181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 02, 2023, 11:19:47 AM
I am begining to find this season more interesting than most of the previous seasons in Lalliga,and the reason is because this season has a lot of teams who are fighting it hard for the Lalliga tittle,and also a lot of team who want to qualify for the top four spot, these are what keeps a league very lively.If you look at the English premier league,you will see teams that are fighting it very hard for the clubs in the top four position,and are making that table shake with their performances every weekend.If Lalliga can have many teams who have the strength to fight it hard with other teams just like Girona is doing this season,then the league might have been so competitive enough to drag  attention from the premier league.
For the La Liga title IMO the competition is still for only 3 clubs because Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico alone can be said to compete in La Liga.
What makes this interesting is only Girona's performance which makes a situation in La Liga a little more varied and the rest nothing too changes in this regard.
Girona's performance until now has been one of the clubs that is consistent and very good for the movement of La Liga, it's just that for the La Liga title problem it will only return to 3 clubs even towards the end of the season it is likely that only 2 clubs who are usually in the top La Liga list are competing.
Yes, Girona have added intrigue this season, especially as they have only got into La Liga this season and are already competing with Real Madrid for the top spot in the standings. They currently have 35 points and today they have a chance to become first if they manage to beat Valencia. Which I don't doubt.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: December 02, 2023, 10:36:28 AM
Litecoin is still good and still worth investing in.  But I think it's still a long way to beat Bitcoin, mate.

You're right, litecoin is worth investigating right now that it's still on the dip, if you can check the statistics of the previous performances of litecoin, you will discover it has reached it all time high of about $450 and we are now by far away from such, any Investment made on litecoin will come in with another lifetime opportunity after the bullrun is experienced, though we should know that there's no any other cryptocurrency that can be able to beat bitcoin, because bitcoin lays the legacy other alts follows.
Litecoin is a good coin, but I think its hype happened a long time ago. It had a halving recently, after which the price dropped again. Yes, maybe when the bulls come back, ltc will rise again, but I don't see much potential in this coin.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 02, 2023, 08:33:05 AM
Although AEK Athens had more possession and played more ball, the away team, who had more experienced and experienced players, managed to win the match.
AEK were the better team during the whole sequence of play before Brighton won the penalty and also after that. They were really unlucky not to come away with even a point from the match and will rue their missed chances.

Brighton did not really have experienced players, this is their first time playing in Europe and they have a very, very young squad. They also have a lot of injured players which further weakens their squad.

Let's see how far they go in this competition.

- Jay -
AEK Athens seem somehow good in performance too because they have actually made an effort on this season Europa because if you check there matches they have played this season even if they had some losing but they are quite impressive because some of there matches they won I never believe that they can be able to win those matches.

However there last match against Brighton they really posed a threat to Brighton because it was quite difficult for Brighton but they manage to finally scored at 55 minutes but however if not for the red card Athens had they would have almost draw the match.
Athens had good shot statistics and Brighton had a tough time in the first half. But this is football and unexpected things often happen. So the red card decided the outcome of the game. Now Athens have no chance to continue in the Europa League.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: December 01, 2023, 08:10:31 PM
Yesterday I saw a tweet about Michael Saylor buying 16k bitcoins. Usually this guy buys bitcoin when it's cheap in his opinion. So this could be a good sign for those who bought bitcoin at 35k. Maybe at the end of the year we will see the bulls again.
Today Bitcoin is still seen increasing to almost touch $39K which means everyone doesn't need to wait until the end of the year if they want to see an increase in the price of Bitcoin. Because market conditions have become more positive and perhaps big people with quite a lot of capital have also entered the market to continue buying Bitcoin, so the price increase can still be seen quite clearly in Bitcoin at the beginning of this month. So that makes me even more convinced that the price of $40K will probably be surpassed this year by Bitcoin.
I think late this year and early next year the price will be over 40k. Now there are new news about cryptocurrency, bitcoin, etf and so on all the time. The stock market seems to be on the rise right now too. Next year there will be a US presidential election and there is no point in having a market crash.

186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump market potential? on: November 30, 2023, 06:37:31 PM
For me to start worrying about a conflict causing a negative influence in the market, it's got to be super power nations that are directly in conflict and not just doing their proxy wars with other nations. That's when I'm going to be worried although I am not trying to be worried too much about conflicts as much as I can since there's only so much that I can do. And in the case that I worry about, I don't think bitcoin or crypto market dumps are going to be what I will be worrying about, super power nations at war is going to get us closer to the midnight of Doomsday clock.
Maybe it's not about conflicts or wars between countries. For example, there is a lot of confusion going on with the Binance exchange. If something bad happens, it will have a negative impact on the whole market. Remember what happened after the FTX collapse.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 30, 2023, 05:34:05 PM
Benfica were so close to their first win in the group, but thanks to Inter's tremendous comeback, they couldn't do it. Inter led 3-0 at half time thanks to three goals from J.Mario. In the second half, Benfica was not in control and could not respond to Inter's fast play. Inter increased the pressure from the beginning of the second half and scored two goals in the first 15 minutes to make it 3-2. In the 72nd minute, Inter made a tremendous comeback to draw with a goal scored by Alexis Sanchez.
Real Sociedad hosted Salzburg at home. Although they played dominantly from the beginning to the end of the match, the home team could not find a goal and unfortunately had to finish the match with a draw. Sociedad, who had 21 shots throughout the match and scored in 4 of them, left the race for the leadership to the last match.
Yesterday there were many matches where there were clear favourites first. For example Manchester United and Galatasaray, Sevilla and PSV, Benfica and Inter. By the way about Inter, it was probably the most interesting game because they didn't have to play well, but they managed to draw after conceding three goals.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 29, 2023, 09:33:44 PM
I wouldn’t look too much into Inter & Napoli tonight, as you say they are both qualified for the last 16 already so they will not be as focused maybe.

I’m more interested in how badly Man Utd are doing in the CL. Onana is a real clown, a total embarrassment. They should have just kept De Gea. They now need to beat Bayern Munich & hope for results to go their way in the other game. It is not looking good for Ten Hag.
The two Italian clubs have safely qualified and I see that Inter Milan's game is only owned by the second layer so it's normal if they lose because they don't really care about it.

But I don't know why Erik Ten Hag always believes in Onana even though we said he was a clown, lots of blunders happened and this only happened when he was at Man United, whereas when he was at Inter Milan, Onana was quite brilliant.
I don't really believe that Man United can beat Bayern Munich, it looks like it will be more difficult than Galatasaray and now they have to be willing not to qualify because their chances are quite slim.
It will be interesting if Copenhagen can win against Bayern, because this game is not important for Bayern and no one scored a goal in the 75th minute of the match.  If Copenhagen can win, then both Manchester United and Galatasaray will have problems.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: November 29, 2023, 08:01:51 PM
i think 50k is too high for bitcoin this year.
I think if bitcoin can reach 40k$, then that will happen but it doesn't rule out the possibility that after reaching 40k bitcoin will reverse direction and fall very far.
My predictions are not bullish for the end of this year.

Right, bitcoin can reach to 40k$ but 50k$ is much higher worth and suddenly such higher worth is not possible. It is possible that I'm cryptocurrency everything can happen because of unstable nature but as I think there will be no more than 45k$ worth of bitcoin this year.

Bitcoin will surely reach to 50k$ as in past it attained the value of 69k$ but not in present year but there is a chance for bitcoin to reach 50k$ next year. The present year is a good year for bitcoin and last months are bullish but what will happen at then end of December not yet known. Bullish period is introduced and according to prediction more success will be attained by bitcoin in 2024.
I guess anything can happen to the price until next year when there is a halving. I think early 2024 could be bad for the market. Not sure when the Etf decision will be. But the halving will be in spring. So there could be a drop in the first quarter.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 29, 2023, 04:48:53 PM
There is no end to discussing Barcelona, Girona and Real Madrid, but in La Liga there are still many clubs that we have to discuss and it is also no less important to increase knowledge in football and be able to create opportunities for betting.
tomorrow there will be a match between the lower level clubs that will compete, namely Mallorca vs Cadiz, both teams are trying to improve their current position which is at the bottom which is almost close to the relegation zone. Both teams must immediately move away from the relegation zone so they can remain safe in La Liga. I think this will be a good opportunity for Mallorca to win. This team will play at home and so far Mallorca has only got 1 win. Mallorca must add to this victory in the next match.
So far in Spain, only Atletico Madrid are in a position to enter the battle for the lead. The other clubs have a big points gap from Girona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. Maybe Sociedad can catch up with them, but for that they need to play without defeats.

I don't think there's any point in insisting that Real Sociedad can compete for the title because right now, Real Sociedad is only in 6th position with 25 points. Instead of thinking about Real Sociedad, I think Atletico and Barcelona are still more worthy because they are always in the title race in every seasons. But yes, for today match regarding the match between Mallorca v Cadiz I think it will still not be easy for both teams to win. Even though Mallorca is playing at home but still, the home factor for Mallorca still does not guarantee that Mallorca will win. Because yes, so far this season Mallorca also have been bad at home matches and the same goes for Cadiz, so far they have also been bad at away matches.
Surprises often happen in football. The first half of the season is not over yet and a few losses or wins for one of the leaders can make a big difference in the standings. I like the way Real Sociedad are playing in the Champions League, so I think they can play well in La Liga too.

~~~
One bad match is not enough to wash all previous good matches they had, but I am so doubtful that Girona already touched their limits. They soon will hit their limits when players touch their physical thresholds and can not continue their good performances for Girona. We will need a several more matches in La Liga to see how Girona continue their good form or start their down side in performances.
It is not only about Girona but also about all small clubs which suddenly have excellent forms. They are not familiar with pressure at top positions and they don't have enough players to alternate during a long season. Therefore physical exhaustion has to come unavoidably and performance has to decrease consequently.
Girona will ultimately lose its best performance because the road is not always smooth. Bilbao, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and several other strong teams could destroy Girona's performance and dampen their enthusiasm to compete at the top, so they clearly have big doubts about maintaining their performance.
I agree that Girona have worked hard to stay in good form, but you are right that fatigue is the most important factor. Player injuries and physical fatigue are the cause of the decline in performance, but nevertheless Girona remains one of the best in La Liga this season through 14 matches. Losing points like the match against Bilbao is a benchmark that Girona is actually not ready to face a big challenge at the top of the standings, but I believe they will try to improve it in the next match.
Will Girona be able to get it when the season ends?
Even if nothing is impossible, but allow me to say no for Girona.
Girona have one advantage over the other standings leaders. They don't have to play in other European Cups. Therefore, it is not yet possible to say that Real Madrid or Barcelona will be able to gain more points.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 27, 2023, 09:26:08 PM
Manchester United may have played well against Everton, but Everton don't play in the Champions League. I think the away game against Galatasaray will be much harder. Galatasaray are also playing well now.
The game against Galatasaray will be difficult for Manchester United because the atmosphere will not be favourable, they will be under pressure to win as a lose will mean there exit from the Champions League against Everton there was no pressure at all to win and that was why the game look comfortable. Galatasaray also have been in excellent form the season and would like to also take the full advantage of playing home and moving closer towards qualification.
The fact that all teams have the possibility of qualify out of the group makes the group more exciting. The line up of all 4 teams are very strong. It's really hard to predict, anyone could be eliminated. I think it will be clear who will be eliminated as a result of tomorrow's matches. Tomorrow will be a very enjoyable night.
Seriously the group has lived up to its expectations of been the group of death. This group and group A are the most complicated group in this year’s edition. For group H clubs one thing I notice is that almost all of them are strong at home and will likely take maximum points at home. I don’t believe the group qualification will be settle this game week, it will go down to the wire
Manchester United are currently in last place in the group. Galatasaray have only one point more. But if they win, Copenhagen will still be in third place. Manchester United need a win against Galatasaray.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 27, 2023, 08:24:10 PM
I don't have anything to say, they'll have to prove themselves on Wednesday night as they travel to face Galatasaray. Galatasaray have familiar faces who has a good knowledge of how Manchester United plays. Manchester United played well yesterday they'll have to do same against Galatasaray. At least the defenders and midfielder's did well yesterday. Now Manchester United midfielder's should just make sure they support the attackers with enough passes.
They can beat Galatasaray, who I'm not so certain they'll defeat has got to be Bayern Munich. They'll need the miracle to defeat Bayern Munich.
Manchester United now have a good chance, their game was very improved against Everton, they kept a clean sheet, have some players who have returned and were very good in the game too. Manchester United have a good chance, they did not have many problems scoring goals in their previous games, they mostly had problems defending and managing their midfield, but they have clearly improved in those areas, and their goalkeeper makes lesser errors. If they play hard and start putting pressure on the other teams as soon as the game starts, they can win those games.
Manchester United may have played well against Everton, but Everton don't play in the Champions League. I think the away game against Galatasaray will be much harder. Galatasaray are also playing well now.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: November 27, 2023, 07:58:16 PM
The current price of Bitcoin is something that some never expected at this closing part of November, I believe some of us especially me was expecting to see about $38-$39k or even $40k before the end of this month. But it looks like the first week of December can give us something more encouraging to investors, let me say $39k might be the start up of December or by ending of the first week of December we might be getting that $39k and above. Let's see what this month would end with, I believe it will be green throughout this week.
I think there is a small difference between the current price and your expectations. Even if it is the end of November, 36-37k is also good. There is no growth without corrections. Maybe at the end of this year we can see 40k.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 27, 2023, 07:06:24 PM
I also believe that the bear market is over. We bottomed at $16,500 and since then, albeit with ups and downs, the price has been rising to where we are now. At the point in the cycle that we are at, with the halving in half a year or so, I think it is quite unlikely that we will go down to $20,000 or so, which would make us think about the bear market again.
Another reason I became confident that the bear market is over is because of the Binance and CZ drama that just happened.
Well,  assuming CZ's resignation happened during the bear market, the BNB and Bitcoin price would have dropped significantly upto 20%. But as the news broke out, it didn't even affect the market upto 24hrs and everything became alright again. That is a very good indication that the bear market is over.
It could be that cz stepped down as Binance CEO because Binance has real problems worldwide. We don't know the real reasons why this happened. But if something happens to the exchange in the near future, the market will easily become bearish.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: The volatility volumes of Bitcoin is not the Will of man on: November 26, 2023, 08:26:50 PM
Volatility is a part of life, and it is also a part of the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin price volatility can be a double-edged sword, but it also offers profit opportunities for experienced investors.
Experienced investors will never ignore anything in the market and prices, especially Bitcoin price volatility. So they will always prioritize things like that even though it seems as if they don't think about it because they are already very used to the market and also in terms of investment. So they no longer see this as a problem because they have seen how price volatility in Bitcoin can be created very well at certain moments.
Quote
If you are considering investing in Bitcoin, it is important to understand what volatility is and how it can affect your investment. You also need to determine the level of risk you are willing to accept.
Your advice is quite logical and makes sense, but it only needs to be understood by those who are still beginners and have little experience in the field of crypto and Bitcoin investment. Because experienced investors will definitely know this very completely and thoroughly when they invest in Bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin does not need to be seen as complicated or quite difficult because everyone can do it as long as they have enough capital and experience and knowledge about Bitcoin in more detail.
It seems to me that volatility has no effect on investors. Investors feel normal when the market is bullish and bad when the market is bearish. Only traders can profit because of volatility in the market. But often volatility is a sign of the beginning of a trend.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: November 26, 2023, 07:52:40 PM
. What are your thoughts on this? I feel like I may use the money kept for DCA for other expenses.
To be honest, bitcoin transaction fees are becoming quite annoying for small investors like us. Today I just transferred a small amount of my bitcoin to an exchange to sell for fiat and if I remember correctly with 2 transactions, I lost almost $6 and I'm really uncomfortable with the fees. Yes, it's not a large amount of money but $6 for transaction fees is something that makes me feel unsatisfied. I usually don't sell my bitcoins but today I had urgent business so I had to sell some and I was quite surprised at the fee I had to pay.
Sometimes the commissions are not very high and you can take advantage of this moment. But now I agree that the commissions are very high. This has happened many times and always came back to normal, so probably soon everything will become small.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: November 26, 2023, 04:09:28 PM
If you want to diversify your investment when you have already invested in Bîtcoin, buying altcoin is not a good step in diversification because if there is a failure in Bitcoin there will also be a failure in altcoin. You can diversify your investment in something different from cryptocurrency such as real estate investment or selling a variety of merchandise, so that if one market fails, success in others will reduce the impact of failure.
What is the need of diversification when we already have our investment on Bitcoin because most successful investors prefer to have only one source which is Bitcoin because there believe in Bitcoin can never be compared to any other investment so they decided to stick to only Bitcoin which is a very wise decision.
I don't know why this issue of diversification is still coming up here when the thread is about buying Bitcoin to hodl. I think this discussion of diversification has repeated several times and is looking more like distraction. When we continue to compare different investment options in a thread the focus is supposed to be how to buy Bitcoin, many people might derail into making wrong investment decision in a bid to diversify his assets.
The forum is really big, so much that we can open a thread to discuss other investment instruments for the sake of those who might consider complimentary investment as a way of diversifying their Bitcoin portfolio.
Diversification is only discussed because you can't hold any one coin. Some altcoins have much more potential than bitcoin. Right now, only bitcoin and a few altcoins are up. But when the bulls really come back to the market, the other coins will also show good growth.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: November 26, 2023, 03:19:54 PM
Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.
Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you
If you invest without Bitcoin Ethereum and BNB your investment will be very risky. Since here you are ready to take risk then you can buy and invest in SUI, ARB, ID among all the coins mentioned here. But with this I am adding some more coins to you if possible you can buy all these coins if the bitcoin market is pumping it can give you a lot of profit the coins are PYR, NEAR, SOL, ISP, ENJ, TOMO etc.
I don't agree that bnb is a less risky investment than for example Ripple or solana. Bnb is not in the best situation now, because there is a lot of attention to the Binance exchange. No one is immune to a crash. Remember what happened with FTX and their tokens.
