181  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cheapest L3+ , S9 & Baikal Miners Available to Ship from Stock - MinersNow JULY on: July 08, 2017, 09:54:29 PM
If you are trying to pull a preorder scheme than obliviously escrow wouldn't be your friend.

1) Nothing is on pre-order in our store currently. Yet, there is a plan for the new mining GPU's soon.
2) Escrow is not our friend because it means transfer of funds at around a month later. Sorry, we won't be shipping any products at our cost, as slow the sales may get. Please do not expect small business or individual opportunities from us because we just started selling miners. We do have our own funds to continue business in the coming months, whatever may come.

You may only see a discount in the near future on Mining Cave equipment due to cards getting obsolete.

Thank you for your interest.

You have no reputation and have no interest in doing escrow on the forum.  If you are a legitimate  seller and would like to start earning users trust your only option is to offer escrow on the forum.  Other than that only clueless first time miners will trust sending coins directly to you.

The faster you ship the miner the quicker it will be released from escrow.
182  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Checking Interest for Titan Cubes(2X Set) on: July 08, 2017, 09:29:11 PM
Where are you based?

Also, I appreciate you're going to get a lot of this, but asking eBay prices is a bit much for the forums. Especially since they are just listed at that price and haven't sold?

I'd be interested in these at the right price I think. Look forward to hearing from you.

Definitely not asking eBay prices for sure. Just let me know your offer.   These will be shipped from Maryland, US.
183  Economy / Computer hardware / Checking Interest for Titan Cubes(2X Set) on: July 07, 2017, 08:03:48 AM
Hi Guys & Gals,

Would like to see if there is any interest.

The titans are currently under clocked to keep temperatures under control but you can get 300 MH/s on each set. They seem to be going for about $2700 per set on eBay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/3x-KNC-Titan-in-good-condition-850MH-HC1RM1SH3-HC1RM1SH9-HC1RM2SH5-/322580505546?hash=item4b1b4be3ca:g:zoYAAOSwwvZZXbV5 .

NOTE: I am not asking for eBay prices. Have sold many miners back on here in the past so I am in touch with reality. Just ping me your offer for the titans. As I mentioned in the subject checking interest.

Will also include the PSUs that power these titans.  Please pm any offers if you are interested in purchasing 3X set of cubes
Will do escrow through OgNasty.

Titan 1 - 5 cubes  | Can hash at 300 MH/s
Titan 2 - 4 cubes  | Can hash at 300 HH/s
Titan 3 - 3 cubes  | Freshly repaired by lightfoot these cubes has at 170 MH/s SOLD

* Titans 1 and Titan 2 will not be shipped until end of August when I get to go to the private colo. However once the funds is secured in escrow or received I will configure to miners to mine for you.  Have done this before in the past.  Please see previous posts for sale and trust.

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: July 07, 2017, 02:35:57 AM
So I put "50" in the box for customize fan speed, and the unit won't start up.  If I remove it, it starts back up no problem.  I just want to quiet the thing down a bit, any ideas?
Is the L3+ fan as noisy as the s9 or T9? Would it be suitable for home mining?

The fan isn't that loud, its some kind of tunnel noise that the airflow makes going through the machine, not totally sure how to get it quieter though.

Has anyone else been able to reduce the fan noise anyway?

Anyone had success in reducing the noise level for the L3+s ?

mindtrip:

For transparency post the transaction that you refunded to him or the hackers. Once that can be verified and it matches the date you said you executed the transaction then it is pretty clear.

NORWUSA:

If your account was hacked then mindtrip would have no way of knowing that your account was hacked. He simply fulfilled the request since he was interacting with the original account.  Unfortunately he would not be at fault in this case since he was not intentionally malicious.

From your point of view mindtrip has not even sent back a refund  based on the address but he could have used another wallet. Once he posts the transaction for all to see that the refund request was made then you would be better off marking it off as a expensive but unfortunate lost since your account got hacked.

186  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: There is global shortage, why these guys have Supply Ability of 80000 Pieces on: July 01, 2017, 07:56:24 PM
It's easy to have unlimited supply of something when you're making fakes. Ask to buy a sample. That's the only way to confirm they're legit (which they aren't).

No one caught them?
they are scamming people freely and doing business with registered and certified companies out there ...wtf

Yup. Best option is to use AliExpress. Unfortunately scams are very popular when using Alibaba and it is not taken seriously. I ordered a sample for laptops before , they provided tracking number and everything. Only when I received the package it was a hair dryer.

You will have no recourse.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Repair Service/Help on: June 11, 2017, 04:57:13 AM
if you bake them, forget about using them, as problem will return + your caps will be dead, better find someone in your vicinity with bga rework station and have them reflowed properly - this may fix problem temporarily. I would definitely check vrm before attempting any temp heal.

Sad tried the temp heal before seeing both replies above. Will look for someone close by that might be able to help.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Repair Service/Help on: June 11, 2017, 04:55:57 AM
I have the same issues with the same GPUs.

Except the Gigabyte is 7970 instead of 280x, but its pretty much identical.

Both of them basically blew their VRMS.

The Gigabyte blows capacitors near the VRMS on both front and back.

Sapphire Dual-X 280x actually blew the VRMS under the heatsink.

Check this first. These were probably the crappiest 7970/280x GPUs ever made.

Found it strange that all GPUs would just stop working randomly.  Thanks for letting me know. Will look into this.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Repair Service/Help on: June 10, 2017, 10:22:01 PM
Are they detected by any kind of related software? Could it be that this is a driver related issue by any chance? Make sure you've checked those before "baking" them.

Fully checked.   They should have at least post when booting before going to the OS.  They don't post at all.  Even without drives they should have been detected using  `lspci ` but they do not show up in either Ubuntu 15.04 or 16.04.   They don't even post to allow you to enter the BIOS.

The same system runs 1X 390 2x 295 that I used to check these cards.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GPU Repair Service/Help on: June 10, 2017, 10:05:35 PM
Hi Guys,

Having some trouble with some cards.

2X 280x Gigabyte Windfore
1X 280X Sapphire

They are not detected by the OS, the fans spin and everything but the cards are not detected by the OS. It is as if they are not even plugged into the board. Has this occurred to anyone on the forum and if so how did you go about fixing it?

Planning to try to bake them to see if that helps. If anyone offers GPU repair service let me know.

Well what kind of prices are you thinking. I may interested in the sp30-35's

I will accept 5% below what the current market price is for these.  [Have not done the research to see what they are worth. So open to offers they are just sitting turned off currently. ]

Not a lot of bites at all. Do you want pictures of these exquisite miners?  Smiley
196  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] SP30, SP35, Bitmain S2 for Sale [Make Offer] on: May 26, 2017, 12:42:42 PM
    Hi Guys/Gals,

Have some miners that have been powered off for a while and are just sitting around. Shipping from MD.  Please make an offer that might be worthwhile packing them and shipping. Otherwise I guess they can become antiques.

  • 1* SP 30
  • 2* SP 35
  • 1* Bitmain S2
Sold off a bunch in the past but kept one.  To be honest, I did that for a few miners, but  they are just taking up space and not being used

Have done many deals over the years here . Escrow if required is accepted using OG
I think some other miners might be there sitting around.

2* SP 20

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: May 05, 2016, 11:47:42 PM
140MH ETH + 2.8GH DCR, 1380W/ 140MH ETH only 1180W... turns unprofitable somewhere in 0.5/kWh area.

You Ethereum miner is quite efficient. 140MH ETH only 1180W. What are the GPU and the settings or configuration?

Probably R9 Nano's but lets see
