1161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: May 28, 2021, 01:29:45 PM
I would say that a good exchange has a lot of users and whenever I search for their reputation, I always see more positive reviews rather than the negatives. They also should have a really good customer relations. Also, there should be an array of coins to choose from that you can trade.

We don't know what future holds. Keep in mind that Bitcoin was traded at under 1$ in 2010. Would you believe it reached almost 65k in 2021? Since we talk about a really long period of time, anything can happen.
You might be right but the uncertainty behind it is pretty high, maybe if bitcoin hits a 6 digit mark, my doubts might waver
~
There are birds that do the same. We should be smarter than that.
Considering how there are stupid people who believe that vaccines causes autism and stupid people being voted by other stupid people, I don't think we are better than birds or any animals for that matter. Let me get a little philosophical here, when was the last time you have seen a chicken go home and beat his hen or strap another chicken to a chair and send millions of volts to its body or a chicken being racist?
~

Both gold and diamonds are undoubtedly necessary in industry. But their use in jewelry or as store of value are artificial.
About the diamonds, the beauty is that carbon is abundant and all you need is big enough pressure, which was also replicated by humans; afaik the industry uses lately mostly man-made diamonds for being cheaper. So, yeah, I don't know why people pay so much for them.
That's the other problem, the usage of precious metal for jewelry that makes it more expensive, the only time that I will pay for what something's worth is because the people who made it made a lot of effort to make it. I think the man made diamonds are used in laboratories and for research purposes, I think there's a laboratory that uses diamonds to create a laser that can slow down the movement of atoms by going to a really impossible negative temperature.
1163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: May 28, 2021, 10:46:17 AM
The are many free telegram group give you free trading signal, but i believe this is not a good way. Their signal's sometime worth, but it's really hard for us to follow. You should use some premium signals, that give 70% chance to win the trading. If you interesting, join Rose's premium channel, she have good warning before market crash, trading signal, some Gem also...
Signal groups aren't that accurate and you will only get more losses and the only people that will make money out of them are the signal providers because they are artificially pumping up the prices or dumping it and they can just go for futures and choose which suits the situation.

I was talking about 1 BTC. And yes, the number is huge, but I don't discuss about tomorrow or the near future. And by then people (not us, since we'll be dust) will probably discuss in Satoshi or such.
That's a really epic proportion and to be honest I don't believe that bitcoin will get to that point, not even billions.
~

You are basically correct. Maybe not infinite, but in overly huge amounts nevertheless. Still, some people want to show them into their face and Elon may be appropriate for doing that.
And about the diamonds, well, this should fit in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8-13PYmt4s

Another reason that I can think of is that we just love shiny things as a species so that might explains our fascination with gold. And business will want that to happen forever because if gold is abundant, how can they make money. Nice Big Bang Theory video. Here's the conspiracy that I was talking about regarding diamonds.

1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may hit a trillion dollar if.. on: May 28, 2021, 08:47:37 AM
3. Keep in mind that Bitcoin may reach even trillion dollar at some later point. Adoption is in progress and it can only grow. Rushing it may not be the best approach. And .. well, supposedly price is not everything.
Are we talking about the price of each bitcoin hitting a trillion dollar value or are we talking about the total marketcap because I find it hard to fathom for bitcoin to reach those numbers.
4. If Elon proves that gold is not as scarce as bankers think, Bitcoin could actually benefit.
Gold isn't scarce, we are on the verge of making asteroid mining a possibility but we have to wait for it to happen and a total operation might not even happen in our lifetime. There's no need for Elon to prove that gold is scarce, there is an infinite amount in the universe and people that have their interest leaning on gold is going to do whatever it takes to make the illusion that gold is scarce just like what they did with diamonds.
1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 28, 2021, 07:46:23 AM
Oh really sad news for a crypto trader this usually happens when you enter a position and the market doesn't give a confirmed movement its really risky especially if you use your whole life savings yes it can give a huge return once your entry is correct but un fortunately this does not happen mostly so be very careful in leverage trading.
That's an understatement, this doesn't "usually" happen, how many times have you seen this kind of thing happen to constitute as usual occurrence? I think that the person who died know the risk and he was just so sure that it will go down the right place so he bet on futures but he was lost.
1167  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange is best for trading? on: May 28, 2021, 06:40:37 AM
I think Binance is what I can recommend to you because it's much more easy to navigate and the mobile version is compact and you have all the needed numbers on the screen to do your trading but if you are a newbie, I would suggest that you should probably practice trading on paper trading sites because you might lose a lot of money if you jump right in.
1168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: May 27, 2021, 12:20:12 PM
You can still recover it as long as you hold good projects and you didn’t sold during the bottom price that’s a good benefit of not panicking. I’d also incur some paper loss because of panic and I don’t mind it actually because I know the market will always recover and that’s the cycle of cryptocurrency.
That's easy to say but if you don't have the money to start over again, it will be a different story, you will probably be out of commission in crypto trading because you have to save money to fund your trading.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: From trader become holder because the market is crashing on: May 27, 2021, 11:44:08 AM
In my honest opinion, holding for long has become a better strategy than trading these days. Also, it's a common thing in the crypto market.
It is because the prices are really low and you can't afford to sell bitcoin with its high prices, you might want to hold on to it because you will never know what happens next.
1170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: May 27, 2021, 10:46:02 AM
Without proper backtesting-papertrading and money&risk management, just jumping on the trade. Also valuing other people's ideas and advices more than my own research and ideas.
Paper trading is the most helpful in my opinion because you gain the much needed experience to trade without the added risk of losing real money. I think my biggest mistake is I didn't enter the market really early.
1171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much attention should be paid to forecast websites? on: May 27, 2021, 09:58:05 AM
I would say that don't mind them, they aren't that accurate anyway. Also, be careful what site you are trusting your money when it comes to trading because you can't blame them if their forecast is wrong and you suffer a tremendous loss.
1172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost clear with the weak hands. on: May 27, 2021, 09:19:00 AM
We never know if bitcoin will dip this deep in price in such a fast time. We've just been in the bull market,
but now the market is in a bear state. But the state of this bear market should quickly recover back to the bull market.
Because the bull market hasn't happened long ago. Maybe at least in June, the bull market will be back.
Is it in the bear state though? Look at the prices, it's still that high, I mean we come from a 900% growth to 50% loss so I don't think we have to worry too much about it being in the bear market. Also, it's good that we are losing a lot of weak hands because I really love for other deserving investors to get in at a really low price.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: May 27, 2021, 08:34:11 AM

Mayweather always has a plan to come back, but not in an official ring anymore but only on exhibition match. I think he has lots on his plan.

We wait until Manny retires and we might see a Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 lol.
That's not going to happen to be honest, Floyd doesn't want to to do a rematch with Pacquiao, I think this was being organized back then but it seems that both sides don't have any clear answer and only the fans want another fight.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: May 27, 2021, 07:43:06 AM

I disagree about this part, back then in VP they had a lot of solid results with pasha and Solo winning some majors but they failed to finish strong in TI kind of similar to Team Secret. Not sure what's the actual reason but Ramzes probably lost his drive to play carry with the meta changing one patch after the other. During that time Sumail also moved to the offlane role but it didn't work out for him then tried the carry role (trial with OG) and then back to the mid position now with Team Liquid.
AFAIK, they only did get one Major Cup when they were in VP but after that as you have said, they didn't perform at their best in TI, I think that they got picked off by the least favorite team to win the TI or I could be wrong. I really want to see Ramzes go back to playing carry because I feel like it is his strongest suit to be positioned in.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: May 27, 2021, 07:07:39 AM
Looks like they're reuniting the old vp roster back once again with Rodjer, Noone and Ramzes. I still have doubts on Ramzes' offlane performance since he wasn't able to deliver unlike General. The qualifiers will be tough for them since it's likely for Team Spirit to not qualify via DPC points but we'll see how things go for them at the major.
Ramzes is better as a carry in my opinion. And you are right to have doubts because back when they were still in VP, they don't seem to be that good even with Solo as the captain and 9pasha.
1176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Demystifying Dice - Stake, PrimeDice & Bitsler Players! (Service) on: May 27, 2021, 06:13:44 AM
You could probably do good with advising with betting but I don't think that dice is going to be any better, it is a game of chance and no matter how many data you have, it won't be the same odds for everyone.
1177  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: May 27, 2021, 05:37:54 AM
~

There is a way, and some casinos have already implemented dynamic fees that take into account the current state of unconfirmed transactions in the mempool and change the required fees accordingly. In some other places, players are given a choice between a faster or slower confirmation time. Other platforms have static fees and you pay the same amount no matter the conditions on the blockchain.
Good to know that there are progressive casinos that do that and I find the static fee the least attractive of the bunch unless it is defaulted at a really low amount then I don't have a problem with that. I plan to gamble when I have enough money to spend on it without any worries so I was concerned with fees and stuffs.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 26, 2021, 03:30:49 PM
Recently, the value of bitcoin is 39k/40k per coin, before 10 days, the value of bitcoin was 60k or more. So, anyone can say that it is the best time to buy more bitcoin as you can, because the price of bitcoin is again increasing.
If you don't have any investment in crypto right now, I think that anytime is the best time to buy one and the prices is just an added bonus if you enter now.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't care what Saylor or Musk say anymore, I'm becoming a BTC individualist! on: May 26, 2021, 02:03:53 PM
It is really how things are supposedly be done deciding and doing movement with your Bitcoin on your own. There is nothing wrong on idolizing famous personalities and their stands with regards to Bitcoin but you must think on your own not to get easily lured or affected of whatever they say for you are the ones who will benefit or suffer based on the actions you will do with it. You must be open into the idea that they were just there to talk but the final decision relies on you.
It's hard to do when you are all alone, remember that people who speaks alone are always called crazy, unless their words make sense and that other people believe those words. Also, some might think that thinking for yourself is easy when in reality it is a difficult thing to do because you always factor in the people around you.
1180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starting to recover on: May 26, 2021, 11:58:58 AM
It is our expectation that Bitcoin will recover. Due to the recent decline caused by certain statements and bans, in the end Bitcoin will continue to break through its all-time high and we are looking forward to it.
Well, our expectation is proven because the charts of the bitcoin market for the decade already proved that the prices can only go up despite experiencing devastating crashes. The only thing that we can do besides looking forward to bitcoin going up is accumulate more so we can profit a lot of money out of it.
