1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 29, 2023, 04:49:34 PM
Juventus started to look like a much more trustworthy team than Atalanta for a while. Because Atalanta have been in a bad form for so many weeks that they barely got a win finally last week. This situation is starting to get really alarming for Atalanta actually. Because Juventus have got quite close to them in the standings - only a distance of four points. I even think Atalanta have a potential to lose points against Cremonese. Normally they should be winning easily but I can't fully trust them.

It would be for the benefit of Juventus of course because I assume they would defeat Verona without big problems. I think they deserve to qualify for a tournament unlike Atalanta now.
Actually, Juventus can also be trusted from the start, except at the start of the season when they played far from what was expected. Now with their condition of losing 15 points they can still get close to the top 4 of the standings. That proves they are playing well, yes, even though there are still a number of records that they need to improve this season. Now their chance to be in the top 4 is still open. We will see the possibility of a big surprise they pull out towards the end of this season.
Things are very difficult for Juventus at the moment. We can assume that in the remaining games they can move Atalanta and Roma in the standings. But to beat Milan is a very difficult task, I would even say almost impossible. If not for those 15 points, they would be in second place. But most likely, their best chance next season will be the Europa League.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 29, 2023, 02:45:17 PM
XRP has managed to survive despite the issues with the SEC, so it may be a good investment to consider at this time. Positive news could trigger a surge of hype throughout the market, especially since the market is currently showing bullish signs. Perhaps this is the right time for XRP to initiate a bull run and potentially reach a new all-time high.

XRP's all-time high was $3, and its current price is at $.57, which is actually a good price.
Yes, because of the problems, XRP did not rise much in the past bull market, only to $1.5. But relative to other cryptocurrencies, it hasn't fallen that much. So I don't know if the price is good now or not. If it's altseason soon, any coins will go up. And if it is not yet altseason, it is unlikely that XRP will rise separately from the rest of the market. Especially since XRP already has a large capitalisation.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 29, 2023, 02:11:21 PM
I think for the conditions of the time no one really knows about this but in which case I'm not too sure it will come at the right time. The benchmark remains for the bitcoin halving but even then I'm still not sure altcoins will recover fully and it's likely that only coins with enough names and good projects will follow suit in this halving.
The situation remains the same for altcoins they will partially rise when bitcoin begins to return to a bull run and will collapse entirely when bitcoin corrects.
Bitcoin halving was just become one of point to determine the bullish trend but it will not always come when the halving already done. It needs time for bitcoin to increase after halving. That being said that if needs around a few years for bitcoin to increas and go to the moon. The fact that if you shall watch it and it needs around 1 or 2 years for bitcoin to increase after the halving time. It was giving long term impact. people should not expect to  see bitcoin pump asap after halving.
Altseason may not depend on bitcoin growth after the halving. Remember the two altseasons in 2017. Then the halving didn't play a role anymore. Although you are partly right that the whole market should grow in 2 years. In that case, I would count on the end of 2024. But it seems to me that the local altseason will come sooner.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 29, 2023, 01:38:27 PM
In not very surprising result, Turkiye lost to Croatia at home. Honestly I expected draw or loss from Turkish side before match. Turkish team was lackluster in match against Armenia. But even if they lost, I think Turkish team was definitely better playing side tonight. Turkiye could get one penalty and result could change a lot so quickly. Croatia focused on resisting and they were able to. I still think Croatia will be leader in this group and Turkish team will follow at the end.
At first I doubted Croatia would win this game because their first game against Wales was a weak one, and they were lucky to draw. In my opinion, Turkey is not the weakest team, so I think they have a chance to get to the second place in the group. The only opponent for them apart from Croatia is Wales. If Turkey can beat them, there should be no further problems.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 28, 2023, 03:18:25 PM
Really two interesting matches. For Norway, I think they will beat Georgia. Georgia is unlucky to be in a group with strong opponents. I have big doubts about Croatia though. Although they are the favourites in this match, Turkey will play at home and I think they can win. If that happens, it will be very hard for Croatia to qualify.

I have never watched any of the matches from Georgia and therefore I don't know much about them. But then, I know that Norway is a one-man army led by Erling Håland. The question is whether one good player and 10 average players can get them over another team, that is consisted of 11 average players. BTW, Turkey vs Croatia match is going to be interesting. I still believe that Croatia will win by a good margin, but the Turks are always unpredictable. On their day, they can beat anyone within the UEFA confederation, and this time they do have the advantage of playing at home.
Georgia have Hwicha Kvaratskhelia, the new opening for the Italian Serie A. Napoli's new star this season. So it's not just Norway that have a top player. Still, Georgia looks much weaker, although it will be a home match for them. I think it will be an interesting match between two strikers.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 28, 2023, 10:21:05 AM
today's away games of norway (vs. georgia) and croatia (vs. turkey) are already of great importance for both nations.
after both countries have not won their first games (nor lost/cro draw), today should be the important 3 points for the further qualification process very important

1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX Founder Arthur Hayes Predicts Bitcoin To Reach $1 Million Within 2-3 Year on: March 27, 2023, 01:51:09 PM
1 million per bitcoin is way too optimistic. I am sure Arthur has some good reasons to think of such a number but for me, it is way to expensive and this price per bitcoin is not justified at all. If this happens then the market cap of bitcoin will reach trillions of dollars which seems next to impossible.

I can bet for 100k per bitcoin in next 5-7 years horizon but 1 million is not possible. Probably in next 25 - 30 years, we will see that but surely not in next 2-3 years timeline like Arthur says.

I also think so, that's too optimistic, especially in 2-3 years I don't think it will be possible. Even to reach 50K in the next 2 years is very good in my opinion, we don't need to be too exaggerated in dreaming that Bitcoin will reach 1M USD in the next few years, because seeing the current economic conditions and the government which continues to discredit the crypto market, it will be difficult or almost impossible for Bitcoin to reach 1M USD price.
Maybe 1 million is someone's fantasy or dream, but why can't bitcoin be worth 50k or 100k in a few years? Next year there will be another halving, which has been the growth driver for bitcoin until now. The statistics so far are 100% that there has been an increase in price after that. I think the next halving will not be an exception.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the altcoin go up in price if the bitcoin price goes up? on: March 27, 2023, 12:56:42 PM
altcoins will go up after bitcoin goes up and then stable/sideways for a while, most altcoins will go up at that time, especially if they are in fomo or realease with good news, it will add up higher.Like ARB and space id recently list on binance.

Altcoins dont always follow bitcoin, for example when bitcoin rises sharply, altcoins can fall. You need to know why bitcoin is rising and whether there is an flow of money into the market. If bitcoin is rising because everyone is selling altcoins to buy it, then of course altcoins will fall. And if there are new USDTs in the market, then bitcoin and altcoins will rise.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 27, 2023, 11:12:42 AM
I don't think Marseille have any chance to win the title this year not because psg is very strong but because they don't have anything left to play for after the champoins league elimination, psg will put all their efforts in the league 1 and they will surely get it again this year
Psg do not even have to put all their efforts into the Ligue 1 to win it, the other teams that can challenge them for the Ligue 1 title are very inconsistent, teams like Marseille, Lens and Monaco. Psg have been in poor form many times this season and if these teams were consistent, they should have taken the number 1 position from psg, but whenever the chance comes, they also start losing games. Psg are leading with 7 points right now and i am sure the advantage will get bigger, if the other big clubs in the Ligue 1 want to take the title from psg in any season, they have to be consistent.
You are probably right that PSG are without doubt in first place this season. Only 9 rounds left, of which the strongest club for PSG will be Lens. Their closest rival, Marseille, will have a tougher remaining games than PSG. Therefore, it will be almost impossible for them to pick up seven points to get to the top of the standings. But that's assuming PSG lose many games or draw a lot.
Although their remaining games have lots of walk overs the still have to play at their very best to avoid making silly mistakes that can cost them losing their place at a time like this where they are closer to the lifting their trophy. From all observation it is almost impossible for PSG to lose more than 1 game but sometimes over confidence can make things turn around so PSG still need to be at their very best to secure their trophy.
I agree that they need to play very well to score maximum points. But we must not forget that Marseille need to play even better. I won't talk about Lens, for them the season will definitely not end in first place, they have no chance of that. PSG have a good reserve of points to feel comfortable and I think they can keep the lead.

Spain beat Norway 3-0. Spain, who put pressure on their opponent from the first minutes, scored with olmo in the 13th minute. In the second half of the match, which continued in the same way, they won the match 3-0 with the goals of joselu in the last minutes.
In the other match of the group, Scotland defeated Southern Cyprus 3-0. It must be said that they played a beautiful and dominant game in the first half. They closed 1-0 ahead with the goal they found in the first half. Scotland, who found 2 more goals towards the end of the second half, won the same score with Spain.
Same score but the two games difficulties is totally different. Norway is way better and difficult than Cyprus. Spain played well and managed to score 3 goals without receiving any from Norway.
In the other match, Scotland was favourite since Cyprus is weaker.
Croatia 1 - 1 Wales was interesting result but painful result for Croatia since they dominated the game then received a very late goal Undecided
It was an unexpected draw from Croatia. Considering their success in the world cup, they were seen as the favorites of this group. Now a difficult away from Turkey awaits Croatia. If they lose points there too, this group will be one of the most interesting groups. Turkey, Wales and Croatia are the three strong teams of the group. It's hard to predict which two will come out.
I thought Croatia were very tired at the World Cup, although they did well, but they are the oldest team among all the others. But this time it was probably just luck that Wales drew with Croatia. I think the first two places in the group will go to Turkey and Croatia.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: March 25, 2023, 04:53:57 PM
Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? Please let me know your thoughts.
There are too many altcoins that can compete with each other in a range. This makes it difficult for me to capture and unlock the potential of those altcoins and pick them up. The best way I do it is to create a multi-altcoin allocation portfolio. Also, the biggest problem we face is fake altcoins and scams. For altcoins, choosing the top altcoin is always encouraged and chosen more by those reasons. with those difficulties, Bitcoin has always been my primary choice.

Bitcoin is a good investment and the least risky. But if you choose altcoins wisely, even the not-so-new ones that have been released recently, you can get a lot more return than from bitcoin. Although it is the most risky. But I still believe that common coins like LTC or Aptos from the new generation, will be more profitable.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 25, 2023, 04:04:09 PM
Belgium was the winner in the Sweden-Belgium match. After the France-Netherlands match, I was curious about the result. Belgium played a dominant football in the first half and managed to lead 1-0 with the goal scored by lukaku in the 35th minute.  Although we watched a more balanced match in the second half, it was again Belgium who took advantage of the positions. Lukaku scored a hattrick by scoring 3 goals in the match. Belgium made a good start in the group.
I'm not surprised that France beat the Netherlands, although I didn't think the result would be that great. Belgium are also much higher class than Sweden, so their win isn't surprising either. I'm glad Lukaku was able to show his ability. He hasn't been good at scoring lately.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hidden gem on: March 24, 2023, 12:55:20 PM
As soon as you see coins with very high staking rewards and APY, it screams scam. It is sad that people still fall for those coins that give high APY. You guys should know that high APY often means high inflation since more coins are being created as rewards and in the long run this could lead to a decrease in value as supply goes up and but the trade volume remains the same (which will always be low for shit coins). Short term, it might be good, long term nope. And also if you see all previous rugpulls and scams, you will see that most of them offered high APY to lure people.
I partly agree with you that those projects which promise a high APY are most often are scam. Their scheme is built on human greed, and it unfortunately works out regularly. But I know several ATOM ecosystem coins that also offer high APY (more than 1000% in the beginning) and you can make good profit with it. But as you said, later on inflation quickly lowered the price and continues to do so. So even if such projects are not scams, it is still not worth investing in them, it is a losing proposition.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 24, 2023, 11:50:04 AM
You need to choose between thousand of coins out there unlike Bitcoin which is just the only one. Even then you have made your picks before, you need to analyse first with your preferred indicators and strategies so you don't make any flops.

It's not that easy to choose which coins to choose and when to invest. That's why so many thread in here covering about this type of topic.
It seems to me that the time to buy altcoins is the same as the time to buy bitcoin. The choice of coins is indeed difficult, but there are already proven coins that have repeatedly recovered from bear markets. Such coins, like bitcoin, are guaranteed to yield profits if you are patient.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 24, 2023, 10:40:26 AM
The thing about Monaco is they didn't start the season well but recently they show a good performance and now they have the chance to be on top of the table. I think they have the chance to be the third team if they beat Strasbourg next week. However, the game against Reims was a complete disappointment for them as they lost three points, otherwise, they could even have had the opportunity to make it into the top two next week if they had won.
Few weeks back there was fair chance for Monaco to have challenging title race competition with PSG, but sadly they were not able to take advantage of this all now they are at fourth with most chances until end of this season if they keep better results against ended with third spot like they have in last year their recent two home defeats having big problems for them but their performance and quality is still at his best Lens is going to visit Rennes which is going to be tough match for the both teams specially after Rennes beats PSG in away things could be not easy for the Lens which will give good benefit to the Monaco but still for the better results they need to be improved in coming matches.
I don't think PSG can catch up this season as they did in previous seasons. But the situation with the other top 5 clubs is really interesting. Marseille, Lens, Monaco, Rennes and even Lille will be fighting hard to get into the European championships next season. If Monaco continue to play poorly, Lille can get in their place because they play just as well.
1117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: March 24, 2023, 09:52:26 AM
Opportunity to fall to $10k of course things are possible, this is commonplace, like when the price reaches over $68k in 2021 many say it will not fall below $30k, and when the price falls below $30k many are said the price didn't fall below $20k, and everything is proven, those of us who are used to bitcoin certainly see a downward trend is a common thing.
There has been a price drop for almost two years. That is probably why you are used to it. But if you have been in the market for a long time, you should understand that a fall is not forever, and neither is a rise. Now bitcoin has stopped falling and was able to bounce back from the bottom. So most likely we have a trend change ahead and 10k or 12k is unlikely to happen in this cycle.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 24, 2023, 09:01:20 AM
~~~
France vs Netherlands goes head-to-head tonight and this is the match that I think will be the most interesting to watch, as the rest of the matches will either be easier to predict the outcome of, or will even be one-sided matches which are not interesting to watch. France will be the favorites to win and Mbappe will be the main player for France to score and this will be his first debut as the French national captain. The most likely thing to do for the Netherlands in this match is to take one point especially France has not lost in the last five matches as the home team.
A strong pairing, two top teams. So I expect an interesting game from both teams. France's veterans Hugo Llaurice, Karim Benzema and Rafael Waran have all left the team. But Deschamps' squad remains strong without them.
Both teams are in good form and have strong players in their squads. But my preference is for the Frenchmen. Deschamps' team will play at home. I think France will win in a hard fought game, probably with a minimum score.
I am not impressed with the Netherlands performance at the World Cup, so I also predict that France will win today. Although I agree that the Netherlands is a strong team. The key factor will be that France play at home. By the way, the last meeting was won by the Netherlands. Therefore today will be a revenge game.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 23, 2023, 01:54:46 PM
Italy and England will probably be the most interesting match. I hope that this time Italy will not miss out on the chance to qualify for the championship. But for that they need to beat England now and prove to everyone that they can qualify again. It's hard to guess who will win, or maybe it will be a draw, but I think Italy really need this win.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrum Hype on: March 23, 2023, 01:07:50 PM
Yes I noticed that too Arbitrum generated a lot of buzz lately, with many exchanges announcing their listings on the platform and some speculating the price jumped by as much as $7 or even $10. While it's exciting to see such enthusiasm, it's important to be careful and not fall prey to FOMO. It's worth keeping an eye on Arbitrum and seeing how it performs in the coming days to exercise caution when investing in Arbitrum despite the hype surrounding the project.
All airdrops hype follows roughly the same pattern as any other hype. First the price is pumped up, then the price drops. And those who bought at a high price sell the coins in a panic. It's a good time to buy. If you look at Aptos, which reminded me something of a hype like arbitrum. After the dump it could make a nice profit if you buy the coins at the bottom.
