Of course girls use bitcoin.  Now ask me if more girls use bitcoins than boys and I'd wager the answer is no.  I wish it weren't so and I'm sure there may be some market examples where more girls use bitcoin but I bet the overwhelming majority of markets have more male bitcoin users than male.  The discussion of why that is would surely be an emotionally charged issue.

There definitely are more men than women in computer science. I guess the reason why more men use bitcoin compare to women flows from that.

My girlfriend wont even listen to me when I speak of bitcoin. She thinks I waste my time and bitcoin wont succeed. Her younger brother 14 years old always asking me questions about bitcoin and he actually set up an account on this forum and is very interested in the concept. However I can speak for all women but the few in my life can careless about bitcoin.

See that the thing about life what one person/girl likes is not the same as the other, my girl has warmed to it and now trades altcoins and i must say is pretty good "better than me at least" lol

But,,, she had no interest in it for ages and then one day i needed her to sell some coin and talked her threw it on the phone when i was away and all went well, i told her how much we made on that trade and she begun researching .

This. We are still in the "this thing is a nerdy stuff" phase. Only after we get outside that phase it will make sense to talk about girl's demographic on bitcoin.

"Nerdy" is not the right word to use. I'm here yet I wouldn't be called a nerd by anyone in a million years even if I tried really hard and bought thick glasses and awful clothes I would be branded a hipster before being called a nerd. It's always good to see money coming in, whoever their agendas are, they can never ruin Bitcoin, only help it by joining it, this is the beauty of the system.

I hope you are right. You know, back in 2005 a fellow economist told me that the banking sector cannot be ruined because of it's standing too many legs, it's too redundant and it's to big to fall. But the CDS market nearly brought the banking sector to it's knees.
