1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin was lost permanently? on: June 10, 2021, 09:37:54 AM
That depends on whether or not Satoshi Nakamoto is alive.
I think that he is still alive although, I do believe that he isn't just one person because bitcoin is far too complex for only one person to create alone, satoshi might have some help.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's official view of El Salvador on: June 10, 2021, 08:40:02 AM
It's not unreasonable because he is right that it cryptocurrencies is volatile and not everyone can keep up with the prices moving up and down, businesses could go bankrupt any time of the day when the prices started going down.
1703  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-06-06] Senators Urge Crackdown On Crypto As Ransom Payment After Gas Pipe, on: June 10, 2021, 06:32:55 AM
The biggest problem here is that they will probably make a big deal out of it and exaggerate on their way of making. Another problem that the crackdown won't work is probably because the future attacks might never be perpetrated by the people inside their soil.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Doesn’t Exist, Or How Satoshi Nakamoto Tells Lies To People on: June 10, 2021, 05:25:58 AM
Why the wall of text OP? You tryin' to be different from other people who spread FUD in this forum? Because this isn't the way that you should've worked because not everyone will have the patience to read your rhetoric or essay whatever you want to call it because it is a wall of text, try again next time. By the way, why do you believe in God when you can't see him/her but don't believe in bitcoin when there is a code that proves it's existence?
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin... Stop being so hard to defend on: June 10, 2021, 04:16:33 AM
people who hate bitcoin always find fault, always post negative things about bitcoin, they say bitcoin is energy-intensive, not environmentally friendly, over-mining, etc., but they don't realize and don't want to admit that they themselves use a lot of energy , and pollutes the air, makes something that damages the environment, they always blame bitcoin and keep looking for ways to reduce bitcoin,, this is the digital era so we have to make money even through digital, now it's no longer time to send letters using bird intermediaries
Exactly, that's why anytime this happens, we just do the thing that we should have done a long time ago about it, we should've ignored these people that doesn't have anything good to say about bitcoin. Ironic how they call themselves nocoiner because we will all be taking the last laugh.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Increases Its Debt-for-Bitcoin Offering to $500 Million on: June 09, 2021, 12:00:53 PM
What is this debt offering? Will it make a significant impact to the market if they do it? Also, what is that "speculative attack" on the US dollar that you are talking about? There's a lot of things that I want to know in this article.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin as safe as its believers say? on: June 09, 2021, 11:18:21 AM
I do think it's safe and the believers are right, and they aren't just any believers that doesn't know a shit, they are developers and programmers that have tried to break bitcoin but they didn't find any weakness in it so I guess I will probably take their word more than your stupid claims.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a scam: The long debated argument discussion by Bloomberg - Quicktake on: June 09, 2021, 10:43:34 AM
Bitcoin is not a scam or a ponzi scheme. There are still people who are claiming like it is. If it was a ponzi scheme, then it wouldn't even exist for this long. And it wouldn't be adopted by any place. I hope someday these people will understand this also.
Duh, everyone with the right mind and thinking knows that, the people who said it are just bitter assholes that regretted not buying bitcoin at a really low price because they are skeptical and now they want to make sure that others will share the same misery as them.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 51% Attack on: June 09, 2021, 09:35:56 AM
Chinese pools have long since found that spamming the bitcoin transactions are farrrrrrrr more profitable than a few week 51%.

no worries.
And they are much cheaper compared to 51% attack since you don't need a lot of resources to spam the transactions and knowing China, they would probably choose those that they can benefit from in the long-term than a big one that wouldn't even last that long.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Tax on: June 09, 2021, 08:48:13 AM
Taxation can only make the price of Bitcoin higher. Taxation means that the country officially recognizes that the benefits of Bitcoin are legitimate rights and interests. Since paying taxes in accordance with the law, the country has an obligation to protect. Smiley
I don't think so because the taxes should only be applied if you are going to sell it meaning that the prices are going to go down when there is taxes and probably the prices will go down much more since buying bitcoin might get taxed too.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To diversify or not to diversify... on: June 09, 2021, 08:13:46 AM
One of the reasons for diversification is to protect yourself from drops in the main asset you own so you look into buying things that can remain up or go higher when the drop occurs. Here is the problem with buying altcoins, whenever bitcoin has a bigger than normal rise or fall the altcoins get dumped.
So to answer your question, yes diversify but don't buy altcoins.
Might want to focus on your main investment first before diversification because you want to learn more about it. I myself focus on bitcoin only because I want to go all in first on something that is guaranteed to go big rather than gamble with altcoins that will probably go down really bad.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a rational real Person I dont see btc success on: June 09, 2021, 07:25:59 AM
So you are basically an invalidating POS that doesn't even consider the climb of bitcoin from 1$ to 30k$ a success? That's a pretty high standard for a nobody like you don't you think?
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's no lottery ticket in Bitcoin, it's a savings account on: June 09, 2021, 06:54:44 AM
Absolutely agree, people who try and make a one time big time investment are the ones that pull out when the market prices go awry, they expect a high return in the first few weeks after their investment but we all know that our expectation doesn't go our way. Also, this is the steroid version of savings account because you don't know how big the profits you will get when it's ripe for taking.
1714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 09, 2021, 06:09:38 AM
I just sold yesterday, forced to. I hate paying bills close closer to due date in case Bitcoin slides some more than I end up paying even more next week. Am I a weak hand bad guy? =(
Not necessarilly weak hands because you are trying to cut losses and you only rely on bitcoin to do your responsibility in your house. Weak hands in my opinion are those that doesn't have any reason to sell besides the panic that is only for short-term.
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is scam, Generated out of thin air while US dollar generated out of Gold on: June 08, 2021, 11:13:30 AM
US dollar generated out of Gold? Mate, you're like literally 50 years late now. I introduce to you, President Richard Nixon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_standard
And that isn't even being used now? So basically fiat doesn't have any gold backing because they removed it already. So what OP is saying is that the out of thin air pulling isn't just bitcoin but also fiat so basically OP played himself.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: June 08, 2021, 10:22:10 AM
I can agree with this especially if you don't have any bitcoin in your portfolio yet, you must enter no matter how high the price is but because the prices are really low, it is just an added bonus for getting in the market.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't want to hear anybody crying when BTC will reach 1M per coin! on: June 08, 2021, 09:43:48 AM
Let them do their own thing, if they don't want to go in the market now, let them have it their way. It's not worth persuading them because there's no point arguing with these people especially the ones that are strongly opposed to bitcoin. They will continue hating on them even if bitcoin is at the million dollar mark.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple announcing crypto emojis would move the price more than El Salvador did on: June 08, 2021, 09:08:17 AM
You might be right and it's actually funny. But the main reason is not so important. The main thing is price moving up.
Yeah right, as long as the price moves up and we make a profit, it won't matter which one does good but we also have to accept the reverse when it's happening and it's currently happening right now with the price of bitcoin on a limbo. Another reason that I can think that El Salvador's introduction is probably going to go awry because I don't think there isn't a lot of people there have some access to mobile or electronic device.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 08, 2021, 08:12:12 AM
I haven't played crash during my gambling time, most of it are betting or poker so I can't say for sure that I like this game, for me, this kind of game don't have the same appeal as poker or betting.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 08, 2021, 07:17:21 AM
I think if he meant to say that risk free bet means a particular gambling site will still refund your bet if your bet loss. Since one gambling site offers some kind of risk free bet in sports promotions. Although if you are able to decide, 1.5x odds would be better. You'll still have a good profit if you win by that odds.

Anyhow, remember that this is still gambling and regardless of the odds, they might be always an unexpected result.
That's actually superb if you think about it because people find it hard to gamble when they know that they will lose the money or eventually lose the money but with a risk free bet where they give it back to you, they hook people into betting again even if they aren't risk free anymore because they already got hooked.
