Moving averages relate to momentum in the price, its nothing more then data till conclusions are pressed as to how this will effect current price. Its not especially far fetched for a rising average price to be considered bullish, the 50 day above 200 just implies a positive phase where as earlier this year we entered a sell off period quite normal after such rises.
They are indicative lines that lag behind the price movements. Golden cross does not make sense if you see it on a chart with decreasing volume. It can be fake golden cross. If you see a golden cross with increasing volume, it makes sense. Speculative trades do tend to guess MA as support or guidance in some way which is probably where it becomes too stretched in its reliance however its never just invented its a reflection of price history so valid to refer to imo. Right now we just above 2 day average, a very fast measure to trade along and also the monthly average price is in this area, sideways consolidation is occurring most likely.
Indicators with lags like Moving average are not good to use. Because you are late than others if you use lag indicators. If it says bullish, bull run already began for a while before. If you take the signal, and buy, you can get trapped. |

Though I felt the same way, sometime like maybe its a pipe dream.. but a lot of people still believe this, and one thing that I think I saw for certain the other day.. That Walmart fake news for example.. The price within 10 minutes went from like 44k to like 47k .. I don't think that was small investors who drove price up that fast, I think that was institutional money buying the fake news..
News is part of the market and when the market is bullish, fake news can not bring the price down. Fake news can make some hiccups but price will keep rising. Fake news only show its power in bear market and people are fearful and fake news make them panic. |

SHIBA is a short term FOMO altcoin and it won't be a good survivor when the Bear comes in the market. I don't know when the Bear will come but if a coin can not survive through a bear market, it is not good. Even an altcoin can survive through a bear market, what will it lose value from all time high? 90%, 99%. I would not take risk with SHIBA and would not consider it as an investment. We should take the opportunity of the "Coinbase pump" to sell at a profit.
Buy the rumors, sell the news. This advice is always true. You can not practice it and sell at all time high or peak of each wave but practice it will keep you not be trapped with FOMO and stuck at peak or all time high. |

I imagine that investing into something just as it has already skyrocketed never made sense to me at all. Does that mean that Solana will not go up? I believe Ethereum will jump into a long accumulation. It will hypernate for a while before it returns to a bull run. I think the hypernation and accumulation will take months. The chart gives you some points of price for tops and bottoms if 2021 market repeats what happened in 2017 market. It will be one of reasons to bring a new FOMO wave to Ethereum. Honestly, I see two opposite things from this record. The gas price is too high and the upgrade does not solve it for small Ethereum users. The expensive gas price and transaction fee contribute to high burned ETH and causes the deflationary day. I don't know how it can happen if transaction fee is low. Will it be included in the algorithm of Ethereum? How long the deflation can last?
