Err... 2 days ago?
Was he even able to post trust feedback at that time?

I've contacted him regarding him seeking a programmer for a project. I've worked on it for a bit and then decided I wasn't really interested. I've already expressed that to him before before, and then signed off from Skype. (I don't generally use skype unless I have a specific reason to talk to someone there, so I haven't signed back into skype for weeks).

No money or coins were exchanged. This event was months ago, and MNW suspects that I will steal the idea / assets and launch the project myself. I'm quite offended by that, but after talking to him I understood his point of view and MNW has had that happen to him before, even through he was trolling about how I should ask theymos for rebuttals in the trust system if I want to respond Roll Eyes

Keep in mind the trust feedback is about what he thinks I may do. It's not entirely unjustified however, if I was him I'd share similar feelings given the devotion he has for that project.

Quick question. I see that I can block transactions by lowering the 48-hour limit to zero. I assume this only means outgoing transactions, right? I would think this would have to be the case... but don't want any mix-ups loading my inputs.io acct.

Also, seems like it would be good to auto logout when tabs are closed. I was surprised to come back hours later and I was still logged in when I reloaded the page.
Yes, limits only affect outgoing transactions.

Your session is locked to your IP address and useragent. If someone has physical access to your machine, then you are screwed in every sense of the word - through the attacker must still figure out your PIN. The most malicious thing they could do without your PIN is delete your addressbook Tongue

But the thing is, what if he has a roommate? Tongue
There's actually been stories of room mates stealing Bitcoins (using a keylogger). If someone has physical access to your machine, then really no security measures will help.

We have had plans to move to a non-US, non-US host. This will be done soon.

A note about 2 factor: Please write down your secret. Resetting 2FA is at my own discretion to how suspicious it is - if you 'lost' your phone, suddenly signed in from Tor and also have tried to sign into 14 accounts, your 2FA will not be reset.

Hi Tolek,

As emailed, I will talk to the moderator that has banned you and see if it was made in error.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
1765  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of ongoing scams on: August 14, 2013, 06:11:31 AM
Then you are REALLY scamming the investors but scamming the players just a little... There are no "real" bets, only your own bot placing "fake" bets on the website.

I have never run a bot on Just-Dice.  The bots are run by real players.

How would it be to my advantage to run a bot against the site?  If as you say there are no real bets, only bets made by my bot, I've lost over 4600 BTC to the site.  90% of that goes to the investors, and 10% of it goes back to me as commission.  I don't see why I would do that.  Are you supposing I've paid thousands of BTC to investors just to make it look like the site is busy?  Or are the investors all fake too?

tmbp doesn't know about the invest bots then Cheesy Cheesy

dooglus: implement Inputs withdraws, pretty please?

People keep asking me about them Tongue
What exactly is the advanyage of inputs over any other web wallet?
You don't need to wait for confirmations (and no TX fees) if you're paying offchain. It's also the most secure web wallet, with 2FA, GPG auth, location based authorization, session listing & management, and automatic tor/proxy block if you have enabled that.

Sending coins also requires entering a PIN that you have to click on the pinpad. Standard keyloggers won't catch that - only a screen capturing malware can. They'd also have to do the request through your IP address otherwise you'd get an email alert.
1772  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and get fee rebates on your deposits! on: August 13, 2013, 02:57:29 AM

Could you add feature for automatically sending BTC from inputs.io? I mean, when I want to deposit to coinlenders from outside, I have to transfer to inputs.io, wait for at least 1 confirmation, and transfer again (inputs.io -> coinlenders). I propose that you could create a planned (future) payment, allowing me to efectivelly tell inputs.io "transfer x BTC from inputs.io as soon as it is confirmed".

Maybe this should be limited to only unconfirmed balance - you have x BTC unconfirmed, you can "send" those x BTC, but they are sent only when confirmed, otherwise cancel the transfer.

One alternative is no limit, allowing to schedule sending coins that aren't even unconfirmed. But this may be confusing.

Another alternative would appease all those who hate inputs.io: just a checkbox "send all received coins to coinlenders automatically". The most simple, and solves at least 90% of cases I guess.

A new confirmations system is been tested. Trusted users will see standard transactions with proper TX fees instantly credited if it's below a certain amount and no double spends was observed on the network for ~10 seconds.

1776  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why MP is your God. on: August 12, 2013, 11:06:04 AM
I wonder are people who accept this kids acting the target audience of an exchange. An exchange that stupid people need to pay 3000 USD to use. And there's nothing much more to trade except the exchanges stock itself.

But that's about enough about MPEX.
MPOE - BTCUSD options.

Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER

when trying to check sigs on blockchain.info.....

is this deliberate!!!!

while this is sorted out
blockchain.info has been sort of offline, for over 5 hrs already.

Moreover blockexplorer.com has also been stopped - somewhere yesterday.

hmm deliberate

but surley bitcoind can do this as well. a program tha compares sigs must be able to run through and auto check

You should have been emailed a copy of your wallet every time you made changes to it. Import it to Multibit with your passphrase.

It's bad PR for MPEX.

I think a lot of people disagree, and the people who agree you aren't the target audience for MPEx anyway.

I feel like that one is pure time waste XD

Do you use socket.io? If yes, I'm probably able to crash your server.
