1781  Economy / Economics / Re: Birth of Bitcoin in microfinance industry on: January 17, 2021, 04:30:13 AM
Microfinance industry using bitcoin to support the development/upliftment of individuals is really a good plan. Whenever we think of bitcoin to be used on any of the sector, it is must to think of the volatility. If the market turns downward in a short time period after the fund is being provided with low interest.
That was the first problem that I have thought of, the inherent volatility of bitcoin is still a problem within the bitcoin market. Microfinancing is a difficult one because there will be some borrowers that will not be willing to pay at the right time, not to mention that this idea will not be tied to financial institutions that can help the founder when it comes to getting back the loaned money. If I may, I also want to throw in an idea, instead of a microfinance why not try investment where you let the money sit in a stable coin and do some trading with the half of the funds.
1782  Economy / Economics / Re: The most likely scenario coming bitcoin digital gold new bretton wood system on: January 17, 2021, 03:48:34 AM
If they were to create a new system, I do not think that bitcoin will be considered for a nation's reserve because first of all, it will be difficult for superpower nations to do that because there will definitely be oppositions and not to mention that banking and financial institutions will do anything in their power to not be replaced by digital currency. Also, USD as a reserve currency has already taken its root too deep in many countries so it will be difficult to remove those roots.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammers have a hard time with grammar on: January 16, 2021, 08:53:50 AM
To be fair if we were to use quality of grammar as our measure we could safely ignore 90% of the posts on Bitcointalk ... 🙂
Not everyone has English as their first language though, I assume that you are just being sarcastic but come on, cut those people some slack because at the very least they are trying their best. Regarding this website, this is the best red flag that anyone could see when they are unsure if that website is a dubious one. It is not grammar that the scammer was having a hard time, it was probably a mistype that was not noticed because of how miniscule it is.
1784  Other / Off-topic / Re: World remain always same on: January 16, 2021, 08:06:42 AM
Thats why I live with the saying "Its not your fault if you were born poor, but it is your fault if you die poor."
The people of South Sudan will disagree with you. If you haven't tasted hardship and desperation then you do not have a right to say those words to other people because some people got dealt with real bad cards that the only option is to fold.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: INSTITUTIONAL MONEY changes everything !!! How BitCoin gets to 100,000 Next on: January 16, 2021, 07:31:08 AM
This cycle is going to be a super cycle, I think $100,000 is conservative for the top to be honest. It’s going to be like an absolute avalanche of money flowing into bitcoin once true FOMO starts.
Not being a party pooper but right now we need to break through the 40k resistance before going to this number. It will be difficult at this moment because people will be selling their coins along the way as the market prices increase.
1786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy / sell? Nothing but bad luck so far. on: January 16, 2021, 06:37:20 AM
Whenever the bitcoin prices spike, I see a couple of accounts being created and making such a thread crying about their big loss, many times about MtGox or some other exchange hack. Might be purely a coincidence, because nothing can be proven here being the internet.

I would still suggest going for the legal route in the MtGox incidence. No idea what condition it is in currently but fact that you never did get involved in the money lost makes me wonder.
Everyone wants to share their so called story so nothing we can't do about that, rule of the Internet, take every information and testimonies with a grain of salt.Mt.Gox incidence is a thing of the past, claiming at this moment will not be taken seriously, besides the owner is sentenced and a double jeopardy is a big no-no. The problem back then was that they trusted Mt.Gox with their bitcoin, there were wallets back then so why still go that route. If you want to invest, you might as well aim for the long term because the bull run might be over very soon.
1787  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Stellar phishing site on: January 16, 2021, 05:46:03 AM
Once you click Get Started it downloads you this:

I have no idea what it is, but it's mostly a malware/virus. So, be aware! I hope I caught it up, when I clicked "close".
Get your anti virus ready and scan your computer because malwares are one tricky program that can hide itself. If you can, reset your computer to default, the problem with these one is the files on your computer will be deleted too. Advice for you, if you were to do this again in the future, fire up some Virtual Machine so you can be at ease when you are opening one, make it two layered VM to be extra safe.
1788  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adkinsbet .com scam 210mBTC on: January 16, 2021, 05:05:42 AM
What seems to be the problem here, arbitrage bets are an accepted thing to do when gambling. OP I think this is a clear scam for me, the reasons for your account freeze is not that bad and I think a more lenient punishment could have been the answer.
We have already asked you 4 times by Email if you want to send your documents in connection with the KYC procedure.
We will not get any answer from you. The first time we asked you this was already 5 weeks ago. We only receive emails as replay with the text "WITHDRAW SEND MONEY"
It would have long been resolved if you had sent the required documents, but you refuse to cooperate.  I repeat: We have asked this 4 times on Email, but no reply from the customer.
Like I already mentioned before, if people do not want to cooperate, we can not be of any assistance. The situation arises 5 weeks ago, and now you are making an accusation?
Why do you need a KYC of your customers? There is a reason that they did not want to reveal their identity when they are gambling and the amount is not that big so it will be impossible to say that it is a money laundering scheme. And the reply to you about sending the money I think is the easiest thing that you can do, I do not get why all this crypto gambling sites need that KYC in the first place, is the profit not enough if you are doing a fair business? Ask yourself this, why would someone get ahold of someone's gambling account when there is little to nothing to be stolen from it?
1789  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Attention] Amepay didn't pay their participants for 4th and 5 weeks campaign. on: January 16, 2021, 04:29:33 AM
That seems to be a bad move for the BM, if you can't pay your participants for a week or two, at the very least be open for contact and make sure that you are there to insure that they will get their pay, talk to them in the thread for your bounty and make them understand the situation because hope becomes despair when there is no contact between the provider and the receiver. I hope that they can resolve this problem or at the very least make up to their mistake and pay the remaining balance.
1790  Economy / Services / Re: Crypto Signals Strategies - Testers Required on: January 16, 2021, 03:37:21 AM
The first signal strategy for Bitcoin and Stellar are now available. BTCUSD reached its objective, XLMUSD did not provide an entry. The strategy is now available to everyone as the entries are exhausted.
Why would you help us get a good profit by giving signals for some trades, what is in it for you in this scheme? If I know the signal I would not make it public, maybe create a consortium with my friends where we are the only one that gets the trading signal and we are the only one that gets the profit. Don't you think that it is pretty counterintuitive that you are giving away a good trading signal for many to exploit, wouldn't that affect the market that is being signaled?
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K on: January 16, 2021, 02:52:58 AM
Bitcoin is quite stable at the 30k - 40k range and we don't know when bitcoin will be able to break 60k range even when bitcoin is not even broken 50k range too.
We must be a real person. Even when bitcoin can break it and it doesn't mean 100k can be achieved instantly.
We will see whether the chart is still showing the bullish signal or otherwise the opposite thing will happen. It seems like bitcoin failed to break 40k resistance.
Understandably, 100k is still a dream for many of us and being practical and realistic about the situation is the most rational approach. We will never know, speculations tend to come true and everyone back then did not believe that bitcoin will ever reach a certain amount but then it happened, there is no divine mystery behind, it is all just a matter of time that we will reach this mark and everyone will be celebrating. Investors are still pouring their money so the resistance might be broken in just a matter of time now.
1792  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-Toro Buyers might face possible BTC limitations on: January 16, 2021, 02:16:06 AM
This can only mean that the prices will go up and everyone will be fighting neck to neck to get their hands into some satoshi. Hopefully, they can solve this problem with their buy orders. AFAIK eToro only deals with stocks but I am quite surprised that they are dealing with cryptocurrency too, I hope that they do some expansion at that department like putting other crypto besides bitcoin.
1793  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 15, 2021, 07:19:41 AM
To be honest, this is not the right time to buy bitcoin because the market and the bitcoin was very high. You will just experience heavy losses when the bitcoin dumps. Many people are selling their bitcoin when the price hits over $32,000 but now the price is pumping again and nearly to go $40,000 again. I suggest that wait the bitcoin to dump then you can buy so that you can sell it when the value of it pumps again.
Waiting for a dump is really difficult because you will be second guessing if that will be the lowest point at the moment or it could go down further. I think if your goal is a short termed one then I think it will be bad for you to buy at this moment because the prices are still running high but if you are the long termed one then there is no problem if you were to start buying one now.
1794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2021, 06:11:02 AM
If you are a newbie, you should avoid using capital from borrowed money when trading Bitcoin. Don't because you see Bitcoin's extraordinary
performance, then you are very sure that you will make a profit from Bitcoin and decide you want to use capital from a bank loan. You have to
remember that the price of Bitcoin is very volatile, so it could be that suddenly the Bitcoin price falls very deep. So my advice for newbies when
starting to trade Bitcoin, use it from a small capital. If you have started to be able to analyze Bitcoin movements well, start increasing your
capital gradually.
I was about to this when I stumble across a similar post. I was a newbie trader and some tutorials made me cocky that I think that I can get the money back when I do some loans. Hopefully, that post made me realize and reflect on the actions I should take before going in because no one will definitely save me when shit hits the fan. Best advice that I have learned about is to have a safety net to prevent the possibility of spending the funds that I will be using for trading for daily needs and stuff.
1795  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning about scifimike12 (might be hacked/bought account) on: January 15, 2021, 05:29:53 AM
I don't say that this is a hacked or bought account but for sure is a red flag to wake up after 8 years (!) and your first post to be a loan request.
If only he did not do that, I think that there will be no suspicion against him. I have to agree, that it is pretty suspicious that he will be doing a loan after a deep sleep, no harm being suspicious against him though so I think it is better that way.
1796  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for an up-coming bitcoin/monero userless escrow platform on: January 15, 2021, 04:40:00 AM
The only thing that I can ask for your platform is that there is no hassle when using it. Escrow transaction should not be that time consuming or complicated right? If you can do that then you are on a good path. Others have mentioned what they want and I hope that you can do what they are requesting because they might become a potential visitors.
1797  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the ways I can get scammed on a P2P platform such as localbitcoins? on: January 15, 2021, 04:05:04 AM
This probably should go without saying, but be on the look out for social engineering, or ways that the seller/buyer can influence your view, and convince you to do something other than the accepted practice. The thing is with any person to person interaction, you are allowing them to be able to use their initiative, and potentially skirt around the process. This is how most scams are done, basically they make up an excuse, or they send a link, and get you to log in to something, or anything like that. As already mentioned, whenever they ask you to go off site, ignore it, and probably cease dealing with that user. Since, if they've tried to get you off site, even if you were to successfully go through the official site, then you don't know if they actually own that money, they are sending you.
Social engineering scams are easy to identify even though they are the best way to scam someone. I have a checklist when it comes to this kinds of attack.

  • If you suddenly felt an extreme positive emotion or sometimes negative emotion when you read an email or something in the possibility then the chances are higher that it is a social engineering attack. To combat this, try to compose yourself and take breathers, a calm and collected mind is the weakness of this kind of attack.
  • If the latter does not happen, then there will be a sense of urgency that will be imposed upon you by the perpetrator, this is a tactic among scammers to make you think under pressure which makes you do stupid things.
  • If possible try to meet the person from the other side of that message, that way you can easily identify him/her if they have a record about scamming people.
  • Common sense is the big factor too, if you know that you haven't encountered that group/person in the first place then best is to ignore them. Works 10 out of 10
1798  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The easiest crypto social media site by Speedking (FREE) on: January 15, 2021, 03:23:25 AM
Do you know a Free Forum is inside specially for you

KingEx.xyz
Did you know that bitcointalk.org is a free forum for everyone too? If you think so, then why advertise that website when all it does is the same as this forum does with the added benefit of you being able to connect to more people real easy because they feel more at home here. Your domain name will not be that good because it is easily forgettable, in a world where .com is the God, you do not want to be a .xyz.
1799  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Roobet.com Signature Campaign | The Honest Online Casino | Full Members+ on: January 14, 2021, 07:20:17 AM
~
Read the topic title before post, it's CFNP (Close For New Participants) no positions opened so far, better luck next time until @Hhampuz announce it.
My bad, should have known better, maybe next time I will get to join in hopefully. Maybe next time my application will still be accepted until then I must accumulate some more merits.
1800  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 14, 2021, 06:41:29 AM
This definitely just a water put into a vaccine bottle to make it look like they were really selling vaccines, they might even put the chemical name of water in that, to make sure that no one will be a victim of this. AFAIK only governments are the only one that can do a transaction with the pharmaceutical companies when it comes to vaccines so be vigilant about this cause most of them are fake, especially in the Darknet where scams is as abundant as websites.
