Punishment must be barbaric to these bloody bastards like hang them in public place or should set them on fire alive.The punishment should so terrible that it may spread all over and no other should try to do this mischief again in future.
There private parts should be cut and should be left behind the jail.

Cut their private part so that they can not do again the sin they committed.For me death penalty is too much,life in prison or cut that part.

This should be the mandatory minimum punishment in cases, where it can be established that the sex was not consensual. But then, the judges must be very careful while passing on the judgement. There are a lot of framed accusations regarding rape these days, and they should remember that once the emasculation procedure is done it can't be cancelled.

Like everyone else or almost everybody here, I am a firm believer that the Death Penalty is the
justifiable punishment for such a crime. Death by any means necessary as law abides it. Maybe it
differs in some countries, there maybe a level or gravity to it but still death is still the more
convenient and imminent sentence for rapist. Life imprisonment is just too soft but optional.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

here in our country there are alot of incidents about rape i really hate a rapist,especially if the rape victim is a kid,my blood is getting high when i heard a news about rapist people.i want that they will kill all the rapist.and they must be punished by our government by killing them also,but if they don't like they will put them in jail forever.

Well the punishment should be equal to the weight of act. We can't hang him to death, though its hard to accept because that is not life that is taken.  But should a girl or a boy, as it could happen to both sex, die out of too much depression, I think it is just fair that the rapists be hanged to death also. Maybe we can check the Hammurabi code for this.

Its hard to just punish the person doing such acts. We know how hard it is for the victims. To the victim's mind maybe is a punishment  by death. Probably the more gruesome one. But even then it cannot undo everything that was done. Death to the rapist maybe is not so justified and being imprisoned is too light for him. The rapist cost the victim's future. So how about destroying also the future of the rapists. How about cutting his own. So that the rapist could learn the mistakes he did. Maybe that's a good equation.

Punishment of rapist should be either death penalty or life sentence in jail if proven guilty of his offense committed.        They should not given a chance to live in the community because they are sick of kind of wrong
doings and for sure they repeatedly do the same offense if the victims will not pursued a case against the suspect.

Punishment for rapist in my opinion is death penalty , they should die , raping woman is a heavy crime . Those who rape should not exist in this world , because woman is sacred for us men. They should be loved , and cared , because they are the one that bear us our child to be. They must be treasured and not hurting them. Rape occurs when the criminals lose their fear about punishment. They don't become rapists all of a sudden. It all starts with low-level sexual harassment such as groping and public exhibitionism. When the criminals feel emboldened that nothing has happened to them, they consider serious crimes such as rapes.

That's not how the death penalty works. If anything, threatening with a death penalty will just cause rapists to kill their rape victims to make sure that they are never caught. And then there's this class of militant feminists that would abuse the hell out of such a law.
