Not been following this very closely, but is icebreaker an investor in HF, in love with Barber, or what on earth is ahm.. floating his boat in this?
722  Other / Off-topic / Re: Piratebay taken down on: December 10, 2014, 01:14:58 PM
Yup and if you need HD movies use https://yts.re/

Ive used yify a lot, but I dont understand how he manages to stay online, and I fear its some kind of honeytrap. Its almost too good to be true.
723  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 10, 2014, 12:44:35 PM
I believe MrTeal made an initial report to http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/english/index.html
I followed and made my own report, as an invested victim in the scheme.

Would it make sense to publish a reference to that report so that other claimants can refer to it, or maybe make the report or some template for it public so that others can more easily file their own claim? Its not that easy to file a coherent report about a bitcoin mining scam that has to be understandable to a law enforcement agent who may not know the first thing about bitcoin. Considering the post content (and grammar)  of many newbie victims, I think they could use any help you can offer.
724  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 10, 2014, 12:31:03 PM
all else..? leave it to the proper authorities, they have reports.

Can you elaborate what has been reported exactly to whom? I realize pbmining is reading, but I dont think expanding on this will give him much of a headsup.
725  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 1st bidirectional ATM in Belgium on: December 10, 2014, 12:28:32 PM
Whats the reason for the limit and for it being raised? IM guessing there is some legal/KYC/anti money laundering regulation you have to comply with? Does that impose a firm limit on daily/weekly anonymous transactions like this?
726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 10, 2014, 12:23:20 PM
This will be one useful thread if all 22000 customers post that they want a full refund  asap along with their customer number  Roll Eyes
Of course you do, everyone does. News flash: Its not gonna happen, so spend your time discussing what to do about it instead of stating the obvious.
727  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (1GH/S per Unit) on: December 10, 2014, 12:20:10 PM
Average daily dividend payout for last 30 days was BTC0.00000135 while it should have been about BTC0.0000022758.
This results in difference about 1 BTC/day per farm (1150 THs).And this was calculated at todays 340 BTC/USD, lower than was rate for whole month.
Seems that Cryptx can't help himself and takes 1 BTC daily as management fee...

Other cloud mining farms like amhash, hashnest or even GAWminers pay exact amount as calculations suggest.

Care to share the math?
And have you been using theoretical yield, or what ghash.io actually paid out (https://blockchain.info/address/1PETAmNrgdzx3FwzJPNuhx18JVKdGtwWt6) or based on the number of blocks the pool found? I kinda doubt cex.io luck would be that bad over the course of an entire month to explain your numbers, but assuming your math is solid, it would be good to see who, if anyone, is skimming.
728  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: December 10, 2014, 10:04:54 AM
its easy to say "i told you" when somethings going wrong but if not ?
what you think why humans are here as they are ? they try... they make mistakes, and of course they learn... (sometimes) but without any tryouts you canīt get a result ...

translation: "idiots like me will keep sending money to obvious ponzi's until I run out of money. Then I will learn from my mistakes. And try again.".
729  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 10, 2014, 10:00:41 AM
I think Karpeles had it worse at Gox, people got on planes on flew to Japan to confront him.

Yeah, they even held up signs "where is my money", Im sure that must have caused Mark sleepless nights.

maybe he was harassed or blackmailed.

How does one blackmail an honest business? Why would an honest business cave in to blackmail instead of just reporting it to the authorities ?
He's making excuses and trying to win time, no different than all the exposed/doxxed ponzi scammers before him. Sure, he'll be emotionally stressed right now, for having to face up to his own web of lies and probably having to explain at least something to his family, partner etc. But there is only one person to blame for that, and its not an imaginary lynch mob.
730  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: December 10, 2014, 09:52:21 AM
Shouldn't we all be super stoked right now?

Certainly its better news than 'the chip doesnt work', but these are a few samples on a shared multiproject wafer. The idea is to be able to tweak the design before producing a full mask set. That means that mask set isnt done yet, and it will probably be 3+ months before production chips arrive if they were ordered today.

At least bitfury and spondoolies promised 0.2J/GH at the wall late this year or early next year (and twice that efficiency next year). Assuming they, or bitmain or anyone else, can achieve that, AM will be a fews months behind and with worse efficiency (*). Hardly a better competitive situation than BE200 was in, and that wasnt exactly a commercial slam dunk.

Its a shame friedcat didnt trust his design enough to go for full mask sets directly, that would have been something to be "super stoked" about. Now, its mostly a matter of hoping the competition doesnt meet its goals.

(*) numbers are still being updated and probably relate to few, possibly just 1 chip, so they may still change.

732  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 10, 2014, 06:36:05 AM
what I think you should do for me is give trusted feedback for me honoring this bet.

Thought about it, I was about to give you positive trust, then I saw you gave positive trust to this obvious scam and instantly changed my mind.
Im not going to indirectly lend trust to what we all know is a blatant scam and I dont want to empower people that do.
733  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO NOT BUY OR SELL PBMINING ACCOUNTS on: December 09, 2014, 11:10:19 PM
More drama and more doom preaching. Come back with this thread once they stop paying people.

Now a good time?

bet  (bt)
n.
1. An agreement usually between two parties that the one who has made an incorrect prediction about an uncertain outcome will forfeit something stipulated to the other; a wager.

We had no agreement. I did not agree to your terms, you did not agree to mine. Period. (I might even claim the outcome was not uncertain :p)
And this is off topic now, unless you want to bet on CloudMining.website
736  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 09, 2014, 10:46:05 PM
You don't need to be rude about it,

Am I being rude? I thought I was being quite the gentleman about it Smiley

you didn't ask for my opinion as to a fail or not before you challenge my sacred girl scouts honor.

I have no idea what that means.

lets all keep our guns in our holsters. However Puppet   what I think you should do for me is give trusted feedback for me honoring this bet. I have a feeling that's not a common thing to do.  Even though i always felt bad you would not just trust me on my word. Thats bitcoin a trustless situation.  However you can see you were right, I think we got fail conditions in one week. Therfore. I'm commited to honor the error of my judgement.
Anya Yakubu

Im not on the default trust list, so I cant give you what you ask. Even if I could, appreciating the offer isnt the same as saying that I trust you now.
I most certainly do not trust your judgement.

Ill think about it.

(btw, its not that uncommon among people with a history/reputation to honor non escrowed bets for small amounts. As matter of fact, I had one just last week about difficulty increasing. I happened to lose that bet, so I paid roadstress. I have no doubts he would have paid me had he lost. But then he doesnt promote ponzi's.)
737  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 09, 2014, 10:31:34 PM
if i had bet with you

Then its good for you that we did not. I didnt accept your conditions, so Im not going to take your bitcoin, although I do appreciate the gesture.
738  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 09, 2014, 10:27:44 PM
It was not a warmhearted thank you, but I have to acknowledge that
Jason must have had some hard days. I really believe he's not a profi
criminal but a youngster who had a very stupid idea and missed the opportunity
to stop it at an early point. While I want my money back, I don't wish him
bad things like others here. I hope he learned his lesson for life.

He's not that young. He must be well over 30. And for some perspective, Pirate is facing up to 40 years of jail time and $40M in fine so far for his bitcoin ponzi.
I may find that exaggerated, but Jason just paying back whatever he wants to pay back, without even coming clean about what he did,  that aint nearly enough for him to learn his  lesson.
739  Economy / Digital goods / Re: PBmining contract, 525 GHS on: December 09, 2014, 10:22:33 PM
Doesnt matter anymore. In case you missed it, pbmining just went *poof*

Imagine my surprise!
740  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 09, 2014, 10:18:55 PM
LoLz... first point me the post where u accepted Anya's bet and escrow the sum ? Smiley

Wasnt I supposed to trust Anja on her scouts honor or whatever the fuck she called it?
Seriously dude, you read the thread, you know I didnt accept anja's conditions. yet Id probably have won even on her idiotic conditions anyhow.

Im offering you a straightforward bet that cloudmining.website or any other ponzi you wish to bet on, will not continue to honor its contract beyond july, and I will offer you odds that ensure that if I lose, you will make a LOT more than by investing in it. But I know you wont accept the bet regardless, am I wrong? No Im not, because you know its a ponzi just as well as I do.

Likewise, im offering to bet that any site I labeled as "legitimate" will continue honoring its contract. But you wont take that bet either because you know amhash, KNC, hashnet and ghash are not going to run off like the ponzi's you push.
