181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy back every thing on: November 17, 2018, 07:29:59 PM
The market is going down, so yeah, I feel its a nice time to buy few coins, but very choosy and specific on what you want and what is your target. As BTC will climb up, I believe we will notice some bullish movement upon the Altcoins as well, though might not be upon all of them. With the recent scenario of the world and market, I am very skeptical about the altcoins, even on few of them which thrived in the recent past.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can reach 12000$ value BTC and 800$ value Eth end of year ? on: November 17, 2018, 03:04:43 PM
I saw since last week all cryptocurrency market big dumping with major currencies. So i want to know end of this year will cam reach btc 12000$ and 800$ values with new cycle.

If in the next two weeks Bitcoin does not show growth, then this year we will not see such prices. Then we will hope that the crypto market will show a U-turn in 2019. We will wait for the ETF decision. But if we look at the trading volume this week, we will see that the whales bought tens of thousands of bitcoins after it dropped below 6000.

Even if Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies make a move in a couple days or weeks later, it will not reach that high because people will use it as an opportunity to short it. right now we heard a bad news from Forbes and wars that happened with Bitcoin Cash community.
everything is turned very ugly now, before we are making any movement. first we need to solve the problem that happened with Bitcoin Cash and their wars, afterward we need another news to tank the price up and to re-gain people faith on cryptocurrency.

conclusion, we won't see it this year.

Bitcoin is very shaky at the moment, so reaching that high is quite impossible and as you stated people will target short opportunities, and thus it will make it more difficult to reach even $10k. Recently people sell off whenever it rises above 7-10% at once, and with $12k as a target, we will see a good amount of sell-off, so I don't feel it a possibility too as many others here.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 16, 2018, 07:55:01 PM
I have seen this topic several times, I don't know if this is just a FUD or what. But as long as there is buyer and seller which are continuously believed in bitcoin for sure it won't go to the situation that it will gonna die(Bitcoin). Though, the price value so far is really not good at all, but it doesn't mean it will drop into zero value, of course not.

Maybe this action will trigger the price rise, Bitcoiners will love to believe it as a FUD. Bitcoin still being one of the primary coin, usually it is the only primary coin I feel, the price dropping to zero and the coin dying is probably not possible. We, the people created Bitcoin and brought it where it is standing, and if it dies, that will also be done by us.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine plans to impose a tax on the operations with cryptocurrency on: November 13, 2018, 05:38:57 PM
Well, i think that it is a good thing that Ukraine actually imposed taxes on crypto currency. For one thing it is not a ban but an acceptance to Crypto currency. This also means that holders are now subject to the government's protection and any fraud would be dealt with the full force of the law. I juat hope it is how i said it is.

Imposing tax or regulating is much better than restricting and then planning to completely ban crypto trading as well in a country which our country is planning to do as recently being heard. This will increase people to use it if the tax is lower, now if the restriction on tnx and tax is way too higher, then it's similar to banning it.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 11, 2018, 04:55:57 PM
Manchester City is on full attacking mode from the beginning itself. With lack of few players, this had to happen I believe. Probably Manchester City is going to snatch the win, but the question is what can be the GD. I think it can be 2-0, chances of United scoring is quite less if City is considered. And for now the scoreline is already 1-0.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2018, 01:17:11 PM
We won't be rich by tomorrow with bitcoin, it really takes time to achieve such thing. Bitcoin investment seems to be hard for now and aren't giving much profit than of last year. Even though the price of bitcoin seems to be not moving high but you can still depend on it. You need to work for it and patiently waiting for the perfect time.

Literally, nothing can make any of us rich within a matter of few days or in a short period of time. Now the investment outcome is becoming practical, what we saw in the last year was dangerous and kind off against the growth, as many people left after they made losses during the fall after the great rise in 2017. But I think still it has potential and if the target is long-term, things can go better. But please it is better to not expect any kind of speculative uprise as happened earlier, it just creates the problem for the growth and adaptability.
187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: November 11, 2018, 12:49:07 PM
Trading is a story not about luck, it is a story about hard work. if you rely on luck, then you play the lottery

Trading, especially short-term ones, like day-to-day does depend on luck. And even for the long-term, as the market is still not in a good position, squaring off at the desired time with the desired value is often not possible. So, one has to rely on luck at some point in time even after your hard work. In the stock market, this is still applicable what you said, but as for now, I don't think it a possibility in the crypto market.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 10, 2018, 07:39:12 PM
I think that we can not just,we have to go through these difficult times. They happen in any business. The main thing is not to give up and to continue to go to his Culi.Next year everything will be stabilized.

Every market, like stock, commodity and crypto have to go through this kind of difficulties and crypto industry which has a restriction from a few governments has to face these difficulties. Soon this is going to be solved I believe, don't know if its next year or not. Within a few years things are going to be clear and the market is going to see some stability with a positive approach.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will rise more? on: November 10, 2018, 05:41:52 PM
Litecoin is a coin I use for transacting other than BTC and few more. Litecoin has a huge circulation of coins, thus the price doesn't move too high to suffer higher tnx fees. And thus no extra feature I can recognize to see it making its own place in the market without the help of other crypto or mainly BTC. So unless BTC jumps up, probably we cannot expect it, for now, to rise to a good value.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: November 05, 2018, 07:46:25 PM
Most of the people even the newbies invest in the various form of investment options even outside this market. People who seek quick money only with no long-term view of their investment might be investing here only. I have been into stocks along with crypto. Now I am thinking to indulge myself to bonds and other modes of investment if possible.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 04, 2018, 05:57:27 PM
Southampton are unlucky to be facing Manchester City in their next upcoming match, as Manchester City could have the chance to overtake Liverpool and become the leader on the English Premier League table again if they manage to beat Southampton. I believe with the Manchester City fans cheering hard for their team at the Etihad Stadium, this should be another easy victory for Manchester City.

Manchester City have a big chance of taking over the league leaders, especially what they face is Southampton who still haven't found their best performance yet. Over 2.5 could be the good market to be picked in this match.

Manchester City just thrashed Southampton with scoreline 6-1. And also topped the League as of now with 29 pts, but I can say we will get to see some changes in the table for sure and the league topper will continue to change till the end.
11 November is a crucial day, Manchester Derby, so it will decide whether Manchester City is going to stay at the top for a couple of more few Matchdays.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 04, 2018, 04:49:20 PM
OZ vs SA first ODI match is going . OZ got all out batting first at score of 152 runs and SA are already 94/1 in 17 overs. So it will be easy win for SA. But OZ will need to rethink how they will proceed from the next match because this was the worst performance for them.
The match between India vs West Indies 1st T20 looking very interesting now because Indian team loss 4 wikts for 57 in 11 overs I think if they loss two wikts then Indian will in trouble let's see what will going to happen.

Still, quite an easy target to chase, and now only 9 of 17 balls. A win is easy to take away by the Indian team. Though their Capt. Kohli isn't playing, I think they even don't need him in the match against WI. As a match-saving player, one can always keep faith upon Dinesh Karthik, after Dhoni being removed, D.Karthik is the most probable choice by the team management.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 in two years? Bitcoin statistics and predictions on: November 03, 2018, 05:24:21 PM
By 2020, I don't feel it be there. Bitcoin can be or will be speculated in the upcoming year to some high point, but within 2 years $100k is kind of a moment whose probability is very low. Though I cannot say it is completely impossible because we all are the witness of some crazy run in late 2017 and incoming newbies and speculators can turn it up to $100k.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin is a security, a currency or a commodity? on: November 03, 2018, 11:43:23 AM
I like to think it as an instrument for financial transaction across the border, quite easily, fast and with fewer fees. You can term it as a commodity as well, but as there is no physical form of it like Gold, the demand for it remains dependent on the use of the coin/currency.
If the usage as currency comes to a stop, I believe there will be a great fall in value. Holding it also increases price somehow, but as it's a currency, holding along with usage will and does makes a positive effect.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Considering Cryptocurrency Ban on: November 01, 2018, 04:46:28 PM
Oh great India is the new China, it's banned and unbanned on the weekly. When will these countries quit fooling around?

India after restricting the Banks is now planning to completely make the usage or even crypto-crypto trading to a halt in India. But the irony is they are planning to make their own crypto equivalent to INR. About China recently I read somewhere they are planning to make it legal and regulate it and probably imposing taxes. I guess they will need more time to stop fooling around or after losing some good opportunity related to this.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guess when the next bull market will start! on: November 01, 2018, 02:33:19 PM
The next bull market is going to happen when we start 2019 . I believe by January onwards the market will be in favor of those who have waited for long and is going to increase to level that it will be as it was when bitcoin was all time high.
Well in last year, Christmas has got the pledge to hold the biggest hikes of bitcoin ever made in history of its existence. We have seen so numerous small jumps of bitcoin but from some seven thousand dollars to twenty one thousand dollars in time span of one week, this is seriously amazing. So pack up your bags and try to be ready at Christmas this year again. Something big is coming.
Don't deceive yourself, this is not going to be the same thing with what you saw last year or rather you should not be using last year to judge what would possibly be happening this year at all.

First and foremost, last year was more of a bullish year, as we had the year start with an uptrend and that was pretty much understandable to see that over the year, we had series of new ATH being imprinted until the eventual thing happened with the bull run. However, we have been in a bear year, and do not get me wrong, we may get to see an uptrend if possible at least to some little extent, but you should not be expecting something out of the moon this year.

I agree with that, as I see many people are comparing what happened in the last year and what can happen in this year. This is a totally baseless claim by the people who are claiming this year as well it will touch a new high as it touched in the previous year. But realizing this is growing, I can say this will help another abrupt rise very soon along with the crash after this.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: October 31, 2018, 12:44:06 PM
As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.
Maybe in 2019 also the correction period will get extend until first of second quarter because the prices were still low when compared to all time high and there is no sign of prices were increases in the near future as well so as long as we are holding our coins will be helpful for the prices to recover faster.

Yup, it will continue in 2019 as well because I think we will see another erratic movement in the market at the end of 2018. Still, now it is stable hovering around $6000, but the possibility is still there to see some uprise and not a healthy one obviously. So, correction may follow up in the next year as well if we see the erratic behavior in the market this year end.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor Internet Services Could Cause Hamper Crypto Adoption in Africa on: October 30, 2018, 06:13:01 PM
Africa isn't "a large segment of the world economy",actually it's a relatively small part.I remember that the African GDP was more than 1 trillion USD,which is very little, for a continent populated with 1 billion people.
I think that Africa needs industrialisation first and then crypto adoption. Most of the african countries have 80% uneducated population of peasants, who can do only agricultural work.

This is the correct view in my opinion, the GDP per capita of the African continent is incredibly low, it is 3.5 times lower than the next place which is the Asian continent, so before that a revolution is needed in order for the continent as a whole to become more productive but this is going to be almost impossible with the huge level of corruption from their governments.

They can be quite productive, but the corruption as you said is huge and it is a mess over there. I guess there are goons which are doing their work along with the help of the political power. There are various products whose raw material is obtained from Africa, but still, they are unable to grow.
Crypto adoption will take a long time, I mean to say large-scale adoption. I am not sure, but I guess not even half of their population uses the internet or even qualified to use the internet or an electronic device. Education is another drawback in their country.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet... on: October 30, 2018, 09:19:25 AM
Growth for alts might be a slow process, but it will happen definitely very soon. Now it is dragged up or down along with the movement of BTC, but soon there will be many altcoins which will be moving freely and will have some real growth. Not all but quite a few of them for me is quite happening and promising, won't name them because it will still be a speculation.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: October 29, 2018, 06:44:05 PM
After the devastating match for Real Madrid, Lopetegui is going to be sacked. This had to happen, the loss just helped them finalize the administration decision. Still, there is loads of time to make the league table look good for them. Barcelona even being without Messi, played like a king of this season, Suarez might have earned some fans after tomorrow.
