1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which site to use for live sports betting? on: May 31, 2017, 08:08:04 AM
Cloudbet is really the best for live betting imo. Nitrogensports doesn't offer much live compared to others they only put up live lines for big leagues like mlb, nba, pga, epl. Sportsbet.io is kinda okay but sometimes it's hard to access their live lines you need to contact their support for small problems like this.
Mate, you should give 1xbit a shot. It has wider selection of markets for live bet and pre-match. The odds are most of the times better than Cloudbet as well. Cloudbet used to be my fav site before but, The time they take to process bets and the withdrawal times + takes quite long to accept the bet. Also one of the best part of 1xbit is you could watch the match while betting live. I hardly watch sports on TV now. Its just 1xbit and the markets right next to it. Do give it a shot. Smiley

Please use my Referral link to register. Thanks. Smiley
do you actively placing bets there? if so then how long time the withdrawal processed ? and how about the unresolved scam accusation few months ago? look at 1xbit.com account it's has negative feedback https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=910922 , are you sure want to risk your money for a site that has a lot of unresolved problem. i'm not sure i want to do it.
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: High volatility and sudden crashes will kill bitcoin, unless... on: May 31, 2017, 07:53:50 AM
You don’t seem to take into account that crypto is a completely new market that did not existed 10 years ago and when a new market emerges then there is great instability, so I think it is a bad idea to try to stabilize something that by its simple nature is going to be unstable let bitcoin find its level as anything else, with the market and old supply and demand.
that's true , cryptocurrency market has pretty different characteristic compared to any other digital market or any market . i even think the high volatility could live for long time enough as it's how the crypto market work , it could be a new trend . we have face several shocking crash , and so far we pass it and even getting better situation after that crash .
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 31, 2017, 07:34:20 AM
No one likes to lose that's why many gamblers keep on betting.
People addicted to gambling frequently report that, despite losses stacking up, the buzz keeps bringing them back to the card table, slot machine or any dice games.
“If people lose a bunch and that lowers their expectations, that will increase how happy they are when they finally do win,” says Rutledge.
I agree to that. It is losing which keep on bringing people back to gambling. Nobody likes loss. So for compensating the loss people play more so that one bet can win them whatever they lost. This leads to addiction
Gambling lets you win free and easy money. Human by nature wants more and more money. along with that gambling is a lot fun too.
i have a dumb experience when i have managed to win 1.7 bitcoin few years ago , i cash the 1.65 out and left 0.05 bitcoin to play again and then i lost that 0.05 bitcoin , i can't accept that 0.05 lost and decide to make deposit again with 0.2 bitcoin , i keep getting lost until the whole 1.65 bitcoin that actually has been cashed out just disappeared in a couple hours only. what an addiction! so the answer are about addiction.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: May 30, 2017, 11:07:06 PM
I prefer the near-anonymity I can get from using mixed coins at Bitcoin casinos.  It's a much better choice for payment than credit cards and PayPal.
then you would never ever know how good the feeling to gamble in real casino with your coworkers. online casino are indeed really good for those people who want the anonymity , but it's doesn't mean those casino who ask for documents didn't hold your information carefully. it's guaranteed safe under certain circumstances. real casino are not that bad.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 30, 2017, 10:55:34 PM
It's strange because I was thinking about that yesterday. I believe at some point people will start to fear that his 1m coins may be moved and that would crash the market. So to prevent it I would sign a message saying that I will share the majority of the premine among every bitcoin address based on their balance (that would prevent people from creating an infinite number of addresses). After that I would disappear forever.
If remember correctly satoshi once said that lost coins are a small contribution to everyone in the network, so there is no need to distribute the coins, he could lose the coins on purpose, he could send the coins to an address for which he does not have the private keys, or he could destroy the wallets that contain the coins at the moment, and to me that is easier than to try to distribute the coins.
when satoshi release his coin publicly i think it would just make the market back to unstable , i mean the expensive and worthy bitcoin are because of how rare to get and earn bitcoin itself . but when satoshi did it , it wouldn't as rare as before. so i know satoshi would do something better rather than have to release his coins.
1406  Economy / Gambling / Re: IMPORTANT ★ Your password may have been stolen!!! on: May 30, 2017, 10:45:38 PM
Recently someone logged into my liqui account but thankfully I didn't had anything there. And I have quickly enabled 2fa in all of my other trading accounts, I suggest everyone to do the same and if possible do it also with your gambling accounts.

I got a few of these as well. I even posted this in the Bitcoin Discussion section of Bitcointalk and it got ignored.

Basically I have never used Bitsler, and I am getting unauthorized login attempts from somewhere. I am not worried because I use unique passwords for every site and always use 2FA and mostly cold storage my stuff.

However we need to learn where this leak came from, its not from Bitsler. It might be another BCT breach?

Not a BitDice Smiley We are standing strong. Also all our users are safe from such attack.

Regards,
Alex.
with current bitcoin price skyrocketing there would be a lot of hack attempts to get bitcoin instantly through bitcoin gambling account , recently i have got hundreds loggin attempts to various bitcoin account but not with bitdice, it has strong and unique security system to detecting every single device and ask for verification whenever there's a loggin attempt from different ip or device, i like that style alex, keep it up.

1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 28, 2017, 10:57:59 PM
If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, would you:

  • reveal yourself?
  • if so, how would you do this?
  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
  • what would you think of altcoins today?
  • Actually, yes. But I know that it will be so dangerous
  • I will reveal to my friends, they will talk to the others, nothing much have I to do
  • "I'm highhhhh"
  • It's getting better nowaday, I think Internet of coins is coming to town Cheesy
of course it's dangerous as people know you are holding 1 million bitcoin worth billions! , satoshi wouldn't do a fool thing like that . keep being anonymous like what happened today are the best way to make bitcoin established. as long as bitcoin used globally and accepted nicely , i as satoshi would feel grateful that my invention work smoothly as planned.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 28, 2017, 10:48:49 PM
Maybe they play in their own strategy as a gambler. They start as newbie and I know that they have many experience about playing gambling. Their experience can help them to understand more especially when they are going to lose their game they are know what they do. Thats is how profesional in gambling do, they dicrease their bet. When you are gambler you have to be wise. You have your own smart way when it comes to gambling.
Impossible, there is no way to predict when you are going to lose or when you are going to win in gambling so your experience in a game that is completely about chance is irrelevant, experience will only count in games where skill plays a factor like poker and sports betting.

You have no control over what roll comes next in dice. Sometimes you go all in with lower chance after  a number of reds. sometimes you are lucky with those bets sometimes you get busted because of those bets.
my principle are to not go for low odds high chance , it's just camouflage. looks like promising but it's just another trappy odds, based on some people experiences you would feel really unhappy once the bets with those low odds get lost , be smart on choosing the multiplier/odds , you might won't lost too often.
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: May 26, 2017, 10:39:13 AM
seems to me that directbet has been taking care of all their customers. i have approx 10k+ due in an nba futures bet if the warriors win. and everyday i feel more and more comfortable that i will be taken care of.

great job with making sure the closure get's handled the right way.

when/if you come back, i'll still be a customer.
i believe everyone expecting them to make a comeback later , hopefully. i have been spent almost 3 years using directbet too. they have instant payout and it's make them the most bitcoin sportsbook that loved by a lot of people especially around here, the payout never have trouble and any issue never get abandoned even handled asap.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 26, 2017, 10:25:33 AM
Does not mean you always playing gambling you are already addicted this is just for us to spend time when we don't have something to do or the rest we want to have a good money comeback when we do gambling ofcourse by chasing our lose maybe this is why geting to addictive but it can be avoided when you move on and play on another day.
no matter what condition , gambling itself addictive just like drugs . sooner or later when you gamble frequently there would be a feeling you have to go back and play for another session to give a shot , who knows you would get luck and won some nice amount. it's always happened and ringing in your head.
If you count how much the player lost in all his life of gambling, and how much he won. Then it seems to me that you will lose much more. And then you can draw conclusions, What is the use of what he is playing, Of course it can be Excitement as a pleasure, but nothing more.
i have so many times heard about that excuses , it's ordinary . and extraordinary things make it so addicting for some people are due its easy money maker characteristic . most of them who go to a casino to gamble aren't for entertainment/pleasure but pushed by economic needs and choose a fast way (they think) , most of them too ended so bad lost money.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: May 26, 2017, 09:55:02 AM
If you're watching the price of bitcoin at the moment then you should neither gamble or invest atm. Just keep hold of your coins & ride this train to $5000 per bitcoin Wink
if you are not a risk taker , then yeah better to not do both. but when you want to make your bitcoin keep growing in high risk way , go for gambling. feel not safe to do that? just put your money on altcoins or ICO . you could adjust it anyway based on your condition and needs. but everyone agree that investment always more promising compared to gambling.

Putting your money in altcoins may be just as risky except for the fact you can get out when you think you're starting to lose  Cheesy
But then again, if you're betting in small increments of your total bankroll it gets more and more simmilar.
nothing free risk when you are building business to grow/make money, face that fact . then it's really different when you gamble with small increments as you have said, you would get heated faster and wouldn't make good decision when placing bet, then you lost it instead get profit, where investment wouldn't work like that , you wouldn't lost with the capital unless you put it on HYIP.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? on: May 26, 2017, 09:36:50 AM
It is very tempting to win  2 btc in one roll but the idea of losing 10 BTC discourage me to do such kind of bet.  Aside from that even though the chance of winning is 80%, there is no telling what would be the result of the roll since 20% is still a big percentage and might be the one to come up making you lose 10 BTC.
since house edge would work effectively in this kind bet , you would feel have a 49% chance to win and the rest of it are about lost. if you can afford to do that huge amount bet , why not put it on a better payout rates? it's super hurting really when you have to get a lost with that low multiplier. sounds like easy money , it's a wrong thought. it was easy way to make you get frustated.
I think it will be still depends if what site you are betting if you are betting on sports betting i think you have more chance to win in sports betting than if you go betting your 10 btc in dice game or slots don't expect that you can be easily win in dice game or slots. Expect that you can be lose all of them..
Like other said much better to withdraw them and get the benefits of the price increase or saving it maybe you can gain more profit just holding them because the price really increasing no dump happening this few days. .
i don't think so , based on my experience it's just the same when you do both for long term. i have done and compared it long time ago. the result are my bankroll got drained . that time you would really think to gamble so safe but it's doesn't mean like what op did place bet on high chance low payout, it's wrong in my opinion . the feeling when you lost it really really bad, you won't do that for the second time.
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: May 26, 2017, 09:24:42 AM
My biggest regret for bitcoin is in 2013 where looking for btc in my country is still fixated on hyip program. I was somewhat traumatized by this type of investment and chose not to follow it, but at that moment the btc search wave emerged from stellar.org and I started actively to follow it. As time went by I was very busy in real work so I wasn't online for the next 2 years. After I came back online it was very unexpected that bitcoin prices rose sharply and I only collected about 1 btc. If I knew about the potential of bitcoin every year, I would not stop to look for it since 2013.
it's a similar case just like what i have experienced and i believe a lot of people have the same experience too. actually it's about how dare you are on taking a low chance high risk investment back in 2013 ago or so. and most of us just skip bitcoin as the best option to put the money in. lamenting on what you have done and it was wrong won't change anything.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 26, 2017, 08:56:29 AM
If they are newbie and wanted to play gambling then how then can have experience when they don't bet anyway?? They can learn from it and they will be based on there luck I think also newbie are the most luckiest gamblers who can manage to make a damn good profit on short term of playing or maybe can manage also in the long run.
yeah but everyone start at some point . so there's always a beginning where experience are zero. but the point here itself aren't about that , you can always start to gamble anytime, anywhere and at any condition. include newbie. once you have gamble for long time for some people past experience really helpful on how you make decision to place a bet.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 26, 2017, 08:30:36 AM
No, I think that if you put everything at once, it will be very risky and you can lose all your money and stay disappointed.

To bet everything with just a single bet is not recommendable. I don't think it's a smart way of gambling because it's like an all in play. Maybe this is a smart way when you are near to lose all your funds and you will going to completely depend on your luck by that time. And that's the only last resort that I can think.
better to do that rather than you have to get addicted later, when you do small amount bet and do it in regular time and often enough you might have a high chance to become an addict . not like when you go for a single bet only and walk away with no matter what the result it is. feel free to do this if you comfortable and to avoid addiction.

It has the same effect, even you will do small bets in a regular time or doing big blast single bets doesn't have difference. Because in the end you will end up losing and becoming addicted to gambling. To become smart in gambling you need to have enough details on what you are going to do and just gamble what you afford to lose.
no of course it's not have the same effect, as long as you have a limit and have a lot of work to do you won't get addicted. having too much spare time would leading to addiction indeed , so just make yourself as busy as possible. go for huge single bet but remember don't cross the limit  in my opinion it's the key .
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 24, 2017, 07:56:05 PM
I am very sure bitcoin can replace conventional currency today. Now already seen some bitcoin advantages compared to other financial media. Maybe we just need to wait until the time can be controlled bitcoin. I predicted bitcoin would take about 5 years to expand its network in this world.
i really doubt about how bitcoin could replace any fiat currency now or later , both should be there together rather than replace each other. it would just hurt the current world economics. also with the high price compared to any other currency ever exist it would make people scared. unless there's a guarantee from government.

1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 24, 2017, 06:27:16 PM
You will know the gambling site if scam once you deposit and you cant withdraw your money anymore. Also, the site attracts users and promising good. Because in gambling its always luck and just play on what you can afford to lose.
then we are here discussing about how to prevent it before happened , you wouldn't want to lost your money before even get started right? make sure the site owner are well known widely by a lot of people for example and also if you have some experiences how the legitimate casino should work properly and smoothly you might would know if then there's something shady , something not right and just report it immediately here or anywhere that you think would have some good response.
