1261  Economy / Speculation / Re: More individuals like Elon musk, the price might fall further. on: May 17, 2021, 09:54:02 AM
You have to look at the bright side, if every crypto influencers will tweet against bitcoin, the price could fall. But you can take this opportunity to accumulate. We don't need to get affected by Elon and others, they don't have total control of the market price. We still exists here, ordinary joe, who have been supporting bitcoin every since Elon Musk join the ecosystem. Bitcoin is so resilient that no one can really pump a damp on the price long term.
That's what a lot of sensible users have been saying for a long time now, if prices fall then it is an opportunity for us retail/individual investors to buy bitcoin at a lower prices and get more out of our money but we always focus on the negative and do stupid things like sell at a loss because you are scared that it won't go up anymore.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is Better to invest in (LOGICALLY,) Bitcoin or Dodgecoin? on: May 17, 2021, 09:12:34 AM
This is the Bitcoin Discussion of the forum so I am pretty sure that you know the answer for yourself regarding which one. Look at the price chart of bitcoin and compare it to the other one and I am pretty sure that bitcoin is better than any other coins.
1263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Satoshi moves or sells his Bitcoin? on: May 17, 2021, 08:34:39 AM
I don't want to think about it, because it's unlikely to happen in reality.
Then you are a killjoy then, try to at the least entertain the hypothetical situation that might happen. For me, if satoshi were to sell all of the 1 million bitcoin that satoshi has, I am sure that the whole crypto market and community will panic because since that would be the biggest dump of prices in the bitcoin's decades worth of history.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: May 17, 2021, 07:55:18 AM
But this will not happen, so you can continue to calmly trade further.
Well, knowing about this I am pretty sure that people will be eternally worried about that from happening now that someone has voiced out the situation. Plus it won't go down to zero anymore because there are lost coins that has permanently increased the prices.
1265  Economy / Economics / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: May 17, 2021, 07:08:17 AM
If this is the bear market then we should probably just hodl our bitcoin or accumulate more until it goes back up again this is nothing compared to the 2018 price dump so I wouldn't worry too much about it, the bull will always appear and when that time comes, I want to have a lot of bitcoins to sell.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many negative posts about BTC lately? on: May 16, 2021, 04:57:29 AM
This is not mostly because of dogecoin but the recent happenings around bitcoin. Tesla and binance related issues that I just read about today is even heart breaking they may have an impact on it though but can't be this weighty.
They don't have to be weighty enough, it's just that people take it in an overreacting manner that made the news bigger than it should have been which is pretty stupid if I may say. This FUDs won't win, a lot of people believed that the Internet is just a fad but here we are still using it and those same people benefit from it.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colonial Pipeline paid 75 BTC ransomware to DarkSide hackers on: May 15, 2021, 12:35:33 PM
Well, they can't do anything but pay for the ransom because the other way which would be resetting I am pretty sure is going to be much more expensive than just paying the ransom. I hope that they hire more IT personnels after this ransomware shenanigans and pay them well to do work really well.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank & Government Crypto on: May 15, 2021, 11:55:50 AM
In fact, there are benefits to be received if the government wants to control, at least there are regulations that will be made to provide a sense of security to users. It is true that all this time what is in bitcoin has always been associated with illegal actions, so at least it can be reduced that the government pays attention to that and is not true.
As long as the goal is to improve and be profitable, there is no problem because the government cannot control widely, there may only be that every transaction must go through legitimate institutions from the government, trusting each other for the survival of bitcoin itself.
It would be good that government has control if that is a good government that won't use your information against you. I get your point about security but it doesn't outweigh the fact that people are going to have their every move tracked with government controlled cryptocurrency, it could work in theory but I am pretty sure that the practice is going to be chaotic.
1269  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Faketoshi vs Bitcoin devs on: May 15, 2021, 10:40:05 AM
Faketoshi is delusional if he thinks that he can easily get those bitcoins, wasn't he suspected back then on the multiple occasions that Mt. Gox got hacked and thousands of bitcoin got stolen? And now he acts like he is the victim in this story.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: May 15, 2021, 09:44:04 AM
I thought about the question of what I will do in 2030 and I realized, that I just want to stay in crypto space. Because if you can survive in cryptocurrency space and hold out here for a very long time, then you have no chance of not making money.
I hope that you will be dedicated to that promise to stay in the space because a lot of things can happen in 21 years. For me, I would just focus on what's happening in the present and let things happen and adapt to survive, I don't like looking forward to future because you will only be disappointed when you arrive there and you didn't get what you want.
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: A Sudden Price Drop in The Crypto Markets on: May 15, 2021, 08:48:45 AM
I think the Elon Musk announced also influence the sell of greatly, btc has witness a tremendous price rise since last year end to this year and if it dip a little I don't see why that should be a problem. But unfortunately some investors don't know about the market situation except to panic sell.
The problem is that people are ungrateful as to where bitcoin is now, and they want to get back their capital with a lot of profits as fast as possible so they are mad that the prices go down because they have to wait again. It's good that they panic sell, the market automatically weeds out the undeserving people.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see yourself quitting after this bullrun? on: May 15, 2021, 08:05:35 AM
I don't have any work and I would probably not work if this current bullrun becomes profitable than I and many could've expected. But let's put it in hypothetical terms for me, if my job pays better and isn't a toxic one then probably quitting isn't the best option but if it is the other then I would definitely quit.
1273  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin donated billions to India to fight Covid-19 crisis on: May 15, 2021, 06:05:41 AM
Considering the current situation in India right now, we can clearly see how much help it needs. Regardless how suspicious the help that is given by Vitalik, no matter what hidden agenda he has that is correlated with boosting Ethereum's popularity, the help he is given will surely aid the country a lot. Many people are dying each day due to the continuous epidemic dominance and even the tiniest help would matter for them right now. Let us keep on praying for our Indian brothers for the betterment of our country.
That's my stand on this issue, if he has ulterior motives, I think that we just set it aside, let's focus on the people that needs the help right now. This issue will have to take some rest and focus on the much bigger problem which is the pandemic.
1274  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla stops car purchases with Bitcoin on: May 15, 2021, 05:00:25 AM
It is always funny to see people who have absolutely ran away from crypto just because tesla shared some news Cheesy Lol that was so funny. Look at the market now, it is doing fine, BTC is down I will give you that, but weekly ETH is 13% up, BNB is only 4% down, ADA doing 15%+ profit, there are others who all have been fine.
That's what I don't get, why run away over a news that isn't even a big deal in the first place, they didn't sell their bitcoin, they just suspended the purchasing of their cars using bitcoin but they are still afraid that one thing would lead to another thing but that wasn't the case, now they have to buy back at a loss since they sold at low profit.
1275  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil and war Good profit on: May 15, 2021, 04:14:51 AM
Somehow I find it odd when there's a conflict on a specific place where there is also an oil involved.
May it be political or businesses it's all about the money why there's always a conflict.
It seems like someone is waging a war to create a conflict that would soon create a panic and it all affect the supply and demand.

So who's waging to create a conflict to push the price of a specific commodity?
So does this mean that every war exist there's always a money involved?
Because who controls the oil, controls the money, there is a reason why oil is called the black gold you know. Also, you should understand human nature to understand why they are waging conflicts. The biggest reason I can think of is greed and hatred because they have a different religion. If you know where to invest in oil then you should probably go for it but I don't think that they will accept measly amounts of money to invest in it, pretty sure only the big money people are the only ones that can invest in oil.
1276  Economy / Economics / Re: On the future of Cryptocurrencies on: May 15, 2021, 03:35:12 AM
In my opinion the Banks will not disappear, they will prevail because they are Institutions that back the currencies we spend.
Banks are losing the interest of investors and savers. Every day we see how more people prefer to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Visa and Master Card are joining forces with the development of their technology to offer the service to the holders of cryptocurrencies.
That's right, banks have their foundation in our countries trenched so deep that removing them might cause a collapse, it's like a beneficial parasitism where if you were to remove banks, they will take down the country with them so you have no choice but to let it live and have it their way not to mention that the owners of the country are the big banks so I don't think that they will go anytime soon even with cryptocurrency clearly the future of financial instruments.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto should I invest? on: May 14, 2021, 02:01:28 PM
What is that 20k exactly? Dollars? Franc? Euro? Ruble? Peso? Also @mk4 is right, do your own research first and try to ask the right questions in the forum but to answer your question, I would say that bitcoin is still the number one coin to invest in.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla will accept $ because they're environment friendly on: May 14, 2021, 01:25:23 PM
What are we gonna do if he suspends it? Our whines won't do anything to change his mind, maybe he has a business plan that involves selling green energy and the reason for quitting in the market is so he can sell it to the mines around the world, kind of like taking his hiatus in the market as a hostage and I am sure that people are going to buy it.
1279  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk loses $20B since SNL..would you believe? on: May 14, 2021, 12:36:49 PM
The reason that the stocks dipped was that they find his appearance in the show as unfunny and they don't like to invest in something that they don't find funny also they have pigs in the stock market that short the stocks so they can make a lot of money.
1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to debunk the Bitcoin Energy Consumption drama on: May 14, 2021, 11:44:12 AM
But the electricity needed for mining is really high do we really disregard that and just say that bitcoin doesn't consume a lot of energy because a computer doing complex puzzles are expending electricity and this takes a lot of time and power to do so.
