gambling are to know how everyone has a limit no matter how much money you hold. in the end when you turn greedy you would always have a chance to bust the whole money you have and even worse. you can learn how to be patient person also , you might get a better entertainment more than any other extreme sports that gives you a hard push adrinaline .
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: July 03, 2017, 10:32:35 AM
There is no way that the government will shutdown the internet because if they do that, the people will got mad and there will be a big protest and people will against the government. The government will collapse
internet nowadays are part of people primary needs , just like clothes, eat and any other primary things. could you imagine what happened when government decide to ban people to eat? to wear clothes? , it's same thing when op throw his thoughts about shutting down internet , it's a strange thought lol.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: July 03, 2017, 10:24:41 AM
With experience, it is not really a definite guarantee that a gambler will always win. This is especially true to gambling games that are based on pure luck. However, if it is requiring skills like poker, then experience and skills play a vital role for you to win more than losing games.

Poker skills is not really necessary when you cant get a good cards. Whats the point of all those bluffing skill when you cant get a good hands? there is almost no point. In the end you are just going to hope that you could get a good card so that you can outplay everyone even without using necessary skill for that
lol you must talking with an experts about this, i can't deny or agree with you as i haven't a good argument enough. but you shouldn't doubt on how a lot of professional poker player make a living for years , and it's impossible if you do it with being lucky alone. but skills are play a big role here. is it makes sense for you now? experience and skills are matter in certain situation and certain games.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 03, 2017, 10:10:37 AM
What keeps me coming back is the never ending crazy chatters in the community. I have made friends there that are very good people even outside the cryptoworld. And of course the possibility to double my money or even more.
Yes because play gambling games we can get the new friends especially the gambling games that use digital coins for makes betting on there, because digital coins are for the people around the world, personality i come back to play gambling is just for fun and entertainment and i don't play gambling every time because i never get the profit from trading every days.
i doubt people come to a casino for entertainment purpose only, mostly would have a target to make profit , to make money right? as there's no money no excitement , entertainment works only for 1 of 1 million player, that's what i think. no have fun at all when you didn't get the money right? simply people coming back to gamble are for money .
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 03, 2017, 09:44:01 AM
It so addicting because of the pleasure you feel everytime you win. Gambling is a vice which is more dangerous than smoking per se. Due to addiction any Gambler could risk even their own family just to satisfy his/her craving. Also, gambling is not always about winning the fact that you are also losing you want to recover your losses and you wont stop until you regain and I think thats one of the main reason why people get so addictive to the gambling.
yeah that's true , a good winning feeling are the most dangerous feeling in gambling , it could always bring you into a deep addiction . i believe those people who get started being an addict at first time are due they have got experienced a nice winning amount from just a little amount. and they want it to be the same situation in the next times they give another shots.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: July 01, 2017, 03:45:31 PM
Of course not. It is not shameful on being somebody that is out of those people's imagination who judge someone instantly without them realizing uniqueness. Well being unique is something that is within us since we were born. Don't be ashamed on what you are now or in the future because we are born as a unique person and we don't die as a copy. And all people have different fields on where they can excel. If you excel in gambling then continue at it.
yeah basically it's should be like that , but we live in a non sense world where something good could be bad , something right could turn wrong and so on. just because of we have a different point of view people judge other people as they wish. go ahead as long as your activity / hobby of gambling didn't bother people around you .
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: July 01, 2017, 03:17:12 PM
not only bitcoin would die if then there's no internet access , but also a lot of banks that operated with internet, a lot of public facilities that rely on internet as yeah nowadays the Internet of Things has begun . so for me it's more to universal disaster rather than bitcoin only who would die. the possibility this scenario happened also are so small let's skip that talk.
I agree, talk about post apocalyptic situation. Well for now internet is really a necessity, but if you think of it this way, the internet would really die, then we have to find alternate solutions for that.

In the post apocalyptic world we will eventually learn to adapt on what we have, that's human nature I guess. Therefore, we can live without internet.
that's too far away to think like that , the influence wouldn't only on bitcoin ecosystem only but more wide than that. so it's wasn't a reasonable factor. be more specific like when the fee getting bigger and bigger then people would sure leaving bitcoin as out there a lot of currency/crypto have their own vision better than bitcoin. that's could be the start of bitcoin story i gues.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 01, 2017, 02:38:03 PM

that's right mate, those pro gambler really knows how to control their emotion, they didn't follow what greediness wants them they just enjoyed and earn little by little, that's the advantage that they have they know how to avoid mistakes and knows to limit everything beforehand.

Pro gamblers are different than us but they are no different then us when it comes to luck. Luck is the only thing that you need when you play and Im the guy with a very bad luck, that is why I only choose to play for fun. I have lose alot of money when I try to play for profit so that I now only play for fun
Same as you, really there is a lot of people like us. It's hard for us to win in gambling because of luck. So generally pro gambler have a lot of luck and experiences about games. They know the right time to do any bets and the most good thing is control themself from greed. Really, I don't consider gambling like a source of profit, It's just for fun.
luck are something that you can't predicted not by you, by a pro gambler or by anyone, so you should never rely on it. that's could be a mistake too, believe on something that you might won't get it later. even when you treat gambling as a way to having fun , being addicted are almost guaranteed sooner or later .
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 01, 2017, 02:24:27 PM
I haven't seen gambling websites that use a social media account to log in and store some of your information there, it's like why are you going to do that, especially if you are being anonymous and the gambling site uses bitcoins. I know there are gambling sites that use Steam, and I think that's okay because steam is widely used and technically, you are playing.
I don't usually notice gambling websites doing that type of login system as well. if they begin to use that then I think that they would go out of business since there wouldn't be that many people using the website due to that login thing. Why should they use that when they could use a different website while remaining anon?
i think bitkong offers this feature , so you don't need to put your email there but a social media instead , i just think it's not a good idea unless you log in from a fake account which make it all useless right? there's no good benefit on using social media. i believe people wouldn't want this feature , it's not really necessary.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: July 01, 2017, 02:03:41 PM
I prefer to trade than playing gambling. Because gambling is a matter that affects fortune so that we can not be sure to make a profit. While trading is a more certain thing, so the risk of losing money that we have not too big.
Agreed, gambling and trading are the best profiting source available with the cryptocurrency network. With gambling, as mentioned fortune need to happen, else the outcome will be a loss. But we cannot say that fortune won't happen everytime. With trading the best is the minimizing of loss. If you've a good backing of fiat even if the coin value decrease you can just hold and wait with patience for the right time to profit.
i don't think gambling could be compared to trading as a way to make money in the long run , trading much more reliable to rely on. but gambling are full of unexpected things, so when you want and have an expectation to make money through gambling then you should prepared to get hurt in the end as mostly it wouldn't goes as planned , believe me.
1280  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: June 30, 2017, 06:46:15 AM
In my country it is customary for the wedding to give things or cash. Very few people know what are bitcoins and it would be very long to explain what it is. I don't see the point to give bitcoins to people who don't believe in him.

Maybe such a gift will provoke a new interest among the newlyweds in the crypto currency. So one more crypto-currency family will be born.
I would give such a gift. And immediately would say how much it costs
it could be a great moment to show the world about how bitcoin could work in our daily lives. an idea where a lot of people doubt about for years right? now just go ahead and be brave to do something new. as a good breakthrough actually come from something like this. unfortunately i personally have married , so it's not possible unless if i want the second one lol.
