1681  Economy / Marketplace / Re: question on money making guides on: August 26, 2017, 12:21:29 PM
I see all these money making guides on this forum,
but I wonder has anyone actually Ever made anything from these guides
yeah, what kind of money making guides would you like to know more? If you are saying on how to earb bitcoin, well, you can do it by joining any of the signature campaign, you can also do trading and investing.
First, I think he wants to know if people are truly making money from the guides he sees here on Bitcointalk. To answer the question, I would say a big “YES”, it’s true, we are all making money from the guides, and you, op, can also do the same thing. But, it’s not a must you will have to stick to bitcointalk to make money online, cause there are several other opportunities online which you can earn from. For Bitcointalk, your option is Signature Campaign.

Likely not. No one earns from this guides but the guy who makes the guides. 99% of the time all the make money guides are made only after the method has already been saturated. Hence it is just filled with shitty methods that don't work anymore. Besides, if you have a way to profit big time why would you share it for $5? That's crazy.
Selling one's gold mine might not make any sense, but sometime after discovering the mine, your might be in need of pickaxes, drills, pans, etc and those $5 can come handy and eventually you might be able to scale up and mechanize your exploration.

I know op could not be referring to any money making guides on signature campaigns, (if ever one exists) but on those, "Make $$$$$ every month stuffs. Most things in life are too good to be true and if one is well able to control their greed and gullibility, scammers would be stopped right at the gate most of the time.
1682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: August 26, 2017, 10:00:39 AM
One advice i've read before is that if a trader finds himself and realize he had bought a coin which itseem like he don't know why, sell the coin in that very moment. Its going to be a worry free situation for him.
Such a situation as buying a coin one knows next to nothing need not arise in the first place, if a trader had taken a cue from op second tip: Always Be Prepared! The need to know one's market like the back of one's hand can never be overemphasized and the fewer the coins one concentrates his/her energy on, the better they are able to stay abreast with latest developments in the ecosystem. Trying to master a bunch of coins is simply an invitation to leave more money on the table.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 25, 2017, 04:03:29 PM
what do you think about this topic?

I think it is right because we all know that bitcoin nowadays are very popular and many people are using it because they know what is the value of bitcoin and they also heard a lot about it in others and they trying their luck to have a goo income and be a millionaire in the future. And ofcourse they also use it because the knew it has many advantages.
Yeah that's true that bitcoin is the instant way to get rich.  Bitcoin now a days are very popular among many people who have access on this and i hear a lot of things about bitcoin. Bitcoin gives anyone an opportunity to earn income in an easy way.
If Bitcoin is instant way to get rich, you must be rich by now, but I think it is not all said done and that explains why we are here everyday carrying out one task or the other with hope of gaining some Bitcoin. Instant rich means almost a guarantee to become rich with little or no work, was that really what you meant?
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: August 25, 2017, 01:28:10 PM
I will not be shocked if it's factual or not. Bitcoin's decentralization and anonymity attract syndicates and/or powerful people/families, to transact under the radar of the Government. Being anonymous would give them an edge to freely do their dirty works and they have total control on it, also this is an advantage towards their competitors. Plus, These syndicates are now working with advanced technology and the fact that they have access on the web they could easily adapt to a better payment and transaction system which is Bitcoin. They could manipulate it if they want to, and nothing could stop them.

A bitcoin facility that can make users anonymous is very beneficial to many, including high-ranking state officials who want to launder money, and this will be very profitable for them in many ways either through their transactions or the sending and receiving that will not be known to anyone
If Bitcoin should cease to exist tomorrow, would those corrupt officials cease to be corrupt or would the world have heard the last of crime minded people?  Bitcoin of course cannot be the reason why crimes are on the increase all across the globe and instead of looking for a scape goat, all those pointing accusing fingers at Bitcoin should rather throw their weight behind finding lasting solution for the diversed inequalities everywhere we look. Life isn't particularly fair, but some stone hearted people make it even worse,
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is hoarding bitcoins good or bad for it's growth? on: August 25, 2017, 03:17:56 AM
Hoarding from my point of view is the worst thing to happen to bitcoin and I am sure its not the intention of the founder because it would mean just restricting it to function as a "store of value" which will not increase the amount of users needed for it to achieve full potential of becoming a global currency.
On the contrary, hoarding does not actually portend bad for Bitcoin as it
favors it's value and stability. The value of Bitcoin and just about any cryptocurrency out there is all about people's perception of it. People don't get to hoard nothing except it is very essential or valuable. Suffice it to say that hoarding simply speaks volume of how valuable Bitcoin is. Take it away from Bitcoin, the dream of ever getting to the moon someday, would remain a forlone hope.

Quote
Hoarding will mean if I want to come into fresh in bitcoin because of what I have heard, I then cannot do that because I can't get to buy when no one is willing to sell.
You're rather adrift here, because at no point would there be a consensus to not sell Bitcoin. You would rather  have few seller and as long as you're okay with whatever the current rate is, you would always be able to buy as much as you can afford.
1686  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Speed up BTC unconfirmed transaction to confirmed on: August 24, 2017, 10:17:07 PM
Since OP is not around let me accelerate your transaction instead.
Just wait for the next block mined of antpool and it will be confirm soon, but I guess your transaction will not take longer since you a decent transaction fee.
Thanks Bl4nkcode for the helping hand and to HumbertDice too, I have already gotten an alert from my bank!
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 24, 2017, 09:55:54 PM
The answer is yes, bitcoin is still the top idol of the investors, although many new coins are popping it does not have a big effect on bitcoin. And bcc is a clone of bitcoin.
If you can call bitcoin cash as a clone then majority of the coins in the alt coin market is just a clone of bitcoin,we have a supper effective technology and there is a split in decision making on how to take the coin to the next level and i do see it like that rather than calling it just a clone, everyone has their own opinion .
It will always be Bitcoin and the others - altcoins and their number make little or no difference and since they all have their roots directly or indirectly rooted in Bitcoin, there survival or progress therefore depends largely on whatever Bitcoin becomes. Nevertheless, Bitcoin got the much capitalization, it has the crowd, I think, there's no passing it up.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: August 24, 2017, 09:14:19 PM
Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical? Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?
Ultimately we pick up a regular job, just so we can get paid and when we spend time collecting Bitcoin, the aim is also
to make money, albeit relatively convenient. Now nothing says that one cannot enjoy the best of both worlds though it is sure going to be entailing, but the end looks real good to justify the means.

1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner trader on: August 24, 2017, 03:48:20 PM
So the best advice that I can give to you right now is not to trade. The markets are wild these days and you can get rekt if you make 1 bad decision. The best thing yo u can do getting started is just to do research, buy and hold. Holding on to investments can be a lot more profitable down the road. The best thing is to just forget about it and harvest profits later.
There is nothing the matter with trading now and at any other time, so long as one is knowledgeable enough and has some trading skills. As a matter of fact, more profits are easily made in a volatile market than a stagnant one and in the course of trading, you're in effect hodling your coins, which would most likely fetch better returns.

I am doing most of trading at Bittrex, because  it gives me the best charting features among the few stable exchanges.
1691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we actually cash out of BTC? on: August 24, 2017, 02:01:26 PM
The high transaction fees and delays got me wearing my thinking cap and have some ways to employ altcoins and transverse to a game site that takes relatively cheaper rate for priority transaction and it has been working for me for months. However with segwit activation, we can expect the high transaction fees and delays in confirmation time to be appreciably reduced a little while from now.
1692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: August 24, 2017, 10:35:52 AM
Basically the goal of most trader is to buy low and sell high.in a market when everyone are optimistic its really difficult to decide whether to hold or sell.i consider holding when i dont see the value i aiming for.im not looking for enourmous profit, i stick to 10-20% profit and when i feel good about the price thats the moment i hit sell, my aim is to maximized the selling price value i want instead of the catching it a the top.
A combination of hodling and trading, I think would bring a much better returns especially for a knowledgeable and experienced. Hodling till whenever, just can't be the effective way to increase ones coins at all times. The reason it seems to appeal to may is simply because it is a laziest way technology have handed us to make money.
1693  Economy / Services / Re: Get Paid for every post... Payout weekly on: August 24, 2017, 03:50:37 AM
Your actions--reneging on your promise to pay--do indeed speak louder than your words.

There's absolutely no reason for you not to pay the participants right now.  You are acting like every scammer around with the stalling and excuses.  So just man the fuck up and pay these people.
First there was swooping of horses in midstream, when he changed the original condition for payment, until now there is no spread sheet to show qualified members. If he can post from his hospital bed as claimed, what does it take to transfer Bitcoin to his moderator's account? We are talking about Bitcoin payment, payment can be made from anywhere.

There are indeed lots of inconsistencies here, so that even if he manages to pay on Friday to save his face, he should never be taken serious!
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: August 20, 2017, 07:08:41 PM
Saving has mostly (not always) been a reliable economic strategy. To be fair I've never sold any of my bitcoin silly because I find them too valuable.
Some people want us to believe that selling their Bitcoin is an invitation to loss, but that's a myopic point of view fed fat by the idea that buy and HODL seem  to be paying off and possibly here to stay, but  I sincerely think a skillful and knowledgeable trader can always make more from the market by buying and selling at an appropriate time and yet they won't miss out on any added value should Bitcoin increase in value.
1695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sources do you use in order to make a trading decision? and why? on: August 20, 2017, 06:39:16 PM
The source I am currently using is very easy... any long-term chart.
All you need to see is the price exponential rise.
This should be a good indicator what you must do. Wink
I bet most newbies would rather look elsewhere than some charts, because many of them are of the view that technical analysis is more of a forex and stocks thing and no place for it in crypto-trading. Most senior members however do realize that outside of fundamental news, speculation is the other major force that has been driving the price of Bitcoin and other coins and there is no better way to feel the pulse of the market than through an in-depth insight of technical analysis.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 20, 2017, 02:25:18 PM
There is no strategy to win in dice  and the one who tells you the opposite lies you everything depends on your luck

But we can use the trick to reduce the risk of losing the dice gambling game. Now there are so many ways to use the trick. Let alone gambling dice. Almost everyone loves it
I am a mathematician and I still do not see what trick can be done to the dice never played and will never play because it seems like a loss of money

I guess it's like you said, you've never tried it, so you can never say for sure, what there is! Dice game is a game of numbers and mathematicians I know would hardly turn away from challenges posed by numbers especially not with the knowledge and understanding they ought to have had around  probability and statistics and how they can be useful in reducing the edge against a player and  which they never mistake for no edge at all.

1698  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 20, 2017, 03:01:58 AM
Cashless society maybe far from from reality but it is possible. When the support of the government will with the cryptocurrency then it will be possible to have all transactions cashless.
A cashless society does not need to be crypto currency-based one hence cashless society will be possible even government will not approve them. I mean to say cashless society are already happening based on other cashless methods.
You're right, a cashless society goes beyond cryptocurrency and the internet. As a matter of fact, such societies are already here with us. When we use our debit/credit cards, checks, cryptocurrencies and just about any medium of payment that bypasses physical cash, we're already one leg in and eventually it would evolve into more refined ways and means.

The governments however are going to be at the forefront of it, because it is sure to give them, the power and control they crave for and would also benefit the economies by greatly reducing the cost of printing cash and minting coins.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 19, 2017, 09:33:33 PM
There is one strategy with which you can roll only once and it's a guaranteed win chance 80% amount max you win cashout. Second strategy 1% of total bankroll chance 1% roll 100 times you might win once. Last the 50% strategy if you are winning continue playing as soon as you lose twice in a row stop

nice strategy but there is really no guarantee at all due to randomness and house edge advantage rule. I am now playing just for fun and testing some strategies as well and currently doin good - I just want to gauge how long this would go and start from there. I advice to just play with money we can afford to lose and just play for fun and entertainment.
I can guarantee you the 80% will work i have 0.1 and i atarted my test on bitseler with a brand new account and won the first roll i withdrew and tried on crypto games ot worked again tried on bitdice again it successfully worked. In first roll of the account you will never lose but continuously doing will be a loss

You were very lucky then. Wondering what was your win chance and amount of money you bet but nonetheless, the issue is whether or not our first bet is most likely a winner and when we bet further, loses will be eminent. But to be honest, if our win chance is high, then even if our account is new or old, we are most likely will going to win on our first bets but not really all the time though.
Old account won't work this strategy is have a high bankroll register a new account on a dice site set the chance to highest roll the dice 98% times you will win the roll no matter what because the house edge doesn't your profit or your loss the main aim of house edge is to make you lose but with you first bet it is fair and losing a 95% chance is impossible however with old account it will know if you are in loss or profit so that won't work
I suppose if you have concerns about the possibility of an old account being flagged, then you can always log out, clear cookies, before logging in again and intermittently  change client seed.  They say that the dices does not see, but it does seem, they do sometimes and your concern can be a legitimate one with some dice sites.

Mathematically no betting strategy will increase your odds. If the odds don't change then you will eventually lose.

I've tried several strategies including the Martingale strategy, but in that one, the bets have to be very small to absorb the long losing streaks where you are doubling the bets. It just doesn't work because you will eventually have a long streak of losses.
I know some strategies can be quite rugged, but anything  built on plain martingale is a sure loser, better to steer clear of such strategies if one ever fantasized of living the game site with more coins than one brought along.

As for the 80% chance strategy, the high probability, means there is a likelihood of getting a win with a few number of rolls, so if one can structure one's bets to recover a losing bet with a number of bets rather than outright doubling up on every loss, then the chance for making some profit is greatly enhanced.
