1741  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Double-digit monthly returns w/ audited records on: June 19, 2023, 07:18:36 AM
Fund minimum is $250k. Half my investors are people that don't live in the same country as me and I've never met them.

I noted this in my original post but this is not a traditional commingled fund. I have a management account with a brokerage. Clients open their own investment accounts and grant me 3rd party access to trade their funds. They retain full autonomy over their account and funds at all times.

If you can put a $250k deposit in escrow, I can get you investors. Serious money requires serious players, I assume you are serious when you talk about such sums, we certainly don't doubt that you earned that much money a long time ago.

It's suspicious why you create this thread under project development it should be in this section
Investor-based games

For such threads, a "fun and leisure" section should be created.
1742  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: June 17, 2023, 04:31:12 PM

Right now we are not going to OPEN any spot publicly but if you are a highly recognized and reputed member on the forum then feel free to apply.
Minimum Merit requirement in the last 120 days: 200+ :-)

1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: June 17, 2023, 04:22:58 PM
Has Bitgesell completely turned to NFTs?
Other than the minting of new NFTs, I don't see any movement. Also, without any ambition to be listed on another trading platform, it is still only possible to buy/sell on PancakeSwap.
Are there any significant updates here?
1744  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: WorkasPro | Blockchain-Based Freelancing Platform | Fiverr Alternative | No KYC on: June 17, 2023, 04:14:45 PM
Can you shed some more light on future crypto payment methods that WorkasPro will support? Personally, I find it quite unusual that the two biggest coins (bitcoin and ethereum) aren't supported. The website works only with Polygon and Binance-native tokens based on what you said in one of your previous replies. Can we expect BTC and ETH in an upcoming update?

It will definitely be so. We are currently in the initial phase and there are still many updates ahead.
We will not only add BTC and ETH to the payment, but we'll have more exciting updates such as a working studio.

If there will always be benefits for the use of the IDEA token, you will also push for its use, Shouldn't a multicurrency platform (like the one you're building) have some kind of exchange or token swap option? At least the conversion of Ideaology tokens vs all others in both directions is to be enabled.

note: it's really not necessary to increase the font, you won't add to the meaning.
1745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: reputable escrow and hosting companies on: June 17, 2023, 10:51:25 AM
Is there any lists of reputable escrow companies in china or Miner hosting sites that is not outdated? If not, can people post some names of ones that they have used lately, please?

Thanks guys.

I don't know the reason for insisting that it is from China, but I suggest you look at Zenland, a relatively new escrow service, which has active representatives on the forum. I used them in the testing phase, then they looked ok with a fairly friendly and understandable interface.

This is not my guarantee for their service, be sure to do your own research before doing any work.
1746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommendations for signature designers on: June 16, 2023, 12:31:58 PM
You can check this thread: Overview of Bitcointalk Designers(Signature,Avatar, etc)

After you click on their profile, make sure you check that they are still active on this forum.

I can advice you to use hugeblack or Jayce

This may be a slightly outdated list, tranthidung made something newer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406507.0
OP will probably be more interested in this one because at some point he himself will want to be in this collection.  Wink

It seems that there is a problem with the clearnet site again, although now it is Cloudflare Error 522. As far as I have seen, this error is not caused by any Cloudflare malfunctions, and they indicate that it is a connection timed out. Probably server overload or web hosting firewall blocking Cloudflare requests.
1748  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Campaign Manager Utility on: June 16, 2023, 12:10:57 PM
Building a good campaign management tool has become a serious challenge.

But your concerns are correct and at this time, it is required to manually check deleted posts and adjust them. But the idea is that the CSV file that is generated from the program can be easily modified.

This sounds like complicating the whole thing because, in addition to using the tool, managers have to check manually. I believe that you should count posts in a certain period, and not just by the number of posts. That way you would skip worrying about deleted posts from the past.

Otherwise, how to automatically check the quality of posts, especially at a time when the use of AI is quite popular?
1749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [WIN]Overview Of Bitcointalk Contests And Giveaways on: June 15, 2023, 03:20:46 PM
How can i make "description" section longer so all text can be seen in one line?

I'm really not good at design, there are certainly a lot more skilled people than me here for such things. But here is a short proposal template, maybe it will give you some ideas about what to do.
Also, maybe columns like "Board" and GO>> are unnecessary for you. You can add a link to the thread at the beginning by linking the name itself.

Here is example(ns):  Wink

1750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Earn Platform Haru Invest Freezes Withdrawals on: June 15, 2023, 02:43:15 PM
Anyway, no big loss here, I've never heard of Haru before this and don't particularly care whether it was a "defi" or a "bank" or a "shitcoin" type of deal or straight-up ponzi. Greed and stupidity will always find a way.

I am also hearing about this platform for the first time, and after I visited their site, the first thing I thought was that it was an obvious scam. However, it seems that they have considerable popularity, especially in Korea. The website is ranked there at #29,083 place. 250-350k visits a month is not an insignificant number.

What is most striking to me is some kind of cloud mining that they offer (I am very sceptical of this type of business). To whom does this sound realistic, mining without hardware, fixed dividend rates, 12% annually...

1753  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: all egyptians must stop visiting freebitco.in on: June 15, 2023, 12:28:06 PM
1- freebitco.in banned all egypt ip addresses ranges from earning (can not click 'ROLL' l, can not click 'withdraw')
2- only VPN works with them but not guaranteed, freebitco.in banning them when reach the minimum amount and click withdraw

Are you sure that you have not done anything that is not allowed by the rules of this site? More than one account and claim bonuses from all of them, for example?

4- its global site rank became 1854 (decreased 41 sites yesterday)
5- if no one from egypt visit this website; its global site rank will continue decreasing until down away and lose people's trust

1854 or 1813 totally negligible difference, even if it is measured in tens of thousands, not just 41. It is a rather complex metric and drawing any conclusions based on it (certainly not what you are doing) is absolutely frivolous.
Maybe you are angry and want them to stop their business, but what you are saying has nothing to do with the real state of affairs.

It's obvious that everyone may not leave at the same time but a large number will definitely leave them, some investors or users may play ignorance, unaware, or don't care about any preceding consequence.

How did you conclude that a large number of users will leave them? Because of this topic that Sherif1258 opened or do you have some additional insider knowledge?
1754  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hotbit stops operation on: June 15, 2023, 10:11:40 AM
So, these scum have decided to keep the user's funds as long as they can.
I have some shit tokens there, it's not worth anything, but I wanted to try to withdraw them from there. So how is the whole process going...

At first, I was surprised because I noticed that the token was not enabled for withdrawal. After I sent an email asking why this is so, I got a reply from them very quickly to send them a screenshot with the problem. To my surprise, when I went to do SS, a "miracle" happened and I saw that withdrawal was enabled???
OK, that's fine. However, they tried their best to drag things out. Withdrawal of that token cannot be sent via the Polygon network (disabled), but only via ERC20, where the fee is of course only 48.2205 USDT.

I get a uniform answer to all further questions, even though it has nothing to do with reality.

Quote
Hello,
If withdrawal is enabled, you can only withdraw through the chain displayed on the page. Hotbit has decided to stop operations, please withdraw as soon as possible
The fee is dynamic and updated in real-time according to the on-chain data. To save costs, users can wait to withdraw when the gas fee is low.(But we do not recommend withdrawing after the gas fee decreased, as the withdrawal function will be unavailable after June 21st, 2023.) Please refer to the data on the withdrawal page for real-time fees.

It is an almost miserable amount, but their transparency and "goodwill" are obviously just a story. Well, the good thing is that they are going down in history.
1755  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: June 14, 2023, 08:16:39 PM
Hi, not for us at least. Both clearnet and Tor seem to work fine. We will post another message in the next hours with a more in-depth response to all the discussions in the topic and what we've been working on during the past weeks.

Edit: Just noticed our Clearnet server provider is doing infrastructure upgrades until midnight CET time, so 2 hours left. Tor is still accessible during this time.

Clearnet is also down with me, only the Cloudflare page with the "Error code 525" message. Maybe you should check your SSL settings there.

Quote
Background Error 525 indicates that the SSL handshake between Cloudflare and the origin web server failed. This only occurs when the domain is using Cloudflare Full or Full (Strict) SSL mode.

btw. TOR is running regularly.
1756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the analogues of the site BestChange? on: June 14, 2023, 03:56:04 PM
As indicated in the header, I am looking for a trusted site where I can choose the best exchange rates and the best exchanger for myself.

I have know several similar services, but I don't know why they mostly offer only the Russian version. Or maybe I didn't manage to find the EN (or any other) version of the site
Some example:
https://exchangesumo.com/ (RU only)
https://e-mon.ru/  (RU only)
https://glazok.org/  (RU only)
https://rates.guru/  (a good part of the site is in ENG, although it is obviously aimed at the needs of the Russian market)
https://www.okchanger.com/  (EN)

note: This is not my direct recommendation for using these services, it is just a simple list of similar monitoring services.

BestChange that's the only current well-known and trusted one.

I would agree with this statement here, however, Best_Change has gained a positive reputation (at least on this forum), so I have seen no reason to take risks with other services.

I'll leave this here in case anyone has funds stuck on Bittrex.

1758  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference thread for flag on fake lending service. on: June 14, 2023, 12:30:55 PM
I would almost completely agree with DireWolfM14's statement, maybe this whole discussion wasn't necessary after that
There are no loans being given out here.  This "lender" is just a troll with a lot of alt accounts, using them to talk to himself.  Scammers have tried this kind of thing multiple times; he'll pretend to give himself a loan, then use his alts to leave positive reviews for his own accounts.  It's an effort to feign activity and trust.

What I would add, we have often seen Newbies complain that they can't get a loan and that they are discriminated against here in that way. I also think that this is not the first time that a super lender appears and given loans exclusively to newbies.
It is quite possible that it is not even an attempt to build a fake reputation, but just trolling.

If it's difficult to determine if the lending is fake, the alternative is to prove that the accounts involved are controlled by one person. That alone is enough reason to leave tags on them.
You cannot pretend to enter into transaction with your alts. That is an attempt to deceive the forum members.

We cannot make any special conclusions about alt accounts, because they are mostly beginners without any history that would indicate any connection.
1759  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit disables account and seizes funds (10.2k)! on: June 14, 2023, 12:10:36 PM
It looks like the community does not have interest in this case anymore nor interest in the flag created.

The community is certainly interested in the positive closure of such cases. It is not always easy to make a decisive decision, especially on the basis of very little evidence (I'm speaking in general, not just for this case) that is presented.
Likewise, I have not seen a valid explanation or any proof from Rollbit for the account suspension.

Seems I have no other choice but to go to the licensor directly for this case as Rollbit still won't provide me any further details. Quite sad it has come to this point, as i have not heard of anyone be successful through this method with their specific license they hold.

Thank you to all who have helped me and given their time to provide input and suggestions towards this case.

Did you do anything about this?
The higher instance for casinos still has much more power compared to the forum community

In this 3 hours long program, the expert speaker, a founder and CEO of StarCompliance.io - Taras Podgorodetskiy, will share vital insights on crypto security.

Taras Podgorodetskiy seems like someone who pretends to be an expert in various fields. I find them as founder of Timedom – Ukrainian service of apartments rentals and currently CEO @ UA-Valley.com link
Both timedom & UA-Valley.com services are dead.
Can bloggers consider themselves experts in any field, when they have almost no personal experience?

Return of the jedi is more expected than the return of stolen crypto, I could save everyone 150 AED on how to keep your crypto safe, just use a cold wallet and you'd be Ok.

This sounded like "Return of the jedi" to me too.  Cheesy
I would say this is just an innovative way for a restaurant to sell some food.
The talk starts at 6 p.m., on Thursday, June 15th at the restaurant 📍 Gaia, Dubai
Note: The minimum spend rule in the venue is 150 AED.
