So i have beancash in my beancash wallet.  I also still use blockfolio and notice price changes quite a bit with it... it was with bittrex.

So is there any exchange that currently uses bittrex yet?
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2019, 07:44:16 PM
It's possible especially if you will lend it to people who are into crypto. However, you should think of the risks that you might be facing. Crypto is volatile so there's no guarantee that they could return the Bitcoin that they have borrowed in time. You should lend it with the trusted people that you know. Why don't you invest and do trading using your bitcoins rather than lending it? I think that would be more profitable.
when you borrow with the cryptocurrency method it will create confusion when repayments, for example now you are borrowing $100 in exchange for the price of bitcoin in the current market conditions is high, whereas if you return with usd then the one giving the loan will lose because the bitcoin price falls, borrowers will profit when prices rise.
Its a risk from both sides. Lender will be at risk if the price of bitcoin will increase and borrower will be at the benefit of it.
Vice versa when bitcoin will decrease its price, borrower can easily pay even with interest if its lower than the time he borrows, lender will be at lost if he received the payment when its price is lower than the time he lend it.

I'm confused with this.  You say its a risk from both sides.  So you as lender lend bitcoin.  Price of bitcoin goes up and borrower will benefit from it.  But if the lender only plans to hold and doesn't not plan to sell soon, how does that matter to the lender?  So it benefits buyer because the profit they make from bitcoin going up means with the interest they pay the lender, its usually good enough to overcome the rate they are borrowing at?

Also if you lend btc to binance or some site, how are you getting paid in interest?  Example you lend 1 btc.  So do you get paid in btc interest like 0.1 btc or 0.03 btc or is it in usdt?  How long can you lend 1 btc for?  Say you want to lend 1 btc for 1 year, how much interest will you get and how are you getting paid?  Like is it after 1 year, okay now you get back 1.1 btc back?  Lets just assume you have no plans to sell that 1 btc the entire year so you willing to lend it.

1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 08:31:15 PM
Well if you can lend bitcoin, are you giving you interest in bitcoin?  Example you lend 1 btc... they pay you back like 1.05 btc?
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO - $2500 on: October 11, 2019, 07:54:59 PM
Isn't monero the number 1 privacy coin?  Shouldn't that mean a lot then?
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Funfair and Edgeless? on: October 11, 2019, 07:54:24 PM
Can someone explain why edgeless has went down to under 2 cents?
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 11, 2019, 07:53:50 PM
how is op doing right now?
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2019, 07:52:20 PM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?
1769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a full-time crypto trader. Here're my recent trades & answers to questions on: October 11, 2019, 07:35:37 PM
Didn't read whole thread but are you posting every single thread you do here?  How many days a day you do on average?
1770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 11, 2019, 07:35:05 PM
Binance charges 0.25% right?

How much does these exchanges charge?

1.  Coinbase
2.  Coinbase pro
3.  Gemini
4.  Bitstamp
5.  Kucoin

1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC/USD trading without Bank Account on: October 11, 2019, 07:22:51 PM
Wouldn't tether be the option for this usdt?

Example you buy btc with usdt.  Then when btc goes up, you sell it back for tether and vice versa?  That way you can accumlate usdt or btc?  Then say you want to cash out, you have to cash out btc.

Say you want to sell it to coinbase, well you have to pay one more trading fee since the btc has to be sold for usd.  Then you have usd.  Is that what you want to do?  Also its like you could send the btc from exchange to someone for cash in person right?  Thus that way no bank account needed?  Where are you located?  Us or outside the us?

So based on this wouldn't the exchange to do this be like binance?

Also coinbase would also work for this right?  But only difference is coinbase reports if you do over 200 transactions?  And they keep everything in usd as oppose to usdt?
1772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: October 11, 2019, 07:05:34 PM
I posted in this thread earlier and have few questions for Mark.

1.  Where are you located?  Us or another country?

2.  How much did you start with?  In terms of fiat and btc to do this.

3.  So you only trade btc only?  Do you recommend only trading btc?  Or btc and other usd coins like eth and litecoin and the big ones?

4.  Now when you buy btc at say 6k and sell it at 7k... is everything you keep in usd or tether usdt or do you always convert it back to btc?  Some ppl say when you trade, goal is to accumulate more btc.  But if you trading, shouldn't goal be to make more fiat profit thus usd?  Or even usdt?  Because here in title you say you made btc profit.

5.  But say you want to accumulate btc.  Wouldn't you be paying 2 fees each time?  Example with usd or usdt, you buy btc and get amount of btc.  Now price of price goes up a lot.  Now you sell btc for usd or usdt right?  So your balance most of the time is in usd or usdt when you are ready to buy soon?  But when you buy btc, do you usually have some usd or usdt left in case you want to buy more when btc dips?

6.  What exchange/site do you do this on?  Would you suggest someone trading only btc to use something like coinbase/gemini where selling and buying btc is fiat?  But say you use binance or exchange that use usdt... doesn't that make no sense since say you first have usd and buy btc at coinbase.  Then send btc to binance to buy/sell btc but each time you sell btc , you get usdt.  But if you want to convert this to real money which is usd... you need to buy btc again with usdt on binance and send btc to coinbase/gemini and then sell it for usd.  Its like you are paying trading fees twice? Of course that amount isn't that much but it can add up.

7.  What has been your worst month in term of profit and best month since you posted this?  Also you still keep everything in btc?  I mean if you do this full time, don't you need to sell it for usd for bank transfer for profit and living expenses?  Or you have enough for living expenses that you are just now accumulating btc?
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Used Computer Equipment For CryptoCurrency Unsafe? on: October 11, 2019, 02:49:04 PM
I just thought about something else.

What about if your laptop needs a new battery and say you buy one off ebay?  If you buy a new battery, but its obviously 3rd party and not genuine from manufacturer, any risk in that?  What about a used one or open box?  Can someone put malware in a laptop battery?
1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 09, 2019, 05:13:49 AM
What about you guys that like to go to coffee shops and browse online through your laptop?  Say you know the coffeeshop wifi password.  Is it still not good idea to use it?

Thus never log into your email even to the wifi from your coffeeshop?

So if thats the case, wouldn't that mean anytime you want to use wifi in a public area, you basically have to tether from your phone data only to be safe?

I mean tons of ppl go to coffeeshops and do work online etc and check things.

So what about those people then?  I mean say most don't have crypto but tons of ppl use wifi at coffeeshop to check email and do work online right?  So how is that safe for them then if they don't use crypto.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: October 01, 2019, 05:27:42 AM
Will take a look at this thanks.  But do most users move their waves here if they have a nano ledger?
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: October 01, 2019, 04:59:33 AM
Yes i know. so once you move your waves from the waves wallet to nano ledger, the seed for waves is no good right?

But you still access waves wallet through the waves client?  Or its nano ledger?  Or you have to use both?
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: October 01, 2019, 04:38:52 AM
But do most ppl move their waves to nano ledger or not?  So once you do that, the 15 word phrase you have for waves wallet is then useless?

Also but the other coins that you have on your waves wallet, it stays in the waves wallet right?  Im talking about all those rewards and airdrops etc.

Well if a flash drive can have, wouldn't a power bank for laptop can as well or not?  What if it has 2 usb ports but you only use the charger to charge the powerbank and connect it to your laptop to charge it?
