c'mon man keeping a million dollars in a hot wallet and hope for the best.

a big boy in the btc world like you would know nothing good comes of that?

In hindsight it was a completely idiotic idea Sad

Perhaps you should look at the outgoing transactions. Please understand that there is a huge backlog for Inputs.

Ips are from Australia where you are located... TOTALLY NOT AN INSIDE JOB.
That's expected, and the attacker rented an Australian server to proxy as close to my geographical location so it won't raise alarms with email recoveries. Wouldn't you think if it was an inside job, I'd use another IP?
1043  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 07, 2013, 04:13:47 AM
The hack was not an inside job. I find people who accuse that insulting.

I understand that's not proof. There's little that I can do to prove that I'm not the hacker, through.

what about coinlenders balance then?
can we give you a bitcoin address and you send us our coins?

You lost your money, what don't you understand?

Possibly. Also possible that some coinlender assets were in a separate wallet or that there are loans due to cover some of the coinlender deposits.
Yep, but CL used Inputs as it's wallet. CL still has some assets and people did not lose all of their money. Send an address to support@inputs.io

did that, when to expect something?
The coming days.

This doesn't look good, https://inputs.io shows this message.

404 BTC not found

Two hacks have left Inputs unable to pay

Woah, this admittedly IS looking bad now Sad TradeFortress, please give us an update?
I have some feelings that you won't see any updates from Inputs.io!  Sad

I just replied to your email, asking for your Bitcoin address.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Play or Invest : 1% House Edge : Banter++ on: November 05, 2013, 12:32:56 AM
A full update will be posted soon, don't panic. Only people with the API key enabled was compromised (and will be reimbursed), passwords are securely stored one way in the database.

Security is obviously the most important thing to a Bitcoin wallet, and it's unfortunate that a compromise occurred, and we're learning a lot from it (things that pentests won't catch).

There will be a full update soon, but this compromise was not through a fault of the code but rather like a 'side channel' attack.

The attacker was able to empty the balance on accounts with the API key enabled. The issue is being actively looked upon. API access has been disabled.

Everyone who has lost money will be fully reimbursed.

You haven't edited your config file.
1052  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: November 04, 2013, 09:56:28 AM
btcQuick shares will not be lost, we have access to some basic info such as bitcoin address and the number of shares with that address. We are still working on this situation and should have a significant update soon.

i think bitfunder is now working fine for those who get verified...is that btcquick unable to log in ?
BitFunder isn't allowing any assets from US issuers.
1053  Other / Meta / Re: Would it be hard for theymos to implement a list of recent posts that quote me? on: November 03, 2013, 10:59:18 AM
If it is done when someone makes or edits a post and it checks for quotes in the post, it shouldn't be too processing intensive.

There was no Fee rebate for my account balance today (2013-11-03). Will we receive it later?
Issue with cron, the fee rebates should've just went out.
1055  Other / Meta / Re: whiskers75 Hacked on: November 03, 2013, 05:30:12 AM
Thanks for the report, this has been patched Smiley

Do I get a bounty? Cheesy

I'll test it out later and ensure it is patched correctly.

If you feel compelled to tip for any reason: http://1v.io/m8r-74xku9@mailinator.com

Note: I haven't actually scammed anyone, this account received a precautionary scammer tag.

You only receive a bounty / reward if you disclose something responsibly (ie email it to support@inputs.io). Let us know if you have any other reports.

Is ukyo's real data known? Even though he is a old member... he has stress with other tasks and i dont understand what he does.

I should demand interest and compound interest for the loan.

Edit... ok, it looks he isnt anonymous and some guys know him. He has much work to do. But i really would like communication.
Yes, he's not anonymous.q
1057  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need a partner to help develop a website on: November 03, 2013, 03:19:04 AM
No component developer is going to work with you on a profit split basis, and you do not want an incompetent developer to develop your site. If you have a budget of less than $1000 for anything but the most trivial sites, find something else to be doing.
1058  Other / Meta / Re: CSS errors in forum on: November 03, 2013, 03:17:54 AM
Yeah, I think that one of your extensions is messing with the forum's CSS somehow.
I may have isolated the Ghostery extension as one cause.

I created a completely new Firefox profile and re-installed each extension, testing several websites after each one.
Everything was fine until I installed Ghostery, when the images behind this forum's navigation tabs disappeared.
This happened even before I enabled Ghostery's blocking (by default it should block nothing), just installing is enough to mess up the page.
A pity, as I really liked Ghostery's blocking of all the tracking and spyware that's on almost every webpage these days.

I also discovered several extensions have no clean uninstall in Firefox and they leave a mess of configuration settings behind.

Thanks for all the feedback though, I'll keep this Ghostery-less profile only for trusted websites and continue testing in another profile.

I use Ghostery on FF and I don't see what you describe.
1059  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BTCINVEST - Low risk investment fund | Market cap: 2000+ BTC on: November 03, 2013, 03:13:45 AM
1. Find your address here (it's your public bitfunder address)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135157.msg3412811#msg3412811

2. Sign a message with that address including BTCINVEST and your email address.

3. Email the message, signature, and your btc address to btcinvest@glados.cc

Seriously, is there ANY legitimate reason for this to be occurring?

The bottom line?

If you're unhappy with their unspoken business model, don't use it. Simple as that.
