1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: June 07, 2023, 01:53:51 PM
every person who is into gambling always need a bonus and if the person should choose or pick a ball or the person will be careful in Spain because you can spin and the get more money because it is just something of trying of your luck or your chance of getting whatever thing you want to get with a bonus
Not really because I don't always expect to get a bonus, especially if there are requirements that I can't fulfill. Not all bonuses come with easy terms, so we have to consider them before trying to get them. If you think you can meet the requirements before getting the bonus, you can try it and see if you manage to get the bonus or not. Many have tried to get bonuses but many have failed because they could not meet the specified requirements. This is why we must be wise in dealing with each bonus from the casino and not try to take it immediately if we do not know the terms.

You're right from this perspective, if one can consider the requirements for a bonus before enrollment would have been better because many would have started but couldn't complete the task for the eligibility as some criterials looked upon seems unaffordable by them, if we want fulfill the terms on each bonus then we have to create time in understanding the requirements and procedures, we should both enjoy the common interest of each other as you provide the casinos your own service they reward you back in appreciate with bonus.
And by understanding the terms and procedures, we won't be wrong in taking the bonuses we want and missing bonuses we can't afford to achieve. As gamblers, we must be wise in taking bonuses and estimating which bonuses we can take so that it won't be difficult for us. With the requirements that we can achieve, of course, we can also get bonuses so that it's not in vain that we play gambling. While we are playing gambling, maybe we can also get big wins so if we want to withdraw the winning money, there will be no problem because we have complied requirements and followed the procedure.

Someone like me is not that bonus freak gambler, I will first ensure that i relate all the benefits together with the efforts am to provide and the probability of me getting what i want before working for any kind of bonus offer, that's why it something most gamblers ensure they got paid for the ones that achieved weekly than for staying long overdue for receiving payment, then the casinos we make promotions for must also respect our integrity by making swift response whenever a task is completed by the gamblers for receiving their bonus.
1782  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 01:19:52 PM
~ There's what people called free giveaways, where you're permitted to join a quest for receiving anything for free if you're lucky or being eligible, gambling is all about playing games, both live or virtual games and sports, you bet by using your money to stand in for you that if your prediction is accurate, you stand a chance to make a winning, i don't count anything that does not do with money a gambling because you're not staking anything for such.

And you are right, imo, because gambling, by definition, is about staking something valuable. Yes, some activities, when nothing valuable is at stake, still called "gambling" sometimes, but those cases are the topic of discussion rather on linguistic forums than here in Gambling section.
The reason why many people choose to gambler is to make more valuable profits from what they do. You put your money so that you can make more money which is simple. If you don't bet we'll or have to amounts of luck for you to make a winning, then you are going to lose money totally without getting it back. You win other lose, if other win, you lose. Simple pattern how gambling works.

Even if we are playing and having fun we can still bet and gambles as long as such leads to argument we need to prove how right we are, we can stake any amount of money right among ourselves, gambles and have more fun amidst our owers, everyone have the full right to try his luck, sometimes when we are too sure about something, we turn it to gambling because we want to show or prove it to everyone that we are true about it, to me i may say gambling is another way of showing how confident and desperate we are about a particular game, sport or event.
1783  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 07, 2023, 01:03:20 PM
What's the reason why you didn't pass the KYC verification? Are you sure you are using original documents?

If you have already used a fake documents, you have yourself to blame. Casinos are always looking for a way to grab players fund and if you give them a reason to, you'll never get your money back.

If we don't comply to their KYC procedures they won't allow us on anything, what will pain most ia that this will be coming the very moment you will needed their attention the most to help you perform some functions, we easily derive on conclusion that wome casinos are scam because we are yet to provide their necessary KYC informations, as for those that like presenting fake documents, it will do nothing good for them than making the whole process get tougher.
1784  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: June 07, 2023, 12:02:53 PM
debit card could lead to plenty problem we might not able to resolve since the there are some issues that is attached to debit card uses. Those who are using card to fund there online account can be doing that is some. Level of risk attached to it and if we use our debit card on scam casinos, we might end up losing our money without getting it back.
It would be more dangerous if they continued to use credit and debit cards because, after all, we can forget to control the use of the cards. We freely deposit large amounts of money for gambling; if we can't control ourselves, it becomes even more dangerous. So it is not recommended to connect debit cards and credit cards for gambling, even for online shopping, because now many hacks are happening on many sites.

You're right, we are humans and prone to making series of mistakes knowingly or unknowingly, the best practice against such is abstainance, since we cannot take confidence in whatever we do to always fall under a safety control measures, a personal debit card has the details of our personal life on them and they can use that alone on devices to track our permanent address where we lived in and they perform a physical fraud operations if the digital one is giving though time.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 07, 2023, 11:19:47 AM
Experience in sports betting or any other gambling platform may lead a gambler to some winnings but there is no guarantee because luck is an important factor in gambling. Some gamblers who think differently when they get few consecutive wins. At that moment some expect regular income from gambling at a fixed rate that can be $50 or $100 more or less which is considered great mistake. There is no chance to earn specific money in gambling. When a gambler takes such a target, he can loss his money. Remember that gambling is not a business where some one can get fixed profit.

No one should give an Instance of how this could be achieved because gambling is not what we determine the outcome, but we stand to accept any results that comes in for us at the end as an outcome, this means there's nothing certain about how one can win a bet or not except the results comes out, it may bebthat OP needed a fix income upto that amount everyday to earn his leaving while gambling  Grin it may looks funny but this may actually be his intentions, but it's something far from reality, alot of things have to be involved beyond betting alone in gambling.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 07, 2023, 10:44:34 AM
I personally wouldn't because it's very dangerous step to take if its violation of their rules. My assets can be completely frozen, my earnings can be cancelled and/or reversed. I could experience to be in their black list even.. Why would someone risk it I don't understand. You may dislike rules - I don't blame you most rules are terrible and enforced - but you still need to obey rules. You don't need to like them you should only care about your money deposited to that site and won through that gambling website.

I even take a look at the reason why most gamblers make use of VPN and discover that it's only for them to evade sanctions in some specific areas while using their platform, then why should one now desire to go against their wish through VPN, but thanks to more security measures in the gambling sections and some of these casinos being able to afford taking the required measures to apprehend those bridging their terms with the use of VPN and other means of cheating them on their platform, if they dictates you they will definitely ban or restrict you on your account to perform some vital or needed functions.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 07, 2023, 10:34:39 AM
I try as often as possible to remind myself to expect the worst while making plans for the best when gambling, it's not easy, I know, it's even more difficult as a newbie when you're on a consistent loss but Don give up, you can take sometime out to up your game and retry again.

The most important thing as a gambler is to start atleast from somewhere, there are many strategies we can adopt to enjoy gambling being an experience user or a newbie just learning, but we shouldn't be too focused on one direction only while gambling, we must check within and without to see for more opportunities, i newbie can perform well and an experienced gambler struggling to make any difference, what differentiate them both is the abilities they both possess, this is part of what is needed to make a good gambling experience when we started all well on the right ground in gambling.
Adoption of gambling strategy should depends on how we want it to look like. There are some gamblers that that do not need a sophisticated gambling strategy for them to become a profitable gambler. We don't even need to have to follow many of the procedures listed by op. We need to do it in our own way and try as much to get more from the way we gamble and what we intend to get from gambling. It is very important for us to have a flexible gambling style so that we can earn good amount of profits from the way we gamble.
Those that earn more from gambling are people that have tested so many strategies and weigh the best way suitable for them to earn as a gambler.

I like this point you raised, there must be a personal interest and this has to be from what we have also developed on ourselves to go after in gambling, we can't just rely on anything in gambling, moreover at the end of it all every gambler source for his own means to get the best out of gambling, we need to sit, think, develop and make something new on our own different from what others have been used to, make it our own pattern or strategy as well so others can learn from it, for how long are we going to remain being dependent on gambling.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which League Makes Sports Betting Easy to Win? on: June 07, 2023, 10:10:04 AM
If we leave out the match-fixing factor, it will totally depend on the skills of the players and the consistency of the teams in each league, and that can only be known or understood if one watches the leagues or does research on them. When you know a league very well, you understand how each player and each team perform against each opponent, and you can place your bets based on that understanding.

I got your point here, but yet these performances by either the team, players or the league they all fall under still doesn't determines weather we may have higher probability of winning when we decided to go for the kind of league they fall under because gambling itself is risk, no one can accurately predict an outcome of it always, it may come as we expected sometimes and it may not, a local league fan earn you a big win if you took the risk in playing that game in your bet, it's all about the risk, chances, luck and the team involved with how we were able to compare and contrast every techniques in gambling in our favour.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 07, 2023, 09:52:35 AM
And what do you want to attract people to cryptocurrencies with?

A few years ago, when I first learned about cryptocurrencies, they were really more decentralized and allowed confidentiality. Nowadays it looks different - SEC defines which cryptocurrency is a security and which is not, metamask introduces some user agreements, almost every casino requires its clients to pass KYC.

Satoshi Nakamoto's ideas are trampled by regulators and big market players.

There's still more needs to understand that Satoshi Nakamoto mandates about bitcoin still remains, if they had succeeded in trampling under it then maybe we might all not have been talking about bitcoin today, other cryptocurrencies could have taken over or also be distrusted, that is why you will only discover that bitcoin was being attacked in many ways but nothing is coming out of it while other cryptocurrencies received same attacks and were affected because they are centralized, either the security exchange commission which are rhe government accept bitcoin as part of securities or not it will remain a decentralized digital currency which everyone can use and be boast of.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 09:37:13 AM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change stance?  no other option.

Government will just ban the use of crypto and not singling out trading if they want to keep away their people to use crypto currency. There’s a lot of online casino that accepts fiat some of them have a built-in exchange.

In this scenario, There’s nothing change with playing online casino since player can play without any restrictions since the government still allows it. I don’t see the argument here since crypto trading is only ban while online gambling is still legal.

You're quite alright here in your point of view but let's also consider it from another direction that if the casino you're using is only a cryptocurrency supported casino without fiat currency, are you going to drop them and research on new casinos that accepts fiat or you're going to remain without gambling, what we should be clear with here is not the fact that gambling isn't banned but cryptocurrency is was banned, are you secured with using these gambling platforms such a way that they will not leak your information out and the government identify you to be using banned cryptocurrency in gambling and charge you, this is all about privacy with gambling platforms, can you get secured?
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 07, 2023, 09:19:04 AM

If they make ban on cryptocurrency in general terms they are likely to also extend this to gambling as well, but as long as the gambling platforms you will be using will not disclose your KYC to the government or reveal your identity for them to track you down, you can continue to gamble with cryptocurrency but always have it at the back of your mind that you're engaging in something risky, or you may just go for a no KYC casino if you think you need more privacy and also avoid the use of a centralized exchange in this case, use a decentralized wallet to make deposit into your casino wallet and not from an exchange wallet to the casino wallet.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 07, 2023, 09:02:09 AM
I’m not sure I agree with those of you blaming the parents. I am pretty sure that their child committing suicide wasn’t their goal. People do things by themselves sometimes and I feel like if help was needed it would have been provided. Having been young once myself though, I can understand how a run of bad luck could seem like the end of the world when you lack life experience.

You're right, no parents will ever want a death penalty for thier child for lack of being irresponsible or to have taken this kind of stupid act squandering their money away in gambling instead of using it for school fee as intended for, but yet the decision the boy made was too hasty and heavier than he had thought, maybe he's having such an encounter for the first time being in a dilemma situation, the worst that could happen is for him to receive the worst purnishment and shame of his life and everything will die down sooner, some decisions we made aren't just adequate enough when reasoning on the consequences that we might received for talking a wrong step.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 07, 2023, 08:38:45 AM
I have started to gather some sort of patience, the patience I have is different than what is described here nevertheless I call it patience.I used before to play slots as soon as I had the opportunity to do so but now I refrain from doing so and I only play at 20 PM in the comfort of my sofa, putting my headphones through my phone and enjoying my favorite slot of the moment Club Tropicana which has the best music I have heard in a slot machine.By waiting to play in a specific time,I have unintentionally gathered the skill of patience, whatever happens I wait until I am at home enjoying my game and when I feel like the game is not giving anything I can quit easily without problems.I think patience really helps in keeping a cool head and don't go chasing lost amounts.

This is one of the ways we can definitely make a good scenario to where and how patience is being applicable in gambling, in other words, we can also derived patience from the gambling live experience that we've got over time, this could be in getting a particular game, waiting for some results or outcome before next gambling, making research well on other areas we are interested in gambling, making money or profits from gambling and many more aspects being patient is well needed for us to calm and look around before taking a step or decisions while gambling.
1794  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam de for p2p transactions? on: June 06, 2023, 05:13:32 PM
Don't be misguided bitcoin is a p2p network and is not being manipulated and same also is the blockchain technology, everything is under the control of protocols that surrounds the p2p network, the blockchain is an open distributed ledger that cannot be altered which means it's immutable.

If your country ban bitcoin, I will advise you go low with using it privately such that they are not aware or being able to trace you and you can achieve this by distancing yourself from any form of online wallets as found with centralized exchanges.
1795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can the ban on smartphones curtail peer pressure? on: June 06, 2023, 04:47:11 PM
They also believe that by adopting a town wide policy, it would reduce the chance of a child having a peer who has a smartphone and it can inturn stop peer pressure.

Take the full delivery of being responsible for your children, you can't continue to prevent them from external influence but the training you give them will serve a guide to them whenever they are not under your territory, they cannot continue to be under us as parents, there will come a time they will have to be independent and live on their own, think for themselves and make decisions on what is right from whatever is wrong, we won't be there, but we will see the results and the consequences showing in their lives.
1796  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC is in Action After Suing Binance, Here Comes Coinbase Exchange on: June 06, 2023, 04:31:44 PM
What else do you expect if they cannot target bitcoin because of its decentralization then they will be left with nothing than to go after the centralized exchanges, this should only serve a warning for some of us still using them, we shouldn't hodl our entire investment in them, they have in custody our private keys to unlock the locked coins in the blockchain which belongs to us, this time we should be getting ready for higher transaction fees coming from this exchanges for those that uses them because they will be left with no option than to fall back on their users.
1797  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why we kicked out cryptocurrency - CBN on: June 06, 2023, 04:25:41 PM
what i expects from them is to allow the banks continue with the transaction of bitcoin and disabled any other cryptocurrencies to be performed by thier banks except for exchanges and at our own risk.

That's a very brilliant suggestion you just made above because since Bitcoin is proven to be the only cryptocurrency with low volatility risk compared to altcoin, It will likely save a lot of persons who fall victim to most altcoin investment scams, while also acting as an alternative source of revenue to government from the little charges that will be charged by banks to execute Bitcoin transactions, far better than placing a ban which is still not stopping the usage of Bitcoin through the help of peer2peer exchanges.

I just wish to see likebtwo more prominent countries join in bitcoin adoption as a legal tender just to unveil others eyes to believe and adopt bitcoin as well, the fear the government have is the threat bitcoin could serve them because they were unable to make law or regulate it, then what has it profit them when they are not milking revenue from bitcoin because it's decentralized than for them to attack the network.
1798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Male Dominated on: June 06, 2023, 04:18:10 PM
Bitcoin is free for anyone to adopt yet they still say it's because of the "patriarchy" that there's no females involved in bitcoin.BITCOIN IS
OPEN FOR EVERYONE AND ANYONE TO ADOPT..its not the men's fault that 0.0001% of women are interested in bitcoin.

Recently i think I've came across a thread as well talking about the few numbers of female participation in bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and the other inviting his sister to invest in bitcoin and start by introducing bitcoin basics to her, the fact here is that we cannot compare women roles being applicable in every general settings to be on same rate men are being involved as well, aside the fact that most women were tied to child upbringings from the homes.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if social media apps start launching their own cryptocurrency? on: June 06, 2023, 04:12:22 PM
There's nothing bad in that as long as they have all that it takes to launch any, we have the history behind Dogecoin from one of the most recognized social media platforms developer, there are other coins we may not know about them as well but truly exist from the developers of one or two other social media we may not be familiar about, if they have the money, digital skills and the maintenance ability to finances the strength for it existance, why not, just that this doesn't make any difference from falling into wrong hands or not.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: June 06, 2023, 04:06:07 PM
We are a bunch of ambitious folks on a mission to revolutionize the blockchain world. Our goal is to create a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that empowers individuals and organizations like never before. Together, we'll shape the future of blockchain technology!

We're planning a series of marketing activities, and we want your input on bounty campaigns and signature campaigns. Which one gets your heart racing? Which of these two campaigns do you think will work like magic for FireDAO within the Bitcointalk community and beyond? We trust your expertise, and we want our marketing efforts to align with your preferences and expectations.

Just from their names, the difference has already been mentioned, if you're interested in conducting a bounty campaign then you're making your payment in bounties but if you're interested in making payments in bitcoin then the best idea is on the signature campaign, you could now see that it's your choice and and preference especially the organization you will be managing under base on what they prefer to offer their campaign participants.
