181  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: February 27, 2015, 09:53:49 PM
Would be easier if you showed the tx id. But Id guess one of these sites is guessing wrong in which part is the money being transferred to you, and which part is change going back to the person who did the transaction.

Better explained here: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/736/how-does-change-work-in-a-bitcoin-transaction

Please explain how you think this blackmailing thing works? What leverage do you think any of us have over these (anonymous!) scammers to force them in to paying us all their "mining" revenue?

Just how much do you think they collected before advertising here?

Moreover the date stamps in the "news" section are a complete fabrication. Here is what the site looked like in May 2014:

It´s  not something that anyone with a peabrain like yourself would ever consider within the realm of possibility.

Im not asking anyone to trust me or my judgement. In fact I implore everyone to do their own due diligence,  I just raise awareness by listing criteria and applying them best I can.  If you think there is a problem with either the criteria, or my application of them, by all means, lets hear it.  But providing my identity would change absolutely nothing. Not that Im very anonymous, plenty of people know who I am.

Try sending a registered letter to you beloved bitcoincloudservices, and see what happens.
Ill give you a hint: virtual presence providers accept regular mail, but not registered mail. It will bounce.

But that, and the very likely photoshopped mine, the worst fake video in bitcoin history, the provable link of the operators with previous bitcoin scams and most importantly, the absence of blockchain evidence, for some reason you didnt think that was cause for concern.

I wouldnt be happy if I had AMhash shares right now, but Id give it at least 50x higher odds they will respect their contracts in the long run, than that bcs will.

I went to that website but that doesn´t really give me any guarantees that anything exists apart from the website and whoever put it up. Of course China is the absolutely last place you´d expect any scams to exist  since it´s such a paragon of law and order and totally devoid of corruption so we´re taking way out there outside chances here. But, like the man said, Trust but verify.

They provided a clear address, so it can be verified, and probably has been verified by several Rockminer customers or resellers, Shenzhen isnt exactly the South Pole. Nothing is 100% waterproof, but I cant raise the bar much higher than that when it comes to providing id and address information, Im not personally going to visit HQ's of all mining companies across the world unless you pay my airfares. If the info is not enough for you, feel free to send them a registered letter or hop on a plane and let us all know what you find. While you're at it, do the same for the ones that score 5+ points and see if there is a difference.

Not disclosing the exact location of the mining facility is about the only omission of information I can think of that is completely understandable.  I dont think bitfury disclosed that much either.

If you want to visit the company hq's, go here:

189  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK INVESTMENTS - Site will be down for maintenance until further notice. on: February 27, 2015, 09:21:09 AM
Thank you NotLambchop for your hard work and dedication.

I find this a highly inappropriate time for you to make jokes.

I also struggle to understand or rather: believe,  how a planned website front end update could cause any site, let alone an exchange, to be down for 2 weeks. If you planned an update and found it didnt work, the obvious thing to do would be to roll back to the old site until the new one was ready. This downtime shows a level of incompetence not even shown by  Ukyo or Nefario.

Either that, or you're not telling the full story.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 26, 2015, 09:25:21 PM
KNC 16nm tape-out completed is big Lie.

Sounds like you dont know what tape out means. It basically means they finished the design, and its all in the hands of the fab. You provided no evidence at all they didnt tape out when they said they did.

Further more, what TSMC calls mass production (which is delayed) has precious little to do with bitcoin asics. TSMC do 100's of 1000's of wafer starts per month, perhaps as much as half a million. A few dozen bitcoin wafers is most definitely not mass production to TSMC.

That said, KnC may well be impacted be the delay, I have no clue, but it doesnt hurt to have the facts right.
191  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: February 25, 2015, 05:55:29 PM
They arent paying anyway due to some "freak coincidence" (chinese new year).
Friedcat MIA, AM1 states they will stop paying for a pretty unacceptably lame excuse and Havelock is down for 'maintenance' for about a week now. Imagine how sorry I am I didnt invest in this.

Well, you declared this to be about the only non-scam cloud mining outfit on this planet which I´m sure got them and Havelock many happy customers. You´re probably not sorry about that either.

I stand by every word Ive said. AMhash was and still is one of very few services that provides enough evidence to conclude they are actually mining with actual hardware and is not anonymous enough to evade legal actoin if need be. That hasnt changed. But note that :
1) I explicitly mentioned 'if you buy direct', ie, not through hashie or havelock. Ive never ever condoned havelock.
2) I explicitly warned that being labeled legit in my list implied no guarantees whatsoever, the only thing Ill ever vouch for is that the ones labeled ponzi will steal your money.
3) I also explicitly advised against investing in any cloudmining operation.

I have no idea what if anything is going on with AM/AMHash/HL right now, but I dont think Ive been proven wrong on anything Ive ever said, and everyone that took my advice will have lost not a satoshi. Can you say the same? I didnt think so.

193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: February 25, 2015, 01:26:12 PM
You cant prove a ponzi, but a legitimate operator can disprove it easily.
Not providing any evidence that disproves it, tells you all you need to know.
194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: February 25, 2015, 08:08:06 AM
dont need to write a better one because its speculation . no proof .

No proof of what? Im not trying to prove something is a ponzi, because you cant,  instead im showing for which sites there is or isnt evidence of legitimacy. 'no proof' of legitimacy is the issue and unsurprisingly, precious few sites offer any credible evidence, and equally unsurprisingly, those that do, tend to honor their contracts and those that dont, keep turning out to be scams.

Its "speculation" only in the same way that one "speculates" a Nigerian prince emailing you with promises of fortunes is likely a scam based on the lack of evidence to the contrary. I prefer to call it logic, and so far applying that logic I predicted the collapse of 14 out of 14 recent cloud mining scams. If you think Im wrong on the few that havent collapsed yet, by all means throw away your money betting against me, and on a an anonymous service providing zero credible evidence of legitimacy.

199  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB A ready to fly quadcopter that can take photos on: February 23, 2015, 07:22:29 AM
No offense, but sounds like you're not ready to fly a 'quite large' quadcopter, if you had any experience you'd probably be more specific. Do us all a favor, and start with a light / cheap model until you get the hang of it.

People should stop looking at these multirotors as devices that carry their camera, and start thinking of them as (failure prone) RC crafts to which you can also attach a camera.

because u buy potential 2 weeks of payout together with the shares

Which is different from buying and holding for 2 weeks any other time.. how?

Anyway, looks like amhash holders have forgotten to check network speed.  Network speed is up to 366PH, nearly 50PH more than during last difficulty change. Someone is deploying.
