1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 21, 2023, 02:00:15 PM
I think their KYC mechanism will trigger on big wins. I haven't won a big amount from a big multiplier, so I cannot say for sure about it. However, based on my observations of some gamblers, they seemed to complain about the site requiring them to undergo a KYC process just to withdraw their big winnings. This seems to be a normal practice nowadays, so be prepared to comply if you want to withdraw your funds. Make sure to read the TOS carefully before signing up.

For me, complying with KYC is easy, but winning x1000 is almost impossible.
This is something every gambler should expect as long as they are gambling in casinos they have a chance to win x100 times or x1000 times although it looks impossible so you have to be ready to do KYC because its in their terms and you accept it when you sign up, deposit and play and there are instances that even if you did not win a huge money they will still you to undergo KYC because of anomalies in your betting.

Whether you are a newbie or a long-time bettor VIP expect a KYC when they think they have a need for you to do KYC you have to go through KYC if you think that KYC is not for you then we have the web3 platforms but between centralized casinos and web3 many gamblers prefer he former than the latter.

Anyway, here is Yordenis Ugas's thought about the upcoming big fight.
Quote
“Fifty-fifty,” Ugas started telling ESNews recently. “Spence is strong, solid, he throws many punches. But Crawford, he’s a smart guy. This fight … 50-50."
https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/how-does-yordenis-ugas-see-errol-spence-jr-vs-terence-crawford-going/ugdfdbjzevj212kb1uhbepl7j
I am with him on this analysis. I cannot even tell who will win this match because both have their strengths. If this goes at a longer fight, Spence might win it because of the number of punches that he will throw. Crawford on the other hand would need to be aggressive to avoid that. Sure he is smart, but judges might see it differently and might rely on the number of thrown punches.

Many experts are divided on this fight, it could go either way and it will go to who wants it most, I'm sure their corners have scouted each other to see something that will give them an edge, this is going to be a very technical fight because both fighters carry the same skill, power and ring generalship boxing fans will not going to miss the fight, only two days, my excitement is double because one of the fighter I admire is fighting on their undercard which is Donaire, I expect both fighters to go for knock out but if the fight is too close the championship rounds could decide the fight
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 21, 2023, 08:34:37 AM
Ngannou is a force of nature and very gifted athlete but when it comes to pure boxing ...Tyson will smash him and I don't think we will pas over round 7 in my opinion.

This event is also an entertaining one and I do hope Ngannou will come prepare and give it all he has instead of just grab the money and lose the fight...but we are still very early to talk about what happen besides that Tyson will win  Grin

Up to this date, there is no MMA fighter who have successfully made a name and upsets a known boxer in a boxing fight, many have tried but it's just too good to be true because boxing is a very different sports compared to UFC or other martial arts that they have fought with. They might have a generous amount of power locked in their fists but that will not amount to nothing if they cannot land it perfectly and their stamina will deplete as the fight drags on which will give again an advantage to the boxer.

I hope Ngannou will be the first to do that, there's the first time in everything it's going to be a huge upset probably biggest than the Tyson - Douglas or the Joshua - Ruiz match checking the poll I'm surprised that many of us here believes Ngannou can win this match, we all want surprises I see Tyson as the favorite but I can accept if Ngannou can win the match, Fury has so many tricks in his sleeves I hope he has good corners, trainers and conditioning coaches this is the biggest fight in his career and this is something that will catapulted him to stardom and maybe greatness, its still a long way but I'm exciting how these two guys are training especially Ngannou.

Tyson   - 16 (55.2%)
Ngannou   - 13 (44.8%)

1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $20,000 to invest in any Altcoins of your choice? on: July 20, 2023, 10:30:44 PM
Can you please help with any Altcoins that coins that someone can invest on in this particular time.

I don't want to drop altcoins that I've invested but some members will do to shill the altcoins that they are promoting as bounty hunters or where they are a part of, instead of asking why not ask about features of altcoins that have the potential to exist long term and eventually make profit, because members will post quick profit or pump and dump coins to you, we are being flooded by these kind of altcoins because its easy to create a coin for pump and dump you will just hire shills and do bounty campaign.
But for a good project with good potential in the market, it will take time before you reap your profit but the profit is recurring and you will be proud that you are one of the early birds, so go for altcoins with potential for long term profit instead of pump dump coin check the market check the website check every feature then decide if these are the coins you're looking DYOR OR do your own research.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2023, 10:06:55 PM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and a lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? Or is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source

It's not about the risks but more so on entertainment and excitement you get from gambling let's admit it if you get lucky from gambling you can win ten times or even higher of investment or bankroll in one session before Bitcoin comes into existence, it already popular and casino platform are already making huge profit, its accepted openly in many countries compared to Bitcoin where even if they allow it to be traded its under strict regulation, government don't want people losing their money from investing but they are ok with people losing money in gambling because they believe this is the entertainment they got from gambling platform.
Both Bitcoin and casinos benefited from each other, they made each one popular Although investing in Bitcoin has less risk than gambling, gambling satisfies our human needs to be entertained.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 20, 2023, 09:10:55 PM
There's a saying Mother knows best, so true also for fathers, they just want the best for us and they don't want what they worked for in their business to go to waste because let's admit it this is gambling and there's always the temptation to lose everything, when it comes to gambling its hard to be in control all the time, there will be a point that you want to bet more or all because you don't want opportunity to lose, there is also FOMO in gambling.
You will also understand what your father feel when you become a father yourself, your father wants the best for your future and you feel the same for your son and gambling is not something that will lead you a good future, so gamble moderately so your father will not think that you are addicted to gambling

1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 20, 2023, 08:42:01 PM
There's a popular  remark among gamblers in the part of  my country I reside. The saying is expressed like this "if you quit that's when you lose"

Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?

Gamblers who believe on this is going to lose more this remark or saying only favors the casinos because the casino is going to make a lot of profit if a gambler continue to gamble, gamblers should quit when he is already losing and chasing your loses will cause you to lose more, responsible gamblers will never believe is such remarks it's ok to other sports but I don't think you can apply it with gambling because this is very harmful and will lead you to become addicted to gambling.
Don't believe on every saying when it comes to gambling always check if this will do you good or harm.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 19, 2023, 02:18:24 PM
I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it, instead of thinking that I can win all the money.
Easier said than done, have done this in the past, so many times in my playing time, I have been in a position where I could win a large amount if I will go out,  I thought I was in the best position but it blew out, just when we are so sure of our chances strange things happen, that's every gamblers' nightmare in my case it happens to me many times if you value your bankroll and you want to keep it so you can play next time or you won a good amount and you want to treat yourself you can cashout and avoid the temptation to win more.

1751  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much time for a Duelbits withdrawal? Been 24h+ on: July 19, 2023, 01:06:32 PM
I have wagered well over 1x. No I am not playing from a restricted territory.

I just contacted support again and they told me no need to contact them anymore, I just have to wait for their reply. Nobody knows what’s happening.
So far all accusations and issues have been addressed by Duelbits and the amount is five or ten times than yours if they say you need not contact them they are resolving your issue and you will soon receive emails informing you what happen and what you should do, what I like about Duelbits is they are quick to resolve issues, they don't want issues that last for months, they will try to resolve it to preserve their reputation.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 18, 2023, 11:53:12 PM

4. No clear use case: A legitimate crypto project should have a clear use case for its token. If a project cannot articulate a clear purpose for its token, or its use case seems vague or broad, it may be a scam.

Every bad project does not have this, they thrive on false marketing like shilling and FOMO, they do not have a use case to market and they promote potential profit.

Projects that do these things usually copy-paste existing projects, they copy what's trending and follow their path.

A use case is everything if they are not bringing something to do the community they are not for the term and they will die a natural death just like all the past shitcoins, we already have thousands of dead coins because they do not have something to back up their presence in the market.
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: cry-ex.com on: July 18, 2023, 10:03:26 PM
Welcome into this forum cry-ex.com!

Just to have few questions and recommendations;

1. Are you somewhat related to the site? Part of the team? Or simply a market or spreading out links?
~

You should take a look at his other threads and posts. He is the owner of the site. He got a ready-made gambling script from codecanyon. Apparently, his developer told him that the site was finished, which is obviously not the case. Now he is looking for a new dev who will fix his template, because he does not know how to do it himself.

All in all, not a good start for a gambling platform. And I do not think he should be thinking about marketing at this point.

If the script is from Codecanyon then the seller of that script has an obligation to help him configure the site because Codecanyon is very strict on their sellers he should not get a new developer because updates from the script will come from the sellers of the script contact the developer of the script if he really bought the script from Codecanyon or tell us where he bought the script from Codecanyon or from an independent developer.
And about marketing, it's going to be useless until he fixes the template issue.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in is no longer a KYC free casino! (New terms) on: July 17, 2023, 11:36:59 PM
It's a surprise coming from probably the oldest faucet/casino in the industry even if my country is not on the list of restricted countries I have second thoughts about continuing here because of their new feature which is the KYC.
I understand because of their license requirement, FreeBitco.in is the most promoted faucet many users especially those on the list and those who are not comfortable with KYC will have to leave FreeBitco.in I have a friend who has a big number of referrals and he is from US soil I guess that will end his journey and his residual profit here in FreeBitco.in

1755  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Someone stole my account on: July 17, 2023, 10:34:43 PM
I guess this will be the last time we are going to  hear from the Op, but just Incase you decide to reply, you should try to make your post more understandable and you can do that by providing the Bitcoin account you were referring of it was an exchange or a custodian wallet.

We are left speculating about what happens if the complaint is incomplete like this one, if complainants do not get back within 24 hours to follow up their complaint, there's a lack of seriousness on their part to get their issues resolved.
We cannot just give advice if these complainants cannot complete all the details we do not know what kind of advice to give but to complete the details.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: July 17, 2023, 03:58:00 PM

I feel you mate, I just found out last year too that there is this three-belt champion called Artur Beterbiev who is secretly dominating in the light-heavyweight division. I cannot deny that boxers in this category are not making enough noise in the division because there are some weight classes in the lower division that are quite packed compared to this division where we only know a handful of boxers.

There's not much noise when only one champion is ruling in one weight division like what Inoue is doing in his division, there's a huge demand for the Bivol - Beterbiev fight because they are the only fighters who's been ruling this division, once they met and one of them become an undisputed champion, the division is not challenging anymore.
Though welterweight is very different because its a category that is laden with talented boxers but in the light heavyweight everything is quiet here, there's not much controversy.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: July 17, 2023, 02:05:03 PM

He won't be an underdog because he won in their first fight. Although we may say that it's an upset win, the bookies had already adjusted for it since people already believe that Zhang is the real deal. Zhang is not fighting a fighter who has won a championship before, so that further solidifies why he is the favorite now.

And Zhang won it convincingly I used to believe that Joyce is ready to be a champion until he fought Zhang, Joyce is so good with his jabs when he fought Dubois but its nowhere to be seen when he fought Zhang he is intimidated by Zhang's punches.

If Zhang wins again he will become a serious threat to both Usyk and Fury but if Joyce wins I expect a third match to even the score unless Joyce wins by a knockout or stoppage if it's a decision the fans and Zhang will demand a third fight.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 17, 2023, 01:00:04 PM
I'm not someone who is against LGBTQ+,but when they get treatment like that from society, they should understand that most people today don't accept their existence. And rather than protesting, maybe it would be better if they could move to a place that accepts them or maybe they could build their own LGBTQ+ friendly casino platform or circle.
I also support LGBTQ+ People but they don't have to be isolated, all we need to do is to enlighten people and not discriminate the LGBTQ+ People and treat them like us like gamblers with no intention to insult them.
LGBTQ+ People are good people with have good contributions to society so it's just right that we value their contributions, and achievements and treat them with respect, although there are establishments that cater especially for LGBTQ+ People they should be welcome in all establishments we don't have to isolate them.
1759  Economy / Services / Re: ***Selling Space On Established Website For Advertisement/Blogposts*** on: July 17, 2023, 11:20:52 AM
I've checked your website and wonder why there is no page dedicated to advertisers, you're looking for advertisers but maybe one of your visitors who do not come from Bitcointalk wants to advertise but they do not have any idea if you're accepting advertisers because there is still none on your website, why not just create an advertiser widget and redirect it to a page where all the details on putting advertisement and benefits advertisers are going to get.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: Building a prosperous business on: July 17, 2023, 06:13:58 AM
Op need not post the content of the whole article he just has to extract a part of the article and then make a reference to the article

This reminds me of those finance youtubers and influencers, who actually get rich by selling you a course on how to get rich, they weren't rich before.

This is so popular in social media, especially on Tiktok and Youtube, there is a big demand for courses about how to get rich if we check these influencers they have many followers and they have many shares and likes, they are making money from teaching money how to get rich this is probably the best way to get rich, you do not only get rich and you've also become popular.
