181  Economy / Services / Re: 100[btc] Bounty on: October 04, 2015, 09:53:12 PM
i dont quite understand if you and the seller cant use it and you are both talking whats the problem... or the whole  thing is a wash
I think that the seller had a watch-only  wallet, the seller used that to exchange between him and OP. OP got scammed in fiat but seller didn't have any bitcoin at all.
182  Economy / Services / Re: Coindice help (will pay you) on: October 04, 2015, 09:51:15 PM
Could you please give more information about your problem ? As far as I understand you are trying to add a 1/2 button to CoinDice script ? If you need help with that just message me with more information and budget.

Any news from payment? I still haven't received my payment for this week.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has someone found any btc addy on directory.io with btc in it? on: September 27, 2015, 09:45:13 PM
Almost all of the keys are empty, probably all of them are empty. The chance to find an address which contains any bitcoin at all is too small.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Post the BIGGEST SCAM in bitcoin history according to you on: September 27, 2015, 09:43:08 PM
It is really difficult to say, I arguably think that the MT.GOX incident was the biggest scam that happened to bitcoin. Many people lost thousands of bitcoin and it damaged the reputation of bitcoin itself.

Pretty sure its factually MtGox? But personally i would say PayCoin for how long they/he managed to control all those people by the nose, that continued giving him money over and over and over until he was long gone on some nice tropical island sipping his martini. (Biased as hell)
Well you can argue that MT.GOX was a scam. Some will say that the actually got hacked and some will say that karpeles did it on purpose.

Didn't they catch the guy? And wasnt some insider worker revealed all of it? I just figured by now if it was true, Karpeles would of confessed by now? I have to admit i didn't entertain the thought the guy could be innocent but if it wasnt a scam, why did he run with millions of dollars in BTC?
There still isn't any proof that it was him that stole all the coins. The investigations are still on and might take time until they are solved.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the use of Bitcoin is kind of complicate? on: September 27, 2015, 09:40:33 PM
Its like learning to drive a stick or ride a bike. Once you learn, it easy. Usage must be incentivized to get past 1st hurdle.
But I think there's a lot of people that won't get over that first hurdle, and then they'll dismiss bitcoin completely.
Most people will just ignore bitcoin until they can't. The same happened with the Internet, people would ignore it now they just can't ignore it, they will have to use it in work, school or personal life. People will ignore bitcoin until a point where they just have to use it.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are possible scenarios for the block halving? on: September 27, 2015, 09:36:35 PM
The most likely scenario for the halving event would be a short to mid range price increase since the supply would be cut to half.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc to £1000000 on: September 27, 2015, 09:35:37 PM
£1000000 seems unlikely for bitcoin. If bitcoin ever hit £1000000 then the £1000000 might not worth as much as £1000000 of today.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2015, 09:32:49 PM
I think that the block halving event might be interesting for 2016. I really would like to see how the block halving will affect mining operators and bitcoin price.

My prediction: Price will increase in the 3-6 months prior to the halving...

and will then drop some and level off at a higher level than today.

The bitcoin price will definitely increase around the halving period. Either before or after the halving, but it will be interesting to analyze the movements around that time.

My post count shows normal, it might be an easter egg by the forum developers.
193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Website legit check - cryptocoinmachines.com on: September 27, 2015, 09:29:52 PM
The sites looks like a scamm, did you try to call their offices and verify who is behind this store ? If possible try to visit their offices just to make sure they are legit.
194  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 21 Bitcoin Computer or Cloud Mining Website ? on: September 27, 2015, 09:26:47 PM
I would probably just hold. The 21 bitcoin computer seems to new and not tested yet, most cloud mining operations are scams nowadays. So the safest way would be to just hold.

Yes, hold. And i don't think the 21's "Bitcoin Computer" is necessarily a scam, its just that its application and use is very questionable and sound gimmicky, just like the Antminer R1 aka Antminer Router.

And neither option sound particularly ROIable so i'd get another S4 for that price long before i would buy either of those first two option. I'm not super keen with option 3 either but its probably the best in the choices given.
I never said that the 21 bitcoin computer was a scam, I only said that the 21 bitcoin computer might be to new not tested yet by users. If someone would consider to buy one should wait until  trusted people could review it and post their thoughts on it.
195  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Buy] Amazon Accounts on: September 27, 2015, 09:24:29 PM
How much are you paying for each Amazon account ? Do you accept escrow for the transaction ?
196  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Kindshack - Blockchain Powered Platform For Buying and Selling Cool Stuff on: September 27, 2015, 09:21:52 PM
Will the store bitcoin too ? Or just kind coin ? It would be pretty bad if the store only accepted kind coin since that would indicate that store is only meant to "pump" kindcoin.
197  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-09-26] What Would Happen if Bitcoin Was Accepted Globally? on: September 27, 2015, 09:17:58 PM
Bitcoins are already accepted globally. It is possible to trade with Bitcoins, even in the most remote countries such as Zambia or Kenya. Exchanges such as Localbitcoins and Bitstamp are available in a large number of countries. However, not many retailers are accepting Bitcoins right now. But it is not an issue. Just convert the BTC to fiat, and use it for shopping.
The article is pointing out what would happen if all countries on the earth dropped their own currency and accepted bitcoin instead. I  think that the bitcoin price would skyrocket and the current bitcoin owners would be the new rich people on the earth. All governments would buy up as many bitcoins as possible.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 21 Bitcoin Computer on: September 27, 2015, 09:15:11 PM
I think that for $400 they could have at least added a an OS with a slick design. The command functions seem cool but only for tech savvy people.

That's because the device was project to be used by tech savvy people.
Exactly, but people and the media think that 21 Inc aimed to sell the computer to the masses. The 21 bitcoin computer was mean to be sold to the tech savvy people.
199  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Question about Instagram Account on: September 27, 2015, 09:11:14 PM
It really depends on the followers of the account, do they like, comment or share ? If most of the followers engage with posts of the account than the account could worth around $50-150.

It has about 200 likes and 10 comments to each pic
Are the followers real humans or just bot accounts with human profile pictures ? If each picture received around 200 likes from REAL human accounts than the account might be worth something.

I think they're almost 100% humans
Then I think that $50 should be a decent price for that account.
