hashie.co?
They have partnered with AMHash (asicminer) and rockminer to make the amhash possible with their platform.
there are also photos of amhash's mining facility.

Where are those photo's? IM pretty sure you got duped by seeing pictures of AMhash. AMhash is a real mining operation and for reasons Ill never understand, they allowed hashie to resell their product, but for hashie "gen 1" Ive not seen one single shred of evidence.

982  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 27, 2014, 09:33:46 PM
why trust an exchange like Havelock

The issue I have is not so much with havelock as it is with hashie.co, which currently is the only way amhash is selling anything.

Moreover, fact is many people do not trust you, and do not believe at all you are operating within the law in mostly any country outside panama. There is a reason most AM shareholders have not moved their shares to your platform, those same people Im quite sure would prefer to deal with AMhash directly if given the choice. Currently their choice is between a platform they dont trust and a ponzi no one should trust.
983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloudmining 101 on: November 27, 2014, 09:25:28 PM
If they rent and sub-rent real hash power, this is not a ponzi any more.

Semantics. The issue is of course that the scammer will only rent it for x weeks or months for as long as sales roll in, while they sell their contracts as 1 year, 5 years, or 'eternal'.
984  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloudmining 101 on: November 27, 2014, 09:01:34 PM
I don't think that pictures of hardware is a good proof that you actually own this hardware.

Its say none of the criteria I listed by themselves are good proof. And all of them combined offer no more than a basis for a reasonable assumption.
But the fact a mining operation cant even be bothered to snap some pictures certainly is telling.

Quote
This have to be done technical way. If you own a mining hardware, you have to able to switch it on or off or switch between pools at specified time. You have to able to arrange a date and time on this forum, and switch all your mining power to some test pool at this time. And we all have to be able to see the change in performance of this pool. After your hash rate is documented, you may switch back to any pool you wish.

This is covered in the first criterium. But that alone isnt enough proof either. Its entirely possible for a ponzi to rent hashrate at nicehash, redirect it wherever you want it to, until the day their sales dry up and they run off with the money.

Potato shell? Never too old to learn Smiley

Ill stop by my pipe and cigar shop this weekend and see what he has. Perhaps I can make some pictures.
986  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 07:43:41 PM
Thank you for being so generous with your 6/7 score. Miners will be available for sale soon and videos and all other relevant information will be posted online so you can rethink what score to give us. I'm not allowed to discuss anything more about our hardware or it's exact location at this point.

Ah yes, it will all come soon™, and you cant discuss or disclose anything else.
But you're different from the others - who all say the same thing Smiley.

I better not hold my breath waiting for convincing proof Smiley
987  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 07:40:21 PM
Would be great to see this site climb up in that list.

Ha, its the kind of list you want to climb down on. At the top with highest scores are the ponzi's including those that already collapsed,  at the bottom are the legitimate offerings.
988  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB pipe tobacco on: November 27, 2014, 07:37:36 PM
So you would want it shipped without the original wrapping? Just stuff it in something? How would I avoid it drying out?
989  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 07:35:22 PM
As requested, Ive added you to my cloudmining 101 thread.
Based on what Ive seen, Ive scored you 6/7 on my ponzi scale, half points each for pictures and exit strategy.

If you can provide additional evidence, do contact me and Ill review my score if appropriate.
990  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB pipe tobacco on: November 27, 2014, 07:24:07 PM
Pretty big difference. What brand do you usually smoke?
991  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 07:20:34 PM
If you ask me they did provide some kind of proof while all others gave none.

They showed pictures of something. Can you tell what miners those are?

No public mining address, no selectable pool - check
No endorsement from any asic vendor - check
No relevant pictures of their hardware and datacenter - Ill grant that point if they open up one of their miners and video it
Open ended IPO - check
Referral programs and social networking - check and check
Anonymous operators - check
No exit strategy - half point there, I fail to see why anyone would have to wait 61 days.

So, if Im generous, its 6/7, puts them on the same footing as bitcoincloudservices with their alleged photoshopped datacenter and hashie's "gen 1". I consider both extremely likely ponzi's.
992  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 27, 2014, 07:09:56 PM
It doesnt have to be fancy, it doesnt initially even need a trading platform. Just buy a contract, how hard can that be?  These ponzi's can do it in a few hours judging by the speed at which they appear, and the backoffice part they already have.

Id do it just like AM direct shares, that if you want, you can import in to havelock if you want to trade them there.
993  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 07:01:43 PM
First you should check our site, how everything works and our miners photos in datacenter. Then you decide what you want to do. We are not just another service selling GHS from non existing equipment like "competition". Our miners are online for about 2.5 months already.

I hate that people judge us like everyone else without even spending few minutes of their time to take a look at why we are different then other (probably ponzi) sites.

No, its your job to prove the above, not mine. If you dont provide the proof, the conclusion is obvious.
And yes, I saw the photo's. They dont look like any miner Ive ever seen, and I cant based on that determine you actually have the hashrate you are selling

As for being online for 2.5 months, show us the proof. Pool statistics or mining address, etc.

You say you're not like all the others, but you are doing exactly the same thing and providing exactly the same non proofs. How do you suppose anyone would assume you are different?
994  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: November 27, 2014, 06:51:56 PM
Another day, another cloud mining ponzi.

Before I add you to it,  is there any reason I wouldnt give you 7/7 on my ponzi assessment list:

995  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 27, 2014, 06:40:25 PM
well, they use it for mixing victims funds back to victims don't they?

They use a mixer. I wouldnt conclude from that they are too familiar with the blockchain Smiley
996  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 27, 2014, 06:38:29 PM
We are going to improve the promotion ways of AMHash, any suggestions?

If I can make one suggestion, it would be to sell the hashrate directly.

AM is one of the few companies in this business that people still trust (well, at least those that didnt buy a prisma). Yet you force potential customers to either use a pretty shady and most likely illegal exchange (havelock) or buy it through what most sane people consider a ponzi scam operation (hashie).

I know you promised to back the contracts regardless, but just being associated with them taints your image and gives credibility to a competing scam operation. I utterly fail to understand the logic behind that.

Just do it yourself.
997  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: November 27, 2014, 06:34:15 PM
it will take some weeks to clear it out.
you are wrong, because we have a:
b.l.o.c.k.c.h.a.i.n.

Cloudmining ponzi's wouldnt know that, would they?
998  Economy / Goods / Re: Custom Pipes! design your own Tobacco pipe! High Quality! Hand made!! on: November 27, 2014, 06:29:46 PM
well, i love tobacco that's why i make old school pipes Wink

I used to love it too. I smoked constantly. But I couldnt believe how quickly I switched over to vaping. The same day I bought my epipe, was the last day Ive lit a regular pipe. I totally wasnt expecting that, I didnt even have an intention to quit; It just tastes better (with the right eliquid), it smells better (fresh and while smoking pipe tobacco smells great, but the next morning, not so much), you dont have all the hassle and dirt and last but not least, it dramatically improved my breathing and general health.

Quote
hmm, i could make that, it looks like all it really needs is a nice Bowel, i could totally make something like that if i can get my hands on the Custom made Stem and Liquid + battery.,

IMR 13850 is the standard battery used in those things. Bigger is better, but probably wont fit in a pipe form. You have to make sure its easy to swap, because it will be swapped daily or more often (external charger).

As for the "stem" (called a driptip in ecig jargon) and clearomizer (which holds the liquid and heating element), they both have standard connectors and you can easily find pipe style driptips that will fit on any standard clearomizer. Or you could make your own Im sure, just make it compatible with a "510".

Quote
i could probably also fix a nice LCD display on top so every time you smoke it lights up, (like the E-cigg got these days, only bigger)

You need a convenient fire button. Most designs put it on top, so you operate it with your thumb, and it does double duty as a screw-on lid so you can replace the battery.  You also need to fit the voltage regulator if you plan on a variable voltage version, and I would encourage you to try that, because to my knowledge, it hasnt been done yet. "Easy" way is using something like smoktech kick:

I dont think that will let you drive an LCD though. If you make a nice dial to change the wattage, thats good enough IMO.
999  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloudmining 101 on: November 27, 2014, 04:38:10 PM
here's my picture of a perfect cloud mining contract:

The purchasing (hire-purchase perhaps?) of full hashboards, instead of piddly little GH/s.

Not only do I not see the point, I think its a bad idea. What happens if "your" board happens to underperform. What if it fails?
How would you know if its your board that is causing problems, or the cloudminer that just makes it appear so?

There is no problem selling hashrate by the GH that I can see. Let the vendor work out the capacity / RMA / whatever problems.

Quote
Flexibility to change pools remotely, at the click of a button.

Agreed. Should be sine qua non really.

Quote
live-feed webcams watching over a warehouse of immersion cooled hashboards

Why bother with the cost of immersion cooling, when you can have "open wall" ambient cooling in cold places, KnC style?
Also webcams seem fairly pointless.

Quote
trading platform with other cloud users, to control pricing and p2p trading of your purchased hashboards.

Agreed

Quote
Fees paid pro-rata by the user, not taken from mined rewards - if fees don't get paid, hashboards power down.

I dont get this either. Just needlessly complicates administration.

Quote
and most importantly - majority of the mining profit to the end user.

Keep dreaming. First you assume there to be profit, which is (very) far from certain. Secondly, no company is going to operate without profit margin. Since you are buying from a cloudmining company that needs a margin, and the cloudmining company is usually buying from the asic vendor who needs a margin, you are automatically at a disadvantage compared to both. If there is a very high chance of profitability for you, then there is an even higher chance for them, and you'll have to explain why they wouldnt exploit that.

1000  Economy / Goods / Re: Custom Pipes! design your own Tobacco pipe! High Quality! Hand made!! on: November 27, 2014, 04:18:55 PM
Get with the times; start making some electronic pipes. I imagine its not difficult, the bowl just holds a standard battery (and button), and you tap in a standard connector  (called "ego" or "510") so you can screw on any clearomizer you want. Here is an example of a great looking wooden epipe:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYQTl7a3OLk

What Ive not found yet, and which Im sure there is a market for (I want one!) is a variable voltage/wattage epipe. Dont worry about the electronics, you can buy that off the shelve, you just need to fit some buttons and ideally, a tiny LCD in to your design.
