I thought the idea of white privilege died with phrenology! It is typical American stuff though, attempted politically correct racism, dressed up as conservative politics.
I worry about America when you hear about this sort of stuff, and what is happening in Ferguson, but whenever I've been there they always seem quite 'normal'.
When you've been there probably you haven't had a left/liberal journalist around you all the time .

That is all well known and makes the whole crisis now even more of a joke than it actually appears at first glance. What doesn't make sense to me is why they weren't thrown out of the euro straight away when this was found out?
It doesn't really explain why the Greek tragedy could mean global disaster either? They could be the first domino, but otherwise I doubt they will cause a global disaster.
A panic on the investors side and a weak can cause issues for the other mediterranean EU states (financially not much better than Greece) what can trigger similar social upheavals like in Greece, and neither the Italian not the Spanish economies are something what the rest of the EU can manage without suffering a similar meltdown like in 2007-2008. If the EU goes into depression that will have a negative effect on the Chinese and Indian and only God knows on what other economies as well and then nobody will buy US treasury bonds... So everybody going to be in deep shit.

IBM isn't a assembly of marketing geniuses. If they doing things as usual then apart from a few geek magazines and some of their high profile clients nobody will be aware of this new coin.

He had a lot of predecessors, none of them ended up very well. Anyway, after such a manifesto you guys should fire him asap.

LOL! I don't believe that EU has the guts to kick out Greece. They are chickens and they are afraid..!
Giving up on a land-grab when the Reich want to expand even further? You can't think that seriously.

Govt regulation could be the end of it, as for example someone in Chine why should care about US or EU regulations and vica-versa so in some cases that could led to hard-forks (like the debate around the 20MB fork).

At this moment there are not much real challenger for bitcoin perhaps NXT and bitshares but these two are still not very well known outside the altcoin section.

I noticed that more and more EX/Former Wall Street guys are taking their talents to Bitcoin-related businesses.
http[Suspicious link removed]c-blythe-masters-swaps-wall-street-for-bitcoin/
I mean..Bitcoin was built in the first place to avoid these guys..
I can understand your views and I'm also somewhat afraid of these gift bearing Greeks, however bitcoin primarily been built as cheap unregulated money transfer system. Until these guys are playing accordingly to btc's embedded rules I think they can be useful. I'm much more afraid of politicians then bankers. Bankers used to be sensible ppl...

Honest GYM locker rooms are digusting regardless of the gender. Might be my bad luck but every gym I've been to always has like 80+ year old men stark naked just hanging out in them all day (and yet I've never seen them use any machines..)
That's true indeed . Swimming pools are also have the similar crew of old blokes hanging around without touching the water.

It would be nice for the E.U to disappear and for European nations to be sovereign and not controlled by the elite.
Do not be naive. European countries were controlled by the very same elite since ages, with the EU they are just joined forces and built an institution what represents their common interests.

Some big money started coming in, so I think $500 at the end of the year isn't unrealistic.

Together with 21 this could be a bullish signal .

It's always good to see money coming in, whoever their agendas are, they can never ruin Bitcoin, only help it by joining it, this is the beauty of the system.
I hope you are right. You know, back in 2005 a fellow economist told me that the banking sector cannot be ruined because of it's standing too many legs, it's too redundant and it's to big to fall. But the CDS market nearly brought the banking sector to it's knees.

Why not simply order the guy to seal the holes the smoke was coming through? I'm not a smoker and I usually smell cigarette smoke from afar and when a smoker visits me I can smell it on his clothes, so I can understand that they were annoyed if their house reeked of tobacco.
You've missed many opportunities to make $500 000 like these folks... I hope these crooks will not get a single penny for "damages".
