1701  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL Preorders -- What did you get? | Who has the lowest order number? on: June 29, 2012, 06:25:42 PM
just recieved my bank transfer information. On a friday at 8 pm. I wonder how many additonal places in the line the weekend delay is going to cost me.

When you select the bank xfer option do they still send you a confirmation email with an order number? If so, that's your place in line.

1703  Economy / Securities / Re: Which GLBSE mining companies are upgrading to BFL? on: June 29, 2012, 04:58:50 AM
Cognitive is raising a motion (which will surely pass) soon to upgrade our seven FPGA Singles. Keep up with the thread and site for the latest info!
1704  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: June 29, 2012, 04:48:24 AM

1705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I just lose all of my bitcoins (alot) on: June 28, 2012, 07:15:05 AM
First thing, hit windows key + R
and paste:
%APPDATA%/Bitcoin

Back up the file called wallet.dat

Beyond that, I'll leave it to someone else -- my eyes are half shut Tongue

1707  Economy / Goods / Re: FS: Apple Airport Express 802.11n Router on: June 26, 2012, 04:18:41 AM
That would be a good FPGA host if it can run OpenWRT. Googling...

Edit: Of course Apple wouldn't allow third party firmwares... ahh well.
1708  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Public question for Nefario on: June 25, 2012, 10:00:59 PM
I think if you already have a reputable asset and you ask, he will be a bit more lenient with you.

I've never asked for this, and yes it could be considered an unfair policy.
1709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITCOIN MAGAZINE ARRIVED! on: June 25, 2012, 09:19:14 PM
Loved the magazine. Thanks to the entire team.

Hope you got a subscription! If not, http://subscribe.bitcoinmagazine.net

It will be cheaper to buy it now than any time in the future as we will stop the policy of losing money on shipping by next week and Barnes & Noble pricing will be more.

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass about the pricing (within reason), just as long each subsequent issue is better than the proceeding one.

~Bruno~

Yup. I would have paid twice as much for the first issue, easily.
1710  Economy / Securities / Re: Motions Raised! Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive on [GLBSE] on: June 25, 2012, 07:36:54 PM
The latest motion has passed!

Our total hashrate has now been increased from 7200mh/s to 7600mh/s.

Within the next few days a motion will be raised to raise funds to purchase ASIC upgrades for our seven BFL Singles. When the FPGA Singles arrive, we will be at a total hashrate of 13550mh/s (assuming 850mh/s from each unit). After the ASIC upgrade we will be at a total hashrate of 287600mh/s.

Botnet operators need to be strung up on wires by their toenails and beaten with red-hot pokers.

1714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Generate Google Authenticator OTPs with a TI89? on: June 25, 2012, 03:52:39 AM
one of those did say it had an internal time system, that should be good enough if it keeps time well. now just get someone who knows of TI-Basic and your ready!

Also it may take too long to enter in the unix time into the program

You would just enter it in advance then wait for the actual time to catch up to you Tongue Is that not obvious?

Also, the 5% fee is really steep.

1718  Economy / Services / Re: BitcoinFunding.com Seeking Beta Testers on: June 25, 2012, 02:10:19 AM
When you get the confirmation email there is a period at the end of the confirmation link nullifying the link.

Can you please PM me the text?

Done.

And the link "Upload photo" in the "My account" section is twice the actual button's length. It doesn't seem to work in Chrome either.

Edit: Actually it just takes a while to open for some reason.
