Dear @Claymore,
I have noticed increase in stale shares from 11.2 to 11.3 about 3%. Nothing is changed beside the version of the miner. Can you check that?
What pool do you use?

Can you please include reboot.bat in the archives ? For miners that use more rigs is very hard to add the file on each updated version. Thanks, Actions that you want to do in this file can be different. How do you update miners?

Hello, @Claymore! Since it's getting warmer outside it would be fine to consider -ttli affect while rebooting by -minspeed. E.g. "-minspeed 10250" will reboot rig slower than 250Mh, but only if any of GPUs are throttling.
PS My previous problem is still there. New miner instance cannot take 3333 port after restarting in reboot.bat without actual rig reboot. Different rigs, different Windows installations, days of waiting - socket is busy anyway after "-minspeed" restarting. Also I noticed if I close miner with "X" button above, it shows "Quit, please wait..." for a while, after this sockets close immidiately. Maybe if you could execute procedures hidden in this "please wait" sign after minspeed detection, it will solve the problem?
Ok I will check it. PPS -dcri autodetection is great! Got +12 Mh from my rigs. Thanks! ) BTW, is best dcri different for different DAGs? Last year I was measuring best dcri for each GPU by myself, but yesterday realized all of them are wrong...
I did not test it, but for recent drivers it must not depend on DAG much.

Just run 11.3
I have 2 x RX580 with 8 Gb (bios mods) and 3 x RX470 with 8Gb (no BIOS mods) in my rig.
For testing I've choose auto detect -dcri value and miner detect value of 30 for all 5 cards. For RX580 -dcri 30 is the wright choice for best ETH+DCR mining output. But for rx470's -dcri 30 is not the best one, the best one is 24.
I believe the miner is not able to chose best -dcri value for different type of cards in one rig?
However it is a useful option to help find best setup.
Thank you Claymore.
I understand that automatic dcri is only for eth solo mode. For dual mining mode dcri value 30 is only default value not the best value. You are correct. -dcri values are detected automatically only for AMD cards in ASM ETH-only mode. For dual mode it is always 30 if you did not specify "-dcri" option directly.

Claymore, about 4 months ago, you told me that they update the miner, decreasing the time of the devfee, but this has not been done, when will you do an update on this miner? thanks clay
The only reason is the lack of time, sorry. I'm too busy with other miners: I released a number of other updates and new miner (NeoScrypt), a few minutes ago I released new version of dual miner. For this miner I don't see any ways to improve its performance, so I'm going to reduce devfee and apply some minor improvements not related to the speed, but I'm still not sure when I can find time to do it. For example, right now I will have to check CryptoNote miner since afaik devs of Monero will change PoW very soon and that miner will stop working completely, it's more serious reason to update it asap. But I remember about this miner and my promise. ah nice neoscrypt miner for amd and nividia? can u put your link for the neoscrypt miner? Thanks It seems my signature is useless...

v11.3:
- added automatic detection of best -dcri values in ASM ETH-only mode if -dcri option is missed. Press "s" key to see current values, you can also press "z" key to restart detection. - improved support for systems with many GPUs (eight and more) and slow CPU: much less CPU load, EthMan works fine now. - added assembler kernel for RX550 card. This card is not good for dual mining, but in ETH-only mode ASM kernel is faster by about 7%. - added "x" key to select GPU for manual -dcri value adjustment. - several minor bug fixes and improvements.

Version 11.2 doesn't run on CentOS 7 and return a missing libssl-1.0.0 even if not linked with openssl! CentOS 7 have openssl version 1.0.2k installed. Some one run claymore 11.2 on Linux with newer openssl ?
It works fine on Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04, probably you should create a link to your openssl version. UPDATE: I improved support for systems with a lot of GPUs ( > 8 ) and slow CPU: less CPU load, EthMan works fine now. I will release new version within a few days, also some other improvements will be included.
Great, I hope you included fix for fan control issue wherein fan controls are not accurate. OS: Win 10 1709 Driver: Adrenalin Dec Update GPU: Spahhire Nitro+ RX570 and Powercolor Red Devil RX570 example: -tt -60, fan is not on 60% but +/- 10%, therefore ~70 the same with fanmin and fanmax, they are above/off desired settings. Please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg20538901#msg20538901AfterBurner has same problem. For example, set 50% fan in AB, then open WattMan and see fan speed, the circle graph will display more than 50%.

I often get PM with asking for some private versions. I added the answer to FAQ, with almost no success. So I have to say again and again: I never had any private versions of any miner. Not a single one. Any private versions of my miners are pure scam, they do not exist.

Hi.
I'm writing on behalf of my miner friend. He is seeing lots of false positives with watchdog. The rig is 5x 1050 ti on Windows. The err message is "GPU error, you need to restart miner". However, no GPU actually seems to hang, miner runs fine with -wd 0 option. Tried resetting to stock clocks. Tried disabling GPUs. The crazy thing is, if ALL GPUs are disabled in miner (like GPU0 Disabled GPU1 Disabled GPU2 Disabled GPU3 Disabled GPU4 Disabled) the error message remains!
Please kindly see log with -dbg 1 below (can't see attach file button here, sorry!).
05:57:40:736 10a0 ETH: Stratum - connecting to 'eu1.ethermine.org' <94.23.36.128> port 4444 05:....
I'm getting the same exact errors. No idea why, and I was running stable on previous version. I'm running 6x RX 570s Please PM me entire log files so I can check them.

Due to critical bug with rejected shares I uploaded v11.2 again, please re-download it.
If you are not sure if you updated properly, start miner and find "b517" in the log, at the beginning, this is correct build number.
|
|
|
@Claymore , is this something to do with the bug you mentioned Stratum - reading socket failed 0, disconnect 2 times for 3 hours , and never before Yes due to this bug the miner can send wrong share sometimes, pool rejects it and disconnect, you can see it in the log.
|
|
|
I found critical bug with rejected shares (about 1%), you can see them sometimes. Fixing it, I will re-upload v11.2 within an hour.

You perhaps need to readjust -dcri for ETH-only mode, use "+" and "-" keys for that and "s" key to see current speed. You can also try "-asm 2" option with various -dcri to see if it is faster.
|
|
|
@Claymore,
I found a bug on dual mining XVG,
both on Rx 570 and 580
if you disable xvg mining on the fly(pressing the numbers), the Eth speed drops a little(1 or 2%), and only comes back to normal if you reenable the dual mining
Use "+" and "-" keys to find best -dcri value for ETH-only mode. The value can be different from best -dcri value for dual mining mode.

v11.2:
- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases. - reduced some delays, it will cause a bit less stale shares.
|
|
|
I don't plan to create x16r miner, sorry.
|
|
|
Within 1-2 days I will release new version that produces a bit less stale shares (about 1%, at least on AMD cards), it must help to raise effective hashrate a bit.
are you sure for that? less stales by about 1%
