1. For Monero, if gpu load is not 100% it does not mean that you can mine faster.
2. Power consumption: when possible, use "-a 2" option value, check readme:
"-a 2" low power consumption mode for 290/290x cards. A bit less speed (1%) but less power consumption (10-15%).

I cannot test solo mode. If it does not work for you for some reason, you can send me the log file. If ethminer works, my miner must work too. Ethminer works just fine, ethminer -G -F http://192.168.0.1:8546/miner/diff/rig99 I am sure it is only about right esm and user/ pass settings. Mining straight to parity/ geth works well. So problem is only the right syntax to connect to proxy. -edit- problem solved, it was too easy. I wrote answer myself couple of lines above this. Have a nice weekend everyone! Please share your command line that works, so people can see working config. |

I noticed that I miss some messages sometimes, sorry. I'm not linux dev and reading/parsing some files to get temps looks strange for me and will take some time to implement and test it properly. Therefore I will not do it right now, though I will do it in future anyway because it seems there is no "normal" way now, again thanks to AMD devs, they don't care about such things as backward compatibility. Also, this way allows monitoring only, fans management won't work. Right now I add new coin and I think it's more interesting feature than getting temps for Linux for 4xx cards. No Problem, thats why i try it more often  I agree that this seems to be strange for windows users, but in linux this is quite normal. The /sysfs/ folder mentioned above is a virtual file system from the Kernel (and there drivers) itself. The above paths mentioned are not files, they are more like APIs where you can control the driver. For example you can also control the FAN Speed. echo 255 > /sys/class/drm/card1/device/hwmon/hwmon0/pwm1 will set the fanspeed of card1 to 100% This realy is an important feature of your miner, and im pretty sure that bigger mining farms are not running windows  Ok, I will check it soon. |

getting poor hashrates 3.5 mhs for eth and 35 mhs for drc with this miner. I am considering upgrading to the gtx 1060 but stuck with gtx 960 for now
Check OP: ... NVIDIA DRIVERS: 9xx cards in Windows 7 x64: just use latest/recent drivers from Nvidia website (for example, 368.81). Note that latest 372.54 is slower than 368.81. 9xx cards in Windows 10 x64: you have to use old drivers (for example, 352.xx) and miner built for cuda6.5. 10xx cards in Windows 7 x64: just use latest 372.54 drivers from Nvidia website. 10xx cards in Windows 10 x64: just use latest 372.54 drivers from Nvidia website, note that you must have Win10 Anniversary update. ... |

Thanks! It works now. Cuda 7,5 in 6.3 is still faster then cuda8 in 6.4. 32.7 vs 32.4 with gtx 1070@100watt It depends on Windows and drivers version, in Windows 10 cuda8 is faster for 10xx. |

I used previous 6.x dualminers without a problem with bat file - the text provided: EthDcrMiner64.exe -mode 1 -di 3 -r 1 -tstop 83 -epool pool_addr_hidden:8008 -ewal wallet_hidden/gtx1070 -epsw gtx1070 -dpool http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?"address=sia_wallet_hidden&worker=gtx1070" -dcoin sia
Yeah, in only eth mining mode. "-di 3" - you enabled one nvidia card and skipped all amd cards. Remove this option to enable all cards. |

Any chance you could add monitoring support to the Monero miner so we can keep tabs on both ETH and XMR rigs in your miner manager?
Also, any plans on lowering the fee from 5% since you aren't the only GPU game in town anymore?
Fee is 2.5% already, I lowered it a long time ago. I'll add remote stats and some other features soon if monero won't crash in price. |
