Instead of looking at daily payouts.  I like to look at the whole month or combination of months.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TUQ7eEWaMKaAW1QjAHy34KL9nQ09R6dPrRELAH7gG0I/edit?usp=sharing

But I'll admit it is nice getting 3 payouts some days...haha

This is Great!!! Would you mind if I shared this in my promoting??? What equipment are you using??? Also, the 3x days are Awesome!!!

<SNIP>
I was anticipating a payout on almost a daily basis...

Welcome!!!

Although, in BIG CORPORATE POOLS, there can be enough overall hashrate for daily payouts, they are smaller than the rewards here.
Not to mention, the fees are higher, or altogether hidden in fine print. Also, people who join Kano'sPool with the "I get paid daily"
frame of mind, see smaller Rewards during the 5nd ramp, and instantly feel they are getting less than they deserve. They input their
numbers into an online calculator, and don't see the same results. However, those calculators don't figure in the 5nd. Out of fear, they start assuming they're better off somewhere else, before learning about the 5nd and getting their first "full power" rewards.

As Biffa stated, it all evens out. There is 100% truth to that statement. The variance can be nerve rattling at first, but when you
start getting full rewards, and you IGNORE the calculator, the initial fog clears. I've always looked at it as...I don't get paid daily at work.

Ultimately, at the end of the day, it's your decision, but if you're in this to learn about Bitcoin and want to earn more over the long run, there's no better Pool. Goodluck!!!

About this promotion business, don`t want to talk smack or post without a basis,BUT
I hear words that some friend`s got a guy who`s mining with a few hundred machines somewhere not very far from my countryside house.
I`ll delve deeper on this info and if it turns out true, some hash is definetely coming to Kano, will keep you guys posted.
This is definetely the best place to be!
Let`s get our dance moves ready for this BTCLOCK WEEKEND!

Nice!!! Find out what he has, he may be eligible for Kano's BTC giveaway. If he's not, he'll still do better here. Goodluck!!!

Goodmorning from Greece,I am a total noob in mining, here in Greece talking about bitcoin and mining is like talking about teleportation, noone has a clue, but still while searching about mining and pools I concluded that kano pool was the best pool to join, and the question is,why isn't everyone mining at kano pool?WTF?

Goodmorning!!! I understand your situation. I live in a small town of about 2,400 people. Even with Bitcoin being mentioned more on Television, and Radio, most people are unaware of it. I do my best to answer any questions the locals ask! Ha!

I feel the biggest reason EVERYONE doesn't mine here is, people have the perception they are supposed to get rewarded everyday. The BIG Corporate pools are also mentioned more, in statistical articles online, merely for their size and how they rank in a colorful pie graph. Although, there are more popping up recently, that put Kano Pool in the top 10.

Anyone who seriously does research, and does not just follow the TRENDS, will see the benefits of mining here. Unfortunately, many new people just "plug and play" their miners, and mine at the default pools in cgminer. Then, there's veteran miners, who fear variance or change, or mine elsewhere because they belong to a clique of blind loyalists. Ignorance is Bliss. Wink

We are growing, and we have members here volunteering their time for promoting, to recruit new members. If WE keep at it, success is inevitable.

Can you share the source of the printed picture?
I'd like to make some stickers like that! Smiley
Sorry, I cannot share the image source. My lady bought/created the image, for her screen printing business. I had her add Kano Pool, just for me. It is not on her original design. She is in the process of adding Crypto shirts to her website.

As far as selling-- I cannot, will not, without the expressed consent of Kano's Permission. The one off design I have is for personal use of promoting.

An OT comment for sure, but let's all send our thoughts and prayers to Elaine (firetreeactual) who's not on the Big Island but certainly is part of the first responders dealing with Kilauea's temper tantrum... Shocked

Mine On!  Cool

Definitely!!! Hope everyone is safe, and all settles soon. Lots of bravery there for sure!!!

Thanks for that if anyone else wants to read it was around page 1072 I believe.

When I was doing research on what pool to choose, I ran across this and many other occasions of delinquency. I spent hours scouring through the threads, and along the way, I discovered the dark underbelly of mining. It's there, and "some people" have made fortunes in the shadow of the uninformed. They STILL are today. This weighed in heavily on my mind. On a Moral level, it's just down right despicable.

Sooo, I decided that the uninformed should be enlightened, about these people and their shenanigans. However, here in the forum, one tends to get alot of friction, from "rocking the boat". Even though, most of the proof is here in the threads, people don't seem to want to notice it, or simply overlook it as opposed to speak out. Other people just stay ignorantly blissful, for the sake they think they're getting paid what they deserve. I tried helping a little with a signature leading to the thread about tax fees, but it was hardly noticed. It all led me to start a PR campaign on social media platforms. It's there, newcomers and veteran members alike, can be informed of the information. Then, they can come to BCT to find the info. At some point, EVERYONE in the Bitcoin community ends up here.   #takeminingback was born.

As with the darkness, there is light, and so I am a Proud member of Kano's Pool. Not only in this thread, but in many others, Kano has been very diligent about the security of Bitcoin, and users within the community. You can look back through, the years of Threads, and see his suggestions and warnings. Some people have been grateful, and some people bitch about their dust ( though they are BIG into mining  Wink). The proof of Kano's success is ever present. Not only as the best pool operator, but also the most dedicated to the users. That in itself, is our Biggest Reward. Someone who can, and will, educate the uninformed.

@MyRig

You may want to consider starting a Thread in the Mining Support section, for all of the returns and replacement info to be found a little easier.  Wink

Mr. Kano do you support ASIC boost?  as far as i have heard, only scam pools do.
Nope, mine hasn't shown up yet.
I'll probably add it soon after that happens.
Tell me how to use asikboost if Kano will allow on the pool?

Kano is currently waiting for a Dragonmint T1 to arrive for testing. He has to adapt, and test, the asicboost coding to run on the pool. If you haven't read, or heard, the "other" pools have had problems lately. Might be from not properly testing the coding. This is, after all, a new technology that is still in its infancy.

That doesn't change that these are more efficient than the S9 so will give you more BTC for every $ you spend on electricity. That's the only thing that should matter.

You realize that the efficiency is so close that your arguement is null and void right?

At 10 cent power you are talking about a $5/month difference in power for similar hashrates and the Dragon costs literally twice as much to purchase new.

It would take the miner running 10 years for things to even out.

You need to look at the big picture and not at one small data point.

This term, "more than" is being used quite a bit about these miners, to justify it's shortcomings. To further the justification, the resident Bitmain Haters, ignore these shortcomings in a spiteful bliss. There's no changing their minds about it. 1 out of the 5 they ACTUALLY received, hashes near or slightly above spec, so it's instantaneously proven, to them, the Dragonmint is supreme. Nevermind the other 4, that have to be tinkered with, just to come close to the 1, with a efficiency loss. These consumers are oblivious, simply for the bragging rights of having this miner. <-------insert face palm here!!!

And now unfortunately comes the removal of hash by people who can't wait.   Sad

Either it was a Bigger set up, or, a whole bunch of one shot wonders, who are like waitresses mining for daily tips--not Rewards.
Either way it's their loss. However, who ever it was will be back, when we're bustin' out multiples, and singing their song of
Regret!!!
