1361  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE and SatoshiCircle under sustained DDoS... who could it be? on: September 25, 2013, 01:53:26 AM
hey,
satoshidice, making ludicrious claims, they havent innovated anything in over a year and a half,

betcoin.tm is much more reliable, they have both onchain and offchain, havent seen them ever down due to a ddos,
pay out over 100+ btcs instantly and EVERYTIME!
plenty of different games to choose, and seems like they are always adding new ones,
they always talk with customers to see how they can improve and making the gaming experience better,
there support is reliable polite and professonal,

satoshidice? dont know if anyone can even trust them anymore, ive had only bad experiences with them, customer service never replied to me, there onchain betting takes forever to pay back, leaves me thinking they are changing up some kind of rolls overthere in the backround, honestly when im waiting to see if i won or not, they could be mixing stuff up over there in the kitchen and i have no idea,

play betcoin.tm try it you will see its much better!

elazar

SD Onchain betting doesn't "take forever." It takes one block typically. If BetCoin is paying out without waiting for a block, they are in for a very ugly surprise soon.

Your FUD regarding "changing up some kind of rolls" doesn't make any sense. Every roll is verifiable, and BetCoin copied the same verification method. In fact, I now see BetCoin has ripped off yet another part of SD - it copied word for word the Terms and Conditions agreement. BetCoin operates under the laws of Costa Rica, does it?  Roll Eyes

SD has had dedicated customer support for a while now - we help people very quickly.

Stop schilling for a dishonorable business.

I can't connect, i've already changed my hosts file.
Try removing the hosts entry now (the DNS should have propagated). If that doesn't work, contact support@inputs.io

Please email support@inputs.io with your server IP address
1365  Other / Meta / Re: Add BitMessage to additional profile fields. on: September 25, 2013, 12:42:08 AM
AFAICT, BitMessage is seriously flawed in several ways, so I don't expect it to exist in the long-term (in its current form, at least). So I don't want to promote its use.
Perhaps there could be a custom contact field so you can enter "BitMessage: BM-..." or "Tox.im: [keyid]" or "GPG fingerprint: [fingerprint]".

If anyone still can't access Inputs.io, send support@inputs.io an email - DNS changes should have propagated by now.
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: GigaDice.com | 1% House-Edge | FREE BTC | PayPal, Bitcoin, PerfectMoney Cashouts on: September 24, 2013, 07:52:21 AM
Looking at your verification page I was under the assumption that the client seed DOES affect the rolled number.

Is the result generated in advance of when I click on bet?
1368  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Best Simple PHP code to SEND and RECEIVE bitcoin to an address? on: September 24, 2013, 07:49:52 AM
Thanks. Thats actually very helpful.

Is inputs.io better than blockchain.info? What are the Pros and Cons of using each?

inputs.io
free sending between inputs.io wallets
free mixer
you must trust the site owner with your BTC

blockchain.info
control over your private keys
site does not access your BTC

i might be wrong on some of these but i think it gives a good idea
Wrong, blockchain.info has access to your private keys if you use their API.

1369  Economy / Securities / Re: Migrate to Bitfunder or Havelock? on: September 24, 2013, 07:45:59 AM
BitFunder has more assets on it.

Still can't access it. I try to login and it returns "this web address is not available".
You need to edit your hosts file or change your DNS servers. Going on your phone does not fix it, however your phone probably has a different set of DNS servers which may have already updated to the new records.

I've edited my host files. And in the process of changing DNS servers.

Edit: Phone did access. But, now it's been blocked.
Not sure what you mean by "blocked", it's working fine here and cloudflare handles all the auto blocking.

Did you see this?

1371  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: September 24, 2013, 06:48:19 AM
assuming that you have some inverse proxies (like nginx) in front of your servers that keep applications from excessive load.

Just my 2 cents... Good luck.

The DDoS was able to overload nginx and even a very light Node.js proxy server.

How long does it take for a withdrawal from CoinLenders.com to show up in my Inputs.io account? While it's only been 5 minutes since the withdrawal, the advertised instant payments are surprisingly non-instant Sad
It should be instant, although there was an issue with CL's IP not being whitelisted. Contact admin@glados.cc and I'll sort it out Smiley
1374  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: September 24, 2013, 05:17:03 AM
It's available again.
My withdrawal is not going through just FYI... I know inputs.io had some issues from DDoS earlier didn't know if that had anything to do with it or not, sent you an email
Fixed
1375  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Glados Faucet (No Fees)(24 Hour Faucet) on: September 24, 2013, 03:58:08 AM
You probably want to email support@inputs.io with your server IP so it is whitelisted through our DDoS protection.
1376  Economy / Marketplace / Re: CoinChat Referral Contest #2 - 5,000 mBTC prize pool! Auto updating stats! on: September 24, 2013, 01:27:41 AM
marcrotheminer has been disqualified for having all referrals coming from the same IP..

That was kind of expected, he seems to me to be a user who will abuse rules in order to gain BTC. Clearly he's not that much of a bright light, if he was going to referral spam at least use a VPN.
Or try to act like a different person.
1377  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: September 24, 2013, 01:26:58 AM
Shit it's paytime again.  Jusy fyi for the noobs this will be my third month.  TF has been fair and always pays.  Might be a day or two into the next cycle but it always happens
Paid up to here, to 1M72Sfpbz1BPpXFHz9m3CdqATR44Jvaydd as requested.
1378  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: September 24, 2013, 01:03:19 AM
I'll bite. 1v.io/kluge

What is accepted format for IIO GPG fingerprints? I tried... .... Hey, that's clever - I can't copy text off the site. Cheesy
Format I'm given is 40 characters (10 sets of four characters, spaced). Tried spaced and unspaced. Won't accept either. Am I missing something obvious?

ETA2: Can the IIO vanity address be dropped from sig? Makes it look like a referral link.
Try just first 16 characters unspaced.

Yes, the 1v.io link can be dropped.
1379  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: September 24, 2013, 01:02:20 AM
I am withdrawing from this offer as of 9.23.13. I understand shit can become out of control.  I also understand that inputs is a startup and does not have the staffing to keep everyone happy.  But I do believe that you TF had time today to provide more detial as to what the fuck happend.  I would still like to see the time spent rewarded. However I want nothing more to do with this project or the promotion of it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=295211.0

You can send my earnings to the address in that thread. I believe those folks could use the money more then you or I.  I respectfully say good luck to you.  And best wishes to all still in.

There's not much more towards that we're being hit with a sustained DDoS attack.
1380  Other / Meta / Re: XSS Exploit on bitcointalk.org on: September 24, 2013, 01:00:31 AM
no need to be a dick about it.  yes i know what xss is.  thats what my antivirus reported.
An image is not a script, it can't do anything harmful unless you are on a very ancient browser.
