182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 13, 2014, 05:10:33 PM

Should not risk what he is not willing to lose. Getting way ahead of himself and rented too much at the beginning before he knows what he is doing.
183  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Microsoft (almost) officially accepting BTC payments on: December 13, 2014, 04:54:16 PM
Pretty surprising to see a dinosaur accepting new idea. Guess there is still hope for Microsoft they won't extinct soon.
184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elizabeth Warren and Nancy Pelosi are right on: December 13, 2014, 04:47:52 PM
Most people should realized by now both parties have little difference when it comes to corruption.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: USA is now number 2 on: December 13, 2014, 04:44:02 PM
I'm not surprised by the news, China's population alone enables them to have a bigger economy than ours...it's not like who has the bigger dick, it's who has the greater number of shoppers.

What I don't understand is why all the bashing and negativity to the US economy? What's wrong with the US economy? (I'm talking business here, not politics, not social issues, not national defense issues.)

US businesses brought the world computers, laptops, smart phones, why the negativity?

Yes. And US businesses invented the internet, the moon, star, the Sun and time machine. Not to mention we have super duper heroes like superman and friends.

186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who got the prediction right? (bitcoin price) on: December 13, 2014, 04:37:35 PM
I realized that there are millions of prediction threads out there but who got it RIGHT so far (in term of bitcoin price)?

I predicted that it was going to hit $800 end of Nov. and obliviously  I was wrong

Predict we will see around $200 before year end. Still 15 days before I am wrong.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going to crash below zero on: December 10, 2014, 04:46:31 PM
crash below zero, does that mean people will actually pay me to take their bitcoin??

WTF I WANT CRASH BELOW ZERO NAOW

 Roll Eyes

If the price will crash to zero I will buy  a lot of bitcoin , that's sure.  I still believe in bitcoin and in its technology.

Cost below zero means the owner needs to give you incentive/money to get the coin off their hand. Of course everyone will "buy" below 0.

And people still walk around thinking freedom of speech is real... Sure say whatever you want except for this, this, this this and this. Oh and don't mention that.

In France among a few other countries it's illegal to deny the holacaust (in other words, you are not even allowed to think what you want anymore) and doing so can even give a jail sentence.

Freedom of speech is real only if you are not criticizing the authority. Has always been this way since Adam and Eve!
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin ATM's will become the norm? on: December 10, 2014, 04:40:57 PM
ATM is not cost effective way to obtain bitcoin at this point in time.

When ATM owner lower the cost, may be it can become a norm.

191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price in 2015? on: December 09, 2014, 06:05:54 PM
Hi everyone,

I saw a few predictions for Bitcoin price in 2015. This is one of the things that caught my attention. They predict Bitcoin will reach $89 but I couldn't really understand why:

https://www.ddmarkets.com/bitcoin-forecast-2015-note-the-bearish-flag

Also, where do you think Bitcoin is heading? Down the drain or sky high?

Will probably test new low.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big players attempting to drop price on: December 09, 2014, 06:03:20 PM
Massive sell walls set up just above the price.. Someone is about to make a lot of money shorting BTC.

Slowly buying and always holding with an item that cannot produce 21 million can only have one outcome.... this winter will be a very long one, weather the storm or get out now.

Easier to pump the coin price rather than to dump it. Anyone with huge capital will have easier time pumping the price up.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? on: December 06, 2014, 11:13:06 AM
Bitcoin is now what? $470? Is it possible that bitcoin will reach that kind of worth a year and half from now?

Anything is possible.

Is it likely? No.
194  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can you mine with an xbox or wii? on: December 06, 2014, 11:09:09 AM
Is there anyway to mine using consoles?

Yes you can, but you won't get anything out of it, it is designed to let you play games not mine.

GPU is designed specifically to calculate floating point. Game consoles happen to fit in the same category.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Zuckerberg investing $100 million in Bitcoin on: December 06, 2014, 11:03:38 AM
I heard a RUMOR from a friend of a friend who knows Zuckerberg personally that the Facebook guru is planning to pump $100million into Bitcoin

True or not, I don't know - but my friend is hardly a flake.  I wonder what a Zuckerberg entry into the Bitcoin market would do to the price?

I also heard a RUMOR that my dog is secretly buying $100M worth of bitcoin behind my back.

True or not, I also don't know. But my feeling is rarely wrong.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: How could bitcoin fix the SWIFT system on: December 05, 2014, 05:24:37 PM
Bitcoin is much better than swift. Much more advanced. Swifts are way too costly.

It is the other way around.

Swift is cheap, it is the conversion rate which make it expensive. But conversion rate for btc is even higher.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you think the auction will affect the price, why? on: December 05, 2014, 05:10:52 PM
How do you think the auction will affect the price, why?

I think we will see a fall to sub $350 then a pump to $450.

Really depend on the final bid of the price and how market perceived the auction.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Techcrunch: Banks As Commodity Utilities In A New Payment World on: December 04, 2014, 05:26:06 AM
Another nonsense article

The idea probably originate from someone from the academy. Universities are full of charlatans these days.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made a Bitcoin Vs. MasterCard Graphic on: December 04, 2014, 05:23:22 AM
Lower fee and distributed control are a little misleading for bitcoin.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin FATALLY FLAWED? on: December 02, 2014, 02:47:11 PM
All technologies eventually lead to centralization and control from a single source because of economic of scale. Peer to peer protocol is a pipe dream to begin with.
