1281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 14, 2021, 09:57:02 AM
It seems to me that the best option is to invest in several different assets.
Not for @virtualdn, he/she is doubling down on investing only on bitcoin and he/she has a high chance of making a really big profit and I hope that @virtualdn has a job so he/she won't have to worry about using the bitcoin money in an untimely manner.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sumo betting seems rigged - can you make profit with it? on: May 14, 2021, 09:15:20 AM
There is no games in the world that are not rigged. It's just that few games are easy to rig than others. Sumo wrestling is definitely easier to rig than many other games because there are only two people who playes within the arena.

While I don't support fixing a match in any form or shape. You can still make good profit out of rigged game only if you have contacts with the right people. Otherwise you are doomed.
If people knows a thing or two about integrity then fixing games is not going to be a problem but knowing human behavior that wants to have more than the other humans, virtues isn't going to be a deterrent to them, and they will still do the rigging. That is a difficult thing to happen, to find a connection in the rigging circles means you are an important person in the surface or the underground because only the people at the upper ranks engage in rigging.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] LUIS NERY vs BRANDON FIGUEROA Super Bantamweight World Championship on: May 14, 2021, 08:32:20 AM
Luis Nery used to be a really promising prospect but then he failed a PED test and weight issues and his career has never really recovered. He worked with Freddy Roach for a few weeks then he switched to Canelo's trainer, Eddy Reynoso, but he left him also. You can not have that much instability and still be a great fighter. I still think he is good enough to beat Figueroa, who will be fighting the first dangerous opponent of his lackluster career.
This is basically a comeback fight for Nery and a rise to stardom fight for Figueroa. That PED test is pretty problematic for me to decide as to who I am going to bet on because I don't find Figueroa that strong, maybe I will let this one slide.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 14, 2021, 07:47:04 AM
I feel like this sort of thing is becoming more common over the years in professional sports. Before 20 years ago this sort of thing would have been unheard of. Shoeless Joe Jackson is still known 100 years later for pulling this sort of stunt. I’m not sure if there’s any way to stop this from happening. Even if they paid the players more the criminals would just target the officials. It’s a serious problem that undermines sports as well as gamblers.
Teach our future generations the value of integrity and not being shadowed over by corruption, we will slowly be able to destroy the mentality and the business of rigging sports. Also, if we put a more sharper fangs on laws that are prosecuting game fixing/rigging then we will reduce people trying to do it since they know how serious it is.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: May 14, 2021, 07:03:58 AM
~
You have been joining signature campaign All your account lifetime here in forum and now your telling us that you have not yet gain enough in signature campaigning? looks like this is not an honest post  Grin
Well dumbass, this is my first signature campaign for awhile and the last payout I have is a measly amount so what can it buy? Also not all the campaigns I have joined in lasted that long or have accepted me during application.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: May 14, 2021, 06:21:15 AM
I haven't got a lot in my signature campaigns yet so I can't say I spent it on something, I have some things in my mind when the time comes that I will spend my earnings in signature campaigns.
1287  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-05-05 CNBC - Bitcoin is coming to hundreds of U.S. banks this year on: May 13, 2021, 01:31:05 PM
I understand why they do it, but will many people be interested in it?
I'm sure that many will be interested in it because the banks that will integrate it will probably be advertising and recommending this to their clients and you know how the masses think, if it interests them, they will probably buy it.
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC in the $xxx, xxx price zone on: May 13, 2021, 12:30:17 PM
Since the Simp Lord Elon Musk stopped accepting Bitcoin and put out there a post crying about Bitcoins environmental issues, I think it's less likely to happen since a herd of blind sheep following him will start the panic selling. I wish the world was not as dumb and Bitcoin's price wasn't influenced by one person.
As if that is going to happen forever, bitcoin will recover this kind of thing will probably be forgotten in a months time because bitcoin has already recovered by that time and how are you sure that it won't reach that point, there are still 7 months left for bitcoin to reach that price point, I am pretty sure that there is going to be more in store for bitcoin, we can't always expect good news.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Songs about Bitcoin & the world of digital currencies that you have never heard on: May 13, 2021, 11:40:10 AM
The one that I have watched is the Bitcoin rap battle debate: Hamilton vs. Satoshi and I think  it could be a good way to spread message about bitcoin, they are entertaining and they can elicit a healthy discussion because they give points that do make sense.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla no longer accepts Bitcoin payments on: May 13, 2021, 10:58:18 AM
This is proof why you shouldn't trust guys like Elon. If you buy or sell according to the words of such people, this will be the end. Elon continues to make money again.
Not everyone will follow what you said, there will be people that will find reason as to why they want to follow Elon. The problem is that people buy when it is announced which is already too late because by that time the prices already pumped, if you know how to monetize the trends then you should continue doing so.
1291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 13, 2021, 10:16:54 AM
Seriously when I came across this post on Facebook I was pissed, he was introducing his both goats as max and bitcoin. Funny but tarnishing the name of bitcoin, I don't see any need to talk bad or condemn something because you're not practicing the act. Now calling a goat bitcoin ain't nice is just like saying facebook is trash in public, that only is a bad name to the business.... Or I think he's trying to be like elon musk but thr difference is elon got more attention and is a crypto investor unlike mark.
You good? Is there something wrong naming the goat "Bitcoin"? Where's the shame in that exactly? I mean people are entitled how they want to do things around them and a lot of people don't seem to mind that he did name it so what exactly irks you?
1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 13, 2021, 09:37:33 AM
You would be worried if you panic sold your bitcoin when the prices but if you are still hodling, why worry about that also you have to understand that this drop in prices could be a good thing for everyone because they can buy more bitcoin at the same price.
1293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IRS now wants to Hack Hardware Wallets on: May 13, 2021, 09:00:38 AM
The US government is doing what I consider illegal to attack people's personal wallets. What am I going to do with my money now that I don't know much about the units that store cryptocurrencies? The wallets are only third-party entities that help store Bitcoin. Should I bring all my Bitcoins to a mixer or convert them to Monero?
As if that's a new thing, they have been spying on their citizens remember? They also have been instilling dictatorship in third-world countries for a long time, have a lot of black sites to torture prisoners and innocent people, and hacking hardware wallets of their citizens is just a walk in the park compared to all that they did so no surprises there. If it ever comes to that point, you better hide your HW somewhere like a drug trafficker.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without electricity on: May 13, 2021, 07:37:53 AM
If the world was suddenly without electricity we'd have much bigger problems than currency.
Exactly, money is the least of our worries because our civilization just warped back in stone age condition when all of electricity around the world is shut off indefinitely, and with the first 24 hours, millions are going to die.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk and Tesla's BTC conspiracy on: May 13, 2021, 06:54:22 AM

Do you really think he will see a significant reduction in sales? I don't think there are that many people who were going to buy Tesla with bitcoin or are upset about this (even if they were going to buy it in fiat) and are no longer going to do so because of this.

That's what OP might want us to think of this situation, he must be a full time Elon hater. The sales of Tesla will still go up because people are still going to buy it with fiat and just because people are using crypto doesn't mean that we are special people, there are millions of customers that will pay fiat.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need save Ross Ulbritch now! on: May 12, 2021, 11:28:35 AM
Why would we save someone that made the drug trafficking around the world much more available through the world via the Internet? I don't get the appeal of sympathizing with this person.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: May 12, 2021, 10:05:40 AM
I am waiting for the moment when I sell btc from my ownr and trust wallets. But still continue hodl.
I hope that when you sell your bitcoins that you will get a big profit out of it, people who have strong hands deserve to get their just rewards for hodling. The first time is always the best thing to happen in almost anything.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: May 12, 2021, 09:04:12 AM
Will this affect the price of Bitcoin? Most likely, yes. But I doubt Facebook will announce it.
Facebook will have no choice but to announce it they are a public company and they have to be at the least transparent to their investors as to where they are putting their money.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixing your Bitcoin might become illegal in the future on: May 12, 2021, 08:22:05 AM
Let's look at it like this.

Money laundering will always be illegal, regardless of fiat or crypto. You're trying to hide dirty money, that's always a crime today in the past and in the future.

But mixing Bitcoin does not equal money laundering and the mere activity of going into a business and making your money trail more private? That can't ever be a crime. Otherwise our regular use of fiat is wrong.
The problem with mixing though is that there is no other way for it so it can compromise with authorities, for me I wouldn't risk letting mixers loose knowing that they can be used for crimes like money laundering or tax evasions. Think of it like this, there is a bowl of with 100 M&Ms and around 20 of them are poisonous and will kill you instantly, no way to tell if they are poisonous, I am sure that no one is going to risk taking it unless they are suicidal or have a death wish.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 12, 2021, 06:50:18 AM
his life was a roller coaster because too many times he fall and got back up . now that he is in top again i hope he stays there  .
its wrong that he blames the casino promotion because this made him addicted but casinos are only doing it for business .
sorry but if there is one to blame here that was himself because he dont have a control .
the guy has an existing mental health problem and this made the situation worst but he should treated it first before getting into gambling .
The problem is that he has a bad rehabilitation on his addiction, in my opinion any addiction treatment/rehabilitation should consist of pre-care, main care and after care, and I like to emphasize on after care because that's the point where a lot of people do a relapse. Gambling addiction is like any other addiction, it needs treatment and people can get addicted again.
