181  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: June 20, 2020, 02:30:10 PM
Definitely this is a very protracted crisis and we need to be mentally prepared for this.

Still there is no early sign of the vaccine to be there to fight against this virus and longer it continues it endangers all our lives and also the world economy is suffering because of it. How long it will take again to recover fully is still unknown, but it would be 1-2 years from now on.
Total recovery completely depends upon the availability of the vaccines, if they are developed quickly then we can see early recovery from Corona virus but if it is delayed then the damage that it does to us will keep on multiplying as the people who got infected from it previously aren't immune to it and can get infected again. It already has cost billions of dollars of loss to the economy of every country and will keep on doing it if not taken under control. I guess after development of vaccine it will be over soon.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk Token and Yobit on: June 19, 2020, 03:05:58 PM
I think so because most bots are commenting on cryptotalk. It looks like yobit was not using its native coin to pay the bots to make a comment on its site and we will see what will be happening. The forum created by that scam exchange site will be dead soon caused by people who are spamming cryptotalk will not do that again to get crap tokens.
Yobit was giving 1k satoshi per post and those who were not accepted here in signature campaigns used to go there to earn spare change. But now to make more lucrative they have introduced a new coin and its details are also kept secret as to hw many coins are present in total, all we know is that its trading will start in September 2020. For a lot of people this seems a good opportunity to gamble as maybe they can get lucky and make good profit commenting there.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 19, 2020, 02:25:57 PM
After legalizing bitcoin in India, bitcoin trading in India exploded in mid-May. Over the past month, there has been data indication, indicating that more bitcoin has changed hands on local, peer to peer exchange in India than before.

If this continues, with the way Indian's are going about bitcoin trading. The Indian market is likely to hold a great potential and importance for the future of the crypto economy. Since people in India is betting big on bitcoin
This is due to the fact that for a long period of time bitcoin transactions were banned in India and also the exchanges also withdraw support for bank transfers if you would have sold your bitcoins. The supreme Court of India decided to allow bitcoin trading again and this caused all those people who used to trade bitcoins to come back and start doing business again, now I think bitcoin is even more popular in India than ever as the case got a lot of media coverage thus getting publicity.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 19, 2020, 01:39:50 PM
When you go to the history, you will realize that the top 100 cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap are constantly being updated, every year is top 100 pretty different. What does it mean? That you need to adapt to the trend and exchange your old dying altcoins to newer ones Smiley. Or you can buy Bitcoin, it was, is and will be the NO 1 in cryptocurrencies Smiley.
Indeed, these trends change and indicate that the development of cryptocurrency is currently quite good and preferred by many people. I am very confident that at this stage cryptocurrency is a very suitable investment if we see a potential from altcoin because at this time the price is still relatively cheap at the development stage
Based on my analysis, new coins are often overlooked because coins like this are hard for you to make a profit during this time. However, in the last few years, people have been very much interested in the crypto market and hope that everyone is ready for the new phase. Later this year or early next year will be the time when many altcoins reach new ATH, and coins in the top 100 will be the top choices of many people.
Actually all the newcomers mostly invest in the currencies which are recommended by their friends or are in the top of market cap list. The new altcoins are always get ignored and when a few of the major exchange listings are confirmed for those coins, it is then only they get some recognition if their marketing team is skilled enough. But until then the opportunity to earn a lot of profit from those coins is lost and you can only earn only a little amount of profit from them, also the life of new coins is keeping on decreasing, previously they used to survive for many years but now only a few of them get listed on exchanges.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: June 18, 2020, 04:00:54 PM
I totally agree with you. In the current market situation, other altcoins are very unpredictable with their status in the market. But with top altcoins, you can be sure that they have already proven track record and much supportive community that would see it through that their coins would weather the market challenges.
Also newbies are not able to distinguish between a scam project and a good project. They should seek help from the other forum members which are old here on the forum and they can help selecting a good project to invest into.  Also a lot of coronavirus coins are coming up lately because people want to capitalize on the HYPE that coronavirus is providing, see for dogecoin, it was just a troll coin and today it is having total market cap of $300 million.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 18, 2020, 03:14:44 PM
Very often we see people sugget to use ETH or any alternative coin for cheap and faster tx. I am going to share some information which will proof that it is no better. I may be wrong too, I am not an expert here. Just sharing what I have got.

BTC Avg. Block time- 10 minutes
ETH Avg. Block time- ~14 seconds (now)

So, ETH will get around 43 blocks = 1 BTC block

BTC block size- 1 MB (Let's say we use Legacy only)
ETH Block size- 20 to 30 kb (Let's say 25kb on average)

How much byte can both proceed within 10 minutes?
Both BTC and ETH will be able to proceed 1 MB tx data on average.

Is not both same in term of handling tx? Sometimes BTC is even better with segwit.
Just sharing some random thoughts, I am not expert technically. So, I may be wrong in many ways.
Ethereum transactions are cheaper and always faster than bitcoin transactions and I always suggest you to move funds in form of ethereum and not bitcoins as it will save a lot of your time and many a times money also.
But there are may people who prefer bitcoin because they don't want to go through the hassle of converting their bitcoins into ethereum and then back to bitcoins for saving a few dollars on the transaction. Many a times if the amount being transferred is big then the sender may pay more for converting than sending their coins straight in the form of bitcoins.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: June 16, 2020, 03:02:46 PM
one important think for myself until now, why i must trust ico ranking site, they are got money from shitproject to promote them and make their project has a good reputation, they are claim "we are professional and expert about this", ewww shit that embarassing me when i'm read the statement LoL
In the past these ICO rating websites actually used to do proper research into the team and then they graded the project. But i guess now everyone is money hungry and so are the ICO rating websites. So they just take handsome amount of money from the marketing team of the project and give that project good rating, in fact now to look legitimate these projects are also ready to give these websites money, which wasn't the case a few years back.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have agricultural land would you sell it or hold it ? on: June 14, 2020, 01:13:33 PM
If you have agricultural land would you sell it or hold it ?
The best way would be to lend it to someone who can use that land. There are many people who lend their agricultural lands to others on a fixed price per year and benefit off from it, as to the owner the land is of no use and would remain there barren for eternity, but a farmer can cultivate crops on it and then pay you money too for your land and also your land will be increasing in value if you sell it in the future after the end of this pandemic or 10 to 20 years from now. So this works the best for my family, as we also have agricultural land in our hometown.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need a reality check, is an ICO right for me to fund a business? on: June 14, 2020, 12:24:33 PM
If you want to fund your business with ICO, it's better to prepare a clear project scheme or product that is convincing and promising. I think for now it's better to make a private sale or an IEO on an exchange. almost 100% of projects that run ICO fail for now, because it is no longer the ICO era for several reasons. what the investor sees first is definitely "product" and then reviewing the project, whether it can be profitable or not. before thinking about crowdfunding, you should develop ideas related to your project first.
Also you should keep in mind that the token should be of use somewhere in your business and won't be just a holding for the investors, think of ethereum network where all the ICO were hosted you could have invested in any ICO all you needed was an ethereum wallet. So think about your business and how can others benefit by purchasing those tokens from you, if you come up with a sound idea then there will be a lot of sound pockets willing to invest in your business Idea and even better there are Pre ICO investors also who offer generous money.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What part will the Lightning Network play in the upcoming bull run? on: June 14, 2020, 11:47:45 AM
I do think one should realize that the lightning network does hold a lot of risks . I do not think why whales and other Crypto enthusiasts will actually use the lightning network.
Main problem with the lightning network is :

Security
The nodes are supposed to be online all the time which in turn makes them more vulnerable to attack and therefore I do think one should also think 10 times before exchanging big investments at the time of the bull run .

But at the same time there are wallets who are providing users with the opportunity to use the lightning network along with the normal one.

I do think it does need more development before it can be implemented correctly and used at such an important event.
The lightning network is very risky to use right now, it is still in the initial stages of development and need a lot of work to be completed.
So no one(a normal day to day) can currently use it now as the technical difficulties involved in it are pretty high and also a while back there was a user who lost huge amount of bitcoins while just trying the lightning network.
The upcoming bull run would need something bigger than just the lightning network for being successful, otherwise it would just be a short pump and then the price would eventually dump.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: June 13, 2020, 03:21:48 PM
Warning strictly for Newbies!!!

Do not ever try or think about getting loan or borrowing money to trade altcoins or invest, the damage will be so disastrous, many did this mistake in 2017 when all crypto coins are booming but I can tell you that until today they are still in heavy debt, losing your hard-earned money is better than losing loan money, imagine the frustrations Huh

Crypto investment is a high risk investment plan and they only way to get by is investing only what you can afford to lose... take my advise and let it sink in your head.
You should edit this part which I have bold out as every investment is a high risk investment and you should always think before investing in an asset as it can always loose its value in the future, it isn't specific for cryptocurrencies only. You can also see a lot of stock market companies that have lost a lot of value in the past 3 years and if you would have invested in those companies then also you would have lost your money.
Also you should never take a loan for the investment purposes as there are high chances even in a safe investment of sinking and then you will be left with a huge debt to pay and most probably you will default on your loan if you have no other source of income.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: June 13, 2020, 02:57:18 PM
Today we are experiencing a virus and that is the coronavirus or the NCov19 that is becoming pandemic immediately in just a single week and today there are a lot of people still going outside even there is a quarantine. The reason why? They need to go outside just to buy foods and things they need and also pay their bills they are prone to the virus also the virus can now be attached to the tangible things like money if they are already infected and touch the money with the virus it is rapidly spreading immediately. And today it is good to introduce the use of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin using online payment because it is more faster and secured they don't need to go outside too to pay other things they need and it is better if we are spreading those information so they can now made online payment and let's stop spreading of virus.
The idea of introduction of bitcoin for the use of digital payments is long being discussed and now a lot of people are already using it but majority of the world don't think about it. They prefer using their cards or their local digital payment processors like PayPal as they are more convenient currently than to use cryptocurrencies as normal people are ignorant and they always forget their passwords so how can they remember their wallet seeds!!! I guess day to day use of crypto is still far away from today.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy wouldn't be shut down again despite the rising case count on: June 12, 2020, 03:21:26 PM
I think a recession is long due these days, the economy was showing signs of overheating and the money the Fed pumped in the system only made it worse. I also think the US economy cannot withstand another shutdown without directly entering in a recession cycle. The current administration is probably doing everything it can to avoid this (or at least delay it), but at the end I think the recession will come no matter what happens.
Yes, the current administration is doing everything to delay the recession as this is the high time for elections and Trump doesn't want this kind of blunder on his side as this will destroy his chances of getting elected again and the opposition will surely win without any difficulties at all. So it will be best for him to avoid this defeat by postponing the recession and will deal with it after the elections. But another shutdown will be the final nail in his coffin as a lot of people are already pissed after the first lockdown and still there isn't any control on the spread of COVID till now.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think is the right time to buy BNB now? on: June 12, 2020, 02:38:05 PM
I think that the market is not stable now, and even if the news is very good, the price may not begin to show positive dynamics. I think that now when the price drops you need to buy BNB and wait for improvements
You should always compare the price before buying a coin, as already the coin is moving up from last day's dump and already there have been much accumulation of BNB now, so you should wait for another dump to buy coins in cheap as in May also the price of BNB was at around $10 in its lowest so just wait for another dump like that and I am sure it is going to come in the next couple of weeks and then you should buy BNB.

BINANCE is introducing new coins to the world through their own platform
This is the major factor driving up the price of BNB due to the amount of IEO's that they are hosting and also how those IEO are performing after getting listed on the exchange. So yes in less than 5 years down the future the price will cross $100 for sure.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending 130$ , with a transaction fee of million ! on: June 12, 2020, 02:06:20 PM
This seems to be the highest level of error I have seen in this space and I feel it's intentional. You can't just use that has gh amount as transaction fee and not plan it. Well the miners will be lucky. But it's obviously not a mistake.
The mining pool has blocked all the miners funds and are willing to do a 50-50 split with the owner of the wallet if he comes out and asks for the funds. This is the best thing that I like about cryptocurrencies, there were also numerous incidences in the past where a person interchanged the amount of coins that he wanted to send with the fees used and that time too the pool that confirmed the transaction was also willing to give the funds back to the owner of those coins. Lets see if the owner comes foreword or the funds will be given to those lucky miners.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges not accepting mixed BTC, so is BTC no longer fungible? on: June 10, 2020, 04:20:21 PM
Many exchange behave like their center of the wourld. But currently community has no other chance as use them.

I also hate these big exchanges using BTC legacy adresses for deposit messing the chain up....
But the people can avoid using such exchanges as of now. There are many alternatives to these exchanges. Or the other alternative is to stop using mixing services which is a pretty good option if you ask me, or use privacy centered coins like Monero for moving funds and storing them later in bitcoins.

look at Coinbase, have they lost any volume? no. so they will continue doing whatever they like.
This is because majority of users don't use mixing services for their bitcoins and those do they already have other plans if they face these kind of problems. So you always have to be responsible for your funds or else there are many people in the market to who want to con you.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Currency Value Falls During Recession? on: June 10, 2020, 03:36:35 PM
There is a popular saying that Cash is king, a term reflecting the belief that money (cash) is more valuable than any other form of investment tool, especially in the event of an economic downturn when there are cheap securities and properties that could be bought with cash.

On the flip side, I am very curious to know if the value of fiat currency appreciates or depreciates during a recession and why.
The value of currency always depreciates during a Recession(also in a normal economy the value of cash depreciates due to inflation) and the same goes with the investments. The best example is of Zimbabwe where the trillion dollar notes were also of no use to the public and also of Germany post World war II when for a single loaf of bread you would have to give a bag full of cash. So when the government prints money the inflation increases and in a recession the inflation increases exponentially.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be sure to post every week for that stakes. on: June 10, 2020, 03:17:15 PM
Also be reminded that some of these bounties won't pay instantly, just because they remain quiet doesn't mean they won't pay someday, I promoted two bounties in 2018 and they paid this year, I've already considered that they are scam projects but I was surprised they paid
That's really weird and awful that took you 2 years in waiting for some bounties. I think maybe they decide to clear up their reputation and the scam attached to it, eventually pay up to move on to a new project. It 's quite if you're a bounty hunter at today, every project with bounties running very long with stake each day and also even after the bounty ends, you still have to waiting even more.
Its always good to join those projects which are already listed on an exchange or atleast having confirmed listed soon. These projects are having promise of paying at least. So all your work won't go to waste as you will get something in return of your work. Also I really like the campaigns hosted by bounty detective, they have a great reward pool and also in the campaign in which I currently am the coin is already listed on the exchange, so you always have the zeal of posting constructive posts.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: June 07, 2020, 04:30:01 PM
It is no coincidence that a technology that facilitates a lot of illegal practices is the technology that is have troubles gaining approval from world governments.

I read a recent publication that says, According to CipherTrace: Thefts, scams and other misappropriation of funds from  crypto holders and exchanges have resulted in a $4.3 billion in losses in the year 2019 so far, and this will likely go on until there is sufficient oversight for cryptocurrencies and blockchain related activities because the world givernments cannot relinquish control to the masses in the way that the blockchain wants.

Regulations is needed to attain mass adoption

But the governments are not watching this fact that a lot of fiat currency is being used for the proposes of drug dealing and money laundering, they always try to hide this fact but they always say that Crypto is bad. The paper money is responsible for most of the drug trades in the world and also majority of illicit activities, even terrorism is being funded by cash itself. So how can they paint the image of Crypto as a bad currency. The thing is that they can't control Crypto and this is what they fear the most because they don't have any method of taxing it yet.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: June 07, 2020, 03:41:05 PM
If you buy a bitcoin in the price of 9000$, yes it may drop, but we have clearly seen that this is what it does. It goes up and down. If you have 1 million dollars and buy 100BTC  (900.000$) then the only thing you have to do is wait. Because someday it will pass that number and you will have profit. Am I wrong?
Once people invest in a thing they become conscious about it and always try to check the price of their investment whenever they get free time. And 1 million dollars is actually a big amount to have in a single investment so if one day you see the Price of your investment go down in a single day by more than 20% then you will surely sell most of it so as to Cut back your looses and this will cause you to lose money, so volatility is the reason that people are afraid of investing in bitcoin.
