I am so glad you mentioned this cause it proves that you simply don't do your homework. The hosting was paid, you can get a coin listed too by simply paying the service fee. ALL questions were directed at peacheycake (I can't keep track of his alias on all forums), the website/marketing/salesman guy. ie, dev., and other unknown devs.

I think I'll release a new crypto every week and pay people to pump it. (not really, I have ethics and morals and I'm already working on a project that will never touch Nova or it's peers.)

Neither do I. That's why we call it free markets. This coin is just a branch off ideas from another pre-existing coin (the other coin name was even on their website pre-ANN!!)

See above. I think they jumped the gun, personally. There were enough people for them to GIVE/trade Vivo and alpha test the core, qt and masternodes but it was only THREE people (devs)who did pre-ANN, NO outsiders. There is a LOT you are NOT being told, which is why I try to share from my firsthand experience from MY observations.
Everyone is free to handle his/her own project the way they like it. If you don't agree with it, whether you don't like it or you were not included in the group of early birds, just skip it. Claiming something without valid proof just makes you look jealous. I WILL buy on exchange and I will invest as I see fit, but there are a LOT of issues and flat out exaggerations going on with Vivo that I've been tracking it for at least 3 weeks even with the wallet (fork1 and fork2!), masternode info and mining info pre-ANN. I am not aware of the forks, but if you board a plane too early you have to live with it if you have to get out for whatever reason. If you would have done your research properly, like you claim, it wouldn't have been an issue for you personally. So far, it appears to be a BTC grab and devs guarding their premine like a greedy Smaug while the miners pay more for hardware & electricity than this coin is worth (0 at the moment since no true exchange, just P2P speculation prices on a topic board). Free markets. If you don't like it, don't join it. I will stay. I will share my opinion. If you don't like, move on, don't read my rants. I'm not FUDing, but trying to be an advocate for everyone besides the devs. I don't like what I see and I'll buy low and get my MNs going to give my continued feedback on issues and possible solutions. If you think a coin could be only successful if it's traded right away on an exchange, you might just sit on a pile of coins you want to dump while no one is willing to trade or never heard about how other coins started. Or you didn't manage to get in early. However, if you think this coin isn't worth it I suggest you just move along. If you have any proof of bad intentions by the dev team please share them with us. There is a difference between constantly bitching and raising your voice to ask uncomfortable questions. If you have a real interest in getting this coin listed, I suggest you do your part. If you don't have any interest and you want to raise awareness please do it in a meaningful way. The pre-mine was never hidden and could be seen by people from the beginning. I assume it's because you are running a hot node which I would not recommend. Hot node means the coins are in a wallet on your server. The better approach would be setting it up as a cold node. Not impossible, but to have a comparison with a few other masternode coins: Pivx : $2.10 HLM (SPR) :$1.50 ChainCoin: $0.25 DAS: $0.20 ArcticCoin: $0.07 Only Dash is more expensive than $4 per coin in this category. I hope Vivo will succeed, and I hope the team behind it knows how. keep in mind DAS did that with a dev that doesn't seem to care. so at least that range is pretty doable Yes, I agree... I can see Vivo in the DAS - CHC range, around $0.2 - $0.25 myself too. That is realistic, not on the $4 per coin and 1BTC a masternode level. And congratulation for your masternode guide, nice one... actually that wasn't my point. das has a let's say lazy dev. chc has devs but nothing happend for a long time. dash is around for a long time. i am not really into pivx and hlm. the point is: with active development the coin can gain some value. vivo didn't have an ico. looking at some offers and asks, ppl are willing to buy 5k for 1btc, by the time writing this. it's too early to assume what will happen. one can argue about the premine but I assume some of it will use for bounties. however if those coins will pay for future development I am cool on that. |
