181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 29, 2024, 02:50:56 PM
If gambling is legal in your country, how can they prohibit you from using VPN to gamble? I have never seen such a law. The only exception is when online gambling is illegal in a country, then they prohibit you using other methods that will help you to bypass the restriction but since online gambling is legal in your country, I don't understand why particularly VPN usage for that purpose is prohibited.
I can see that happen if the casino is under certain regulations that prohibit VPN usage, or simply because they want to make it easier to filter out bots or cheaters. I think the latter is most often the case, and I doubt you can do much about it unless you want to fight them in court. I don't think it is worth the cost especially if you use overseas platforms. As others already mentioned, they will just point out the ToS if you want to make a fuss about their rules.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: does betonline.com send an sms when you sign up? on: March 29, 2024, 01:55:22 PM
Are you sure the domain name is correct? I tried to visit it with a VPN and DNS encryption but it shows a name server error. Are you sure it is not .ag instead? I found them on social media and most search engine shows that if you search 'betonline'. If that's what you're referring to, my country gets filtered so it is very likely that using a VPN will result in some punishment including losing your money after you deposit it.
183  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery [ 💰 Ticket price - 3$ ] on: March 28, 2024, 06:07:55 PM
but I do not understand how we can hide the amount of the prize, because it is the main information of the drawing.
If you're using it for marketing purposes, wouldn't showing the top prize from each lottery session be good enough? For example today the total lottery is $100, and the first winner wins $80, but doesn't explicitly mention their wallet address or username. I'm not saying you should hide the prize, it would be terrible if nobody knows how much they can win. Even if the users need to do KYC, I'm pretty sure some are uncomfortable showing how much they win to the public. At the very least, having the option to do that would be nice imo.

Seeing the Asian teams having a surge in their love towards football is great. Normally we see them in other sports that they enjoy, and they are great there, but they do not care about football as much as we do, and that's why it's such a tough thing for a title team to come out of there.
Are you referring to the Indonesia vs Vietnam match or other Asian qualifier matches? I don't think you can calculate their love for football from their results tho, unless they spare no effort to run or make a decent pass in a match. In my country, I don't feel like supporters' love towards their national team is gone, the problem is the federation in charge made too many mistakes that affect the quality of the national team. Not sure if this will ever improve, I guess time will tell whether the good track record is sustainable or not.
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLoto.org - daily crypto lottery [ 💰 Ticket price - 3$ ] on: March 28, 2024, 03:38:16 PM
I missed the draw so I can't comment on the lottery process, but it seems like you list the winners at the bottom of the page. Did anyone comment on it before? Personally like it if the winner's address is limited to the last three digits only, or just make it hidden for the visitors to avoid privacy issues. If you can hide the winnings amount that would be better, or allow the users to hide it.

DDOS protection is a good idea IMO. Even if it might help contribute to the randomness, I can see it stressing the server and reducing the experience for regular users.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 28, 2024, 02:55:37 PM
If you reduce the love of making money, your addiction will reduce. If any person that is suffering from addiction snub the love of money and focus on other aspect of life, the gambling addiction will clear up with time if manage properly. It's not even advisable to put money before gambling, you likely suffer with addiction if care is not taken.
I think that's the point of why they are problem gamblers. They cannot stop and fail to get out of addiction. What makes you say that "generally" gambling addiction happens to people who love money more than others? Is there any research on this? Certain factors might affect whether you will become addicted or not, including some drugs[1] but I've never heard of research that supports your idea. Other factors like age and environment also show up often when I search about gambling addiction[2]. Some even went as far as saying that financial problems are one of the key factors, but there is no way to quantify how much love for money affects that[3]. If anything it feels like anyone who struggles financially wants money to survive, not necessarily because they "love" it. CMIIW.

Ferrari will have a great time with Horner, Newey and Hamilton.  It will he a great time to be a Ferrari fan too.
How is their car though? My knowledge of F1 comes from a meme community and as far as I can see Ferrari had trouble with their car last year. I read some news saying things will be different this season[1], and the first impression looks solid as far as the racing result goes. Do you think the result is sustainable, or does track affect how their car will perform?

188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 27, 2024, 05:42:01 PM
Guys after what Bayer Leverkusen do against Qarabag for me they dont are a contender anymore in this cup, i know its early but you cant strguled so much against a weak team like Qarabag.
Liverpool is gonna beat Leverkusen easily in a game.
Eh, I've seen a lot of matches where the better side failed to win or even lose the match in cup competition, so dismissing them way too early is never a good call. I mean there are tons of comebacks like Liverpool vs Barca, Barca vs PSG, etc that show how a match can be affected by many things, not as simple as "better players = win". We could argue that Qarabag is not that weak, they managed to score 4 goals against Leverkusen after all. I mean Liverpool also failed to win many "easy matches" this season. The game is still open.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 27, 2024, 04:55:58 PM
This happened to me but not with a gambling address. It happened with our local exchange application. I used to just deposit at the same address that I have been using for a long time and then suddenly I was surprised when I checked my deposit address was changed.
-snip-
They said that my old address is still live, so even if I use it I will still receive the amount deposited. Still, I just want to be careful so that no problem will happen in the future.
You are lucky that they gave you back the deposit because other gambling sites won't even care about it.
I'm not sure how casinos manage their users' deposit addresses, but the logic should not be that different from how exchanges generate and manage their users' addresses. It is just a deposit database, to begin with, and addresses never expire regardless of what they tell you. It depends on the ToS how they handle 'expired' addresses if the users mistakenly send some crypto there. Is there a similar case to OP's, or the context is different (such as using an old address after the casino sent notice a month prior or so)? I believe any reputable casino will help you if you end up in OP's situation, if they don't I'd suggest moving to other platforms asap.
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Leads to Colabs/Promoters ? on: March 27, 2024, 03:39:35 PM
whether it's getting money for it or having a cross-promotion which means you will need to promote them in your community in return for the collaboration.
I don't think big channels will do cross-promotion with a small channel though. Based on my past experiences they only do cross-promotion with a channel that has similar reach (and OP seems to have that goal already). Even if they do promote smaller channels, I'm pretty sure the bigger ones get other incentives. One of the biggest channels that I follow today rarely (almost never) promotes crypto groups/businesses unless they are as big as Coinmarketcap, etc. So I won't be surprised if they charge a lot of money for a simple shout. Not really surprising since they have a big audience.

Unfortunately one of the "good" small groups that focus on members' discussion that I know of seems no longer active today, so I can't really link that to OP. One of their biggest members also disappears from social media for unknown reasons.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 27, 2024, 02:45:47 PM
I don't see why people keep complaining about KYC in an online casino. If it is what is required to secure the money of users in the casinos it is a good idea that all casinos should make KYC mandatory. Truth is i can't trust any casinos that don't make KYC compulsory because i would freak out with time. Like how can you trust a platform that don't take security seriously? Risking your money to platforms that would do nothing when something mistakenly happens to it.
I don't think KYC is a feature to secure users' money though, can you describe how submitting personal details helps the casino/platform that you use to improve how they store your deposit?  I believe even if the casino doesn't know who you are, they can store your money carefully with techniques like a multi-sig wallet, no single point of failure, making sure no workers can gain access to their hot wallet, etc. KYC details are just one way for them to verify who you are, so that either they can comply with the law or do an investigation if somebody is suspicious. I believe there are other ways to verify whether somebody is a bot or not without doing KYC.

One of the most obvious issues with KYC in any platform is the risk of data leaks. There have been tons of database leaks in the last few months or so. You're lucky if they don't leak any sensitive data, but there's no guarantee it won't happen in the future. Not to mention the risk of data abuse such as selling your contact details to other parties without your consent like what happened with Facebook.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 27, 2024, 01:55:21 PM
In this way, Indonesia has the opportunity to remain in comfortable position and still be able to continue to advance to the next round of World Cup qualification in the Asian zone.
Is Philiphine a strong team? I remember seeing them lose to Vietnam in this qualifier, so I believe that would be the priority for Indonesia if they want to go through the qualifier. Seeing Iraq win 5-0 against the Philippines might affect how they play against Indonesia, but it shouldn't differ much as long as Indonesia's team doesn't change too many players. If I'm not wrong, they fielded many new players against Vietnam, if they can improve their teamwork they should be able to play better against Iraq or the Philippines.

it is even more convincing that Indonesia is experiencing very good development so far, no longer being a team that is easy to beat but becoming a team that must be taken into account by any team,
Do you think the nationalization strategy will be sustainable in the long run? I'm not confident if we see a change of leadership or coach in the national team this good trend will continue. I guess time will tell if the national sports organization will continue to prioritize our national team's development or if they will focus more on making money through deals, ads, etc.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2024, 04:28:57 PM
Currently there is quite a lot of speculation about Araujo being sold by Barcelona and personally I think a team like Barcelona would prefer fresh money to make the team better and get out of the crisis they are experiencing rather than keeping a player so that the team continues to struggle with problems.
Did they solve their contract problem already? I remember reading somewhere that De Jong gets a lot of money per week. The number is insane and that probably contributes to their financial struggles. There's no point if they keep approving expensive contracts for new players. Incentives are important but surely not without rules. Imagine a young player getting paid millions of dollars without any clause at all, it will affect how he plays. Looking for free agents is also an option, but again you need to be smart with their contracts so you don't overpay and get into a cycle of being in debt and selling players to pay it.

But the problem I see here mate is what if the change happens almost minute or second apart from the sending of the funds? I mean the timing of the sending is almost same from the changing of wallet address then this will still occur like what you have experience here.
Yeah, I think OP is just incredibly unlucky. The chance for the exact scenario to happen again is quite low unless you pay with a low fee that might put your tx way below the average fee. Even if you double-check numerous times if the change happened when you sent your money nothing can be done. The only way to prevent this comes from the platform you used. They should provide a window before the old deposit address becomes obsolete. That should save the user and the CS some hours of support chat.

Atlanta which was doing good in Serie A but sadly in last few games they are struggling and have not good time which is surely creating some doubts about their progress in this event.
Are you referring to their recent draw results? I wonder if a change of motivation will change how they play in the Europa League. I believe I see a lot of comments that suggest a team like Atalanta who probably doesn't have a good shot at the Champions League or winning their domestic league would rather focus on cup competitions or the Europa League. They did manage to win against Liverpool in the past, didn't they? But it is hard to tell if that happens because they become more clinical or other factors affect them. At the end of the day, the recent break is one of the best chances for the coaching team to find a suitable game plan to win against Liverpool.

Bagnaia and Marquez have thrown away a lot of points and what they have done good so far.
Marc suggests that the crash is Bagnaia's fault[1]. On the other hand, Bagnaia claims that the incident was just that, an incident, and not his fault[2]. Looks like there is no further clash between them though, so that's good. Some already write how Ducati needs to handle their relationship better just in case things like this happen again[3]. And oh boy, the comments are fiery. I believe finding who is at fault is not helping anybody, at least not publicly. If there is a problem Ducati should handle it privately IMO, making everything public will only attract nasty speculations and dumb comments.

And for 30 minutes, every visitor to the site moves the winners list down one position. A small battle of the contestants, which brings some interactivity and proves that we don't fake the results. you can log in from two different gadgets and check how the system works.
I'm unsure where I should view the list, is it the current lottery tickets tab? Or it is not yet live? How would you prevent people from spamming new website visits and how reliable is the UI? I'm discussing whether there is a lag between each visit and updating the winner. Not sure who would attack it as of now, but if the traffic increases wouldn't it be problematic if someone could DDOS your website easily? Correct me if I misunderstood something.

Make sure to double-check if the dedicated IP is really dedicated or not. I remember using a VPN that claims they offer dedicated IP but later found out that they simply limit the registered user's access to that IP depending on their plan.
How can you check and know if dedicated IP given by VPN is really dedicated or used by someone else? The only way I know is to check on some websites if your IP (given by VPN) is blacklisted or not. I think, you probably bought Static IP instead of dedicated IP because static IP is the one shared by small number of people instead of being absolutely dedicated. NordVPN and SurfShark offer dedicated IP. You can have a look at this list of VPN service providers.
Other than that, I believe we can check or ask for a review, or worse come to worst try the service ourselves and see if our IP is suddenly getting blacklisted by service providers or not. Unfortunately, I don't know a sure way to know it either. Thanks for the link, but I know the differences between static and dedicated IP, and I'm pretty sure VPNs I used never sell static IP either. At the very least, the appeal would be low. But they for sure can mislead users with the word "dedicated" to refer to static IP service and the only way to know whether they do that or not is to look at the ToS or check the service on our own. If you're referring to this, then yeah I can see that this is what happened. At the end of the day though, if you're using a friendly provider they probably won't outright ban you. Still risky to do it though. CMIIW.

But what kind of message they"re sending to Albon, I don't know... He haven't done nothing wrong and now he is forced to miss race because of temmate mistake.
I assume something like this is mentioned in his contract, or there is a clause that the manufacturer can use whenever extraordinary incidents happen. Otherwise wouldn't it be possible for the driver to sue them if stuff like this happens? How shitty it would be if a racer who can win the championship can't race because his teammate is better and more likely to win just because the manufacturers run out of cars to use. Although if that does happen maybe they won't do it like this.
