in my opinion punishment for rapist is deathpenalty so it reduce people commit the crime
That's not how the death penalty works. If anything, threatening with a death penalty will just cause rapists to kill their rape victims to make sure that they are never caught. And then there's this class of militant feminists that would abuse the hell out of such a law.

Probably why they're trying to switch over to renewables. At least they understand their problem when it comes to Economics, even if they don't seem to care about their cultural issues.

Does anyone use Monaco card for its designed purpose? I would like to understand feedbacks of practical uses of Monaco card . How much is the real fees? and where is card accepting in reality.

The card is still not released at the moment so nobody can give you feedback. But it shouldn't take much time till release, it seems to be a matter of days or weeks.

or months or years Wink

Let's don't be so pessimistic. March is less than 2 weeks away, can't wait to get my card!

If that really happens I will be also very happy! Monaco team just dont have the reputation of promise keepers and dead line fulfillers Cheesy
March does not apply for europe right?
I believe it does. If I recall correctly Asia and Europe were rolling out together in Q1 (before the Money 20/20 event).
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][ICO] Coinlancer.io CL - Freelancers Of The World Unite - ICO| 14th OCT🌟 on: February 16, 2018, 01:41:50 PM
A large drop in the token is not only Cl. Now many crypto-currencies have collapsed. I think that as soon as the situation with the crypto-currencies is adjusted, Cl will significantly increase. I believe in this project

That's right, all the Alt has gone downhill very bad nowadays, I think it will have an impact but somehow the price will always decrease.

Well I started doubting on the future price of the token. The resistance to burn the unsold tokens and a tiny airdrop all points to a greedy pan. Also I don't see any progress on the platform development. Hopefully I am proved wrong.

Hopefully what you expect is true, the price every year is getting down because of the impact of Bitcoin in the feel of all the Alt. Hopefully this does not make a big mess in the future.
You're right, but the drop prices several times this is not normal, it negatively affects the project
Again, there is no project here. It's been a scam all along. If you don't want to lose everything take the loss and exit while you can.

Yep, just sold as of 2 minutes ago, and at a bad loss, i'm out.  If not a scam (and believe me i don't like to call scam that often, only on Lending platforms), it's a poorly handled project with a lack of social media action and lacking direction. Perhaps just a bad time to release on the market with the recent crash, but new exchanges wont help the cause, as it's already on 3 reasonable exchanges already.  Good luck, and all the best people.
There were very obvious red flags about this project that made it a 99% chance of scam and 1% chance of completely incompetent kids riding the crypto hype. I don't want to give out the exact details at this point since this project evaporated anyways and I don't want to give hints to future scammers on how to refine their tactics.

Sorry for your loss.
In the future I'd recommend reading the Whitepaper carefully and looking for how many problems and solutions it addresses rather than spamming buzzwords with no content. Learn to do this now and you'll be happy with your performance in the future.

The number of profitable ICOs will decrease as the months and years go by since the market will mature. The only question that should be of relevance to any serious investor is whether or not they can mature faster than the rest of the market.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █【ANN】【ICO】█【ICO LIVE】 ██ 🌟 BLOCKLANCER ██ JOIN GIG ECONOMY BOOM on: February 16, 2018, 11:48:26 AM
Hello! I'm trying to find a previous post about this but couldn't.  I'd like to clarify about the coin symbol being used by Blocklancer, which is LNC.  However, I can also find in online another ICO, Linker Coin, that's using the same symbol, LNC.  Would this not cause any problem in the future?

It's basically a dead coin with that symbol. When the traffic starts, we will very fastly get the number 1 LNC position.

Thank you for the clarification.  I'm puzzled, however, since Linker Coin is an incoming ICO so it couldn't be dead already.  The good thing though is that in Cryptocompare website, they acknowledge BlockLancer as having the code, LNC.

Another thing, I am monitoring my portfolio using Cryptocompare.com and in there one can see New, Upcoming, and Ongoing ICO's, one of which is Blocklancer.  I am even more puzzled to find out that when I listed my Blcoklancer tokens as future holdings, Cryptocompare already recognized it as LNC and gave it an ICO price of around .37 per token. This gives me a really good feeling everytime I look at it even though I believe this isn't yet the real price per token of Blocklancer.

There's the reason for my puzzlement;  this price of 0.37 usd per token is actually for Linkercoin that have the same code LNC. This is the reason why I am feel it really important that we clear this up and ensure that LNC is indeed exclusive for Blocklancer before it gets listed in any exchange.

to show the snapshot of how the other token code is displayed, here's the link:

As I'm saying, we just need to make sure no confusion of this nature happens in the future where two different tokens share the same code (LNC)

Hello 17BigCat,

Once the LNC starts trading it won't take much time until we become the number 1 LNC. So when we become in that position there won't be more confusions for investors.

Hello again! Greetings and more power to Blocklancer!
In the spirit of vigilance and clarity, I am again reiterating the confusion that is being caused by the Altcoin symbol " LNC " that surely cannot simply be ignored because the logo itself of Blocklancer is being displayed while the information and the "sort of" current altcoin price is already shown as

Market    Price    Open 24H    Range 24H    Last trade    Volume 24H    Change 24H

LNC 0
Ξ 0
Ξ 0.0 0.00%

, via this link in Cryptocompare:   https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/lnc/markets/ETH

It is apparent that the LNC described here refers to Linkercoin, a similar altcoin that may already have been shelved.  Would it still be possible to change Blocklancer's code to a different one other than LNC, or would we just keep it as is?
From what I've gathered, Lancer would replace Linker as soon as volume picks up on ED. In either case, it shouldn't be a problem because Linker is dead. Their website is stuck on "1st KYC: 12/29 ~ 1/21 (In Progress)", which should've been completed around a month ago. So on any exchange that does manual listings Lancer will be getting the LNC ticker, and on ED it will get LNC instead of LNC1 once volume gets higher than that of Linker (which shouldn't take long).
1807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 16, 2018, 12:31:18 AM
I realized something. Bitcoin is free from state control, right? The price is determined organically according to supply and demand, yes? And what happens after a sudden and rapid rise in price? After the boom comes the bust. Down to less than half of the previous high, and only now slowly climbing back up.

Many organic cycles in nature mirrors this, most obviously animal populations. And when you look at the human population over the past handful of hundreds of years, what do you see? Exponential rise, a rocket taking off. But the food supply is limited, and we will eventually hit a hard cap. We will top off at 9-11 billion people. And once we reach the top, what will happen? We will have some percentage drop.

I thought until recently that millions of people, perhaps hundreds of million, were going to die. But no. Billions of people are going to die. And there is a possibility that it will happen within our lifetimes.

I'm going to fucking bed. Hopefully I will have some less horrible nightmares than this.
We technically have enough food for the entire planet, it just doesn't get to certain places. And in my opinion it shouldn't (for free). If we see hundreds of millions of people dying in our lifetime it will most likely be in places like Africa, since they're still playing tribal games in their most primitive form instead of focusing on progress. Don't really see billions vanishing though.

EIP 867 is doing its best to destroy ETH right now (protocol for making state changes such as recovery of the Parity funds).
I have this eerie feeling that such measures will not lead to the fall of the likes of XRP and ETH. People don't seem to care, or be too ignorant to understand the implications.
1809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2018, 10:54:34 PM
At what price will FOMO kick in?
Somewhere close to the last ATH I'd assume, by MSM starting another hype cycle once steam has run for natural climbs.

I agree that FOMO is not likely to kick in anytime before we start to get close to current ATH.... so perhaps in the $18-19k price territory, and maybe not even until it becomes fairly clearly going to break above the ATH... which is a certain 5-10% striking distance of such...   Until then, we are going to need to deal with a decent amount of ongoing resistance all the way up towards returning to ATH territories...

Hey BTCMILLIONAIRE... I don't want to pry too much into your particulars, but did you come up with your user name based on factual circumstances or an aspiration?  I see that your registration to the forum was during a period in late 2014 in which faith was becoming increasingly lost in BTC, so there was quite a bit less balling going on at that point.. even though loss of faith shook out more folks in the next 12 months or so into the lows of 2015.

I did just look at your first posts, and it appears that you were aspiring to obtain 1 BTC... so millionnaire could have been measured in terms of Satoshis too... Do you want to overview your BTC journey, without necessarily providing too many personal details?  I have shared mine about a zillion times, but I still like to hear about other folks, especially when they seem to share bullish yet seemingly realistic BTC views.
I've been on and off this forum for quite a bit longer than that, but never really stepped into it because it was too fringe for my situation.

A lot has changed though, and I've ended up going balls deep with my student loan and scholarship when it was bottoming out, since I've figured I'd have plenty of time to cover my losses anyways and knew that I could easily score a 6 figure job after graduation thanks to busting my ass at university.

Let's just say that the aspiration has changed to a B rather than an M as denominated in USD. I'm not quite sure if a million Bitcoins will be doable since I expect those to be worth hundreds of billions to just over a trillion at some point, and I'm not sure how much I'll care about collecting money just for the sake of collecting it. I'd need to thoroughly enjoy running ventures of my own as well as investing in the type of research that nobody wants to throw money at because of a lack of predictable profits (the kind of shit that Musk does for example, I fucking love insane people - the good kind of insane).

But for now I'm trying to make sure that I won't have to take up a dayjob at any point in my life while simultaneously not having to worry about my spending habbits (which are still extremely frugal beyond the occasional splurge on a good Scotch or food).

It might be worth noting that I've been checking out equity markets since my high school days because I just couldn't see myself working into my 60s. I've also used to do statistical analysis in MMORPG markets before I even knew what statistics were (using pen&paper and excel) and tried to estimate other aspects of the game quantitatively to increase my own performace. So I guess I've been pretty much predisposed to end up in Bitcoin at one point or another anyways.

It may be interesting if each nuclear nation had back its arsenal with their entire GDP or their sovereignty.
Nice in theory, not happening in practice. Who would they forfeit their rights anyways? That sounds like it would create a whole lot of other problems.
1813  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Legalization of drugs? on: February 15, 2018, 09:33:36 PM
You're making literally no sense and keep acting like a cornered animal.

Criminalizing drugs leads to all of the demand for illicit substances to shift into unregulated black markets. As the global demand exceeds $500 Billion USD yearly there's an inherent incentive for organized crime and industry scale drug trafficking organizations. These go hand in hand with extortion and gun violence (even towards innocent relatives of drug addicts or dealers) as well as use of toxic (potentially deadly) substances to spike drugs with to increase profitability.

Legalizing and regulating drugs would increase purity and thus lower the risks of consumption for ever user. It would also shrink the potential black market to a point where gun crime would no longer be economically viable. Would some kids still find ways to access drugs? Obviously. That will never change and that should not matter to regulators. Appeal to emotion is no more than a dishonest strategy employed to use retards like yourself in the human chess game that is politics. Fact is, even the kids that would still seek out drugs (and find them) if they were legalized would have a substantially lower risk of getting killed or extorted by a dealer on top of being much less likely to gain impure substances that carry additional and unpredictable risks.
1814  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Legalization of drugs? on: February 15, 2018, 09:00:08 PM
You're the idiot. If drugs were legal there'd be a far smaller chance that your kid would get access to drugs. Kids have easy access to drugs because they are illegal and sold without any regulation. And not just that, but the drugs that your kids will now get on the blackmarket will have a significant chance of containing impurities that could be potentially deadly.
Educate yourself before you call other people idiots. It's obvious that you don't know what the fuck you are talking about and are just parroting propaganda.

then you think that because there is a regulation on a thing, a blackmarket about the same thing can't exist? interesting aha.
if your kids can't get what they want thru legal way, don't worry that there will always be a guy ready to make few bucks by selling them what they want;-)
If drugs were legal the black market value of drugs would evaporate to virtually nothing, since adults would be able to freely access their recreational substance of choice. With little to no profits there would be no incentive for organized and industrial scale drug crime.

So if you believe that children, and humans in general, would be safer with illegal drugs you understand neither how drugs function, nor basic Economics.

And what do you do about « adults » having free access and selling to children (because legal or not, it will cost something to buy, doesn’t it? How about people with low earnings?) I mean, also, people who did crimes or something like under drugs will be judged, sentenced, and perchais banned from buying it? What do you do for them also?
Reading you is like one problem = one solution, if only it was this simple ahaha
I mean illegal market is a problem, but you think that regulate it fix the WHOLE problem (market value will evaporate to virtually « nothing »), looks like you really think deeply about it Grin
If you actually read my post you'd have the answers to your questions. Legalized drugs = better than unlegalized drugs for the exact reasons I've outlined already. I also haven't stated that "one problem = one solution" in any way, I'm talking about overall effects here, which you clearly are not competent enough to grasp despite me formulating them out for you.

It's enough to just change your signature to the new level as far as I'm aware. And stakes are updated manually by the dev team, which is currently very busy with the ICO and negotiating listing on exchanges among other things. You will get your stakes and share before the bounty is paid out, nothing to worry about!
Thanks for the help! Smiley

BTC dominance is rising.

Good!

Would be nice to see it back to >40% over the next few days - Some alts are stacked way too high
It's not really a relevant metric, especially if you consider the overwhelming quantity of altcoins in circulation.
1817  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are Millenials Dumber and Immature Compared to previous generations? on: February 15, 2018, 08:16:11 PM
I used to think that while growing up. But as I've grown older and gotten into contact with a lot of different people from all branches of life (including Professors) I've come to realize that people in general just tend to be stupid (which wouldn't be a problem if they were aware of their shortcomings and saw them as opportunities to grow).

It seems like an extension of the education system to me, which drills obedience and repetition of blund and meaningless tasks. It also (at the very least implicitly) insists that there is only one right and a lot of wrong ways to go about things and it punishes people for not going the predefined "correct" path to a solution. This appears to creep into the general mentality of humans and seems to trigger extreme levels of caution and appeal to authority, both of which drastically stunt growth in every sense of the word (intellectual, emotional, spiritual).
1818  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Legalization of drugs? on: February 15, 2018, 08:11:08 PM
But is it actually helping anyone (society, the individual, the families) by making this stuff illegal?  I really don't think so.
Then you are an idiot! And anyone that thinks legalizing drugs would help anyone is also an idiot.
When I have a kid, I would sleep easy knowing that my kid will not get access to drugs legally. It may not be impossible for him to do so, but at least it'll not be easy either. Legalizing drugs will result in a more rowdy youth, harder to control. LIVES and GENERATIONS destroyed. Thankfully idiots like you do not run my country!
