1321  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: May 10, 2021, 07:14:54 AM
Whatever they are planning to do to replace or imitate bitcoin, they will only keep on failing and end up wasting their time. Bitcoin is much more complex and useful compared to any currency ever made. Creating a new cryptocurrency named under a certain nation would need a very long time before it can keep up with bitcoin. We all know how long and how hard it took for bitcoin to make it wherever it is right now, a lot of people doubted and took it for granted but unfortunately, those people are surely full of regrets right now as they witness bitcoin getting more successful as time passes by.
I think that these countries that try and replicate bitcoin do know that bitcoin is a complex one and I think that they are trying to replicate it because they know that if they made the perfect replicate then they will profit from it big time, not to mention that there is the factor that if the citizens use their coins, they will be able to control them.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tells His Mother Dogecoin Is Her Mother's Day Gift on: May 10, 2021, 06:25:01 AM
He is a visionary about our civilization, I give him that but realistically, we haven't tapped yet the full potential of our world and we are probably going to go extinct before we can become an interplanetary civilization with this nukes on the midst. That is a pretty wholesome gift in my opinion, because if you look at it, it's like a kid giving his mother a gift that the kid really likes. Now if this story about Elon giving DOGE to his mother then you should probably start investing in DOGE since this isn't going to be the last time that someone is going to pump that coin.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: May 10, 2021, 05:41:27 AM
Covid 19 has in fact paralyzed the economic sector, but there are benefits that are obtained, namely that many people can work and try new, more promising businesses and make Covid as creativity for people. So I think these are the positives and negatives of covid 19. especially if a lot of people start using crypto, maybe this is a more advanced thing than in recent years.
Nope, I don't think that this gave people opportunity to find work, in my country a lot of people are unemployed because of this pandemic and not everyone wants to do or start a business. The positives that I can think of in this pandemic is that we reduced the carbon emissions in the atmosphere and we get to stay home without dealing with people. I don't say that we advanced but the world more like crammed to make advancements and the technology is already there so I don't think that it is an advancement.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 10, 2021, 05:03:24 AM
Because not a lot of people knows about bitcoin compared to stocks and older people are not inclined to technology so if they don't understand bitcoin then they won't invest in it, not to mention that they are easily dissuaded into opposing bitcoin.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Year 2021-2022 will be very Good and very Bad. on: May 09, 2021, 01:17:39 PM
?
You can Only act like a rich or act like poor.
But either You choose who you gona be.
95% will Poverty 5% rich and no Middle class.
But now still can pick the side 5% or 95%
What happens if more than 60% chose to become the 5%, will it still be called 5% still? I don't think that we will be able to pick the side because there are things that will be out of our reach.
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Year 2021-2022 will be very Good and very Bad. on: May 09, 2021, 12:16:16 PM
What's it gonna be then, good or bad, you have to choose which one it's going to be. If you invested in something that is definitely going to go up in prices in the future, I am pretty sure that you will be safe from a financial catastrophe that might happen.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending coin platform with return of invest? Viable ? on: May 09, 2021, 11:26:11 AM
There is a lending section in the forum, the only problem is that some people who do loan, sometimes default out of the loan which is problematic for the lender since they are the ones who took the L. I don't think that a decentralized lending platform is going to work if there is no KYC involved or any identification so they can be approved for a loan.
1328  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: May 09, 2021, 10:28:33 AM

I can't send fiat to buy crypto without giving my KYC, all companies ask for it, there are none that doesn't ask for it, it is not even an alternative situation it is in everyone of them. I am sure there must be few out there in the world left but not for my nation, I know all the good ones and they all ask for it. This is why we can't just say that "it is the companies, it is not bitcoin itself asking for your KYC", if EVERY company that you have a path to asks for it, then it is part of bitcoin itself.
We also have to understand that companies don't want to be a part of the problem regarding money laundering so they implement KYC so they don't have to face troubles in the near future.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you aware of Shrinkflation? on: May 09, 2021, 09:47:32 AM
Deceptive marketing has always been there. People complain that they receive less product for more money, so the alternative is to charge the same amount while reducing the size or amount of the product. Not so much a dark side of the free market, more so taken advantage of consumers that aren't wise enough to look at the unit price.
Well, the producers don't have any choice, the raw materials for their products get expensive so they have to portion control so they can still be up and running and profiting. The problem is that the inflation becomes uncontrollable to the point that it is unhealthy to the economy.
1330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative on: May 09, 2021, 08:56:52 AM
Don't do this people, OP probably sold at a loss or small profit and OP wants to have some people join him/her in the cesspool of misery that OP is in right now.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 09, 2021, 08:26:44 AM

It's one of those 1 liner where they say that bitcoin is going to fall without having any proof or at least a foundation to create an argument, it's just a wild guess.

Nonetheless even if Alibaba didn't really bought bitcoin or doesn't have any plan to buy at all the news had already spread and media is kind of a wild fire where a small news can get bigger in a short amount of time, which means bitcoin has already got so much attention throughout that rumors and is currently getting hyped which is generally good.
That's why I want to challenge the claims that bitcoin will collapse, I want to assure the person that before I disagree with him/her, he/she has some arguments to support the claims. I hope that it will be more than rumor because if it really is just a rumor then those sensational stories picked up by the media will only propel it ever so high.
1332  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 09, 2021, 07:38:28 AM
The price of bitcoin is going to catastrophically collapse after the 13th. It's so obvious it hurts my scientific brain.
How does it collapse though, I am pretty curious about it since you said that it is pretty scientific. I don't know if Alibaba really did bought a lot of bitcoin but if this rumor proves true then that means that the prices are going to pump real high.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: May 09, 2021, 07:05:07 AM
~
^ That's right, it made me happy too and accumulate BTC from signature campaign earning. I remember before when BTC price is around $3k, it almost in the bottom price as they say. There is a good amount of BTC in all signature campaigns because that is based on the dollar, imagine before in my weekly campaign I received 0.01 BTC per week, but now it is only 0.001. Nevertheless, not all people will happy to see BTC price will drop and for sure those are had already BTC, they are holding it until now and hoping BTC price will reach $100k non this year.
But I doubt the BTC price will not down even below $30k.
You are lucky that you were earning signature campaign back when it was still around 3k USD, I am just starting with this campaign so I was wishing that the prices will go down so my payout is going to be bigger since I am on the lowest tier for my rank. I agree that it won't reach but there's nothing wrong with wishful thinking am I right?
1334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: May 09, 2021, 04:41:59 AM
Too early to say that bitcoin is going to be dipping back to 50k again if it is lying in between 60k and 50k, maybe when we finally reach the 80k threshold, we might be able to ascertain that bitcoin won't go down to 50k again.
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 08, 2021, 02:40:45 PM
Because bitcoin doesn't want to, only a few people know about this but bitcoin is a sentient being that is tied to the market and bitcoin knows when it wants to pump or dump Cool. Goofs and gaffs aside, we just have to wait for it to go up to be honest.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the digital Euro, Dollar or Yuan bank the unbanked? on: May 08, 2021, 01:38:57 PM
If it involves electronic devices, I am pretty sure that we aren't going to be able to bank the unbanked because poor people don't have the luxury like us privileged people to have a mobile devices which we took for granted so we thought that maybe if we can do it then probably everyone can do it too. Bitcoin didn't bank the unbanked completely, what would it look like do you think on this copycats?
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: May 08, 2021, 12:50:54 PM

Yeah definitely a different situation, I agree but OP's concern is bitcoin is slowly deviating from decentralization which might lead to a state of conditions where you can be  tracked easily (as KYC is being made mandatory everywhere) and only some countries are holding major share on bitcoin mining hash power which may lead to take control of bitcoin consensus system at some point of time somehow.
The problem isn't bitcoin or the decentralized platforms, it's the businesses that are doing the KYC. If you really want to not be tracked, they should probably fake your death and start of a new life.

I believe it is a basic responsibility of every bitcoiner to make sure that we are using only decentralized platforms for exchanges, gambling and for other similar services. And also we must focus on bitcoin mining in every country so that we will be having pure decentralization in every part of bitcoin ecosystem.
It is our responsibility, if only OP knows that then this thread wouldn't have existed in the first place. Also that's how decentralized platform works, you are responsible for your own skin and if you aren't then you won't last long probably.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: The Modern Mode of Payments on: May 08, 2021, 09:06:25 AM
people already have modern payment, just from smartphone. creator create what people need, like now, many younger kill their time with smartphone. this feature added following the future.
about crypto payment, there are many people still dont know about it. and people that already know will implement in their life, when the store provide it.

about this pandemic, there are many people still go to store because they dont believe with this stuff. and people forced to do all stuff via online. and, no one of them provide payment with crypto. so, people just collecting it and make it invest for future.
There isn't a lot of crypto payments available in my country, most of them are fiat based although there are some that support cryptocurrency in their platform although the fees are ridiculous. I think that we are in the middle of innovation is online payment because there are still something new that is being introduced to this day.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: May 08, 2021, 08:29:05 AM

There is no denying that money plays an important role in the political process. How could it not be, someone who was previously unpopular and did not have the capacity and credibility could easily get the power that was fought over by many people with just an object called money.
have a lot of money, any problem can be solved in terms of protection, attacks and so on. money can win in political matters, protection and attacks of any force.
Exactly, this has been the tale of adventures for a long time, that we will find treasures and we have it in our greedy DNA that we have to have more money than the other people and that we have to be influential because if not, we are just nothing. Money kind of makes some meaning in our life in this small blue dust in a vast universe, it makes us think that we are god.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to Enslave U & Track U on: May 08, 2021, 08:02:13 AM
How do bitcoin exactly track my every move when I am online? I don't know what is the problem with bitcoin, I mean we are living in a world that revolves around money and payment for services so what is wrong having to slave grinding with bitcoin, if the world isn't what it is, I am pretty sure that it will be a different situation.
