DarkStar_, have you ever considered counting posts made in Politics & society, especially after a Mod was added there, and spam has noticeably reduced? Also, speaking of P&S, I think you counted one of my posts I made in that section couple of weeks ago(I forgot to remind you I guess), so you can cut payment for one post or something for this current or next round. I naturally assumed it might be because some people have strong political views that ChipMixer may not wish to be associated with. I believe I added it as an excluded section because it was heavily spammed by repetitive topics/posts. There used to be very little worthwhile discussion going on in there. It was essentially off topic v2. |

Yeah, you could both do with a nice promotion somewhere to give theymos a bit of a break (he does a lot around here which you and cyrus could probably be assigned to)... cyrus can already do many of the things needed like restoring accounts, the issue is that he just doesn't. |

Hilariousandco might be able to shed some light on who deleted it. Although I doubt the actual moderator will come. I think it won't be gmaxwell as he moderates the alternative clients section quite well. Could be one of the other two though...
It's not strict moderation, it's deleting most of the posts at this rate!
Hilariousandco won't be able to tell,AFAIK. Last time when something had happened in the mining section, theymos said it wasn't -ck, nor Frodocropper. Maybe this time too its the same mod who deleted the posts last time? Maybe? He's a global moderator so he should be able to see who deleted that post shouldn't he? Much like Theymos can? Nope. I wonder how long you offered them this? And did you offer your candidacy? If you take it seriously, then in one day you could solve all the issues that have accumulated for the entire time. It's strange that the responsible moderators do not do this. Yes. I've made many suggestions over the years including adding more mods and admins to meet demand. I offered as such publicly only recently: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4893744.msg44447202#msg44447202 (read the first post to see all the suggestions I've made over the years). If I was going to be made an admin though it would have likely happened by now, but somebody needs to be doing things like account restorations and adding more merit sources etc plus all the other admin duties. If there's nobody on staff that can be trusted or is qualified to do it then theymos needs to hire someone which he did mention the possibility of a while back, but merely mentioning the possibility isn't enough. People really shouldn't have to be waiting a year to get their accounts back. |

Given you are not slapping these UID's with Red Paint TM why exactly do you expect others to do it for you? For 3 reasons: - 99% of people don't cares about not DT trusted feedbacks
- some managers do not cares about the trust at all, even the DT Red trust on their campaing so my feedback will be useless (we are talking about Bounty cheaters)

Sadly not. All you can keep doing is bumping this thread and PMing them but it's likely futile until they actually start restoring accounts. Do you mean that they do not do this at all now, do they not restore accounts and other members of the forum? It seems that way. So why does the administration not appoint a person responsible for this work? I don't know. I've suggested they do. A lot of people suffer from the actions of scammers and are waiting for the help of the administration.
I know. It's unacceptable but there's sadly nothing more I can do. |
