CCN CannaCoin switched to REDD coins code base. It worked out really well. REDD is pure POSV (some form of POS).

THC HempCoin is switching code bases within the next 2 months. They're going to a POS + POW mining solution.


I see great value working from the same code base as other coins. When the code base is the same, you can reuse all of the other coins code. Many important pieces of open source software are required for advanced third party development. REDD and CCN have some really nice code going on and it would be great to get in on all of it.


I'm curious which coins code base you are most interested in using when performing a switch to a PoS or PoS+PoW mining solution. I'm sure there are some other strong collaborations with the same coin code base that would be good to get in on.

I'm interested in switching code bases. It looks like coins are starting to work off of each other. It makes developing things together with NEOS extremely simple if all you have to do is replace "NEOS" with "HEMP".

I saw this happen with REDD and CCN.

People should go around seeing what other POW/POS coins are out there. I would like to see lots of coins coming together using the same code base as THC. More code for use by THC = More features for THC.

I don't see any weed coin being better than any other. All of the weed coins have a chance of being as massive as bitcoin is today.

altcoin.center has high level technical support for all of the coins in its system. It will add many features in the future.

As weed becomes more legal in the USA, I see all of the weed coins doing extremely. I see bitcoin growing 50x in the coming years.

I think you should allow dopecoindude to peer review the code. Hopefully he can then add on to the project. He seems like a perfect fit to peer review the code and join the development of it.

I'm always in favor of having code peer reviewed before it goes open source. It would be horrible to release open source code with a serious flaw in it.

accepts the Poland national currency. Since the trees are from Poland farms I would recommend this exchange. Like any single key hot wallet exchange, I would not store coins on the exchange until you are ready to sell.

Although it's a new exchange, a bright future for the exchange would translate into a bright future for CDT.

I'm working on getting hemp.cash to be multisig. It will allow for way more users as well as security for everyone. I know some people working with the new NFC tags for wallet security to help me as well. That might bring the value up.

I don't think there is enough liquidity in DOPE to have it as a payment option. I've been thinking about shops with low liquidity coins and have come to the conclusion that the only way they will work is if the shop owner works for free. Devs work for free, shop owners should work for free also. Instead of trying to make money on a shop. Make money by increasing DOPEs popularity.

#1 thing for me is price. It has to be the cheapest place online. It also has to be possible to buy the coins. If I need 2,000,000 DOPE to buy something then I have to be able to buy them. I wouldn't spend coins that I'm saving.

Ex. I want to order something that costs $200 on your site because it costs $300 on other sites. I would go on bittrex and buy $200 worth of coins all at once. That is the amount of coins I would pay.


I can't stress how important it is for you to work for free and do not try to make money on this shop through sales. It will never work unless you are working for free.


I personally spend about $20,000 a year online. If you were working for free and selling me that same $20,000 worth of stuff for $15,000 then that would be $15,000 worth of cash going into DOPE just from myself.


Cryptocoins need more people using their skills for free. If you are a quality e-commerce store operator, that is a great skill to have supporting DOPE.
