1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 24, 2023, 09:32:28 AM
But Bitcoin was really made for transaction purposes, which is why we should do it, but I have the same feeling that it is because we now treat it as an investment and we are looking for big profits as the years go by, so if we keep spending it then our possible profit will be lessened. It is like in our piggy banks, we save, but every time we want to buy something, we get money from our piggy bank, so by the end of the month, if we open it, you only get small savings. What's best is having a separate wallet on it, like one for spending and another for investments, so you can't touch your investments.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 24, 2023, 05:23:59 AM
Improved security and prevent cheating in the game though right now it is difficult to cheat but hacking or exploiting casino has a possibility now that is why AI can predict or check and patch it immediately if found one though the scary part is that those hacker will be using also an AI to exploit it. AI can also easily predict those gambler that is going to be addicted to in which they can prevent it and stop those gambler to play and preventing him to get addicted to gambling.
1783  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 24, 2023, 04:08:12 AM
I have been seeing the progress of cryptocurrency these past few years, and I've been thinking, will it definitely be a replacement for physical money and use crypto as a primary transactions in our everyday life?
I think it will not become or replacement for fiat, even we will using it right now but still there is a lot of people who still wanted to use fiat than cryptocurrency and there are also people who don't know about it specially to those who are very old they don't even know it for sure, we still don't know what happen in the future so i think there is a little chances in the future generation.

In the future it is sure that it will be cashless and for sure if it is not cryptocurrency then it should be derive from it.  There are still a lot of reason that it is not possible for us to replace fiat with this that is why we treat it as another form of payment which we use to purchase and it is cashless. I dont why still people insisting to replace fiat with this as the cryptocurrency was not created to replace anything it is just for us to be our own banks. transact online and have an investment on it
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we build a strong community of supporters for crypto projects ? on: March 24, 2023, 02:47:01 AM
Updates like daily to see whats is going on to the project. People wants to always get updated how was the project going or what has been done on that day. If not share roadmaps or having interaction within its fans at we want this kind of people that we see friendly and giving importance to their fans. Also not only about updates having memes and fun facts could be attracting new fans to the project. No matter what as long as the project is promising amd updating on daily basis then it is really good
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of play to earn games on: March 24, 2023, 01:42:16 AM
Play to earn games right now become slow right now compared before when most of everyone wants to to play those play to earn games. I think there are only couple of games that are play to earn right now but the future of it is that the possibility thay there will be games that coming from thos big companies that wil adopt to it. Right now Microsoft or Sony wont be doing a play to earn game as they are more focused right now in AI
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: March 23, 2023, 05:05:50 PM
If you can add a second/side job into your life without causing detriment to existing factors in your lifestyle, then why not? Work harder, plan smarter, progress faster! If you manage to balance something new alongside everything else in your life, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't end up better off or more financially stable, if combined with financially intelligent/responsible.

There are no way to find a side jobs that you wont sacrificing any , like your time , sleep or energy because my self right now even i do work remotely as well as sidehustle i still don't have time to play on my child and also lack of sleep which you really need to sacrifice those things for you to achieve those things. Lucky those people who can still manage their time but again don't go over it that your health will got affected.
I can feel you.

Currently, I have 2 jobs because like many others are saying here, only one source of income isn't enough for the whole household to survive. Yes all of us here in the house are working (but I'm the one who's working from home), but still I prefer having a 2nd source of income just incase my main source of income unfortunately ends up for whatever reason it is.

Like you, I already sacrificed my sleeping time, and there are times where I only sleep 5-6 hours a day because aside from my work, I'm also the one doing the household chores since I'm the only one who's in the house all the time. I wonder how much sleep I can get whenever we will have our own baby. This is also the reason why I'm putting most of my money now in the stock market. I have a specific target where I want to earn X amount of money every month thru dividends. It will be a huge amount for sure, but I know I can reach that. Sacrifice first before comfortability.

Congratulations in advance! For sure, if you are sleeping around 6 hours, it would be cut into 4 hours as you need to wake up to take care of your baby and your partner. A few months after giving birth, it is really hard and there is for sure a lack of sleep, as I've experienced this before, but again, you are happy and you will not feel tired as you will always be motivated. I will be wishing you good health, both mentally and physically, as our work is very draining, and I hope this will be fruitful to us.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 23, 2023, 02:07:58 PM
It was funny that the blame is always on the government, but no matter how we blame them, we can't still achieve what we want the government to do, which is why others are just doing their thing and not relying on the government, but when it comes to price, it is still not possible as the fuel is still high, and also with regards to salary, that has been debated a lot and a lot of rallies happen, but the government has no allotted budget on this, which is why they can't push through.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 23, 2023, 12:06:58 PM
I lost my $1k yesterday. through Blackjack. What do you think about casino site algorithms?  Are they cheating with us?
Then you should have bet small amounts rather than going nuts with your bets. How many days did you experience it? If it's only for a day then I think it's just coincidence but we may never know but if you think that casino is cheating on you then leave and find another one, not that difficult to find online casinos these days.

The problem is that how do you know if the casino is cheating? as most of us will think that they are cheating mostly when we lose big instead of thinking that gambling is luck and you'll be losing pretty big if you can't control yourself. But I do agree that if you feel cheated, then it is best to find another casino, and again, if that will happen again, then for sure you are the problem, as that is really how the casino works. That is why you should always gamble what you can afford to lose.
1789  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: March 23, 2023, 10:57:05 AM
I haven't noticed a merchant or business that has no records, or I've just expected that they have them because I don't have really good friends that have businesses, but I've noticed that in some places, like small stores, they always have a POS system for recording the purchases or doing inventory checks and calculating the total earned on that day. Though some probably would just record it in their mind, for sure they are writing it somewhere in their home (but I am not sure). Before we have an online store (for infant wear), it is really impossible to not list down those expenses or profit because you won't see if the business is working well. What I don't understand is why people who got into business don't care about checking their financial status. That is why I am shocked, because by the end of the day, we should be excited about how much we earn.
1790  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: March 23, 2023, 09:47:19 AM
Our main goal is to do a side job/business, of course, to increase income, if there is no increase in income then it is better to sleep or exercise, currently I am also doing a side job/business such as selling online, raising fish and so on, the results can certainly improve income but not significantly.
It is also better if you have time to learn new skills or improve yourself, because that can attract another source of income in case you need it. Imagine when the pandemic hit, a lot of people learned new skills as they had a lot of free time and were bored. That is why they learned new skills, which they mostly used now as a side hustle online that can help us financially.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 23, 2023, 07:35:14 AM
it's a good idea  creating different wallets for your assets not putting all your eggs in one basket

Cold wallets, or hardware wallets, give more security than online wallets; they have additional security that doesn't just make it easy to hack, so if you can set up a cold wallet, you don't really need to have multiple online wallets.

I do really prefer hardware wallets, but it is expensive and not that affordable. That is why others are sticking to online wallets, and to prevent getting hacked, they will be creating multiple wallets that they spread across their bitcoin. If you already hold a huge chunk of bitcoin, it is better to use hardware wallets to be more safe, and you can carry it everywhere you want or store it in a safe.
1792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade up capital: $200 on: March 23, 2023, 06:35:13 AM
Taking anyone's money, even if it's from your wife, is stealing. I would suggest returning it to your wife and not thinking about the profit. What if you lose it? How would you pay her? I mean you should save from your salary if you are employed, or if not, then discuss it with your wife about your plans so that she could understand. But I noticed also that you don't have a plan for trading; do you know how to trade? Are you already successful in the demo? Also, do you have a strategy?
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game do you think is a Game of Chance or a Game of Skill? on: March 23, 2023, 05:35:12 AM
Crash games also, but others have strategy on it and depend on their playstyle, but when it comes to card games, i would say skills, as those with experience, are really great on those games, like playing against an experienced player against a newbie, for sure, even if the experienced player received a bad card, he can still manage to win it, unlike on those slots, roulette, and crash games, where no matter how experienced you are, it is always a game of luck.
1794  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 23, 2023, 04:29:49 AM
Its because of the prices of our basic needs like before your income is just enough in your family but when inflation starts your starts getting short from your salary which  means that's why you are hard time paying their tuition. Also your salary is not getting increased. When it comes to finding another source of income it is difficult right now because your idea was very known to others which they already made a business from it and you cant attract new customers.  Mostly the factors are competition in the market that is why  you are hard time earning money
1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 23, 2023, 02:52:22 AM

Also whats your plan next after the house? A car or you want to build a business?
1796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 22, 2023, 05:17:23 PM
Emotions plays a vital role in the getting of profit during higher and lower price of certain selected coins. If one wants to be successful in investment strategy then he should always focus to keep hide his emotions because if you are in willing of making money with quick method then it sometimes become impossible for a person to get what he wants. A Successful person is one who knows how to hide his emotions and success rate increases as a person manages his feelings more.
controlling emotions is very important to set the rhythm in our brain. of course we have to understand ourselves first, wanting to make big profits fast is natural in our minds, but we also have to be logical in seeing that success can be achieved gradually, so that in that way we will be able to obey the rules that we have made for ourselves and be able to Discipline to the framework created before the transaction

That is really the most common problem with newbies, even myself before. I wanted to learn fast so that I could start earning, which is wrong and takes more time if you are doing it, as you keep coming back to learn things you don't know yet. People always think trading is easy, but when they try it, they quit immediately, as it is difficult, takes time, and over the span of years, you are still learning. Also, emotions are a big part of it, which is why others are also coming up with strategies on how they can control themselves.
1797  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 22, 2023, 03:44:13 PM
Everything that is done to overcome poverty will certainly fail, we must realize that the life of this world will always present poor people, if you are rich then you should be grateful because all the things you need are provided by the poor, if there are no poor people then your money will be useless.

People who work in restaurants, construction sites, foods that you are eating, and everything else you can think of where people that are poor are involved is like they are part of the work force, which is why there should be a balance between poor and rich people. But again, I only want to end the struggle of those poor people, like having problems with food, shelter, and their needs, which makes me sad. That is why whenever we can help them, let's help as it has a big impact on them.
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 01:05:03 PM
It depends on what you plan to do after retirement and also where you live, because if you live in a third-world country, 10 bitcoins are enough. But in retirement, you should have money that can last you and your family 10 to 20 years, depending on what your monthly income is. People mostly calculate how much they spend on a monthly basis and multiply it by 10–20 years; that is the amount of money you should come up with. But for me, 10 bitcoins is already enough, as long as I also have business.
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: March 22, 2023, 11:13:18 AM
I just realized this from a friend who told me that at least if someone wants to have a happy life and wants to get financial freedom is by never having a loan. and if you have debt, the first step towards financial freedom is to pay off all the debts you have. because often the biggest obstacle to having financial freedom is having debt. because someone who has debt will have a little difficulty managing finances. so first we must avoid all debts

Just imagine if all of your debt was paid off how would you spend your money right now? For sure, all of your budget for food and other things is now increased, and you'll say that your salary is now enough. If this would happen to me, this is really the start of financial freedom, as I do have spare money right now to save and invest for capital to start a business. But again, this will take time, as my debt needs to be paid off over the next few years, and I don't have the money to pay it all off or start an investment (except for holding bitcoin).
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 22, 2023, 09:24:24 AM

3. Thrill of volatility:

We are all aware of how unpredictable the cryptocurrency market is, with prices varying quickly and erratically. Some people may become addicted to the "high-risk, high-reward" mentality as a result of this volatility. Even though it may result in severe financial loss, they may get high from taking chances and placing large wagers.

This is really what I've experienced: after winning, you will now be thinking and hoping that the crypto goes up so that when you exchange your crypto, it is worth more and is some sort of bonus to you, but again, the thrill of losing its value is the same, which is not like with fiat, where it will not go up or down if what ever you won is really its value. That is why others want this, as it is new to their feelings.
