181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: December 10, 2017, 10:59:04 PM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!
It is really painfull thing happened to you. I hope that you have HODLD all your coins and gained huge profit at the moment =)
You cant still be sure if you would able to make money on those alts that you do hold that eventually decrease their price but well holding them and not selling them on lose is the most wise thing to do rather than on panicking seeing your portfolio is on reds. 80% is already severe and for those people who dont have much experience would normally freak out and dont know on what they wanna do on this kind of situation.
I don't think so. I'm a trader, so sometimes, I need to accept my loss. This is the requirement to help me become a professional trader and receive more experiences. It proves I'm not a person don't accept my mistake to help me grow up.

TokenTracker Summary
Total Supply:   2,000,000 CAT

Why your token has only 2 million coins?
You said that coins there will be 2 billion.

And what the contract is?

I think you got the wrong one:
https://etherscan.io/token/0x68e14bb5a45b9681327e16e528084b9d962c1a39

On etherscan, just type BitClave in the top right search. There is other CAT tokens, very bad naming.

I haven't thought up this address, and it is indicated directly EtherScan, with the message from developers that it and is the new address Bitclave

Yes, I need to hear the answer from devs about this issue. I didn't hear anything about burn token or reduce total supply coins for this token. I can see the bounty campaign of BitClave spend more than 3 million tokens, it's higher than the total supply coins. Cheesy
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🌟🌟 Datum - Unlock the Bln $$ Data Economy - ICO 29th October - 🌟🌟 on: December 10, 2017, 09:33:49 PM
OKEX Exchange to List Datum’s DAT Token

As a pioneer in digital asset based futures, OKEx has the longest possible history of building safe digital trading products on the blockchain.

https://blog.datum.org/okex-exchange-to-list-datums-dat-token-504dd2533dca
But actually this is an exchange has small volume in Korea, I don't think the volume trading of Datum on this exchange will be higher than the volume trading on EtherDelta. And I'm waiting coinmarketcap add this token to help me easily follow the price.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: December 10, 2017, 09:27:34 PM
Cash will never be extinct even how much they would try... Cash will still remain because not all the places in the world is connected to internet or to mobile connection... there are many places in the world that are still remote where cryptocurrencies are never heard before. You might even lose your head if you say you'll gonna pay them with a cryptocurrency.
I have a little bit different opinion in this matter because I think the world is going to be taken over by technology in near future and all the things are going to be automated rather  converted into digital form.  Now that we have been introduced with crypto currencies which are a way faster than paper money transactions and a lot better in many other aspects, there is a possibility that we will live in a cashless society one day.
Technology is taking over the world but you cannot except that process to be symmetrical all over the world, in first world countries this is possible since those are rich countries in which most people have access to a lot of resources, but in third world countries where a lot of people are struggling to survive you cannot hope that process to have the same speed as in first world countries.
I'm living in the country is developing, however, the top ranking our activities in cryptocurrency always on top 10 of the world. It proved the economy and financial of the country can change by the people, not is the government, as long as the people want it or not.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: December 10, 2017, 09:06:22 PM
Well, maybe bitcoin is freedom when you've got your bitcoin like having the freedom you can buy what you want and you can feel everything you have and nobody is paying attention to it unless you alone
yes bitcoin is freedom when we join bitcoin forum and earn money from this forum so we free from every problems and difficulties that we face in our life, we can secure our future from bitcoin and much more do with our bitcoin currency but first of all we should read properly about bitcoin so that we complete our task and found many benefits.
Bitcoin is freedom because the nature of Bitcoin doesn't depend on any personally. It doesn't mean you can earn money through Bitcoin easily and don't have problem, it's your life, Bitcoin just helps us have more opportunities to make money. But about the technology and the nature of Bitcoin in the world's economy, it's freedom.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: December 10, 2017, 08:45:20 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

There are so many people, including me, are storing bitcoin for a long time because we know that the value of bitcoin are rapidly increasing. Also, it's certainly possible that in the future, the value of bitcoin will be more luxurious. So if we will gonna hold it for a long time and if the bitcoin value already reach its peak, this will be surely our advantage in the future.
But it doesn't mean you need to hold Bitcoin without any target. I asked a lot of people are the Bitcoin holder "when do you sell Bitcoin?" but almost the answer are unknown. It's really bad for long term investment because they are greedy by the value and growth of Bitcoin.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: December 10, 2017, 04:48:25 PM
Yes,cryto is the future. For getting money as a profit in future, you can invest in crypto world. It will give you more money as a profit.
It will only give you more money if you know how to hold, it's important that we understand that the longer the market will survive
the more the price will appreciate so holding for long term is a very successful method of investing bitcoin.
More demand, the value and the growth of Bitcoin will be good, it means the cryptocurrency market always need to have the demand and can't stop if want to grow more. Holding will make the crypto market become quiet and passive, because when the demand be stop by the investor bought enough for holding, it will be the end of the crypto market.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: December 10, 2017, 04:34:36 PM
When it comes to profitability maybe yes, bitcoin defeated gold but we should not compare it because those two are completely different. "What if" there will be a time where bitcoin or even fiat might lose its value though it looks impossible but when that time comes, gold will probably take over the currency's place.
Gold investment is an ancient history now. We all need to alter our actions in the face of changing circumstances. This is the way of surviving in this world. Bitcoin is the new trend of investors. It is going to be the future of money and convert our society into a cashless society. It has surpassed gold and all other Investments in every possible mean. Anyone who wants to increase his capital in short time must go for Bitcoin
Although I don't negate the growth of Bitcoin defeated the value of Gold and other assets, but I never have thinking as "Bitcoin defeated paper money" (it doesn't mean credit card). Paper money is the best tool to help us create transaction and make deal without internet. It's very useful and easiliest for using in the world's economy.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: December 10, 2017, 04:09:46 PM
Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.

Future always unpredictable. But i do not think btc will go backword and become alts as king. Eth can come
To some extent but not pass the btc. Btc is the king , they doing forks so they will be the market leader.

If btc dies who crypto go away
Currently, the total supply of Ethereum isn't limited, you must to know it's not the small problem for the growth of a currency in long time. It makes the value of Ethereum can't increase to high price because the total market cap can still increase without increase in the value.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 10, 2017, 03:47:42 PM
As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.

As you said there just a "tax avoidance" made by using cryptocurrency. Yes, as of now it's very easy not to report income derive cryptos due to anonymity of transactions and tax bureau would hard hard time of tracking each transaction but I don't think it could kill income tax. It's much possible that government can make another law/bill with regards to reporting of crypto income and paying tax due.
The Japanese government did that! They are managing the activity through cryptocurrency in their country. As far as I know, they can catch the criminal used cryptocurrency for crime and money laundering since they accepted cryptocurrency is legally in Japan. So, it's not difficult to know someone are using cryptocurrency and tax them.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 03:26:33 PM
one reason may be that people don't believe in new technologies because they don't have much experience, maybe they also don't like that there is no legalization...many are frightened by the lack of stability

Yeah it does happen when some people start something new and different. You are right it is also happening because people are not having a lot of knowledge about bitcoin. They are curious about it and they are not very broad minded people. But if you will show them your earnings from bitcoin they will definitely ask you about it and will show interest about bitcoin to earn it.
I don't know others around you are interesting in Bitcoin or not, but honestly, the price of Bitcoin reached $15,000 made a lot of people in my country interested it. Beside that, my family also stopped their worry about the future of cryptocurrency and my job, I so happy the value of Bitcoin made others changed their thinking.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: December 09, 2017, 04:38:03 PM
Yes;Bitcoin is really secured. The security syestem of bitcoin account is great. If you can submit your bitcoin in your coinbase account it is totally secured.
Hackers would be able to access your access depending upon your level of protection on your computer make sure your password is not easily accessible and would be changed from time to time. Also when using bitcoin make sure you are not accessing any harmful site in order to prevent access by hackers. Also, I think bitcoin would not be ban by government easily because you are not handling any dangerous activities here.

There is no doubt in the security of bitcoin because if there is small doubt then hacker will hacked that but still there is no such news came about the security of bitcoin and its proof that bitcoin is most secure then other currencies.
You have to know "NO ONE CAN HACK THE BITCOIN SYSTEM", ok? Yup, Bitcoin can't get hack by anyone, because its system created by all users, as long as the users still using Bitcoin and grow more, no one has chance to attack this system. Research the concept about decentralized network, you will understand.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: December 09, 2017, 04:11:40 PM
No, cryptocurrency can disappear the real money, you know why because the government of the different country will not allow it. Government won't it will happen. Cryptocurrency is only an internet base exchanges. It will happen we know that some country ban n cryptocurrency.  Still real money will be used.
I think bitcoin cannot really make real money disapear because real money is already use by people all arround the globe from the time that bitcoin has not really exist .maybe some people well really use real money today because they really do using it before and maybe some people would not really even know what is bitcoin. Maybe on the near future many people will use bitcoin but it is not going to replace a real money.
Why not? Everything can happens, even Gold, it's the old monetary system of the world since feudalism era, why did we transfer to use paper money and visa card to replace this system? We are living in the digital world, we need to use the technology can help us save more times.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: December 09, 2017, 03:45:15 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

I don't think that altcoin will just die because of bitcoin. There are two possibilities of what will happen here: People could be afraid to invest on coins again because of what happened to bitcoin, thus reducing the amount of altcoin users, or people will look for a new altcoin where they will treat as the new bitcoin.
The only thing that i know that will happen if bitcoin dies is the altcoin will go up fast and big because the demand from bitcoin will transfer into altcoins and those altcoins will have a huge demand and it will trigger the price to go up very fast and make all of the altcoin investor satisfied with the price pump and profits.
Your prediction will be true if the cryptocurrency world is still interesting in that time. But, if the people stop to buy Bitcoin, they need to have some reason make them do that. Maybe, they know the new technology can make them get more profits then cryptocurrency. Wink
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 09:20:51 PM
Bitcoin is very populer any countries. But There are some bad points and no one can catch that side. Bitcoin through some evil people do evil things. Can not know about any country or bank account. But I think everyone can use it for the good work then everyone will go for it.

as far as I know everything we do like the business there must be a temptation, the ordeal sometimes comes suddenly we do not know, sometimes the trials are bad and good, so I think if what we face, do not be discouraged.
I want to ask you a question. With the current FIAT system of the government, can the government stop criminal use FIAT for their crime? Yeah, Bitcoin is a currency and it is as FIAT. A currency for online payment and it doesn't limits anyone using it for anything. Wink.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: December 02, 2017, 08:58:15 PM
Felony activites linked with Bitcoin is one thing, criminaliy s ananoter. I doubt that the existence of Bttcoin plays a part in growing criminality or zinc heightens criminality, but if it's, with this with out Bitcoin, crooks will invariably find a way to do...criminal offense.i hi
Silk road use bitcoin as medium of exchange, but now silk road was shutted down. Most of bitcoin transaction is in exchange site now, people are use bitcoin as a tool to grow their wealth. I think the criminality in bitcoin was reduced so much.
Crime is different thing and bitcoin is different thing if someone is using bitcoin in crime it’s not good because bitcoin is here to help humanity and it also tech a good things because bitcoin want to change a life of thousands of people around the world and it have also reduce unemployment in many countries that’s why everyone love and support bitcoin so we need to start hard work here if we start work with honesty so I’m user there will no need for crime.
We own our money, so, we can decide which thing we should do or should not do. Therefore, the criminal own their money, they can choose Bitcoin for their transaction, no one can stop them even the government. FIAT system can't stop, Bitcoin also can't do that!
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 02, 2017, 08:21:16 PM
I don't have any knowledge of mining so will not invest any money in it without any knowledge and also the electricity cost is too high in my country so I will stay away from mining and instead I will buy more bitcoins and save it for future and meanwhile will go for investing in trading from where I can generate regular profits.
Yes, very few users are good in technical aspects about bitcoin. Only those users will be making themselves involved into bitcoin mining. Rest use the different ways of earning and in my opinion it's good to save what they get from mining.
Yes, mining is a tough job and requires a lot of technical knowledge. Only a small portion of bitcoin users have earned bitcoins with mining, rest have grabbed them via signature campaigns or trading. No matter through which method you have earned bitcoins, save them because they are digital diamonds.
It's a business and normally when you are serious in mining you have to put up a good amount of capital.
That's why I stay away in this way of making money because I feel I do not have the knowledge to run this business profitable.
We should do what makes us happy because if it's your passion, earning money is easy for you.
On the off chance that we keep our sum and didn't reach to the objective then we would we be able to expect in straightforward words you can state that we should need to regard for our objective then we can be achievement. In the event that we are not giving consideration and take our sum as a capital then it won't work so yes we require some thoughtfulness regarding our capital too and to objective also.
You need to calculate carefully the profit and the risk of holding crypto coin mined. A good miner won't take more risk while they are wanting to have passive income through mining or stable income. Usually, my friends are miner choose to hold ~10-30% total amount they mined, remaining amount they will sell to have money for their life and pay the bills.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: December 02, 2017, 07:34:17 PM
Bitcoin is a very good short-term investment because we can quickly make a profit from Bitcoin.
While gold, gold is a suitable investment for the long term because it is very safe and that makes interesting both is have their own advantages.
So if you choose to make your investment safe select gold,if you want to profit quickly choose Bitcoin but Bitcoin is at risk because at any time Bitcoin price it can go down.
It is great to have those two kinds of investment because it will surely give us money in the future because if we will have a safe investment like gold that is great for our money to be putted on for the future then it will work just right and we can comfortably sleep every night and with bitcoin as an investment, it will give us fast profit that will lead for ourselves to get faster flow of income and the gold will act as a back up.
Holding Gold, you don't need to worry the price of this asset in future. We all know the demand of Gold, it's always needed as an asset indispensable for anyone want to saving money. It's also important for the rich when they want to show their rich with the world.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: December 02, 2017, 07:05:06 PM
By following the Bitcointalk forum you can be notified of all the new ICOs. However, you have to read these ICOs' projects and teams individually, or you will not find a quality project.
It's so hard to look the good project at begin. Instead, I recommend to use review ICO sites to know good project, then, go to Bitcointalk forum and find ANN thread, you can save your time to avoid shit project or airdrop token. It's my method to search good project.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [RCC] Reality Clash - First ARG Mobile Game with ERC-20 Armory on: December 02, 2017, 06:46:44 PM
Latest update to our Developer Diary is on our website, be sure to check out the progress of our devs.

https://reality-clash.com/category/developer-diary/

Very impressive hard work is going on this is worth to hold this token for long term. I hope in next year this project will start it's journey to the moon till than have patience.
You're right, seem next year if the team release alpha/beta version this coin price will start to rise although only on etherdelta exchange. So for now better to accumulate RCC coin when the price still cheap

This is right to accumulate while dev is making nice progress I also think next year will bring more excitement and fun I'm hodling this token without any tension because this token will be wonderful.

Where do you trade your RCC tokens? I can't see the token listed on any exchange and also not found in coinmarketcap. I did check this several times  to see how this token is doing and its market. I assume its just on etherdelta.

The team should at least add this on some exchange like cryptopia for its easy to monitor its market there than on etherdelta.
As far as I know, the devs are working hard to develop their product and they want to release this product as soon as possible. Therefore, they don't have any plan to list on new large exchange because their product is still developing => There is no reason to increases the price of token
